The Darth Vizzle ******** GOD DAMMIT. I HATE COLLEGE, WHY DOES EVERYTHING COST SO MUCH FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU--- ******** it, I'm getting a job. Federal aid and the entire funding system can suck my d**k, I can't afford college, my car, and the commute on this b***h-a** amount of money. Ontop of that, I already have to drop one class because it's a 4000/senior class and I don't even have the ******** writing/research seminars done for it. Why does my counselor keep suggesting I take these ******** classes that I'm not prepared for and/or have no idea what I'm facing in terms of workload? FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU--- Dude. Im going through the same s**t. One difference though. My car just died on me so I have no transportation to work or either one of the two colleges im suppose to be attending.

Vash Sengou Bloody hell.... 1) How did I lose? 2) Why do I always have to fight the confusing ones? Hn. I have similar questions.
1. How couldn't I have won? 2. Why must I always fight people with creepy upstart-Ken wanna-be avatars? It's like it's a never ending trend or something. Scares the s**t out of me.

The very start of college is usually the worst, especially if you're living alone. And even more so if your major is as scholarly as History.
I had all sorts of problems. You will too. It comes with the territory. It'll be worth it as long as you really like what you're studying.

Yes! You mean you don't see it?
The blond hair, the chi, the calm posture that looks like it could lead to a Shoryuken at any second - it's a mirror of my Round 2 opponent's avatar except with admittedly cooler glasses and darker skin!

I see it in your eyes.

I see it in your eyes. That's funny. Although you mistake the aura for something other than what it is. By the way, your forget the hair is undoubtedly much shorter, and cleaner cut..... hey... adding in a move like the shoryuken doesn't sound all that bad..... razz Joking I would hate to have to resort to a mirror of a famous game characters signature move, however, if even given a "whoopsies" moment, I would be happy to oblige the audience with a few laughs as they question how one could actually fall for the signature uppercut to the chin with the cheesy grin that follows through to the epic rotation that is the shoryuken.

I love history. And, hell, I like college.
However, I don't like the way my money seems to be drying up faster and faster. I'm not entirely sure how I can manage on what they give me. If I didn't have to pay for the car, there'd be no problem, but paying for it is killing my funds really, really hard.

I'd go do manual labor if they paid me in cash.
No s**t, I would haul raw material. I actually enjoy that. I could sling concrete for a few hours every day, sure. So long as they paid me cash under the table. The problem is finding that sort of situation in such a rural area.
I mean, sure, I could do farm work, but they pay you ******** nickles and dimes for that. So, I'm looking to probably get a job. For this semester, I'm going to watch my funds and see how quickly they dwindle, and if it's too fast for my liking, I'll get a job come next semester.

I'm actually in a similar boat. I'm starting up college again ASAP next year, and while I'll seek financial aid as possible, I'll definitely need a job. Problem is, jobs're scarce around here - and you add in the fact I now refuse to work at fast food joints because I'm fairly positive they are in fact ministries of Satan himself, it's a fun task.
Might have me a job at a bank nearby though. I'm a regular there and got a reference from an employee. I'm telling you, not having any cash at all's nothing pleasant; I'm lucky I got nearly $100 from a fraudulent charge claim on me.

I AM a sophomore.
And the class is supposedly for history majors only, and you're supposed to have these research seminars before taking the class.
I took one my freshman year, and it was a bit rough. This one has like 2.5x the workload of most other classes though.
EDIT:: And really, I could take the class, if it weren't for the seminar/intro to research I have. But doing both was ill-advised by the teacher for the 4000 class.

Vash Sengou Bloody hell.... 1) How did I lose? 2) Why do I always have to fight the confusing ones? We lost because the judges saw something we did not notice or consider while writing our posts. We lose because we are not perfect beings and there is no perfect judging system for fights that never happened. We lost because of how our particular judges interpreted our matches and how we used our abilities. The questions you should be asking yourself are. 1. How do I improve my character 2. How do I improve my writing style 3. What are judges looking for in a match and how can I appeal to those needs. I know why I lost my match. Under the circumstances given to me my opponent did a better job of fighting and describing said fight. But rather than be bitter I am telling my opponent good match and I wish you luck. Time to prepare for the next.
