Suki found her mark in a matter of moments, carrying herself out onto the street and passing by a small homeless child along her way. She caught his hand quite quickly, pulling him down into an alley like a destressed mother. She quickly bent down before him, giving a cant to her head as he watched her closely. She placed both her hands upon his shoulders, and gave a quick squeeze to crack his collarbones. With a yelp, the boy passed out. She let him fall to the ground, then gave a quick jab of her heel to snap his neck. With a glance about her, she made sure no one was watching.
The boy in one hollow on her elbow, she leaped her way up a fire escape, feeling the boy's meat against her arm as she went. He was rather large for a homeless one. She was growing hungry. She made it to the rooftop and, making sure no one was around, she began her change. Her shoulderblades grew, the cloth about her visage stretching untill it fell without hesitation. Her cloak billowed open, a furry black stump growing from behind her cloak quickly. Her nostrils flared as she let out a wicked howl, her snout forming along with her body, and arms. Her clothes merely stretched, already having slits in the leather for just such an occasion. Her hair grew long, course, and thick, the black mesh all about her body.
She quickly looked about once more, auditories pistioning upward at the merest sound. She let her large hand find the boy's middle back and bring his abdomen to her lips.
Soon after, she was back once more, the boy's bones tucked away neatly into a garbage can, after she had cleaned the blood with a handy scrap of cloth. His toe and finger bones were kept in a bag stuck into her cloak along with a bit of meat that she had dried days ago. She would eat them later, chewing the sweet marrow from the middle and discarding the bone. She walked back into the busier street, her black eyes shining with one of her few emotions, brief and sharp happiness. It was gone in a moment. Meloncholy replaced it quickly. She made her way to a nearby park, where she noticed another Lycan was close. She quickly diverted from her path so she could glance at the male, memorizing his scent and sitting on a nearby wooden bench. Her black eyes closed, revealing the blood-spattered eyelids. She sighed heavily, crossing her legs and looking out at the dark skyline. Her scent carried bloody death.

She smiled at him softly, trying to show him that she thought the same thing. "It isnt fair baby, I know. But who knows? All we can do is pray for a miracle love. I want a child as well, but I understand that as long as I have you then that will make me content." She gently brushed some of his tears away looking him in the eyes with her crimson ones. All she could do was give him some glimmer of hope in her own smile and a ressurance that everything was going to be ok.

Krii'Ouse turned around, now totally facing her. He wrapped his arms around her waist, and buried his face in her neck. After a few sobs, he pulled his head up, and looked at her, his eyes not glowing at all, and his naturally albino red eyes staring deep into her own. Suddenly, they shifted to a deep blue, and back to red.
'Tell me everything will be alright?' he asked, burying his face into her collarbone, again.

Tilting her head so that she was resting her head against his, she tightened her grip on him, whispering into his ear, "It will be ok." She forced a smile on her lips as she continued to embrace him, taking a deep breath. Swallowing hard, she tilted her head down so that her face was facing his neck as well, fighting back tears. They were tears not just for the fact that she might not be able to give Krii the kind of legacy he wanted, but also for the child that she might not ever have. "It'll be ok," she whispered again, seemingly more for herself than for Krii at this point.

Kim became angry and vowed to answer this insult to a gentle man by spilling the blood of every gang member. Then she thought no as a small smile came across her lips and she would begin tomorrow for her plan to go into action. As for now master Po Mei was safe and his student would sacrifice himself before letting harm to his teacher.
So she continued her journey thru the streets and hailed a taxi which left her 3 blocks from the hotel/apartment and used the alleys to get to her rooms and then cleaned her weapons before beginning to make her plan more workable and clean.. she smiled even more for the gangs would not know what hit them.

Trickling his thoughts across the endless lake that was his mind, David's attention was more concentrated on escaping any chance that the Vampires would have a grasp on him. So, that is why he came here to the inner city of New York, a place controlled by mortals. Men and women who were under no control of the immortal species. A place he could use as a temporary "stay safe place."
With both hands shoved deep into his coat pockets, and his collar up, David's eyes sharply dances from every individual he saw, suspecting everyone he saw as possible enemies.
He was heading through the city for now, and going to a nearby all night restaurant that a close friend of his once owned, but was passed on to his successor. An individual who David had never really the palate to sit in company for too long. None the less, it was refuge from the Vampires for now, until they could catch wind of what he was planning.
- - - - - -
"So what brings you here, David?" said the voice in the other room.
"Do you want the truth or what's really going on?" David replied, grinning lightly.
"What's really going on of course." came back to him from the room.
"Hmm, I'll sum it up for you. To prevent myself from being destroyed for wanting to do a deed that would end up in either my own death or my salvation, I've come here to a part of the city that is more or less out of the reaches of the immortal races." he spoke, trying to seem funny.
"And this terrible deed is?" said the voice once more.
"A secret for now." replied David, watching as the voice finally came to sight, stepping from the back room door. Sarah McLockley was her name, and she hated David with her entire being.
"Secrets, secrets. You're full of them." she said, removing her apron and tossing it onto the nearby counter.
Avoiding both confrontation and the question, David changed subject. "So, not too busy these days, are you? I thought this was a twenty four - seven restaurant?"
"It is. It's just a slow night." she said, rather annoyed now.
Sitting in silence as Sarah cleaned behind the bar, David's eyes followed every movement she made for a while, and then sat back in the chair.
Sarah was the daughter of the late Ferv McLockley, a close friend of David, who had died of an apparent heart attack. Ferv was a immigrant from Ireland who David had helped put the restaurant-bar together. Ferv was human, along with his daughter, mortals to put it bluntly. Ferv had no problem when he had heard it from David years back, and even told his daughter when she was old enough to understand.
David had not aged even the slightest since they first met. He had no wrinkles, not a gray hair on his head. He remained young forever, while his friend Ferv, grew old and withered away. David envied his friend's mortality.
"David..." spoke Sarah, abruptly breaking the silence that dominated the room, and snapped him from his moment of memory.
"Mmm, yes?" he inquired.
"Do...do you have children? A wife even?" the question posed was a bit unusual, as she had never before asked such things.
Smiling, David responded "No. Not for a long time."
"Why not?" she asked again, cornering him into a real answer.
David paused, not speaking for a few minutes.
"I've never felt the love needed for it." he said, leaning back in the chair.
"Oh..." she replied, leaving the conversation there.
A half hour passed. David was relaxing in the chair, sleeping even. Sarah cleaned, had a drink and was reading a book behind the bar. Waking from his sleep, he looked at the time. [Hmm...two hours to sunrise.] he thought to himself, formulating new plans in his mind.
Standing from the chair, he made his way to Sarah and leaned against the bartop and grinned lightly.
"So, thanks for letting me make camp here, can you do me a favour?" he asked.
"Mmmm, fine. What is it?" he said in a regretful tone.
"These..." David spoke, removing a handful of notes from his coat and placing them on the counter "...I need you to put them in a safe place."
"Alright. I'll cram them in a safe. Anything else?" She mumbled out.
"Nah. That's alright. I'm going upstairs, dawn is approaching and I can see that customers will start pouring in any minute now." He chuckled, heading to the back room and up the stairs to the second floor. The place was basically a house above a restaurant.
Heading to the room that once was Sarah's, but now a guest room since Sarah moved into her father's room, David shut the drapes and locked the door to the room. He now had time to think.
"Two weeks until the day..." he whispered "...two weeks."

Krii'Ouse sobbed, and stopped. Hearing her say thinsgw ould be alright, somehow made things better. He lifted them into the air, and the two floated to the Krii'Vette. The doors of the chapel closed behind them, and the strange couple floated to the Vette.
Setting down in front of the car, it started. 'Let's go to Hunter's.' he suggested.

The next nite Kim went back into China Town and found the female gang members of the 'Red Dragons' at thier club house trying to figure out what had happened to the men. There was only 5 males left and they were visibly armed. Kim smiled and went to the outside box and pulled it from the club house; Then she went in.
The five males weren't her primary targets but she killed them all the same. She was fixed upon one of the females and rendered her unconsious with the 'Stunner' and left the club house. She took the girl to a deserted warehouse and waited for her to wake... the girl was disoriented and scared as she looked at where she was. "Cosey little place don't you agree" said Kim. The girl strained to see who had spoken but could only see shapes in the darkness. She was suddenly yanked to her feet and held there for a moment before letting her go to fall to her knees. "You belong to me now...your past affiliation with the 'Red Dragons' is done." "You will become my lieutenant....betray me in any way and you'll meet a fate worse than you can imagine."
With that Kim swooped down on the girl and tilted the girl's neck. Kim could feel the fear and it was intoxicating and then she bit. She drank in the heady emotion of fear and went farther by drinking her blood to where she would be weak but in no danger of dying. The link was there Kim could feel it and as the girl was pressed up against Kim she spun her around and dominated her by crushing her will and bending it to hers. Thus Kim laid the girl gently on the floor and let her fall into a deep sleep.

She nodded as she fastened her seatbelt in the Krii'vette, giving him a soft smile. "What ever you want to do love," she said with a smile, leaning over in her seat to lay her head on his shoulder. Just being this close to him somehow made things a little bit better.

Kim stayed with the girl the rest of the night except to get some food and drink for the girl would be hungry and thirsty when she awoke. When the girl woke up there was food and drink set before her and a voice from the darkness spoke. "Eat you must be famished and thirsty now... we have much to talk about and make our plans." Kim said nothing further but just sat and watched the girl eat and drink.
When the girl had finished Kim stepped out of the shadows and squated down before the girl..."you and I have a future together and it begins now." "You will stay here for the time being and go into training... I will have the equipment and such brought here.." "I must go and recruit four others to become my lieutenants as you are now."
Over the next few days Kim had bought the Warehouse under an assumed name, brought in dummies and other training equipment, food and storage bins for it; and last but not least four other girls... 1 a Korean, 1 a Viet Namese, 1 Japanese and 1 Thai. Each went thru the same process as Jung Yee did and each became linked to Kim...allowing her to know what each girl had in mind.
Thier first lesson was that there was no racial nor country biasis...that they were as sisters as would be the others as they were brought into the 'family'.. but first they must learn how to fight so they began to train together. Kim started them on 'Wing Chun' to get them to learn how to fight effectively close in where a man would have a hard time using his strengths. Thus began the birth of the "Ghost Shadows"

Kim left the girls one evening and came back much later carrying two clay pots and a branding iron. The first pot's paste was placed on the girls tattos or markings to remove them from thier skin and heal the area. Then each of the girls were branded with the symbol of the 'Ghost Shadows' at the nape of thier neck and the second pot's paste was used to help reduce the pain of the branding and promote healing
The girls practiced 8 hours daily on thier martial arts and another 10 hours on the pistol range and other skills the 6 hours remaing were for meals and sleep. And Kim had a continuos supply of psyhic energy to tap(a little at a time so as not to drain the girls to much).

Buckling himself up, he turned on the radio, and put in a CD. Flipping through the tracks he reached the one he wanted. As he put the car into drive, and headed down the streets of deep New York City, Aerosmith's I Don't Want To Miss a Thing poured through the speakers.

The next couple of days seemed to haze on by, slow and dreary, David's mind occupied with the matters to come. David had not kept track of days any longer, as even after the years went by, it became a tedious task to try and count the hours of eternity. He did not know what day it was of which week of whatever month it might happen to be, nor did he care any longer. After a millenia and a half, you tend to become apathetic over some things.
Tonight though, he left the empty room of the restaurant's upper floor. He left it the way it was when he first came. A room of solitude and loneliness and a room of memories distant from now.
To the streets he roamed, the full moon lighting his paths in the night.
He was hungry.

Alexz crouched over a limp body on a rooftop. The sun gleamed down on her back as she sucked the blood from the man's neck greedily. THis hunger was never satisfied and she had been feeding more often. As the man's memories rushed into her she pulled away her fangs and looked down at him.
She put her hands to her head, the taking of human lives always made her feel guilty. She had been used to living off of blood packs but she had used them all and she was forced to go to the mortals. Alexz couldn't do this, she couldn't take their lives every nigh. She would rather live in hunger.
