Meanwhile in a different compartment at the end, Calliope Wimple was leaning out a window, her acceptance letter clutched in her hand, and looking uneasy.
Bye Mommy, Bye Daddy! You will write me won't you? A couple stood on the platform waving to the girl, one a man with a wand and goat horns, the other a woman, who looked distinctly glamorous.

The woman spoke with a strong Irish gaelic accent. Don you be worryin' about us writin' to ya, me creena, you just go on an have yurself loads of fun.
The man spoke reassuringly in a British accent. Don't you worry your head, 'Io, we'll write you everyday if you like.
The little girl looked reassured, and brightened. O-okay, oh and da' make sure you let me know how that color changing peacock experiment goes!

Hope attempts to fly out an open window. "Aresto Momentum." Jewel takes off her scarf and wraps it around Hope to cover the wings. She walks back to a compartment. "I can tell you're giddy." Jewel ties the scarf and sits to write in a notebook.

@ Amelia
"Wow, a fourth year! Maybe you could show us around? The reason being that I get lost easily, and it's supposed to be a big castle." She chuckles as she says this. Most students would be worried about how well they'd do in a magical school, but she was more concerned about taking a wrong turn, especially with the moving staircases.

Parents having left, Calliope takes her pet chicken, Henrietta, off her head, places her on the floor of the compartment, and then sits down to read, or at least attempt to, but is thwarted by her giddy excitement.

@ Clover Getting lost is a pain, sometimes you walk around so much you give up and being a first year that is a bad feeling to start off with, so yeah! i would love to show you guys around, no problem at all hehe

"Thank you so much! I didn't think that I would get along with someone in Hufflepuff, but I can see that I was wrong. You're really nice!" Clover smiles at Amelia and then turns back to Myles. "Isn't this great, Myles? We have someone to give us the run-down of the school!"

The Trolley Witch goes down the aisles to offer and sell the delicious goodies in her cart. She looks at each peering face with her dimpled smile and says kindly, "Anything off the trolley, dear?"

((Don't mind me. I don't really want to rock the boat, but I can't help but point out that technically the signatures seems to take up MUCH more space than the quoting does....))

[[@KT: I brought up the quoting issue in the chamber. We'll let everyone know the results of it. And that's another very good point. If we're concerned about stretching the page then signatures take up more space, especially compared to clover's way of quoting. I just don't like a huge list/stack of quotes in one post because I think it is messy and unnecessary.]]
