Hello, I'm Akonite. I've not developed a persona as of yet though I'm definitely tinkering with the fashion possibilities. I'm residing in California about 30 minutes to an hour outside San Francisco. I'd love to correspond with other local steampunks and set up a meet and greet.

Greetings, guildmates!
I am very new to Steampunk, and therefore do not own much in the way of steamy clothing.
In the real world, I am a 19 year old English major known as Kelli. I currently reside in North Dakota. I was once a Theatre major, which is how I was first introduced to Steampunk fashion.

Im a 16 year old Canadian girl in her last year of high school, so I'm pretty much going batshit insane.

Hello, my name is Drake. I am 18 years of age, queer, married on gaia and play water polo and swim. To be completely honest, I am not (at all) steampunk in my every day life. I just recently found out aboutthe culture and it drew me in. I find the style to be the essence of romance, really. It's captures the spirit of... well, of spirit.
I never claimed to make any sense.

Ah, hello there. I am Oeste, I've been off and on Gaia since '04 in various incarnations. I am 21 years old and I reside in the United States. I was introduced to the idea of Steampunk about two years ago now, and I have been in love with it ever since. I've recently started doing some basic costume work, mostly nerf mods and gathering pieces of clothing via Goodwill. I am super excited for National Time Traveler Day, and looking forward to learning much from the guild.

I can't remember if I've introduced myself yet... But I'm VK...
I'm a fairly recent Steampunk convert... Didn't realize it existed until about this past May...
I'm the mechanic aboard The Brass Barge, and I'm also chronicling it's crew's adventures... I'm a writer and it'll be my first book should I actually finish it before I die.

For that matter, I'm not even a man. sweatdrop
I'm an 18 year old Animation major at the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan. I've liked the look of Steampunk for a long time, but I wasn't able to place a name for it until about 2 or 3 years ago. Sadly, most of my real life items aren't Steampunk at all. I don't even have goggles.
It's massive fun to draw, though.

Greetings and good tidings to you all, I'm Victorialyn but if you'd like, Vickilyn. I'm am 19 years old, a police science major and I'm coming here from the great wild west of Arizona. This Steampunk idea has completely enveloped me and I can't stop looking for new ideas, but I think I'm a little behind the times since I only heard about this a few days ago. But I'm currently working on getting all steamed up for Halloween, and will definitely incorporate this into my everyday life.

I'm seeing more and more stylish avatars converting. Users that have had enough time on Gaia to develope a unique look, sig and name that all compliment their avatar, so I'm really interested to see how everyone translates Steampunk.

I am Ophiucha, or Alexandra Victoria as my parents so deemed. I live in New York, although almost all of my blood relatives live in or come from England. I suppose I got into steampunk through Hayao Miyazaki's castle-centric films, although I did enjoy several steampunk features before that (I just didn't know what steampunk was). I am a writer, a gamer, and everything else that is typical to Gaia Online. You will find me NaNoWriMo-ing throughout the next month with my steampunk!fantasy as seen in my sig (although the formatting is odd 'cause guilds are stupid like that). Anyway, its nice to meet you all!
