Amy looked really confused. "Kind of the point? Why on Earth would you two..."
The words and their meaning finally clicked in her mind and her eyes widened. "Wait.... You two... You and Kits?! You two were together?! I thought you were just friends! You slept together?!"

Amy was very relieved to hear that it had happened so long ago.
"A few years? Well that's good... You both have got to be over it by now, right? Thank you for telling me about it, Karrie. I really appreciate it. Well, hinting at it."

Amy thought about what he said and didn't know if it was a good thing or not.
"Uh, thanks, I guess? Though, I hope you'd tell me things that are important about your past because you want to, not just because you're afraid I'll find out about it eventually anyway."

I wasn't afraid you'd find out. I wasn't hiding it, we just don't discuss it very often. We do talk about it, though, and I decided that I'd prefer it not to be a shock to you when Kits mentions the time we spent together. Because I know she will eventually.

Amy nodded. "Well, thank you for that. I would hate that kind of surprise..."
She wanted to move on to talking about the trip again. Her smile brightened slightly and she hopped off of Karrie's lap.
"Well, I better start packing! I'll have to get my stuff from home, but I'll be back soon. And since I'm not taking my cell phone with us, I'll check it now and then just leave it here, if that's okay. Thank you again for this supper, Karrie. I loved it. It was very sweet of you."
She kissed Karrie's cheek and then went into Karrie's bedroom where she had left her cell phone on Wednesday. She and Karrie had kept their cell phones off the past two days so that they wouldn't get anymore bad news that might upset Karrie more.
She turned her cell phone on, waited for the menu to come up, and then noticed she had a few text and voice mail messages. She checked her texts and then her voice mail. There was nothing she had to reply to, yet.
After a few minutes, she got to her fourth message. It was from one of the Aqua Springs staff members. He had a message to give to her from Psyzapp.
After listening to it, Amy's eyes were wide and she could barely believe what she had heard. Had she really been talking about Thistle? Sweet, cute Thistle?
A few moments later, she pulled her phone away from her ear and looked incredulously at it.
"WHAT?!"

*sits for a few minutes before he gets up to take care of the dishes. As soon as he'd taken the last of them into the kitchen, he heard Amy yell and went to his bedroom* What's going on?

Amy looked from Karrie back to her phone, back to Karrie, and back to her phone. Her mouth was moving slightly but no words were coming out.
Finally, she pushed a few buttons on her phone and walked over to Karrie. She put the phone up to his ear.
A few moments later, she brought it back and looked at him, shocked. "Thistle! She's talking about Thistle! My pony is NOT dangerous! Yes, she hurt Draa that one time, but she hadn't done it on purpose! She was playing! And she had gotten upset and started thrashing one time when Katana had been getting upset with me, but she was just trying to defend me! Nothing actually happened! I can't put her on a leash, Karrie! She's not a dog! She's the sweetest, most-caring baby animal there is!"
Her eyes were wide and hurt.
"All she did yesterday was run to MW to deliver a letter to Ryzan. That was it! She came right back. I know this because she was only gone for 15 minutes, tops! She couldn't have possibly done anything wrong in that short amount of time!"

*listens to the message, his eyes widening* I think it's a good idea if you don't send Thistle to MW anymore. At least until she can say more, so they know she's not there to cause problems.
I think part of the problem is that she is just a baby, and doesn't always realize she may be causing problems for others. For now, if you want a message sent, it would be best if you'd send it with Velcore. They seem to accept him being there.

Amy looked at Karrie incredulously. "What? You also think that she causes problems?! She's not even a foot tall, Karrie! She squeaks, and now she's pink!"

I don't think she causes problems on purpose. But she is just a baby, and she has a lot of excess energy. I know she's gotten me in some more sensitive areas with her hooves because she wouldn't hold still while I was holding her... *winces*

"That... That is completely different! You were holding her! No one holds her at MW! She wouldn't hurt them..."
She scoffed and closed her phone shut, the sound echoing in the room. She pocketed it and walked into the living room.
"I'm sorry I thought you'd be upset about this, too. I will not put a leash on Thistle. I won't have her go to MW anymore and I won't go to MW anymore. I guess we don't have to worry about you trying to be more open about our relationship over there anymore. Hell, you could have another identity over there if you wanted!"
She picked up Thistle. "I have to go to my house to pack and now I have to stop by Kits' to not only drop off Thistle but also tell her that Thistle can't go to MW anymore."

I don't expect you to put a leash on her. She follows you around well enough on her own. Psyzapp just isn't really an animal person, other than those guard dogs of hers. *frowns when she says she won't go to MW anymore, but doesn't say anything about it. He'll talk to her later, when she's calmed down some* Don't worry about dropping Thistle off. Kits is going to drive us to the airport in the morning. She's better at waking up than I am, and she thought that Thistle and Velcore would want to see us to the airport, even if they can't go inside with us.

Amy paused on her way to the front door. Kits was taking Velcore and Thistle with them to the airport? Well that was really sweet of her! She would probably be upset at what Psyzapp thought of Thistle.
She turned around to look at Karrie. "Well I'll take Thistle with me, anyway, while I go pack. I wouldn't want her to accidentally damage something in your house. Besides, I have to pack for her, too. She'll have to show me which toys and food she wants to take over to Kits. She might also want to take her tutu."
She was hurt that Karrie didn't comment at all about her not going to MW anymore or the second identity thing she had said. He was probably not wanting to say anything that would upset her more, but of course she'd be upset over this thing with Thistle! Thistle was her baby!
Thistle squeaked in Amy's arms and looked at Karrie with wide, startled eyes. She could feel the anger coming off of Amy, and she didn't know what was wrong at all. She was slightly nervous.
