[Q] 0o Who'd you inherit from? You don't know her. She is far before your time. She left because Noraboo became a mod (read: a**). Kinda like Kokoryta. The irony is that Kokoryta got her bear hat from the inheritance pile that I got to keep, then she went and turned into a mini-Noraboo.

[Q] And Keithing, bah. The only thing that brought me to Gaia was the avatars and money deal. This forum -in my opinion, don't kill me- sucks a** without those things. ... It's Gaia as a whole forum community I don't like, not this guild, or the GGN. Sorry if that sounded chastising. I probably shouldn't have said it at all. But I'm in one of those say-everything cycles right now. >,o Don't worry about it! I know what you mean, my friend who urged me to join actually sent me to the Chatterbox first. I mean, it wasn't as bad as it is now, but it was a nightmare for my first time on Gaia. I was actually tempted to join that Gaia Cesspool guild at one point. But, you have a point, the whole roleplay aspect as a character does make it last longer. Nios I've seen Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas but I really didn't enjoy it. I know avatars seem silly, but I've always been turned off at the idea of forums. The avatars make me feel more comfortable talking to people. I don't know why really. I found enjoyable just to try to make sense of everything, because you're not always quite sure what's real and what they're hallucinating. And some of the quotes are priceless. I know what you mean about the avatars. Instead of having a meaningless name or the first image avatars, you have an image of another person's personality expressed in a form that you can relate to as being an actual person (most of the time). There's a face, a being, with a style that is all it's own and it could be that makes it all that more personal, rather than talking to a nameless faceless thing.

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas was not a very good movie in my opinion. I thoroughly enjoyed the book though. Not to say that I was terribly saddened by Hunter S Thompsons fairly recent death. In all honesty I'm suprised he lived that long. Actually that movie now that i think about it is the only movie in which i don't like Johnny Depp.

Actually, there's still an hour left over here. ...Wait, that makes it what time in Halifax?! Get to bed already! I was judging it based on what I can remember, but it's been almost three years since, so I might have absolutely hated it. Another book I still need to read.

Hehe it was 2:00am. I may have been intoxicated when I watched the movie but even Johnny Depp couldn't make me like the movie. I agree that there were some good quotes, but I think I would have perferred to read them from the book. The only part I remember slightly liking was the lizard part.

Nios Yeah I don't really know what I am either. I used to call myself genderqueer also. All I know is that my gender is male, my sex is female, and I'm pretty sure I'm only attracted to men. I'm still young though. I know what I am, I just know it's confusing. I rather feel like a woman deep, deep down. But this woman is essentially an FTM and happens, by sheer fortuity, to be housed in the body of a male. That is my gender; it has no name. Then, my sexual orientation. I am attracted to mostly masculine attributes with some important feminine ones. Everyone I date has to be near or around this level of androgyny, between male and female, but approaching male. This can be anyone at all, of any sex. In general, because of the type of gender I am attracted to, I am mostly pulled toward men, women, and FTMs. MTFs do not capture my attention because they rarely, if ever, have a gender balance that I like to see in a person. So there you go. Genderqueer. Neither entirely male nor entirely pansexual, even. xp

I've always seen sexual orientation and gender identity as two seperate issues.

JoVo Aren't they? I'm confused. sweatdrop Yes, that's what I'm saying, and you didn't say anything directly to the contrary, but I thought the following statements... Nios Yeah I don't really know what I am either. I used to call myself genderqueer also. All I know is that my gender is male, my sex is female, and I'm pretty sure I'm only attracted to men. I'm still young though. JoVo So there you go. Genderqueer. Neither entirely male nor entirely pansexual, even. xp ...were a little ambiguous. I didn't mean to confuse anyone -- I just wanted to see whether or not we were on the same page. sweatdrop
