Tomo went back to his tea, taking a sip before answering, "Ritsuko-san is the woman who raised me. She's also my mentor. She taught me everything I know." He looked to Arlen, "And I really don't mind at all. It takes hardly any energy to do that."

"I see." Lily told Tomo, nodding slightly. Then she gave Arlen a kiss on the cheek before going to the kitchen to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

"Sorry again Tomo," Arlen said once Lily was in the kitchen. "It's just that lately she's been almost possesed with all the energy she has. She can hardly stand still for more than a little while. I'm more than a little bit worried about it."

"I noticed something a little different about her," Tomo agreed. "I can keep an eye out for her." He added, finishing off his tea.

Lily skipped out into the main room, the energy drained off by her run starting to return. She again perched on a stool and ate, the sandwich crunching as she did, indicating the presense of potatoe chips. "Yum!" she declared, then started to eat with gusto.

Lily finished her sandwich quickly, then began to fidget in her seat, frowning. It wasn't as bad as it had been earlier, but she was restless again, and with no way to release the pent energy. "Arlen..." she fairly whined, flopping over onto the bar counter, head hitting with a muted 'thump'. "I just wanna sit for awhile...why can't I? It's not fair." the teen pouted, legs jiggling.

Kaen smiled watching the others interact. "I think I should probably go upstairs with Rose," she said, getting to her feet. "Night everyone."

Lily sniffled, then stood and went to him, lightly touching his arm. "Can I sit in your lap? That seems to help sometimes." she told him softly, ears droopy. "I'll try not to fidget too much...don't want to annoy you. Goodnight Kaen." Lily added, giving the woman a small smile. "Sleep well."

Lily snuggled close, hiding her face in his neck. The squirming died down considerably, though she still shifted every once in awhile. "Thank you." she whispered.

Kaen walked up the stairs and closed the door behind her. She crawled into bed next to Rose, the movement waking the girl. "Sweetness, it's just me. Go back to sleep," she whispered, then started to softly sing a lullaby her mother sang to her as both she and ROse fell asleep.

Tomo stood and arched his back in a stretch, "I think I'm gonna turn in as well." He said, walking towards the stairs, tail swaying. "Night, guys."
