"Didn't feel cold while I was out there." Lily told him, leaning her cheek into his palm. "And at least I wore shoes. I'm keeping my promise." she told him, sounding almost anxious. "Don't be mad."

"Onee-chan, I'm tired...." ROse said, crawling over to Kaen and cuddling against her.
"I can see that, little one," she said, kissing Rose's forehead. "YOu want me to carry you up?"
Rose nodded sleepily, then snuggled more against Kaen.
"Alright," she said, shifting her hold on ROse. "I'll be right back. I'm gonna put her to bed." She grabbed Rose's bear and went up the stairs to place the girl in Kaen's bed. "I'll cuddle with you when I come up to bed, alright honey?" She kissed Rose again and tucked her in before heading downstairs again.

Tomo smiled and waved to Rose as she went upstairs. "Can't wait to have one of my own." He murmured, wrapping his tail around one of the barstool rungs.

Lily's ears flopped, and she looked rather miserable. "Fine..." she whispered, then sighed. "I would have put on jeans, but...I just...I had to go, right then."

"You know Tomo's here we could have him take a look at you," Arlen said taking Lily's hands in his, warming them up, looking at Lily worriedly.

Kaen went over to sit by Tomo, stretching her arms above her head. "It's times like this, when I'm taking care of Rose, that I start to think I won't do too bad with my own."

Tomo laughed and shook his head as he stood, walking over towards Lily. "I give the two of you more check-ups than anyone." He said, closing his eyes to do a body check, "And you'll be a spectacular mother, Kaen." He added, sending his magical eye through Lily. "Everything seems okay." He announced, opening his eyes when he had finished.

"Told you." Lily told Arlen, sticking out her tongue at Arlen. "Thank you Mister Tomo, and sorry for having you do it so often." she added, looking slightly sheepish. "You're just the only one I know who does healing magic. Even Vincent only does potions."
