Ayumi looked at Chase then at Little Chase. "I could tell, just remember she's older then you." She said nodding her head as she sat him back down and hugged Chase tightly. "I'm sorry my village needed me and my brother needed my help." She said holding back tears. "I'm here now, the village is safe and I'm not going to leave again." She said softly to him.

"I'm glad, I'm sorry if Sage taking care of our son bothered you, but I can't take care of him alone I need help and she was there, but you're back. He really likes both of you and don't worry he knows you're his mother" he kissed her again.
Little Chase looked at Tess. "So? I love Tess. Why should age matter." Chase smiled. "don't worry about age son, do what your feelings tell you to do." he looked at Ayumi. "trust me age doesn't matter he's not going to age the same as most people at some point you won't be able to tell there's much of an age difference between the two. Son I'm happy you found someone you love." Little Chase smiled. "daddy approves, mommy does too?"

"Its ok, like my brother said I'll get over it and I knew he would." Ayumi said and looked at Little Chase. "Yeah trust daddy about the age part. I'm just trying to get used to him ageing differently then us." She said looking up at Chase. "If daddy said its ok then I'm ok with it....As long as its not Sage you love that is." She mumbled that last part.

Chase smiled. "I'm glad because I really missed you Ayumi it makes me happy to have you back and not hating me." Little Chase smiled. "Mommy I think daddy wants you to kiss him." Chase turned red. "son you're too young to play matchmaker, lucky guess though." Little Chase laughed and heard her say something but couldn't hear, "something wrong mommy?"

"I missed you too Chase and I'm not big on hating you." Ayumi said as she looked at Little Chase smiling. "I was just about to." She said turning back to him and kissed him deeply. After a couple minutes she let the kiss go and looked at Little Chase. "Oh nothing."

Chase smiled and held Ayumi as she kissed him. "I'm glad, I was afraid you would be mad at me for a long time." Little Chase smiled then remembered something. "oh mommy mommy" he pointed to Tess. "tess is a kitty too." he smiled. "go to Tess?" he wanted to be near Tess again.

Little Chase looked at Ayumi. "I can't make food mommy" he looked at Tess. "did I mention she's very pretty and she's so nice too mommy."
