Lute's blind eyes just stared blankly at where he thought Chloe was. He then started to get out of bed. "So what shall we do today?"

Chloe giggled a little at Lute's casualty, and shrugged. "Personally, as long as I don't get injured anymore, I'm impartial," she said. Usually, she'd lock herself up in the practice rooms and just play violin or piano, or sing, but it was fun to have another friend other than Yumi.

Lute nodded some, petting Apollo who had come to his side. "Could I... maybe hear your playing?" he asked, glancing to where her voice had come from. He smiled some, hoping she'd say yes.
[OOC:] Maybe Anya gives Lute back his sight anyways. That would be pretty cool! XD It'd be like, 'Holy crap I can see!'

[OOC:] That would be cool! It'll make her very happy, lol. Maybe she does it later on, after Chloe and Lute sorta become a thing. Chloe tilted her head a little, smiling back at Lute. "Sure! I"m assuming you mean on violin?" she asked, knowing that that was the only instrument that she'd ever mentioned to him... On second thought, he was the one who'd figured out that she played violin. She smiled down at Apollo, who had returned to his master's side.

Lute smiled and shrugged. "Play anything you wish. I doubt I will be disappointed." he said, Apollo agreeing with a bark. Lute chuckled some, looking down at the dog.
[OOC:] Wish I had made his birthday later in winter. So then it could be snowing. Like Christmas!!

[OOC:] Maybe it doesn't happen on his birthday, and it IS snowing? Chloe blushed slightly, tucking her hair behind her ear as she stood. She took Lute's hand gently and started to lead him out of the medical wing. Her violin was still up in the practice room, where she'd left it that morning. She took a deserted hallway and a couple of secret stairways to keep from bumping into anybody else before they entered the quiet music wing.

Lute felt her take his hand, making him blush a little. But he kept quiet and let her lead him around, Apollo scampering after them.

Chloe pushed open the door of the practice room, led Lute over to the bench and let go of his hand, turning around to close the door again. She walked over to her forgotten violin and picked it up, holding it to her. She wasn't sure what she was going to play, and she was suddenly nervous, blushing brighter than before.

Lute felt the bench against the back of his knees and glanced behind him. He reached down, touching the bench before sitting down, waiting for Chloe's beautiful music, not knowing she was so nervous. Apollo curled around his master's feet, yawning some.

Chloe decided that the best way to not mess up and embarrass herself was to start in on something that was too fast for her to think about the notes. She'd learned the hard way quite a while ago that if she actually thought about what she was playing too extensively, she'd mess up.
So, lifting her bow to the strings, she took a breath and immediately began playing [OOC:] I love this band to death. I"m trying to learn another one of their songs right now biggrin

[OOC:] I have a perfect little song for him. Now all I need is Chloe to wake up from a nap and hear him sing. XD
Lute listened to her song, analyzing every note, every pitch change. It was fast, but there was a mastery to it. An elegance. And he loved every minute of it. Once she was done, he smiled, clapping some. "That was wonderful. A one lady string section."

[OOC:] That'll be cool! Chloe blushed some more, having stopped blushing in her playing. She held the violin to her in the way she'd been taught and looking at Lute, glad he couldn't see her bright cheeks. "Th-thank you. It sounds a lot better with other violins and a few violas, but as you can hear we don't have them here," she said, a bit of a joking tone at the end of her sentence.

[OOC:] I love you! I love that movie! The book was good, but a lot more depressing... Chloe moved so that she sat next to Lute, and she looked over his expression. "Have you ever played an instrument?"
