As he rolled with her, she had actually released him, landing hard on her butt. As he held her though, she melted into his arms, wrapping her own around him and letting him sob.
"I'm sorry too. I should not let that kind of thing get to me. After all, I know that you wouldnt dare piss off this vampiress like that." Grinning at him, she kissed him tenderly as Jester walked away, laughing softly.
"Alright, I would rather you not go to the wedding than make a scene. But I am going to insist that you apologize to Skiaska. She had been beating herself up about this since you started acting like such a d**k to the guy she fell in love with." Standing, she stretched, cracking her neck and running her hand back through her black hair. For the first time in years she had taken the red out of it, the natural black glimmering as the sky began to lighten in the anticipation of sunrise.

'I'll apologise to her, yeah. But I can't help but hate a man who threatens me with a muzzle, as if I'm some beast to be tamed and caged! Esou will not have such things be said of him!' He closed his eyes and calmed down a moment.
'He can't go around claiming he'll take my position. Someone needs to tell him that Omega isn't a Rank you can be given or promoted to. It is a life that the twins give me. He's a fool to think his tainted soul will be gifted with the powers of Omega. He doesn't understand the loneliness of the Omega...'
He turned for a moment, as if depressed. He thrust his arms out, cooled off, and flicked a cigarette out, lighting it, and huffing. Turning back around to here, as the moonlight began to fade, and the sky hinted at morning, he realised: 'We need to get you back to Haven! It's almost morning!' he said, rushing over to her, cigarette in mouth, ready to pick her up.

"Well, to be honest your life isnt as lonely anymore." Giving him a soft wink she planted anothe kiss on his lips before he moved away from her, while she turned her attention upwards as the sky began to lighten. As Krii moved over to her to pick her up, she held ehr hand out as she made her way over to the fire escape so she could ascend to the rooftop to hopefully watch the sunrise.
"Wait," was all she said to him as she ascended, daylight breaking over the horizon of the city. For the first time since her whole ordeal with rogue, she realized that she was a little afraid. However there was no way that she was going to miss this moment. Hoping that Krii would follow her, she stood on the ledge of the building as the sunlight fell on her grimacing figure.
The instant she felt it on her, she opened her eyes and looked at it. This was the first time she had seen the light in a long time. Even before she was turned it spent her nights out hunting and the days sleeping so it was rare for her to catch a glimpse of it. She had sheltered herself from something that she knew she couldnt have ever again, and being able to get a second chance, even if it was just for this one time, it was all worth it.

Krii'Ouse followed her up the fire escape, afraid of what she was doing. He huffed from his cigarette, and watched the sun rise with her, his body wanting to be close to her, but as the sunlight fell upon her form, he stepped away from her. 'Honey... what... what's going on...? You... you're in the sunlight! Why? I'm...' He fell to his knees, confused beyond all imagination.
Then, he stood, his eyes beginning to glow. 'Have you gone to the vampires?! What's going on?!' He stood there, his stance defensive, but he was asking before acting. This was the woman he loved. He wouldn't make horrible assumptions about her. 'What's going on?' he fell to his knees again, his cigarette floating an inch above the ground.

"Krii...You have to try and understand." She spoke without looking at him, but at the same time she knew that it would be hard for him. Turning her eyes from the light as it began to burn slightly, she faced him and moved over to him, kneeling in front of him.
"I am still a hunter. But i did strike a deal with Rogue that is personal and does not involve the hunters at all. When the time comes for you to strike on them, I just cannot be involved. Doesnt mean i am going to try and stop you however. By all means, give them hell." She laughe dslightly, trying to make light of a situation that she knew he would not find amusing at all. Sighing slightly, she lowered her head as she felt his eyes on her contiuously, while the sun continued to cover the city. It felt good...but would mean nothing if her love would not even speak to her anymore.
"Please...say something?"

'You're not one of them, then?' he asked. He rose, and wrapped his arms around her. 'I'm so relieved.' he sighed, holding her close. 'At least we have this...' He turned to the rising sun, and looked out at the shining city. 'This is the first time I've seen sunrise in a long time, myself...' He smiled, and kissed her passionately as the suns rays stretched further over the city.

"No, I am not one of them. I just cant be directly involved with retaliations on the vampires from now on." He held her close, and she closed her eyes, clinging to him. before opening them so that she could watch the sunrise with him. She smiled back at him as he kissed her passionately as she returned the kiss, sliding her hands up his chest and wrapping around his neck.

Krii'Ouse ended the kiss, and looked atthe time. 'You haven't long. You should get back to Haven for the wedding.' he said, scratching his ear. 'I'll send you a message if anything happens. I need some fresh air for a little while.'
He hugged her, and kissed her once more. He waited for her to leave, and held onto her hand while he waited. 'I love you.'

She nodded to him, sighing slightly as she gave his hand a gentle squeeze. She knew that he was right, but at the same time, she did not want this moment to end. The sun and her love were here at the same time, and the only thing that she wanted was to just stay. But, Skiaska's wedding was important and she had promised to be there.
"Alright baby. But if you get in trouble, let me know. I'll be here in two shaked of a lambs tail." She kissed him back as his lips graced hers once more, bringing his hand up to her cheek and removing her own so that it cupped her face.
"I love you to." With that, she disappeared over the ledge of the building back towards Haven.

Krii'Ouse turned, and leapt back into the alleyway, taking his cigarette with him. He huffed from the nicotine stick, and exhaled, sniffing around the smoke. Something was off. He didn't know what. He tried to push it aside, and continued walking.

Scott sat leaned against a wall, Cigar in the corner of his mouth. "Still not ready to talk?" He asked the man pinned to the wall. It took the hunter the better part of the night chasing it, and right now, he was making the vampire pay for every second. The freak spit at Scott, but it just dribbled down his chin. Scott looked over as some of the spittle dropped down the three stories through the grate of the fire escape. The sun was grazing the vampire's hair, and Scott could see the smoke rising. That means only a few of them are immune, HE thought to himself. Scott heard the footsteps of Krii as he came past the alleyway. He pulled the blessed silver stake out just long enough for the vampire to gain a glimmer of desperate hope. It was promptly lammed back it, this time piercing the heart. Twirling the spike in his hand, he jumped down and landed softly. "What's new boss?" He asked as he trotted up to the Omega. HE didn't really care if the vamp lived or died at this point. If it did, then Scott's description would be given and he would be hunted. Didn't matter, in fact, it made his job a little easier.

'Hmm?' Krii'Ouse turned, hearing Scott's voice. 'Oh, hey. Nothing, just walking around. I needed air.' he said, half-lying. He huffed his cigarette, and flicked the butt to the side. He sniffed the air, and frowned. 'Something definitely smells off kilter right now... I'm not sure why...' he whispered to the fellow Hunter.
'I'm sensing some very strange auras about, and I don't like it.'

Scott nodded as he kept pace. "I know what you mean. Whole city is a barrel of fish." He said knowingly, using one of his favorite metaphors. "On a more solid note, not all of the vamps are immune to UV, but I don't know which ones. Still, a full fledged invasion shouldn't happen for a few days. I just wish I could find out what gave them this new power."

Krii'Ouse's ear twitched. His neck quickly snapped to where it came from. 'Ithas to come from up the ladder. I'm not sure, but it has to do with the elders.' His ear twitched again. 'Scott...' he said, lowering his voice. 'I want you to go back to Haven.' He was determined, and wouldn't take no for an answer. 'Go. Now.'

He shrugged and changed direction without question. He may not have gained respect for the leader as a person, but it was an order. One of the first he had received. In actuality, it made him feel more comfortable knowing that the leaders had actual leadership potential.
