'Everyone knows my secret. Not only that, but I'm in a problem concerning my father. He came to me as I was the Phantom bandit, and asked me to find and bring back princess Irene. So... I don't know what to do. There's just so many secrets and paths that I just don't know what I'm going to do anymore.' Irene thought back. Her head was still covered, but Irene opened the coak to reveal her clothes.
"MM hmm, I'm so sure." Irene said quietly. Then Irene stood up and ooked at Kanoshi. Irene put back her hood so he could see her face. "Kanoshi, I have a question for you... You say you know when we'll die, but how could you know that? I mean, who are you?" Irene figured he was a guardian of some kind, or somehow tied with dark magic.

Kanoshi smiled. "i knew i would have to awnser that question sooner or later. I am a reaper. I joined up with the Grim Reaper and helped his quest to reap the souls of the dead. And i know that you may think this is going to sound scary but..." He paused for a long while. "I am of course, i am your godfather."

Irene's eyes widened a bit. "Godfather? But then... Then you knew my mother. And my father." Irene's mother died just a few years ago of a bad illness. Her father was old, but she didn't think his death was soon. But still, she didn't remember Kanoshi. Why would he not stay at the castle? If he truly was her godfather why wasn't he there for her childhood? And why when she was little did Siaxu no longer live with her? There was so much now that she was unsure of.

Kanoshi smiled. "I didn't stay at the castle, for i was a demon. Your mother was kind enough to let me become her daughters Godfather, She was kind enough, but your father cast me out. And i have tried to send you letters but your father was tired of me. He burned those letter. And reaping your mother was the hardest thing i had ever done." Kanoshi was tearing up. He quickly turned and set a plate infront of Irene. "Eat you need strength."

Irene looked down at the food, and slowly sat. "My father always said I got my kindness from mom... My sister's a lot like my dad. It's almost scary." Irene let out a weak laugh. She stared at the food, then at Kanoshi. "I don't want to rule the kingdom... I don't want to go home as Irene the princess. But I also don't know what else I can do."

"You don't have too." Kanoshi said sitting beside her. "You can stay here as long as you like." He ran his hand thorugh her hair.

Irene looked to Kanoshi and smiled a little, but then her smie faded again. "But first I have to deliver the package to the elven city in the mountains... And what about the Phantom Bandit? What would my town do without her? I can't just dissappear. But when I get there my father will ask if I found the princess. I don't know how I'm going to respond to that."

"I will reason with your father." Kanoshi said, "In the mean time, eat you will feel better." He got up and went to the table. he took out paper and ink and began to write to the king.

Kaori kept herself seated on Irene's shoulder simply listening to the conversation that was going on. She watched Kanoshi write and fluttered onto the table and sat herself right in the middle her legs crossed. She smiled up at Irene,"He's right miss you do need to eat."
