" My being here is because Bolba wishes to declare that we are wishing to help the Empire, so I'm sure he would offer any assistance you would ever need. " the thug said. " I will tell him you willing to negotiate, but I'm not sure how he would decide to continue. I doubt he'd decide to come here in person, given that a Hutt around a bunch of Imperials isn't exactly going to blend in. However, if you have a certain comm frequency you'd prefer to do this over, I can relay that info as well and it can proceed that way. "

Elsewhere in town, Duke emerged through the secret door in the back of the cantina he was in, heading back to his parked speeder out of sight from town. " I thought he'd never finish. " he thought, looking at his new forged pass to get into town. Having been bored out of his mind while waiting, he lost interest in staying in town any longer, and headed back for the palace. An ironic twist, but it wasn't the first time he had a change of heart due to some inconvenience.

Back at the palace, Diana and the Twi'lek were alone with Bolba in his private chamber. The Twi'lek was exhausted after the time she had with just about every thug in the palace. Luckily, Bolba was just as tired and decided to have a nap, so the slaves had some quiet time.

The shopkeep glanced over the woman's shoulder and frowned.
"Oh that? Its my brother-in-law's. He and my sis moved over here when you guys started shooting up the Spaceport." He replied casually, though there was a tinge of nervousness in his voice.

Lieutenant Stryker smiled tightly as the Chariot came to a halt in front of the Regimental Headquarters. He stepped out of the Chariot and smiled up at the three story building that was their current home. The wooden structure had once been a bed and breakfast, the first floor which contained a kitchen, living space, dining room, and the propietor's apartment. Save for the apartment and kitchen the Headquarters detachment had completely taken over the level as well as the two floors above that functioned as housing for the staff and officers.

As Sgt. Zao stepped out of the Chariot behind him Lt Stryker stuck his thumb at it, "Just so you know, that is our communications and intelligence center... most the planet isn't wired for imperial communiques."

He led the Sergeant inside and setted down on a chair in the living room, now transformed into a map room, dominated by a single holoprojector and a large table covered with flimsi maps. Grinning he gestured around the place, "Our map room... Your quarters will be upstairs, second floor. Officer's quarters are on the third floor."

Standing Stryker led the sergeant into dining room where a steaming pot of cafe sat out, along with a collection of pastries. Abeni, the local propreitor was making herself quite the comfort, "This is the dining room, and Abeni the propreitor left out some cafe... The Kitchen is just down the hall, as well as her apartment, please don't disturb her. Any questions?"

Bakuras eyes centered, targeted, and homed in on the cafe and he very-early teleported over to it and began making himself a cup. "N-None at all, but-but wheres th-this code at."He said, his stuttering quiet apparent as he impatiently mixed himself a mug of caf. His hands shaking and rattling.
As soon as it was done and snatched it up and held it just under his nose and sniffed. He seemed to be studying the smell of it. Ever so gently he tipped the mug and sipped some of it and his eyes shot open and he quickly drained half the cup before setting it down and turning back towards the lieutenant, his neck twitching to the side lightly as well as one eye.

Lieutenant Stryker arched an eyebrow, "I already handed it to you in the Chariot. Are you tweaking out man?"

"N-n-n-no SIR! They just didn't have any when I arrived on the station."Then he slipped his hand into his jumpsuit pocket and rummaged through it til he finally found it. Holding up the chip he raced into the main room where he had set his personal unit down and set it up on the table, ontop of the maps. Slipping the chip into a drive his fingers went to work."Come back in 2 hours and I'll have it ready."

With that he went to work.

Colonel Akaga clambered into the command post thirty minutes later. As he stepped inside he felt a slight pain in his right arm and a shortness of breath. He took a deep breath as he stepped through the door, "Lieutenant Stryker, have you got that holoconference ready?"

"Yes sir, but we'll have to do it in the Chariot, the projector and emitters aren't hooked up in here yet," The Communications Officer answered as his CO leaned against the side of the door and looked over at the steaming pot of cafe.

Taking a breathe, Colonel Akaga bit his impulse to grab a cup, maybe it would put a dampener on his headache but he had other things to deal with before he could give into his body's newfound weakness.

Turning he marched over to the Chariot and clambered aboard. Hopefully this wouldn't take that long. He quickly found the holo sensor and stood on it, "Alright, let's bring in the unit leaders, Battalion COs, the Recon Company Commander, and our support formation commanders... As well as the Navy Battalion."

Hildegard had spent the last few days lavishing in the squanders of the Mayor's office at Port Loka. He'd indulged in cigars, the local brandy, and everything else he could scrounge up.

Having been informed of a holoconference later, he quickly hid his stash and composed himself. When it was indeed time, he activated his holoproj, seeing the figure of Colonel Agaka. He saluted. "Colonel. Captain Hildegard, Recon Company, reporting in."

Colonel Akaga nodded to the Captain, then turned to the other commanders as they appeared, Major Mason Tyrr wasn't present, while his XO had taken temporary command. Eight other officers appeared before him, their ranks ranging from Captain to Major.

The cargo hatch of the Chariot LAVr hissed as Lt. Col. Jasmir Adder slipped in and Colonel Akaga began to speak:

"I just got back with a meeting with Governor Sirus... and it seems that he wants to seperate the non-human and human populations, much like how Invisec was created on Imperial Center." Colonel Akaga swallowed the bile that rose up in his throat, "I want each of you to draw up plans to create temporary holding camps for the non-human population in your sectors, once we have the non-humans concentrated we will then be able to designate a seperate sector for alien inhabitation in your assigned areas of control."

Colonel Akaga took a deep breathe, "I want this process handled as neatly and humanely as possible, dead aliens on the streets will not win us local support, nor will the eviction of residents from their homes. We must work to minimize the damage our governor's action will have on our image on this dirt ball, is that understood?"

Groz stood up and walked to the window. He had been in this house for a while, knowing he had to recouperate. Those dogs where still out there somewhere and he knew it. He wouldn't be able to go out again without weaponry and medicine. None of which was available to him. He had managed to use the medpack to its fullest extent and he had been healing wuite nicely, but it was a time-consuming process, for the body to heal. And there was something he needed to make that time. Food and water. So he would have to go outside after all. Then it struck him: if he could not find a weapon, then why not make one? There were a few chairs and a table, he could try breaking the legs off them and using them as weapons. He knew that was his only shot at a semi-decent weapon and so that's what he did.

Hildegard nodded, listening to his orders until the conference ended.

When it was over, he called his XO. "Ford, you there?"

There was a brief pause. "Yes sir?"

"We've got orderes from the Govenor. He wants the xenos seperated from the humans.'

Benton saw where this was going. He'd heard about Imperial Center. "Immediately?"

"As quickly and humanely as possible," the captain replied. "Avoid killing and violence when possible. Don't let them know they're being evicted."

Benton swallowed, nodding. It wouldn't be pretty. "Yes sir."

By the time he'd finished his meeting, Hildegard's supply of cigars and whiskey was exhausted. Deprived of his luxuries and up to his neck in work, he grabbed his side arm, and headed out for the street.

His secretary stopped him on the way out. "Where are you going, sir?"

"I'm taking the night off to go inspect the city while Ford rounds of the xenos. I won't be out too late."

Leaving the compound, he walked briskly torwards the market district, where he found the local cantina. Going inside, he attracted many glares and stares, but shrugged them off and sat at a back table.

When the waitress came to see what he needed, a bit skittishly, he replied. "Pint of Corellian, if you have it."

She shook her head. "All we have is local Loka Brew."

He grunted, waving his hand exasperately. "Fine, fine..."

Great. They didn't even have Corellian. What a cess pit.

A man came up to the Imperial officer's table, putting a bottle down. " Corellian. I always hate it when a guy who knows what he wants can't get it. " After a brief pause, the man continued. " Mind if I join you? "

Hildegard looked up. Sitting before him was a bottle of good ol' Corellian whiskey. He gritted his teeth. "That uestra told me they didn't serve Corellian!"

His voice was more than audible enough for the girl in question to hear. Yet, the background noise continued anyway.

" It's from my own stash. I always have a few favored drinks handy in case the place I go to doesn't have 'em. " The officer seemed to be annoyed, or at least agitated because of something. Not waiting for a response to his question, the man sat down on the other side of the table. " I take it you've seen what kinda Hellhole this planet can be for offworlders. Most everyone here probably already hates your guts, but I don't. Personally, I'd say you Imps are doing well so far. What's your name? "
