Hope blinked as her frustrated expression cleared. "R-really..?" she thought that over as she looked up at him, letting the idea roll around her mind a bit. "I-I suppose that makes s-sense.." she murmured quietly as one of her slender hands reached up to hold onto her collar so her fingers could curl around it a bit.

He leans back and closes his eyes. "Really. All it take to start a conversation, or anything for that matter, is an idea. Unfortunately some people are not very imaginative. They have no greater plan than what they would like to have for dinner. They can still be good people and hard workers, but they're not very exciting to talk to."

Hope blinked then tilted her head a bit while watching him. "O..oh..." she said quietly as she wondered if she might be one of those people. She thought for a few moments then blinked, sitting up. Only this time her beautiful wings weren't there anymore. "I-I'll be r-right back." she said before standing up, wobbling a little at the sudden dizzyness. Hope shook her head a little to clear her head before lightly trotting off to talk to one of the people behind them, lightly clasping her hands in front of her as if she were asking a favor. The person nodded then willingly handed her a folded up blanket and a pillow. Hope bowed politely, thanking the person before she lightly trotted back to Shade to sit in front of him while holding out the recently accquired items. "H-here, y-you should rest.." she said quietly as she continued to hold out the blanket and pillow out towards him.

Shade opens his eyes and looks up at hope. He smiles and gratefully accepts the items. "Thank you. I believe I will need my energy later. After we arrive at our destination, I have much left to do." Lying down again Shade drifts off, still thinking about all that needs to be done.

Hope smiled back at him then blinked at how quickly he fell asleep. She leaned over him a little while tilting her head a bit. Is he a heavy sleeper..? she wondered as she admired his long hair. Hope sat beside him as he slept, making sure to make sure everything was going fine around them. A soft yawn left her and she stretched before tiredly laying down on her side next to him, being careful not to get too close while at the same time remaining near him. Everything felt fine when she was near Shade which helped her to fall asleep easily beside him.

Shade264 "Another settlement, where I can report my failure and then I will have to set out to rectify it." Shade glances over at Frensa. "You are welcome to join us, we can always use someone who can fight as well as heal." He offers his hand as a sign of friendship. "I will join you of course I see one of the refugees has awoken." ((Well, first I think we should wake up. sweatdrop ))
A few hours later Shade wakes up and looks around at the rest of the refugees. He looks down at Hope still asleep and smiles. It quickly vanishes as he sets about mobalizing the others for the journey to the next settlement. "Everybody rest for another hour, then prepare to march."
