"Geez, you guys are idiots. She doesn't care, she likes Gray because....well, he's Gray. Who knows. But on the subject of Kayako...You're wrong, Dominic."

Asuka rounded the corner, not at all happy that SHE was the one to find this scene. Honestly, she wanted someone else to be the one to deal with the escapee and his mayhem. But unfortunately, she'd decided to vacate Kayako's breathing space just in time to see Quinn and Dominic chatting it up.

"Kayako is from the Novak Foundation like me. I did hear though that when she lost her memory after the escape she woke up in a cave......"

((Darn it, Kayako, I hope you know you ruined an awesome opportunity for me to pick on her later on. razz ))

"Gargh, I don't know anything about anything anymore," moaned the pilot. He adjusted the water bed on his shoulder before informing Dominic of the girl's name. Makes sense that she would be near her quarters, right? Regardless, Quinn needed to berate Asuka for the unsafe storage of the now-empty bed.

"Asuka, I'm confiscating this comfortable bunk device. It is a safety hazard that endangers your entire quarters, and it also serves as a precious source of water, which was all lost on removal of the furniture in question. I expect you to clean up the mess, as the bed was your responsibility to begin with. It will now be stored in my quarters until further notice."

"Umm, so yeah, we'll be going now!" Quinn waved to Asuka with his free hand and let himself be pushed out of the room. He called back, though, "Hey, we need to have some kind of meeting so I can know what the crap is going on around here! Tell Kayako that for me, will ya?"

Secretly, he was glad for Dominic carrying him out of the room, since he expected Asuka to be in a rage over what he had done to her room. What ticked him off, though, was that Dominic was touching it. "It's light enough for me to lift on my own, ya know," said the man defensively. MINE!! barked his mind.

((ALRIGHT!! Let's get this boat up to speed, now! biggrin ))

Time passed by relatively well after that. By some magical means that is felt does not need to be stated as to how, the ship got out of the canyon and made full repairs. Now back up to full working order, it sailed through the skies, and a little bit faster, too, since the last delivery deadline was missed and they were now behind.

Kayako and Senturi, as well, made a full recovery and the girl was back to her regular self. At Quinn's request, Asuka managed to get Kayako to call the group to a meeting. In the special meeting room, the purple-haired "leader" told the group all that had gone on that day. She explained that (obviously) they were attacked by an LFO. She also explained that the pilot of the LFO was a formal member of the group named Rain. About half of the group had known her and the rest had joined after she ran away. Kayako didn't give any specifics about why Rain ran away, mostly because she didn't know the reasons.

As Kayako went on, she stated that somehow the military must have gotten a hold on the girl and brainwashed her. Also, it was most likely that they did more to her since she was a former experiment at a place known as the Novak Foundation. After the group made the last delivery, she continued, they were going to go get Rain back from the group. She grumbled to herself about how she would rather go save her now, but Asuka had somehow managed to convince her completely their task was their first priority, as much as she would rather save Rain from the evil clutches of the Novak menace.

Days since the meeting, people seemed to go on about their daily lives. Some would talk amongst themselves about the incident, but not that often. Gray, it seemed, had no idea anything happened* and was still in his room like that was the whole entire world.

((*Mostly cause Sho NEVER bothers to come here!! rolleyes Ok, yeah. The Raggy's all up to time with Warusawa, now. Once Kayako gets on, I guess, we'll get the second battle a-rolling.))

Dai had managed to repair the Twilight's knee by the time that the Ragnarok had gotten out of the canyon. The speed of the repairs were partly do the amount of time Dai had taken. He spent every waking hour working on the LFO, but then again while working on the Twilight he only sleep for about two or three hours.

He had completely finished repairing the Twilight and giving it routine maintenance by the time of the meeting that Kayako had called to inform the crew about the pilot they had recently 'encountered'. Dai was a little bit shocked that it turned out to be friend of most of the crew, but finding out that the military probably brainwashed her wasn't so hard to swallow. He was aware of the unethical techniques that the military used, which was a reason behind his abandonment of the military.

In the days following the meeting, he caught up on a lot of the sleep that he neglected while working on Reiku's LFO. As a matter of fact, at this very moment Dai was fast asleep in his room.

"We don't HAVE a plan....Kayako pretty much does things on instinct, so most likely we're going to attack the foundation directly and try to take her from there. To that girl, it doesn't really matter how dangerous something is.."

Asuka leaned against the wall, watching the younger boy get so worked up. During these past months traveling with Kayako and the others, she'd realized that the best thing to do was to stay calm when faced with something like this. If she didn't, there would likely be a riot between the leader and the rest of the crew, because the redhead was probably the only one who took the time to calm Kayako down when she got riled up so nothing bad would happen.

Asuka regarded Reiku like she would a younger squad member, someone who still needed to learn alot about how things worked.

"Don't underestimate her though. Kayako's the only one who's broken out of the foundation...twice....and lived. That has to account for something."

Down in the hangar, Kayako sat on top of Senturi's shoulder, holding her head as was her custom lately. Something didn't feel quite right.....her LFO had been silent for a day now, and earlier the day before she herself had felt a strange pain go through her, like something big had happened. She heard something screaming....

'Senturi, why are you being so quiet? What happened?'

'theEND...They....'

Kayako didn't need to ask what had happened. Senturi, Silence and theEND, maybe even Nirvash, knew everything about each other, and as soon as she put her hand on her LFO's armor, the images flashed into her mind just like she was there. It had been this way, ever since she's gone into that fissure.

Things were silent for a moment.

"He's launching the plan. That means...he'll want to make sure we don't get close, and warn Eureka and Anemone about what's going to happen."

'Your older sister already knows. Trust her...and the messenger's partner will protect her.'

"They'll come after us today, won't they?"

'Yes.'

Night was fast approaching. It wouldn't be long before something happened now. Kayako went over to the wall and clicked on the intercom.

"Quinn. Ready the weapons. I want everyone in battle mode, that means be ready for an attack any time now. Ragnarok doesn't need any more damage."
