Contra mundus M-Mann Merely a Shade M-Mann Merely a Shade I've heard as much, merely never actually seen them. You must realize this; I'm about forty years behind the times or so. Or at least that's the conclusion that I've come to. I'm just a part of the wrong generation. I know I live in the wrong generation for many reasons, but your hear so deal with it. I'm backwards on many things, one movie does not make you in the inn crowd as they hommies say. Or is that saying outdated? Hey I watch few movies because most suck. Most us here do also, books are better. I haven't the foggiest. I just know that I would have enjoyed the 1960s considerably. Preferably the late 60s. The trash generation. I'm a little more modern. I'm the 80s guy! YOU CAN'T KNOCK THE 80s WE HAVE GODDAMN STARWARS! Enjoying that disco? 80s music has nothing on the '60s and '70s before you referance s**t music I'm talking of the Ska, punk, hippie, and psychodelic music movements mostly. The '20s-'50s had all the good blues and big band music. What's the 80s got there? Hair metal and disco that's what. '70s was a great movie generation, Harold and Maude, The Godfather, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest and guess what? The first Star Wars movie was made in 1977! Oh right let's see- Taxi Driver, Apocolypse Now, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, A Clockwork Orange. Bing! '60s was good too, and '80s had its moments.

Oh come now, think hippies and anti-war protests. And, more importantly, Woodstock '69. Your right the stoner generation, once they got off the crack they screwed up the country more than it was. I think hippies on fire, being beaten by cops, not taking baths in days. Were a tie, cut your god dam hair and stop wasting space and air. Come on now the only cool thing of the 1960's was the space race, everything else is stamp collecting. Try people who worked toward the goals of a peaceful society and a better world. People who just wanted to live their lives in their own way. And also people who made some of the best music ever, hands down. In the end it pretty much failed, music sucks hands down. One thing I want to rid this world of. You suck hands down. What now?

Dam straight it rocked, the 70's while it had good music, most of the movies I see were good;Dirty Hairy, The Godfather, Life of Braine and many more. Like Contra i was a 80's kid I was born in the last year of the 1980's, what I see is a follow over from the 1970's to 80's, hey i like classical music also. Though I think we can all agree that almost all 90's music and todays mainly sucks. It all depends on the person, seeing that kids can relate to the 1980's or so or 90's depending on when they were born. I myself really not stuck in one area. I see that I can relate to the 50's,60's, 70's 80's or further. Though my passion is not in the music or culture now for some 80's music! Also Empire Stricks back is better than Star Wars:New Hope. Though I need to post this song from 1973 first. Jesus Chirst Superstar80's music now! Take On MeAlways Something To Remind MePutting On The RitzMoscow English VersionMoscow German Version(The Real One)Right Here WaitingI Just Died in your arms tonightThats ok for now.

Moscow is an insanely awesome song. Rock the Casbah! I must admit, the '80s does have some cool s**t. I dig the '40s through the '80s in terms of movies and music. I agree though, the 90s and 00s haven't had any great movies or music (except for some decent ska).
