Well, since I started the whole discussion thing, I ought to post my favorite moments as well

I think I'll rip FFG off and do a Top 3 as well.

3. Episode 15. The end of the fight against the Spiral King. We've just seen Simon and Rossiu throw everything they've had against the Spiral King, only to have him get out of his mech and tear the Lagann apart bare handed. Then, in his victory, he pulls Simon up and...gets stabbed in the chest with a Core Drill. That is how to turn a fight scene around to the good guy.

2. Episode 11, where Simon stops being depressed and finally starts being awesome. This is really the first bit of real Simon awesomeness we get. It's also the first time we get to hear Happily Ever After, which adds so much to the scene.

1. Episode 25. Kittan's death scene is one of the most well done scenes I've seen in anime. I'd never really given Kittan much thought before the episode beyond as a side character who served in whatever support was needed. He only really started to come to the spotlight when the group went into space. With that one episode, though, Kittan rose dramatically in my estimation. To make one care so much about a character like that, even as he's going off to die, that's a great moment. That, and we get to see the Chouginga Gurren-Lagann in all its glory right afterwords.


Plus, it's the first time we hear the Operatic version of Fight the Powah. XD

This is something I need. When is it coming out?

I also need Kamina's glasses. Surely they will make them. Just give me the heads up.

Top 3 Scenes:
1. First transformation at the end of episode 3

Uh... and then.... um...

And now since I am easily manipulatable and now in love with Kamina to Wolfwood (don't take that link too seriously) levels, here are some Kamina scenes I like.
1. Don't believe in the me that believes in you. Believe in...
2. Kamina holding onto Simon in the first episode when Simon is frightened by the earthquake
3. Kamina holding the television Yoko is watching in episode 27
4. Kamina sitting back and letting Simon take over
5. Kamina at the top of the pyramid in the time-jump opening
6. Of course, Ten Times Better

I also heart Simon but somehow it's not the same. As much as I never really took to Nia, I ended up feeling bad for Simon in the end... even if having Nia remain alive wouldn't seem fair to me somehow after they sacrificed all those named characters for cheap, yet effective, tears.

Older Simon's hair looks a lot better without gravity. I could have done without the epilogue. Do guys voices really drop crazily like that? I mean, seriously? It is too bad Diffy couldn't pull off Kamina's demeanor, even if I did get him into a blue wig.

So I was listening to VNV Nation's Holding On the other day and took notice of the lyrics "I believe in you/You believe in me" Heh.

Is it a bad sign if we just got to the part of the biology textbook with RNA, and I read the little paragraph about Uracil replacing Thymine to bond with Adenine and fangirled like no tomorrow? xd

I'm starting to draw little hearts with "URACIL" in the center. xd Oh lord. Gurren-Lagann halped me study. I go through the work now: "Adiane with Thymine! Cytosine with Guame!
