Caleb's other hand crumpled into a fist. His right tensed the grip on the scissors. This was the point were timing was key, he was the only person between him and point b. Caleb sighed.

Kokopelli directed the last child away, and Ann made another portal.
Ko and Ann managed to escape, though Azrael's cleaver stabbed Moé in the chest.
Moé coughed up some blood.
"Montblanc approved of it. You can do nothing."
Azrael stabbed her again, still in a rage.
"Silence."
"You're truly screwed once they... have a child. Your attacks will... be considered something Maybelline would... do."
"Die already!"
Moé slumped down, and died, but then came up a few seconds later.
"You can't kill me."
"But I'm death, this is impossible!"
"No, I'm simply invincible."
"FOLLOWER OF JIN!"
Moé made a portal.
"We have to leave, Sir."

Azrael aimed a jab at Caleb's back, and Moé shrieked.
"Move, Sir!"

Caleb turned, opening the pair of shears as he took a step backward, his body deconstructing as it entered the portal.

Azrael was stabbed/mutilated in the stomach, and the bottoms of both lungs were punctured.
"Wh-What...!?"
Moé ran in after Caleb, taking the shears out of Azrael to give back to Caleb.
She closed the portal.
"That was magnificent, sir! You countered Death!!"

Caleb took out a white handkerchief and cleaned both of the blades of the shears. He raised his arm and let the scissors fall back into the robe. "Hm?"
