Morbidea dragged her feet to Demonic Ties. She could barely walk but entered. She looked around and sat in a chair.

Jack's eyes lingered to the side, to see who had sat near him. He recognized the person on the spot: Morbidea. Hidden under the hood, he chuckled quietly.
"Morbidea... sorry I've been gone."

Jack turned his head to face Morbidea more fully. Although it couldn't be seen, there was a small grin on his face.
"Sorry I disappeared like that. I was trying to... take care of things. It's... still difficult. But... things have changed already. Heh. Never thought it would happen."

Jack pulled back his hood, showing off his now extremely pale skin and bloodshot, dulled eyes.
