*ੈ✩‧₊˚༺☆༻*ੈ✩‧₊˚Thankfully it seemed Clover didn't mind how little Anaís spoke which was certainly fine with her. She merely nodded to show she was listening as the other girl described watching the scenery on the train (it really was lovely) before asking if she was excited for their new classes. "I like Astronomy and Herbology best because they're outside, so I guess those?" she replied, half cautiously. Astronomy was a given as she enjoyed observing the stars and her insomnia made it easy to stay awake and study for the class. She actually wasn't that good in Herbology if she was being honest, but Anaís loved being in nature and dirt so she made the best out of it. As for the others, she didn't really have strong feelings about them, except maybe Transfiguration. She felt bad for the beetles they had to transfigure even though she knew they didn't feel pain, poor things. Making friends was hard, she never knew if she was saying the right things!
As they got closer to the train, Clover suddenly stopped and causing Anaís to stumble as to not run into her. Her eyes widened in visible surprise as the other girl asked if she wanted to be friends. Maybe making friends was allot easier than she first thought! "I'm not much better," she answered with a small grin. "But I do want to be your friend if you'd want to."

Kasamir Aloysius Patrovna Slytherin │ Sixth Year │ Sixteen Years Old │ Single │ Chess Grandmaster │ Slytherin Prefect │ Adventurer's Guild & Chess Club Captain
Walking along the concourse of the great rail terminus, Kasamir was looking forward not just to the start of school but seeing his Krasivy Vechernyaya Zvezda. It pained him much he could not have taken her to St. Petersburg to meet the rest of his family, though in hindsight it might have been kinder that she hadn’t accompanied him, considering how he nearly bled himself white rescuing his little cousin, Natalya. Having only some pictures of her to show around to Baba and his cousins just wasn’t the same as having her on his arm. More than that, he felt as though a piece of him was missing when she was absent.
One advantage to living with Reyna and Sergei in Surrey was that they didn’t have far to go to get to the train station, especially since he needed to transport his massive canine sidekick, along with his young cousin who’d been made his responsibility in the blood soaked aftermath of her abduction by a cannibalistic dark witch who greatly resembled the hags of Russian mythology. As it was, he was pulling along his school trunk behind him, to which the case containing his broomstick and the bag he took to matches were securely affixed, while Medved padded along at his side as was usual.
Kasamir cut an impressive figure, wearing a long black military style coat over a pair of black dress trousers, a dark gray dress shirt with his House tie, a pinstriped vest with his Prefect badge held on with rare earth magnets and a pair of black wingtip dress shoes. Tucked in his vest pocket was a pack of blood pops for Hes, as he recalled last year’s departure day was quite stressful for her, and there was a gift in a box in his coat pocket he’d found in a curio shop during his trip to Madrid.
Walking a bit behind him were the rest of the family who came to the station with him. Sadly, Tetya Faina couldn’t make the trip, and Tetya Katya had only time to drop Alynn off at her mother’s house before needing to depart for St. Mungo’s, while Tetya Reyna stayed home as she was ill again, so it was Sergei who was pulling an appliance dolly with Natalya’s trunk, as the neophyte witch walked along with the Third Year Gryffindor.
As he was looking around the crowded platform, Medved let out an excited bark and pulled at the leash attaching him to Kasamir, and the Sixth Year quickly picked out Hes among the well-wishers and returning students. As they shifted course and got closer, Kas was concerned when he saw Hes’ arm in a sling, while a small child was ensconced in her other arm, while an older couple were with her. When he got close enough, he said to her, “Hes, moya prekrasnaya Vechernyaya Zvezda, you don’t know how happy I am to see you again. He gave her a gentle, chaste kiss upon her cheek, before turning his attention to her grandparents. He gave them a bow of respect, and said to them in a formal tone, “Kyrie kai Cyria Argyri, einai khara kai time mou na sas gnoriso epitelous.”

Iana was perpetually wavering on her excitement levels for school. Charlotte and Eddie seemed to have a lot of fun, but they also hadn't mentioned much that would serve to benefit Iana's worries. She knew it was a large castle, squished full of people, plus an expansive outdoors area, which held classes dealing with plants and animals. All of it sounded very messy, which meant that it was nothing Iana wanted part of. She was even required to take Herbology, meaning a whole class where she was supposed to get dirty! Thankfully, her parents knew of her issues, even going so far as to get her longer gloves and a nice smock to wear during the class. All the others on her First Year schedule seemed pretty nice, or at least they did from the books she'd perused over the summer.
On the morning of September First, the eleven year old got herself dressed and ready, before eating breakfast with the family. Even uncle Connor was there, as he often came along to wave goodbyes on the platform. After they ate, the group apparated onto the platform, then walked to a slightly less crowded area. Iana looked around, her fingers nervously fidgeting. "Mmm.... nope. I don't like it. I don't want to stay, please. Dad, surely you guys can just... tutor me at home? It's too busy. Too busy." She shook her head, nerves clearly getting the best of her. "No, sweetheart, we can't tutor you at home. Don't worry, though. You will really like Hogwarts. I already sent a letter to the Deputy Headmistress about your concerns and she assured me they would do everything to make sure your area was extra clean." Colton said, squatting down beside his third-eldest. She was still looking rather nervous, a little shake in her limbs.
"Iana, do not worry. Charlotte and I are also going to be at school. Plus I happen to know that the House Elves are exceptionally good at keeping things clean. And I can make certain to help you stay safe too." Colton ruffled Eddie's hair as he tried to offer up assistance, causing the teen to huff softly and work on fixing his tresses. "I'm still not sure. What if I have really messy roommates? Or someone is sick near me!? Or what if the food is not properly organized?!" The blonde was getting herself worked up, earning a few looks. Thankfully, Eddie knew what to do. "If you and your roommates do not get along well, you can request a change of room. And sick people go to the Hospital Wing, where the Healers fix them right up. For dinner, you get to make your own plate, so you can make sure nothing is touching. And I packed extra hand sanitizer and soap sheets, plus I can teach you the clean-up charm first thing." It seemed to work, with the girl calming down a bit. Connor offered over a plushie dog, which was a fluffy st. bernard with a camera around his neck in lieu of a barrel. "You can give them a hug too, I made sure he's freshly cleaned as well."
Iana gave the stuffie a squeeze, cautiously eyeing the train. "I think... if I get worried, can I come home then? Or do I have to stick it out until Winter Holidays?" Of course, she knew she'd be there, but maybe she just needed some reassurance. "It's until Winter, but we'll all come visit you guys on Quidditch Games. You can always send us letters home as well, and we'll respond as fast as we can go. Your older Sister and Brother are both there, so if you need any help, you just have to go find them. I know you can do it, even if it's worrisome." Dad offered, and she nodded again, before hesitantly reaching over to hold Eddie's hand. Maybe she could just sit between him and Charlotte the whole ride.... even if she didn't know that Eddie's new job would prevent that one.
The little group all said their goodbyes, before the parents (and uncle Connor) had to go, since baby Connor was getting upset with all the noise. Eddie led Iana over to another quiet-ish area, hoping it would keep her a bit more calm before they left off.
Natalya 'Talya' Stepanovich Patrovna Unsorted │ First Year │ Eleven Years Old │ Single
When the big Russian Blue let out a long pitiful meow, Natalya told him, “Ya znaio, cack te sebya chuvstvuyesh, Serebro. Zdes slishkom gromko you slishkom mnogo narodu.” The young witch stared about at the swirling crowd wide-eyed as she tried to follow her older cousin and the dog at his side. Though she worked hard to improve her English over the summer, with Kasamir as her tutor, it was all too easy and comfortable for her to slip back into Russian. “Mne tozhe khochetsya vernutsya domoi.”
Accustomed to riding on the wide-open steppes and in the dark hardwood forests of Northern Russia, Natalya felt small and insignificant as she tried not to get knocked over by all these people who were obviously busy and had better things to do that look out for her. Meanwhile, her poor cat was stuffed inside a soft-sided carrier slung over her shoulder like a satchel, rather than perched upon her shoulder like he preferred. Even the suburban environs of Surrey were too closed-in for Natalya, as the houses were all bunched together, and there wasn’t nearly enough greenery for her tastes.
It had been a big adjustment for her going from living well outside St. Petersburg and moving in with Tetya Reyna and Dyadya Sergei. They’d converted the bedroom Faina and Katya lived in when they were children into as comfortable a place for her as they could, with a section converted over into an artist’s nook where she could sit by a window and paint and draw. Kasamir and Medved were moved in as well, but they got to live in a converted attic above the other bedrooms, and Natalya would visit up there for her English language lessons. However, she missed her greenhouse, and she ached to ride again with all her heart, and was sure her equine friends were missing her just as much.
Today was Departure Day, and that meant the beginning of the grand adventure she was sent here to experience. Natalya made sure everything was loaded in her trunk last night, treble-checking that everything was packed. She had books to read in her school bag, as well as snack bars she baked the night before in case she made friends on the train. The neophyte witch stood in front of a mirror last night and rehearsed introducing herself and could comfortably recite her lineage for three generations, noting which Houses they were Sorted into at school. She also had her Sorting outfit planned for two weeks and was already dressed for school.
Natalya was dressed in a long charcoal-gray pleated skirt with polished black dress kitten-heeled shoes, which she paired with a bright white dress blouse with full, puffed sleeves, and a plain black school tie, and she added a brightly coloured and patterned vest, trimmed in soft white tufts of fur at the shoulders and the collar she found in a market at a stall owned by an older woman from the Caucus Mountains. Her long reddish-blonde hair was allowed to hang long and loose, though she added a black Alice band to keep it out of her eyes. ‘Baba always said that for important occasions, a girl must always look her best. I will do nothing to embarrass Baba or my parents.’
As she walked along, she realized Kas had stopped, not too far from the train, and she looked around and realized he was kissing another girl, one older than her with caramel-coloured hair and her arm in a sling. He was also bowing and then saying something to the girl’s … parents … grandparents? Natalya stood quietly, waiting to be introduced.

Clover glowed a little when Anaís mentioned her favorite classes, since those were also her favorite classes as well. "I like Astronomy because the stars are pretty and I like looking up at the twinkling things. I really like laying in the summer grass and looking up at them. Oh, and I love Herbology! Plants... just are my thing. Did you know there's a Herbology club? You should totally come with me this year!" It was pretty obvious that Clover wasn't fully human; her ears were pointed and while she usually wore her hair down to cover them, they routinely poked out of her hair. And then there was the fact that her eyes glowed gold whenever she sung, which was frequently. She wasn't sure how people would react to finding out that she wasn't fully human and that distrust of humans was still deeply ingrained in her. However, she was starting to trust the humans more with each day. When Anaís said she did want to be her friend, Clover squealed and exclaimed, "Yay! I definitely want to be your friend! Oh my, I'm glad that's out of the way. Are you a huggy person? I like giving hugs but I don't want to hug you if you don't want me to hug you." Once again, the brunette tipped her head to the side while she waited for her new friend to respond to her question. Doing so made her kind of look like an over excited puppy, especially with her big brown eyes.

It had already been a long day for Hesperia, especially since her mother had once again refused to get out of bed to come to the platform with them. She had insisted that they take Nikolas so that she could get some rest, as if Hesperia hadn't been watching her brother most of the summer. But when she heard Medved bark and spotted Kasamir making his way over to her, she felt a weight lift off her shoulders. Hesperia smiled a toothy grin when her boyfriend finally made it over to her. A light blush tinted her cheeks when he kissed her, then she glanced over at her grandparents when Kas introduced himself in Greek. "Eísai énas polý kalá omilitís nearós. Polý evgenikó," her grandfather said, nodding. Hes grinned at her Papou, then looked back to Kas. "And this is my brother Niko. Wave hello Niko," Hesperia said, urging her brother to greet her boyfriend. Niko, meanwhile, had suddenly become shy and decided to cover his face, then bury it in her shoulder. The teen chuckled a little. "Oríste, papiáki, na ton páro gia na chairetíseis sostá to agóri sou. Chárika pou epitélous se gnórisa Kasamir." Grandma took Niko from Hesperia despite his protests so that Hes to give a proper hello to Kas, but also so that they could depart the platform soon. After hugging Kas with her now free arm, she noticed the girl that had walked up behind him and smiled at her. "Is this your cousin? I'm Hesperia, it's nice to meet you." She would offer a hand to shake, but that arm was currently still pinned to her body by the sling.

xx✽ Wʜᴇʀᴇ Aᴍ I?Platform 9¾ xxx✽ Wʜᴏ Is Wɪᴛʜ Mᴇ?The Abramses and Heulwens xxxx✽ Wʜᴀᴛ's Gᴏɪɴɢ Oɴ?Leaving for school xxxxx✽ Wʜᴀᴛ's Iɴsɪᴅᴇ Mʏ Hᴇᴀᴅ?I still want Lewis and Su to come along too
It was insane that summer had flown by so fast. They all went together to California (which, how expensive was it to transport their entire families all the way there?! Not to mention week-long tickets to Disney...) to celebrate Lewis and Su graduating, plus Sierra, who was Lewis' girlfriend on top of being a long-time friend. Of course, in Wendel's mind, they were pre-celebrating, since they still had one year of school... because Lewis was only seven years older than he was.
Of course, his hopes had been dashed quite expertly by Lewis not packing anything for the year, then reminding him that he and Su were all the way done. It just wasn't fair! Lewis had been in school since Wen was four, and he couldn't even fail school just a little bit to make sure they had even just one year together!? It was pretty rude of him! But Lewis had given him some cool Montrose gear, including a shirt with their last name on it and a plushie magpie. Since Wen didn't technically didn't have to wear his uniform until he got to school, he was wearing his nice slacks with the black-and-white jersey top.
"Alright, we've got Rosa and Wen, ready to go? Both of you have your pets?" Wen lifted the hard plastic cat crate, causing Duchess to squeak from within. "I have it all, Dad. Mum double-checked my packing last night. She said you'd forget stuff." Wen teased, earning a hair ruffle from dad. "I know, I know. I forgot one book in Lew's first year and she hasn't let me forget it. You remember you still have to follow all your braces rules, right? Even if Mum's not there to give you the scary eyes. Rosa, same goes to you, kiddo. I'm not paying a zillion pound for more retainers." These kids were going to cost him all his money, not to mention much of his remaining sanity.
"Calm down, dad. Rosa's a fourth year this year. She's a whole teenager. And Wen's going to do so great too." Lewis added, nonchalantly. "I'm more worried about where Bryn and Mea and Rey are. Do you see 'em over there with your tall-o-vision?" Wen commented, before letting out a rather undignified squeak when Lewis lifted him up. "I see 'em! Incoming Heulwens!" He laughed as he was set back down.
"We're here! Don't worry. We made it." Nani said, holding Meallan's hand in one of hers, with Rey's being in her other. Laili had Bryn and Chabbit, rounding out the family. "Ooooh, too late, Nani. We beat you this year." Dris teased her in return. They'd had a very long-standing issue with trying to be earlier than the others, and this year, apparently, the Abramses won. Wen hurried over to Bryn, then signed over at him. "Think they're ever going to stop grumping over earliness?" he teased, then offered over a pack of fruit snacks from his backpack. Thankfully, mumndad had given him oodles of train snacks, plus a nice packed lunch for the train. They were pretty great.
I guess to you now, I'm just a face in the crowd Oh God, kinda please, would you kill me now? Late at night in my room, lie awake, think of you And all your little doomst
🍎🧀🍊🍍Bryn did not like how quickly summer had ended, nor how it somehow became the first day of school. He had tried his mothers about homeschooling-he knew it was a thing, he'd asked!-but they had both declined for pretty much the same reasons he'd gone to regular school. He needed to be with kids his age and it wouldn't be good for him to hide away all his life. That and apparently they were worried the grandparents would eventually take over his schooling and goodness knows where that would end up. So he'd acquiesced, not very happily, but well enough, especially after adopting his own real rabbit for his familiar.
Carmine was currently sleeping in her carrier as he slowly gathered his belongings and shoes, already dressed in his jeans and jumper, as the rest of his family scurried around him with last minute packing/sequestering of hearing aides. He supposed the brightest part of all this was that he wouldn't be alone; Wen would be in all his classes even if they didn't get into the same house, Mea and Rey would be around for him to go to, even Rosa (though she still slightly scared him but he was told by the others that this was a normal reaction she caused.)
Eventually, they made it to the platform and Bryn could hear his mum Laili murmuring about arrival times and for a moment he hoped that maybe they had somehow been late enough to miss the train. This hope was then shattered as he spotted Wen and his family and the dramatic groan from his mum at his words. "This year, more like this time! We still have winter and summer holidays you cretin!" Laili, very maturely, pointed out as she stuck her tongue out towards her older brother. He spotted his aunt Puck chuckling but also Rosa hiding her face so he at least wasn't the only one who thought they were weird.
This feeling was doubled as Wen came over to sign basically what he was thinking and offering some fruit snacks. Bryn cracked his first small smile that day, shaking his head as he took the offered snack before reaching into his own bag to offer Wen one of his pb&j crackers. He hoped between the two of them they had enough snacks for the entire ride.
'Hey there, friend." Bryn looked up to see Su suddenly standing with him offering him a comforting grin. "A little birdie told me you might be feeling off today. Or well, multiple little birdies I guess." they gave a sheepish chuckle while the young boy huffed in agreement. "It's not much, but I thought it might help at least a little? I already gave Wen his own so I thought you'd appreciate it too." The taller teen pulled a chunky teal blanket out of their bag (Bryn really wanted a bag like that for very obvious reasons) and presented it to him which he took with bright eyed bewilderment. He brushed a hand though it noting how thick and soft it was.
"Both yours and Wen's are slightly weighted but I didn't want to put any scents on yours in case you were allergic." Su explained with a cautious grin. Bryn only nodded slowly before maneuvering himself into givin the stunned teen a hug (which caused Rosa of course yell something about unfairness) before pulling back. He wondered if he could use the blanket at the sorting, he'd already gotten a pass about his Chabbit, now he wondered if he could do the same with this.

Mea was both excited and very stressed about this year. His little brother was joining them at school, along with his youngest cousin. While normally that would be only exciting news, Bryn needed a lot of extra care. Mea didn't usually mind this, but Lewis and Su had graduated, and they knew a lot about how to help in such situations. Now Mea, Rosa, and Rey were the oldest kids in the family. Hopefully working together they could handle anything that got thrown their way. He'd even had a talk with Mums about needing to help keep Bryn safe, and to go to a professor quickly if he needed help.
As they worked on packing up, Mea made sure to grab all his hats (to keep his ears safe), plus batteries aplenty and the tiny toolkit used in changing them. He disliked that school meant he couldn't use his easily rechargeable cochlears. Mums were grumpling about the time while Mea slipped into the kitchen to pack three lunchboxes and an extra big packet of snacks. All fit neatly in his backpack, then he hurried back out to the living room.
From there they all floo'd over to the platform, connecting hands so they wouldn't get lost in the crowd. It was especially pertinent since Mea had turned the volume on his ears way far down. It was always way too loud in the messy crowd. Quickly they found the Abrams half, and Mea moved to stand closer to Rosa. "Are the parents arguing about who made it here first? Don't tell but I think it's because I was making lunches." He tittered, knowing their parents always kept score.
"Nah, we're gonna win them all." Uncle Dris quipped back, accenting Mea's point. He hesitantly turned up his ears a bit, thinking it would help to hear his family, even if it resulted in his brain ringing when the train would whistle. It was important, though, since he wanted to know what was going on. If he turned them off, he may miss the tannoy announcement about when they'd need to board, causing someone to have to tell him special, and he didn't want to be a bother.
"Oh cool! You made one for Bryn too?! They're super snuggly. You and Chabbit can be cozy on the train. Mine's in my backpack and Duchess already likes it a bunch!" Mea grinned over at Wendel, glad that he and Bryn were making the journey together. He'd had Rosa in his year, then quickly added Rey in as well. Weirdly, only Lewis had gone to school alone, but now he had a sibling his age too. It was weirdly coordinated....
As he chatted with the others, his green eyes noticed a friend in the crowd. Waving over toward Morwenna, Meallan hoped to summon her over to the family group. She was an excellent friend, so he figured he could add her in. Not like either family had problems with friends joining in the party, after all.

After waking up early to feed the goats and get them out to pasture, the Penrose family sat down for breakfast together. Mum and Da fretted over making sure both girls had all their belongings ready for the trip back to school. They didn't want to have to pay to ship anything to the school after the girls had left. Before they left for the train station, Mum had made sure that Wenn was wearing something on her feet, since the teen was often barefoot. After confirming that Wenn had something on her feet, which she'd opted for open toed sandals, then Da picked up Arthur and the girls' trunks, apparating them over to the platform. Mum took the girls' hands and then she also apparated them to the magical platform. Tee had been a little overwhelmed when they'd done shopping at Diagon Alley, but she was wholly unprepared for the sheer crush of people on the platform. Having come from such a small farm village in the West Country, it was a little disarming. But Wenn seemed used to it by now, so she trusted that she would adapt to the crowd as well. Their parents dropped off their trunks for loading into the train, then each hugged both girls. Arthur also hugged his sisters, sniffling a little. He wanted to go to school as well and Mum said that he would get to go soon. The parents' final words were to Wenn, telling her to look after Tee and make sure she was alright. Then they apparated away with Arthur.
With their parents gone, Morwenna smiled at her sister and slipped off her shoes, tucking them into a pocket on her dress. Then she looked around the platform and said, "A'right Tee, let’s go see if we can find some mates." Tegen huffed a little at Wenn and said, "Y’know, Mum wants ye to wear yer shoes on the platfoom 'cause it’s all mucky and there's a right load of folk 'ere." The teen shrugged and said, "Yest'day we were right up to our knees in muck. Ain't that just filthy?" Tegen opened her mouth to respond, but couldn't think of a response. They had been knee deep in mud just yesterday and both of them had been barefoot... so... Besides, Wenn was the big sister and Tee was the little sister so who was she to tell Morwenna what to do. Looking around, Wenn spotted Mea waving her over and the teen waved back. "Oi, there be me mate. C'mon, let me int'roduce ya." Morwenna led the way through the crowd over to where Meallan was grouped up with the rest of his family. "Alright Meallan, 'appy summer to ye! This 'ere be me little sister Tegen." Tegen waved hello and added, "Yew can call me Tee, 'tis lovely to meet 'ee."
Xeno was strangely gittery approaching the platform. She hadn't really expected to be getting a new brother this year, but now that she had she wasn't about to let anything happen to him. It wasn't like she expected someone to jump them, nor was he a toddler that was prone to wander off, and yet, her eyes were peeled. It was something about being the oldest sibling now at Hogwarts. Which was insane. She was not supposed to be the oldest. There was a reason she'd been born in the middle. Xeno took in a deep breath through her nose and breathed out slowly, trying to look as relaxed as possible. She placed a smile on her face as she and Pad entered Platform 9 ¾.
When Padraig spoke she turned her attention to him. She was glad that he seemed excited. He was a good kid. She listened to his words than spoke. "Not weird at all. One thing I've realized in my sixteen years is that emotions rarely make sense, and really, they don't have to." Lord knew she'd had plenty feelings that weren't exactly logical. "I imagine you've had a lot of stress this summer," she certainly had, "So going back to Hogwarts is like a bit of normalcy maybe." Not that going to a magic school was normal. Even for her and magic was all she'd ever known.

Hattie was excited to be going back to school, even if it had the most stairs she'd ever seen and she'd already managed to fall down a few times. Mum and Dad had taken time to drive down to London to see her off. They'd stayed in a nice hotel the night before then headed off to the train station so that she could pop over to the wizarding world. Hattie was explaining how to get to the wizarding platform and her mum and dad were a little disbelieving. After confirming with her once again that she was absolutely sure that she was supposed to run at the wall, her parents hugged her and bade her farewell. Then they braced for their sweet naive daughter to hurt herself. Hattie, meanwhile, lined up her cart and started to run at the divider between Platform 9 and 10. They held their breath, then gasped loudly when she disappeared, instead of crumpling into the wall. Hattie cleared through the wall and onto the platform, then tried to stop her cart. Her cart slipped a little and tumbled to the floor, with Hattie tumbling over the cart, landing hard. Her glasses popped off her face and skidded a little across the floor. "Och, ow! mah heid! Och, 'n' ow, mah side. Och, whaur ur mah glasses?" Hattie started patting the ground around where her accident occurred, searching for her glasses.

As with every year, August 31st was a day full of chaos. Even though he'd been packed and ready to go, Mum had been fretting and making sure he was all prepared. She went over his school list several times, plus checked his potions kit, quidditch gear, and tool kit. With Adi's consistent reassurance, she finally accepted that he'd been doing this for five years now. Dad had sneaked in a few extras, including plenty of money for dates and friends. Apparently he knew his son well (or perhaps he'd just been talking about a certain Hufflepuff too much). They had decided it was best to use his walker with the train and all, so his wheelchair was carefully folded down and secured in his trunk as well, tucked next to Luna's gear.
The next morning, he dressed in his nice clothes, save a flannel in place instead of his robes. The family ate a delightful breakfast at Adi's favorite restaurant, then they headed for King's Cross. Dad held Luna's leash in hand while Mum was pushing the cart, allowing Adi a chance to walk quickly...ish through the platform barrier. After both parent's stepped through, the leash was passed over to Adi, who clipped Luna to his walking frame. She happily stood beside her human, looking around for danger. "You have all your books? Your nice jacket? Did you remember all of your gear?" Eilinoir fussed, straightening her son's ever-messy hair.
"Mum, we checked like forty times last night! I've got it all. And if I did happen to miss something, owl post is wonderful." Adi countered, looking into her matching-mismatched eyes. "Aw, Eli. He's almost an adult. We've gotta treat him like that. Plus forgetting stuff means we get to visit on the field-trip weekends." Dad chortled. They all began to say their goodbyes, both to Adi and to Luna, who was going off to school for the first time. After his trunk was dropped off, Adi decided to wander and see if he could find one of his friends while Luna was happily sniffing everything she could possibly sniff.
Now here I go again, I see the crystal visions I keep my visions to myself It's only me who wants to wrap around your dreams And have you any dreams you'd like to sell? Dreams of loneliness

*ੈ✩‧₊˚༺☆༻*ੈ✩‧₊˚Anaís' grinned brightened a bit as Clover explained why she also enjoyed Astronomy, basically listing off all the things she herself did. She was only a little confused when she offhandedly mentioned that plants were just her "thing" but the Ravenclaw assumed she herself might sound the same about Astronomy. At the topic of potentially joining the Herbology club, she could only offer a slight shrug and a muted "maybe?" She'd tried going to clubs last year but mainly ones where no one had noticed if she chose not to speak, maybe Herbology could be the same way? (Though, she had a feeling it wouldn't really matter with Clover beside her.)
Once again, Anaís was surprised exuberance at their friendship confirmation and her joy was catching with Anaís also starting to beam widely. As she tipped her head regarding her hug question, the girl noticed that her ears peaked a bit out from her hair and they were slightly pointed. That was pretty cool, she'd seen a baby at the orphanage with kind of pointed ears and thought that made them lucky since they were adopted not too long after they arrived. Maybe Clover was just a really lucky person. "I mean it's been a while, but hugs are nice?" Anaís felt a little embarrassed to admit that but they were friends now and friends shared stuff like that, right?
Like a heartbeat drives you mad In the stillness of remembering what you had And what you lost And what you had Oh, what you lost

When she started to smile, Clover smiled even wider. It seemed that her excitability was starting to rub off on her new friend. Anaís said that it had been a while since she was hugged, but that they were nice. Or... maybe it was a question? It hurt Clover's heart a little that she said it had been a while though and Clover couldn't deal with that. She immediately hugged Anaís, wrapping her arms around the girl. The nymphs always hugged a lot back at the grove and Clover routinely got hugs whenever she went out. It was just a way to express her happiness at seeing someone and Anaís saying that she hadn't had a hug in while just made her sad. It meant, to her, that people weren't happy to see her, so Clover was going to make sure that Anaís knew that she was always happy to see her. "I like hugs and I hug a lot. I'm sorry it's been a while Anaís, but I'll be there to hug you whenever! My friends always deserve hugs." She smiled brightly after breaking the hug, then glanced around the platform. "We can go and find a cabin if you don't want to stand around on the platform. There are a lot of people here, aren't there?" She grinned a little, trying to mask her discomfort with the crush of people behind an aura of happiness.
