Sakazuki raised a brow as the need for a pot arose. "A pot...?" She repeated in a dumbfounded tone as she brought a hand to her chin, taking a thinking pose. "I have o-..." She cut off mid sentence as she thought on her words. The said pot, or rather, cauldron was one she often had on hand, sealed away via magical spell. While she would've conjured it up without a second doubt, she remembered: the last time that she had used it was when she had made the potion had told about Lieselotte earlier... And knowing her forgetful nature, chances were that the pot had not been properly cleaned yet either.
"...Nevermind!"
==========
"If all else fails, you can just make one, right? Like how you did with the log..."
The lines were directed towards Mei as the illusionist stared at the cowgirl for a moment, a rather hopeful expression on her face before she soon turned back to face the fire, her arms crossed before her chest once more as she got to thinking other possibilities; if Mei couldn't make them a pot, they'd have to compensate somehow. Perhaps they could cut up that gourd...? No. It's owner probably wouldn't take well to that, even if she claimed to have her own pot on hand right now.

.:Zetsumei Tsukaite:. As Kain spoke, Zetsu withdrew his blades completely from their sheathes. Zetsumei flipped his blades to the flat causing a metal shifting sound. With both his blades now drawn, he began to mimic his opponents movement; circling the area, with light, graceful movements. He moved in this way so that when the time comes to strike or defend, the movement will be swift and direct. Even if they were simply tagging each other with the flats of their blades Zetsumei would still move as if it were real. "I give no advice," Zetsumei said readied his stance, which was both an offensive and defensive stance. One blade in front, with the other behind his back; Zetsu tensed up a little in his feet to get ready for a swift burst if his opponent broke the circular movement before he did. The moonlight had completely covered the area, as a result death eaters naturally emit a black aura from their bodies. As he circled, on the opposite side, his opponent, his body would begin to glow an even dark aura. Zetsumei had somewhat of a secrete, his armor made it look as if he had four eyes; because he was created with this armor he developed with this armor. So since the armor had four eyes, he did as well. The to pairs moved opposite of each other allowing Zetsumei to be completely aware of his surroundings and incoming attacks."We can dance like this until sun rise Kain; or we can make this dance a bit more interesting." Zetsumei said as he continued his movements and kept his stance.

:: Kain Harvey :: "Kid, I said to quell the aura..." Kain's tachi sword, Kotetsu, lashed out in a forward stab, his footwork following it, the flat of the blade aimed at Zetsu's right shoulder. Unlike Zetsu, Kain maintained control over his own aura, keeping it within his own armor, not allowing it to affect the surrounding environment, as it drew attention to himself. There was also the fact that a constantly emitting aura would not only strengthen Zetsu, but his opponent Kain; who aslo relied in darkness for his strength. As the aura was also a form of jutsu, it was also against the protocol he'd let for a reason. The main factor in this would be not strengthening an opponent further, as Kain's already strong body would easily be enhanced beyond what Zetsu would expect. His second sword arced down in a partial tilt, protecting his heart and stomach, a traditional counter gambit; his positioning ready to slash in order to knock the opponent's dual swords away should the opponent indeed counter as expected. 'It's all a matter of leading the dance, gaining control and controlling my partner's actions. He loses sight of his own strategies in the dance and is forced to succumb to my own, and then I alter the dance beyond what he can adjust to... It is then that he falls, and I take my victory.' .:Zetsumei Tsukaite:. "I prefer the aura." Zetsumei responded as he swiftly side stepped to the left avoid the forward thrust attack. As he did, Zetsumei quickly used the flat of one of his blades and made a quick diagonal slash, aiming for Kain's leg. He was opposite of the arm that had tried to strike him. With his other katana, Zetsumei readied it in front of his chest, but it was angled so that it covered him from his neck to his waist; making it easier to push away any attack. "So, where are you headed after this place?"97+1089= 1186

:: Kain Harvey :: Flipping Kiku-Ichimonji into a looped downward slash which would hook upwards within the slash; like the shape of a fishhook; Kain deflected his opponents counter and skipped backwards; as his hand with Kotetsu launched out a folded in Windmill Shuriken; folded in so that there was no edge in order to preserve the spar; aiming said shuriken towards Zetsumei's stomach as Kotetsu struck against the opponent's guarding blade. A clever gambit, his prior move; he had stated no Jutsu, but never stated a specific choice in weaponry. With one of his opponent's blades knocked aside and the other locked with Kotetsu, launching a folded in shuriken from his gauntlet extended his attack range and allowed him to bypass standard defenses if they were occupied. Kiku-Ichimonji lashed inwards to return to its guard position as Kain parted the blades, pausing a moment to see if the strike had made contact with his opponent; which would put him at one hit to zero in his favor; "The aura is a brand, do not bring unnecessary attention to yourself; it attracts enemies. Where I go should not matter to you, what matters are events at this very moment." Kotetsu regained its position over Eluamous's head, his feet reaffirming their root as he prepared for the next bout of bladed strikes. .:Zetsumei Tsukaite:. As his blade was knocked off balance, it wouldn't effect Zetsumei entirely to much, in fact, he used the motion to bend his body backwards enough to dodge the windmill shuriken that had been thrown at him. But of curse, trying to resume the upright position from that position would be difficult, so Zetsu improvised and performed a backwards somersault to regain his foot hold. He repositioned his swords back to to how he had the before; except he put one of his blades back into its sheathe. Zetsumei reached behind him and revealed a handful of kunai; one between each of his fingers in one of his hands, though they were backwards so not to harm Kain. With a swift swing of his arm, the four kunai would be flung at Kain. And because they all were thrown from slightly different angles within the swing, they would scatter but still remain directed at different parts of Kains body. Resulting in a hard to dodge barrage of blunt-sided kunai aiming for Kain's left thigh, right shoulder, right knee, and left ankle. " Well I thought we could have partnered up. But if you prefer that way, then do as you must." Zetsumei said as he waited to see if his attack was a success. As he waited he withdrew his other katana and resumed his stance with one blade in front and one behind.

:: Kain Harvey :: Spinning Kotetsu within a quick arc; the blade was dropped into his sheath as his dark shield twirled into his hand, the shield catching three of the Kunai as Kiku-Ichimonji deflected the fourth. Plucking the Kunai out of his shield, the Dark Knight grinned for a moment, "Hm, the kid's got guts; asking a complete stranger for an alliance. You were quick to pick up on that little gambit. But you forgot about one little thing." A heavy breathing could be heard behind Zetsu as a patch of saliva dripped down onto the young Death Eater, sending Kain into a fit of laughter for a moment; "Sooba! Damnit, you didn't have to freak the kid out THAT much! Heh... meet my companion Sooba, a Shadow Beast. These babies won't listen to just anyone, you need a lot of darkness in you to control them; otherwise they run rampant and attack their owner. Longest I've seen someone without evil in their power was about twenty or so minutes... Lesson here; always watch your surroundings in addition to your opponent. Had Sooba actually been told to kill you, you wouldn't have a head at this moment." Extending out his sword as a manner of ending the spar, tradition being for the opponent to strike his blade with their own followed by a bow of respect and thanks for the duel; afterwhich both would sheath their blades simultaneously and bow once more. Honehime frowned slightly, her hands slowly moving to a folded position in her lap as she tried to think of a solution. Even though she had lived off the land for quite some time, she didn't have a pot. She hadn't felt the need for one, she had primarily lived on water and berries. Occasionally she'd have some nuts or herbs, and she allowed herself some of her jerky no more than once a week. She generally tried to eat things that wouldn't have a high number of complex carbohydrates or anything else like that, things that would require extra energy to break down, or that would possibly have an undue effect upon the certain things she'd ingest in regards to her vision seeking. So she'd never had need of a pot, and she'd never thought she'd be camping out with other people, either. An oversight, and considering she took some small measure of pride in her role as a seeker, one she would berate herself for later. For now, she would just do what she could to affect a more physical solution. (6893 words + 183 words = 7076 words) Lieselote turned back to glance at Sakazuki when the Circe started to say she had a pot, then quickly recanted her statement. Considering how bold she had spoken before, something was a little off. But what? Normally, from what Sakazuki had said before, she'd think she would be all too happy to expose everyone to anything dangerous or amusing. So if even she was proving hesitant, it must truly be something dangerous. In that case, she better not try to get her to use her cauldron, the risks would likely be far too dangerous for her liking. They could just go hungry, rather than risk whatever it was about that cauldron that had Sakazuki so hesitant. (7743 words + 116 words = 7859 words) Mei scrunched up her face in a cute frown as she tried to think of something to do. When Shuku asked if she could make a pot, she paused to reconsider. It certainly wouldn't be easy, but would it be possible? If they had metal she could use, reshaping it wouldn't be impossible. It would just be very difficult, but probably possible. If they didn't have metal she could use, it would be a lot more complicated. Probably the second most complicated transmutation she ever would have done. The first, of course, was the one that she hadn't actually performed successfully. Her own. The transmutation, the one she hadn't even fully understood, the one that had turned her into what she was now, with all of it's changes and peculiarities. That being said, she tried not to let the fear of messing up again throw her off, if that was the only way they would eat tonight, she'd try it. It was just an outside, material transmutation, even if it went wrong, it couldn't go that wrong, could it? Then she looked up at one of the girls who'd just returned to camp. She didn't know why she had stopped talking, but she had said she had a pot, didn't she? "Do you have a pot? Can't we use that?" If she had a pot, they should just use that. Surely, it was a lot less of a risk than anything else they could try, right? So why not use it? She nodded, as if urging Sakazuki to agree, so they could hurry up and get their meal started. As if to further prove her point, her stomach gave a slight but still audible rumble. She blushed a little, looking embarrassed. If anyone thought about it, it'd be all too obvious, but she had yet to figure out just why she got hungrier than the average person, nor why she usually ate more than anyone she knew, either. Luckily, she didn't seem to put any weight on, unless you counted her chest. After all, all that milk had to come from somewhere, didn't it? (4767 words + 353 words = 5120 words)

.:Zetsumei Tsukaite:. "Disgusting." Zetsumei said as the saliva dripped down onto his shoulder. A sheathed his katana and pulled a black handkerchief from out of nowhere and wiped the saliva off of his shoulder plate. He looked over at his fellow Death Eater and spoke," Me, beheaded by this. I doubt it. Maybe scratched though." Zetsumei then leaped high into the air and onto the stadium wall. He was now taking his leave from this wretched training facility. He figured he had a much greater cause; after all he couldn't have been created for no reason. And to have the powers of those who can take souls, Zetsumei knew he played a great part in something. "I believe I have trained enough. Now to seek out the rest of us." Zetsumei said to himself as he seemed to vanish with the shifting night.

:: Kain Harvey :: And with that, the kid was gone without another word. Pity, he had been an interesting break in the monotony of this new world. Patting the mane of the shadow beast, Kain gave another chuckle as he mounted the shadow beast, which appeared to be a cross between a lion and a warthog; its body and mane housing that of a lion; but its snout-like nose and tusks certainly not a lion's. Either way, Sooba was a brilliant mount which had served Kain for most of his life; "Hm.... I suppose I could follow this kid, even if it is out of boredom. What do you think?" The shadow beast grunted without another word; unlike summon spirits it count not talk. "Yeah, I agree, too much of a hassle. He might take pride in his aura now, but unless he learns to restrain it, he's going to attract a mob sooner or later.......Oy, damnit; I really hate playing the rescuer role; but someone needs to keep tabs and make sure this kid doesnt get himself killed." The beast grunted again, and Kain kicked it in the shins as a warning; "I'm going to pretend I didn't pretend to hear that. C'mon you fat tub of lard, you need to exercise anyway. five hundred years without doing anything; you put on weight since I last saw you!" The beast make a chanting-like sound for a roar, shaking its body to flex the muscles before it too leaped over the wall; in hot pursuit of Zetsumei's trail. "I guess..."
If no one had a pot or anything to substitute, then the Circe really had no choice. She'd certainly pick magical side affects over starving. With that, the Circe waved one hand, a finger extended as she twirled it in a small circle, her eyes closing as she uttered a short string of words. Nearly a moment later, there was a loud poof! sound followed by a clatter of something heavy and metal clattering against the forest floor. Turning towards the conjured cauldron, as well as it's stand (which landed several feet away), Sakazuki walked towards it, peeking into the pot-like dish for several long moments. It looked clean - spotless, in fact... But the Circe knew that several sediments left over from her last concoction had left an invisible layer somewhere along the pot... But at this point, Sakazuki could only hope that the heat and the water would be enough to make it deteriorate, though she remained doubtful.
======
Shuku stared at the pot for a moment before she shrugged. Nothing looked wrong with it... Why the girl was so hesitant to use it made the woman frown, but she really wasn't in the mood to think much into it. Her stomach was beginning to growl.. And to keep it waiting any longer seemed somewhat dangerous to the Mayonaka as she got to her feet, stretching briefly before she knelt down to grab the stand, then turning back towards the fire. "...Honehime, fetch the water," she mumbled as her eyes darted towards the gourd.

 Honehime looked up as everyone had apparently reached a decision. The girl did indeed have a pot, or cauldron rather, though she seemed reluctant to use it. She didn't feel any of the normal sensations that came before a vision, nor any portents made their appearance known. So she had no reason to think anything dangerous would happen. When Shuku told her to go get the gourd of water, she nodded, before getting to her feet and walking over to it. She looked at Sakazuki along the way, silently asking if she had the Circe's permission to move her gourd. After all, it was hers. If nothing else, there would undoubtedly be a river somewhere relatively nearby, if they could find it. (7076 words + 123 words = 7199 words) Lieselotte watched as the others convinced Sakazuki to use her pot, unable to speak up with a valid reason not to do so. She watched with a growing sense of looming disaster as the Circe did a small act of seeming magic, making her cauldron and stand appear from nowhere. Interesting magic, but she had bigger problems to worry about! Whatever was connected to that cauldron that had Sakazuki nervous, it was something she really didn't want to find out. But it looked like she wouldn't have a choice in the matter. Even at this point, if she were to not eat, it would be suspicious, and she didn't absolutely know that there was something dangerous about the cauldron. Even so, she still knew. (7859 words + 124 words = 7983 words) Mei smiled happily when she saw the cauldron appear. she didn't know how it had happened, but it was certainly something! She knew it wasn't alchemy, and she had yet to learn about storing things in scrolls. That left only one solution. Magic! She hadn't known Sakazuki was a witch before, but now she would likely figure it out. Eventually. But first, she moved to help Sakazuki set the cauldron up over the fire, lining the stand up first. At the same time, she started thinking about what the plan was for their supper. Everyone seemed to agree, a stew was the way to go. They had water, meat and herbs, which were almost veggies. But it seemed the stew could use a little bit more of something. But what? Then she realized what it was. blushing a little, she tried to figure out who would be in charge of the actual cooking. She was willing to help, and oblivious to a lot of the social norms, but even so, she was a little too embarrassed to just announce to everyone that she could donate some milk to the stew, if they wanted. Kuroshika abandoned his reconstruction of the blade for the moment instead moving over to where they were setting up the large cauldron. He'd made some progress at least he thought he had, it was like putting together a complex puzzle and if he hadn't made any grave errors he'd already arranged about half of the blade. He had some use when it came to cooking, another one of his pretty much useless talents at least in the Shinobi world. He found himself standing next to Mei with a similar contemplative expression on both of their faces. Kuroshika was also trying to figure out how to go about setting this meal up, he wasn't used to taking the lead in situations like this so he was hesitant to make any decisions on his own. He saw a tiny glimmer and shift in Mei as if she had come to some sort of epifany of some sort. "Uhmmm..." what he had meant to say was to ask if Mei had come with any ideas, but of course he couldn't really bring himself to ask that, even if it was just an inocuous question he would have trouble framing it right and he didn't want to say anything awkward as he was prone too. He simply shook his head and let his thoughts return to what he could possibly to help, or at least for someone to give him some sort of task. He hated to be idle really for too long even though he did enjoy peace and quiet something inside of him wanted more.

Sakazuki gave a glance towards Honehime, then her gourd before tilting her head in the direction of the water carrier, giving silent permission as she gave a sigh. "Just don't hurt yourself trying to lift it!" she called, her voice lacking it's average cheeriness, a sure sign of worry and doubt within the witch. Several seconds later however, her eyes fell upon the cowgirl as she stepped forward to assist, thus forcing her to shake off her uncertainty as she turned towards the gifted figure. "...Something bothering you... Mei, was it?" She inquired as she made sure she was directly in front of the chimera girl, though she was wary on staying chest out of range of the breasts' vice grip zone as she managed a smile, though her gaze moved towards the male as the 'Uhmmmm' seemed to come forth shortly after the Circe had uttered her own phrase.
=====
While Honehime got to work on retrieving the gourd, Shuku sorted the nuts and herbs, separating the clean from the dirty and the usable from the unusable. Once her pile was complete, she looked towards the cauldron. "Hurry with the water, Honehime!" She called, looking back as the metal already began to grow hot. She wanted to boil water, not burn metal... But for that, she needed to wait for the water to arrive as she then, as if to occupy herself until the liquid arrived, set her sites on the rabbit as she grabbed it, dusting off the corpse before sighing.
...Almost time to cut you up, little buddy.
