Serenity was a bit shocked by his answer she only knew a select few who teleported she hadnt expected him to tell her that. LEtting her hand slip into his she cocked an eybrow "Live on the island? But I thought that Ialready lived on an island?"

"True. But one thing that make my island better. Only I can enter." DT let go of her hand and walked to a palm tree. "Welcome to my home." DT said knowing she did not even notice she had moved. "This is my wonder land. with a beach that heals as well as relax the body."

The evening sun hangs low in the sky, showering the earth beneath his rays in a golden hue that sets the sands on fire. Not a creature is stirring over the beach, no foot prints mar its silky surface, the only sounds that fill the air is the steady crash of the sea upon its sands. The last strands of sunlight strike upon the waters, casting beams of light, giving the sea the illusion that it is made of glass or something more valuable. A great wave rises, looming over the barren sands, casting its shadow for more than the length of a man. It comes down with a great force, taking off the very top levels of sand with it. In its wake it leaves behind the beaten and battered body of a water maid. Her normally soft skin is covered in cuts and bruises, a dirty piece of cloth covering half of her face, keeping half of her visage hidden from view. From her slender wrists a pair of shackles and a few strands of chain still remain, only one of the few physical reminders she has of her past. Her body is not bared to the vision of any who chances upon her, but is, perhaps thankfully, covered by the tattered remains of what might have been some cast of clothing. Mere rags that were too pitiful to be even used as scraps for patch work. The scales of her long, fish-like tail are dirty, covered in grit, oil and worse. She doesn't move at all, not even the smallest twitch alight her fingers. The wind spirits around drying her off, lifting her hair in a playful game that she doesn't join in. The only sign of life that graces her broken body is the faint rise and fall of her chest.

The young samurai was walking alongside the desolated shoreline like he does everytime his maind wandered with thoughts. Curiously this fated day was different, wearing just traditional japanese garments and wooden sandals the tall and toned Human walked and seemingly past by the rough treat waterfolk. He blinked and retraced his steps and gazed upon the battered body just before gainig composure and doing what he should have done first, tend to her maladies and body. With careful aproached he used his techniques and used part of his clothes to covered her seemingly undressed body. After a while he was there looking at her now fully healed and covered but sleeping, waiting for waning eyes to open again*

So exhausted is she that even through his aid, the covering of her body and the healing of her wounds, she stays gone. If he had cared to look beneath the bandage that covered her face, he would have been met with a truly gruesome truth. The skin is covered in tears, her eye missing completely and the eyelids kept shut with dried fluids from what should've been there. Compared to this injury the rest of her body seems to have received a much more tame punishment. The sun sets, taking with him both his heat and light. Leaving the earth to the cooler and softer charms of the moon. It is by her light that this lost soul begins to awaken. Beneath her eyelids, her one good eye twitches about, her head casting from side to side fitfully. Her lips part to let her fearful whimpers and moans loose into the night.

*He was there next to her as soon as she began to whimper he woke up and tended to her calmy and slowly trying not to frighten her*
Look! you are awake great my name is Seisuke. I saw you off shore injured and decided to help you. Whats your name?
*He again was careful so that she doesnt get angry or scared*

Reality comes swiftly to her, cutting into her tormented nightmares like pieces of broken glass. With a cry she sits up, her gray eye wild with surprise and fright. Despite the gentle meaning in his tone and actions, the recent trials that she has lived through, barely, have left her even more skittish around others. For a few moments she says nothing, needing to get used to looking at the world with only one eye still and also needing to convince herself that yes she is still free and no he probably won't sell her back into slavery... she prays. Her head turns to the side, gaze drifting down to figure out why her arm is so heavy... oh right, she still has those chains on. Very softly, barely above a whisper she grants her name to the wind, letting its breeze carry her answer to his ear. ".... Charis."

He finally got to be near her when he heard her voice soft and beautiful he smiled and slowly reached for her bonds. With a simpled slide of his fingers the bonds destroyed and her arms would feel even lighter* Such a nice name and Beautiful voice. Dont you worry i won't Harm you and by the looks of your chain i won't Sell you to slavery so you can calm down relax you are safe.
*He tried to reassured by throwing her bounds away from her very very far Speaking with a very soft and gentle voice*

She would gaze at her own arm, now naked of the obscene bonds of metal that had, at one time, restrained her from freedom. The look of fear in her eye, which is tinted with uncertainty is now clouded by amazement as well. Never before as she met someone who is so easy to show charity towards strangers, especially one as wretched as she had been. "Safe.... its been so long.... I can barely remember a time when I felt such", as before her voice is whisper-soft, not in fear but more in habit.

Now i know you need water and food so...*He left in front of her Cooked fish and in a plate with utensils with more grament femine this time so she would feel at home. and Seated back* When you finish if you want to leave you can now you are free to do as you please Charis

After living so many years in the highly restrictive life of a slave, it seems strange to her to have so many options laid before her. Normally her need to conceal her body would be the first need that she would seek to comply to, however, its been so long since shes had a meal, let alone a well cooked meal, that she finds that need to be the greater one. Because of her nature however, she avoids fish as often as she can. Even now she hesitates to eat it and would avoid it altogether were it not for her own need to fill her empty belly. Each time she takes a bite she lingers over the morsel of meat, saying silent prayers to whatever animal had to die to satisfy her hunger. Once her stomach is if not filled, then at least placated, she reaches for the offered clothes. Wrapping it around her chest and upper arms, hiding where some of her worst of her bruises had been beneath the clean cloth. "Leave? And go where?", she sighs, glancing from side to side at the sands that surround them. "I'm not even sure where I am."

*Seisuke blushed as she just stayed in her naked form. They said mermaids were some of the most beautiful beings in earth. And frankly they were right, he turned as his cheeks reddened and to not cause offense to the mermaid. Once she was clother and better he turned his face back at her, gathering composure, He spoke once more to satisfy her curiosity*
You are now in a location call The Red Dragon Syndicate. This has been and is a safe haven to many beings of many types of species, yours not being the exception. Since you have no home to go to i can offer you a place to stay at my home. Knowing that you cant stay out of the water for a long time i see that your best bet is here at this beach i can build you a house for you to live underwater and if you like visit you often. I find you quite intriguing, so how about it Charis?

His talk is filled with easy friendship and good will, but does he mean to keep over-whelming her? Shes just gotten used to the idea of being free and now hes offering her a home, even to build her a home here on this beach. She smiles, a mere slight curling of her lips in response to his assumptions. Many people believe that merfolk can't live out of the water long, when in fact, shes as able to live on land as any human... its just that well. Moving around tends to be a new challenge when you don't have legs. "The food was fine.. Seisuke. Please don't be worried about me, if I had trouble living on land wouldn't I be in danger now?"

Touché Charis, pretty witty of you with that answer. I guess is better if you could have a place to rest i will work on something for to be in water an Safe at the same time alley oop!

The cloaked figure dragged his sword behind him along the sand. After a few miles he collapses to his knees gripping his head in pain. A circle of flame erupts around him and as he emits a scream that would chill even the hardiest warrior's blood the circle becomes a large pillar that reaches high into the clouds. When it disappears nothing is left but a bowl of glass and the footsteps of a man and his blade...
