❆ ╔════════╗ ❆TABTABGenin TABTALevel: 10 TABTʜρ: 140/140 TABTϹρ: 160/160 TADѳɗɢє βѳɳus: 16❆ ╚════════╝ ❆After running away from his sensei and Hiru, he thought he was far enough away to begin his training. He missed what his sensei had said though as he ran. He wasn't paying too much attention to it. With sword in hand he looked out at the area around him, and decided he would get started right away. First he would work on the force of his swings. The more power, the more damage to be dealt. He didn't want to use his sword to cut at wood, but what choice did he have? He wasn't in a training ground or anything softer to cut. He would just have to sharpen it later. He moved to a tree and raised the sword to a fighting stance. He gave a swift cut to the trunk, giving it a rather large cut.
Loosening himself up a bit, he raised the sword again. He was focused on power and force more so than style and combos at this point in time. He would take it one swing at a time and give his all to each swing. He closed his eyes and took a deep, relaxing breath. He envisioned himself slicing into the tree and brought his sword down on it. The blade hit the trunk and glanced off it. He cursed as the blade found it's way to the ground and the tip sunk into the earth. He pulled the sword up and returned to his stance. Focus... if you want each strike to count, you must keep your concentration and focus on the target. Swing with all the force you have. Cut deep, and cut true... cut deep...

He lunged forward, plunging the tip of the blade into the trunk of the tree. It only went so far before it got stuck in the wood. He pulled the blade out and looked at the hole. It was nothing impressive, he didn't even please himself with the power of his lunges. It was evident that he had some serious work ahead of him, but he knew it would get done and he would be a fine swordsman. I need to get stronger like Hiru-sama so I can hold one of those swords some day! I will have one, and I will bring honor to my name!
It was all he ever wanted. Honor. After everything that happened, that was all that mattered. He didn't want to be looked at as causing harm to the people of Kiri. In fact, he wanted to protect this place, and he would need something when his jutsu failed him. He lunged forward again, using his new resolve to fuel his power. The blade went further into the tree, but still nothing of extreme damage. He sighed as he looked at the tree imagining taking his sword and cleaving the tree clear off it's stump. Ha! Like someone can do something like that...

❆ ╔════════╗ ❆TABTABGenin TABTALevel: 10 TABTʜρ: 140/140 TABTϹρ: 160/160 TADѳɗɢє βѳɳus: 16❆ ╚════════╝ ❆He aimed at the tree again, wishing that it was as simple as snapping your fingers and then you were strong. He lunged the sword forward and completely missed the tree. How do I miss a tree that doesn't move? Great, I must be pretty pathetic if I can pull a stunt like that off. He sighed as he rotated his shoulders and loosened his arms and other joints. He had o admit though, it felt good to get back into training. All this 'doing nothing' was rather dull and boring. Who cared what the rest of the Fubuki were doing. He was a ninja now, why should he care so much about politics? All he needed to worry about was the safety of the village. He looked at his sword and swung it around a few times, feeling the weight flow in his hands.
He aimed at the tree and pushed his sword into the tree again. The wakizashi was a piercing weapon, following in the shadow of it's predecessor, the katana. He could slash at others with it, though it wouldn't be quite as effective. After all, he did kill a man that way, so what did it matter which way he swung the sword? He pulled the sword free from the trunk and looked at the shining metal. I killed a man... no one else cared so much about him than me... and I killed him. What a foolish boy, throwing his life away from something so... He couldn't say meaningless. If he said love was meaningless, what else did people have to live for?
He thrusted the sword into the wood, making a twang as it lodged itself into the tree. He left the sword sitting parallel with the ground as he turned away from it. How could he expect to kill others, when he couldn't get over the fact of this one man? He sighed as he pulled the sword free from the trunk. He looked at it, imagining the blood of another man on it. No... stop thinking this way. Others you will kill will mean to harm innocent lives. No more will you kill others who have done nothing wrong. He stole from others and attempted to kill us as well. Get over it and move on. You have some training to do.

For now all he could hope was to become better and maybe save the next person he came across. He hope that when it came down to it, he could do it. He planted his foot and lunged at the tree, but the blade glance off, doing little damage to it. He sighed as he resituated himself, preparing for another swing at the tree. He closed his eyes, Clear your mind of thoughts. Concentrate on nothing but the tree, your sword, and your arm.
After taking a deep breath he concentrated on the tree and thrusted his arm forward, sending the tip of the blade into the tree, about a good inch. It wasn't quite what he wanted, but it was enough for him. A tree was much harder than a human being. With this amount of force, he'd be able to do some damage, though not enough to kill. Not quite yet at least. He wondered if he'd be able to cut bone... he doubted it. He pulled the tip from the tree and inspected it. He would need to get it sharpened, but it was still in good enough condition to train. He began to wonder what he would work on once he finished this training...

He lost his footing and his head collided with the trunk. He dropped his sword due to the impact and fell back on his a**. He rubbed his forehead, Damn it... now I probably have a huge red mark on my forehead and I'll look ridiculous. With his luck it would turn into a bruise and make him look even weirder. He continued rubbing it until it felt somewhat better.
He picked up his wakizashi and switched it between his hands and then looking at the tree. Maybe if I pretend it's a person I would like to kill, then maybe I will learn to swing harder. He tried to think of anyone he would want to kill. Sadly no one came to mind, and he was forced to continue on hitting the tree as he had been. He thrusted the sword forward and went to strike the tree as hard as he could. His grip wasn't tight enough and the blade slipped out of his hand as it made contact with the tree. It fell to the ground once again. I hope it's not bad luck to drop a sword. That's just what I need... more bad luck.

He was hardly done with his training and needed to keep at it if he wanted to be stronger. He readied the blade, holding it up into the air in front of his face. He hovered his hand over the blade before lunging at the trunk of the tree with as much force as he could muster. The tip of the blade entered the tree a couple inches. He gave the sword a tug and freed it from the trunk. He closed his eyes and returned to his stance, focusing on his next strike.
He opened his eyes and went to strike the tree, however, his strike glanced off the tree and planted itself in the dirt. He sighed as he pulled it out of the soft ground and cleaned the dirt off onto the grass. He looked at his clothes and noticed they were a little dirty. Why do I always wear white if I'm afraid of getting dirty? He thought about it for a moment before deciding that he liked the color white and thought it was more him than any other color. Even blues weren't that good looking on him. He shook his head, "I'm sword training and here I am worrying about clothing..."

椿百合子 Tsubaki Yuriko Hp: 630 / 630 Cp: 840 / 840 MHp: 780 / 780"Anything interesting?" Hiru asked. She paused to think for a moment, "Well the only thing I've come up with recently was Genjutsu: Koiwazurai." she told him. She didn't think much of it, it was just a little aid for getting people to talk. With its use, a person would slowly come to believe that they had feelings of love for Yuriko and would thus be less resistant about giving her information. "I could show you Sharky-kun but I don't know if you can handle me." she told him. "Otherwise I've been working on learning some techniques to make me a better sensei... Most of the things that I know are too difficult for my boys." she added. She knew that they would be incapable of learning Shouton, and none of them seemed to have an aptitude for Genjutsu, which left her with Ninjutsu, Taijutsu, and Kenjutsu. Of those three she only knew a little Suiton, and a Doton technique.

"You never were one to go for the easy stuff!", Hiru answered, remembering how his old academy partner always looked down a bit on students who "wasted their time" learning low level techniques. "Maybe you could teach them something a bit more basic like the body flicker technique, they could all learn them no matter their affinity!", he suggested, hoping to prove useful. "I could assist if you need help watching over some of their training, I've got some time before I'm deployed again", he concluded, somewaht exasperated at the idea of being sent out once more only a few days after getting back from a week long campaign in Amegakure.

Shinzu Akara Chuunin Hp: 240 Cp: 180 MHp: 225
"Hiru!" Shinzu called out as he ran up towards his old friend. "It's been forever man! How have you been?" He asked, actually feeling rather excited. "I'm a Chuunin now! Were you here for the Exam?" He asked excitably. It had been a while since he had seen him, several months or more, if he could recall correctly.

Hiru's attention was quickly diverted by the sound of a somewhat familiar voice coming from behind. As he turned around, he noticed someone he remembered as a genin from a while back, Shinzu Akara. "Hey Shinzu!", he answered with a smile. "It's been a while! Congratulations on making Chuunin! So sorry I couldn't be here for the event!", he added with undoubtable honesty. "Glad to see you're also wearing your Kiri vest, so few of us opt to wear it these days...", he noted somewhat candidly.
"What have you been up to recently? I've been away for so long it's like I'm missing everything important around here!", he asked, somewhat irritated that it seemed he was missing all the important events in his fellow shinobi's lives because of these incessant assignments.

Shinzu shrugged. "You really haven't missed all that much." He said with a smile. "Things have been pretty quite since the Umi attack, besides those Kama guys, but I'm sure you'd know more about that then I would." He looked off into the grove for minute. "What's the news on the outside world? Surely you must know something Hiru." He said as he looked back at his friend, his curiosity of the outside world evident.

Hiru was actually away for most of that Kama incident, he had seen brief reports on the matter at best. Still, even though he was in the presence of a fellow Kiri shinobi, he couldn't go into all the details on the reasons for his prolonged absence since his last mission was still qualified as grade 2 confidential. "Yeah I did hear something about that attack... Heard you got some attention for your help !", he answered, having noticed Shinzu's name pop up in some reports, meaning he had drawn interest from some of the higher ups. "As for what's going on in the outside world, things are pretty calm all over. If anything's going on in particular it's all out of sight, so at least regular people don't get involved.", he added.
Wanting to see if what he had read in Special Projects files was true, but not wanting to give away secret information, Hiru subtly asked Shinzu, "Have you heard anything from Mizukage-sama about a potential debriefing following the Kama attacks? Heard there might be some assignments coming up in that regard...". Hiru knew full well that any potential summons would have concerned something completely different, but hoped Shinzu wouldn't notice.

Oh well. It was time to do something else.... and more often than not, when it came down to Batsu 'training' then that meant the boy was reading something. This proved to be the case when the boy pulled out a book from his bag, walked over to the nearest tree, and took a seat in the shade. The books cover read "An Advanced Readers Guide to Toxicology" The boy wasted no time cracking the book open and started to read. Shinzu Akara Chuunin Hp: 240 Cp: 180 MHp: 225
Shinzu sat in the tree, swinging his legs beneath him as he waited for Batsu to show up for their spar. Really this was the first time since they had become Chuunin that they had decided to do this. He knew Batsu had been hard at work at that time, but Shinzu had not. He'd really wandered around a bit since the Exam, doing odd job missions, and thinking of applying to the Kiri Military Police Force, but not really taking the time to actually do so. "What's taking him?" He said to himself as he waited.

He had just finished his paperwork among other traditional medical work. Oddly enough, though, Batsu couldn't wait to see his friend and fellow squad member. It had been a while since the two had met and done anything. He missed sparring and training with Shinzu but post-exam he was taken under Mayumi-senpai's wing and eventually began working full time at the hospital, so he had very little downtime. Batsu walked through the grove and quickly spotted Shinzu. He walked toward the other and gave a polite wave. "Ahoy Shinzu!" D: 45 | F: 10 | R: 23 |W: 21
