Sayrike::The Black Pearl::Lower Decks Although loathe to speak, Sayrike did her best at covering up any anxieties she had about sounding stupid and angering more people as she piped up, "Er, I do have one more question. How many Replicas are there that you know about? And, since we have everyone here...well, since they're Replicas, I'm assuming they'd have the same fears and weaknesses as the original. I think that, as a good strategy, we should share what some of these are. Who knows? It could help in battle, knowing what the opponent shies away from and where they are lacking in skills." Kyle's use of light as he reached into the crate had not gone unnoticed before, but it had taken some time before she realized that he could have been afraid of bugs or rats or something else in there. At this point, every bit of information would be of use. [an unusually short post, but I'm busy. Stupid school.]

[John.:Hawaii:.Beach]
John stood there for a little bit just staring blankly at Nick.
"Nicholas, huh...? Uh... if you don't mind me asking... where does your name derive from? I mean, Nicholas in earthen terms comes from the Greek language. If anyone's seen "My Big Fat Greek Wedding", ya know? Nick Nick Nick Nikki and I am Gus... alright you probably don't know that, but it's just weird that that might be a coincidence..." John rambled on.
He stood there slightly confused, but slowly realizing that actual logic and physics would often fail him... no matter what he did.

[Cloud : Hawaii : Outside Village/Clearing]
"Dammit," Cloud said. Whenever he attempted to go on the offensive, another one of Genesis's attacks was thrown at him. It was clear he was the favorite target in this fight, although in all fairness Cloud did attack first, and without provocation. The majority of the homing missiles focused in on him, too many to dodge them all. The blasts kept him from coordinating his attack with Leon and Alan.
If their attack's struck, Cloud's would come a moment after– if Genesis was still in the same spot– in the form of jumping high enough above Genesis to come stabbing down with his blade.
((Cloud's attack is based on the assumption that Alan's mystery attack has already been fired -ala, Cloud is preoccupied getting pwned by homing missiles atm. I'll edit if that's not okay. It's an "If" scenario. XD))

[Amy : Narnia : Enclave]
Amy stood in awe as the forest around her bloomed back to life. She had not expected it to work quite that well, or that quickly. A closer inspection of the trees revealed that they were still scorched; some of them retained the scars of the fire even as they were healed. Some of them didn't magically recover all of their leaves. What was clear, however, was that they were saved, and that was the important thing.
The hairs on the back of her neck stood on end. Curious, Amy turned around to see a dark portal there and waiting. Riku assured them all over the Trinity Charms that it led to the beach- Demyx had been able to find them using Kyla's memories of the place and Riku repeating it aloud. In fact, it had taken five or six tries to finally get the right location- the first one led off the edge of a waterfall.
Drained, Amy couldn't wait to get back to the beach and her friends. The forest would survive. She looked back to the road Cory had taken. They all would survive. She entered the portal and exited onto the beach, immediately collapsed onto all fours, and ridiculously made a show of kissing the sand.

[Dawn : Caribbean Sea : Lower Decks]
Dawn glared momentarily at Jacob at his suggestion of getting James back. Before she could say anything, Noelle took the words right out of her mouth. She simply looked away, she really didn't need to be snapping anyone right now. She probably would end up saying something that she would really regret. As the conversation carried on, Dawn's mind drifted to what Ajora had said before.
"He wants us to fight him..." she said softly as she looked at the others, "Remember what Ajora said... To save him we are going to have to crush him. Like Sora had to, to save Riku." Dawn glanced over at Sora, she thought briefly on what it might of took him to fight his best friend like he did, "I don't think I have what it will take to fight him. I can never fight a friend. I just want to save him. Not just for me, he also has Michelle waiting for him."
She glanced away from the others, she didn't care at how stupid she sounded. That maybe the only possible way to save him would be to fight him. Something in her heart she refused to do to a friend who need her help.

{Genesis, Leon : Village Outskirts : Clearing}
Genesis watched, surveying his enemies below as they managed to dodge and block his attacks. His attention though was mostly on Cloud, which was a big mistake on his part. He didn't see as Leon charged and unleashed the Thundara Spell. The bolt of lightning from above struck right down on top of him.
"Gah!" He yelled out, his body stunned by the electric charge.
Leon watched as the bolt of lightning crashed down right on Genesis, a pleased smirk on his face that he got in a hit. He looked over at Alan and saw that he was chanting something, obviously getting ready for some kind of attack.
"If you're going to hit him, do it now!" He said, hoping that the black mage would take the initiative and strike while Genesis was stunned.

[Alan :: Village Outskirts, Clearing]
As Alan was occupied with chanting words of power to control his magic, he could make no reply to Leon other than to nod. Red-gold energy coursed visibly through his body - he was overchanneling this spell. Since it could well be the best opportunity to strike, there was no sense in holding back from a finishing blow.
Alan stopped chanting, pointed at the ground beneath Genesis's feet, and uttered a simple command: "Burn." For just a little bit less than a second, four glowing glyphs appeared on the ground around Genesis. Then, a massive pillar of fire erupted from the area bordered by the glowing marks.
The pillar burned for a few seconds, long enough to give a fleeting sense of presence, but not long enough for it to begin to smoke. It burned red-hot and pure. Though it was beautiful, it was hard to look directly at it. Anyone nearby who happened to be looking in the direction of the clearing would see flames rising above the tree tops.
Alan wasn't going for a killing blow, exactly. He was striking to injure. Fire is good for that, actually - even if you suffer a fatal burn, it takes a while for you to die, long enough for a healer to tend to you.

Jacob ll Below Decks ll Black Pearl
"Alrighty Kyle. You win. But Noelle...Dawn...James is a rad dude, but if it takes a boot to the head, and some rope to get him back, then that's what it takes. He won't be missing limbs, and we buy time trying to save him. But he gets anywhere near me, and I'm telling you this so you don't flip out later, I will attack and try to subdue him with any nonlethal methods at my disposal. He's rad, but I'm not going to die to a zombie. I'm already freaked out by them enough..." He said with a sigh, shuddering slightly. He took a step further from the door, away from Dawn and Noelle and glanced over to Sayrike, then to Kyle. That was a MUCH better question than his. By now, the pain in his muscles and sweat from his brow had both subsided and effectively vanished. As soon as Kyle finished up, Jacob wanted to head back outside.

[[Louis : Caribbean Sea : Black Pearl - Lower Deck]]
"Then it's decided?" the arcanist said as they curtain was slowly pulled over the discussion, "If we encounter James... the plan is to take him out by any non-lethal means necessary, before he causes any more harm to us or himself."
Louis nodded at Jacob reiterating his statement, "And that's non-lethal means. If he attacks, remember he's still alive and we plan for him to stay that way. Understand?"

((Woo, GMing! Thanks, Amy! Sorry I haven't been posting as often. Work's being EVIL and all I want to do anymore is kill things read my Christmas presents when I get home. ><; This is apparently gonna go on through next week, too, but I'm gonna try not to poof off the face of existence again. HOW the crap Dawn handles the BS we put up with at work and still has the will to be creative and post I still don't understand.))
{Bobbi, Demyx .:. Hawaii .:. Beach}
Bobbi grinned at Amy's antics as the gunner came back through the portal. She looked around at the rest of the group, feeling slightly removed from the crowd. That wasn't any different from how things had been back home, but over the last few days, she'd been getting kind of used to being in the thick of things. And then she had that nice little mental breakdown and stayed at the castle for a bit, and she felt like an outsider again.
The archer breathed a heavy sigh, figuring she might as well get used to being on the outside looking in again. She wasn't as familiar with most of the people on this quest as she was with... well, everyone who had stuck with the task Mickey had originally given them. She was quite convinced, especially after her trip to Disney Castle, that Mickey had the right idea.
War was not a pretty thing...
~:Oh, stop with the dramatics, child,:~ Shiva scolded gently. ~:You take far too much on your shoulders. How many of you are there now? You children are practically a small army yourselves. You have all been through so much in the last several days. Take a small moment to yourself, will you? I believe the others plan to enjoy the beach now that the girls are back safe.:~
Yeah, but... The Archer sighed. I guess. The only "beach" I've ever been to was at the lake back home. No ocean, just a lake, but it was fun.
She started to wonder what the Dress Sphere would make her bathing suit out to be. And also wondered if her figure had improved at all in the last six days. She didn't exactly have a beach bod at home, but with all the running, fighting, and just general exercise that had been forced on her, she wouldn't be surprised if there was already a noticeable difference in her body.
Demyx waited for the girls to finish their way through the portal, then let it collapse. He looked around at the group, noticed the girl-to-guy ratio, and grinned.
"Okay, ladies," he said, purposefully bringing all attention to himself. "Now that you're back safe and sound... Who wants to get wet?" His grin became a bit lewd, flirtatious. And he braced himself to duck anything that went flying his way, because he knew how many different ways that question could be taken.
He spared a moment, though, to wonder where Cloud and Leon went. If anyone needed some time on a beach surrounded by hot babes in swimsuits, it would be those two.

[John.:Hawaii:.Beach]
Before Nich could respond, the girls came through the portal and Amy was especially noticeable as she had her head in the sand, kissing it profusely. It was rather comical to see, but time was being wasted at the same time. He could not predict when, if ever, he would see the beaches of Hawaii again, so he quickly walked over to Amy and used his body to cast a shadow upon her.
Then, quickly, and efficiently, John hoisted the smaller one upon his shoulder fireman style and began to walk toward the ocean.
"Now now now dearr. Thies is no tiyme for kiessing sand," John retorted in a Russian accent. "Big strong man throw you into ocean and you change into bathing suit, am I right? I think yes."

{Genesis ; Leon : Village Outskirts : Clearing}
Genesis was trying to shake off the lightning strike, before he could though he immediately felt intense heat as a column of fire shot up from underneath him. He folded his arms over his chest, bracing for the heat before it faded not more than a few seconds afterwards. He did not even have time to lower his arms though as Cloud came down with his blade striking down upon his left shoulder. Anger showed clearly on his face as he looked down upon the three.
"I... will not... be defeated so easily...." He said between pants for air as he flapped his wing to stay airborne. He raised his blade high and began charging energy into it. "Not without killing you all first!" He yelled unleashing the energy.
A massive green circle, far too wide to escape from in time appeared beneath the three fighter's feet, intricate runes and writing appearing on the ground and circling slowly. It didn't last though as Genesis lowered his sword a massive explosion of green non-elemental energy erupted from the circle as Genesis' Limit Break Apocalypse went off.
"Even if the morrow is barren of promises. Nothing shall forestall my return." He said calmly, falling back into the recitation of the poetry he knew so well, as he watched the explosion subside.
Before any of them would have a chance to react, a portal of darkness opened behind Genesis which he simply glided into, disappearing from sight and trace with a light chuckle.
Leon stayed focused on Genesis as Alan unleashed a massive pillar of flame, from which the gunblader could feel the heat. Immediately afterward, Cloud came down with a strike that hit Genesis dead on as well. Leon was starting to get the feeling the tide of the battle was about to turn in their favor. When it was all said and done though, Genesis emerged with little more than a slice to his shoulder and a few burns. He knew this fight wasn't going to end well. He listened intently to Genesis' words, anticipating some kind of attack. He prepared for the worst as best he could. Though there wasn't much he could do with the attack erupting from the ground upward. He was immediately blown off his feet by the powerful explosion of energy.
"Aaaahhh!!!" He yelled out in pain as the blast enveloped him and the surrounding area before he crashed to the ground.
He laid still, his body unwilling to respond for a moment due to the pain of the explosion until he finally started to move, his gloved hands closing around the soft sand on the ground as he tried to find his gunblade.
"That really... hurt..." He exclaimed, panting as he tried to get off the ground.

[Nick :: Hawaii :: Beach]
Nick stared at the person who had addressed him. He blinked a few times as he hoisted up the gun toting girl who was kissing the sand. If I was really an Ivalician, I would find this really freakin' weird. he thought to himself before turning to John and answering his previous question.
"I'm not sure what you mean, exactly. My parents gave me my name, so it's the name I'll continue to use. And I'm not sure what or where a 'Greek' is, but congratulations on your big fat Greek wedding. Now, if you will excuse me, I think I'll be tossing the loud flirtacious one into the water."
He grinned, charging somewhat clumsily through the sand towards Demyx, preparing to throw the water manipulating Nobody into the salty Hawaiian ocean.

[The Black Pearl ~ Lower Decks]
Noelle squirmed under Joe's arm, rolling her shoulders forward. She appreciated his gesture and it wasn't him she was reacting to. Everyone was deciding to be . . . sensitive about the situation. She was with Dawn when the girl said she didn't want to have to fight him, but the difference between the two of them was that she would if she had to.
I just wish everyone would stop using the term "hog-tie." 'They're not trying to be rude, human. Stop being so sensitive.' . . . Yeah, that helps me feel better. You're good at this.
If Titan wasn't familiar with Noelle's sarcasm before, he was now. The agromancer sighed and leaned against Joe, still feeling frustrated. She wanted to stay and help with James, but she couldn't. Without her magic she'd just get herself killed.

{Kyle : Hawaii : Beach}
Kyle barely paid attention to Nick's introduction. He already knew his name. Seymour introduced him as Nicholas, so he didn't see much point to another introduction. Whatever. Not like it took very long. Laying down, he glanced left and right, waiting for the girls to come back. Demyx had tried several portals and it seemed like he had just found the right one. And yes, there was Amy, coming through the portal and kissing the sand. Then Demyx became a pervert. Lovely. He would have been a fool to not know the different ways that could be taken...wait...Demyx...entirely possible.
Regardless of whether he knew or not, Kyle onto his stomach and, with a flick of his fingers, sent a rather large pillar of sand flying at the foolish Nobody. It wouldn't hurt him, but if he got enough sand down his pants he might attempt to not be a manwhore. Might.
And then a rather large vibration hit him. Looking around quickly, he noticed that nobody else seemed to be affected. So it was just him. Why only him? Maybe because he was lying on the earth and that was his element? I...should probably go find out what that was. The villagers might be in danger. Standing up, he casually flicked his fingers and the sand that stuck to him fell to the ground. "I'll be back in a bit. I figure that Alan, Kichi, Leon and Cloud might be interested in joining us in our beach time." He said as he walked back up the path, his clothes changing now that he was away from the beach.
As soon as he was sure he couldn't be seen, he broke into a run and activated Tracing the Steps. He needed to find the cause of the vibrations. And it looked like the village was fine, but he didn't see his fellow Earthlings. Well, it looked like there was only going to be one thing to do. Running down a path chosen at random, Kyle started his plan. "Alan! Cloud! Leon!" He shouted out, as loudly as he could. He wasn't sure where they were, but he was willing to bet that they could hear him.
