While Crissy and Joyce tried to decide on what to do about the strange appearance of the meowth, another pokemon had smelled the scent of the honey that Coulett had spilled, and it was heading towards the tree, unaware of the party that was standing below it.

The girls had decided to rest for a bit by the tree, pokemon spread out around them. Nightshade had started messing with Joyce again, and he was currently tickling her, his body a good five feet away from his hands so that she couldn't retaliate.

Sherine wandered away from the group, noticed only by Midnight, who had pulled out several of Crissy's pokeballs, and had started puouncing and attacking them, because they were round. He stopped playing with all but one, which he picked up in his mouth as he followed after the skitty. He was planning to play a trick on her~

Sheri settled down out of earshot from the group, and she started singing, her voice incrediblly sweet.

Midnight had climbed a tree so that she wouldn't be able to see him on the many times that she looked back, and he had sat watching her with interest. Then she started to sing, and he almost instantly fell asleep, pokeball dropping from his mouth as his body went slack. The ball fell down through the tree, bouncing off of branches, until it fell upon a numel that had been making it's slow progress through the forest. The numel had also heard the singing, and it didn't resist when the pokeball sucked it into it's depths, because the numel has also fallen asleep.

Meanwhile, back at the tree, Joyce's phone rang. She answered it. "Hello?"

"Joyce! Guess what! I found some candy when I was packing my stuff for the move!" exclaimed Peace, Joyce's younger sister. "I'm sending it to you because mom won't let me have it on account of my cavity, so enjoy!" After that, she hung up.

Joyce laughed. That was her little sister alright.

Crissy noticed the burmy, and she looked around for midnight, as he was the one who needed training, and that's when she realzied that both he and Sheri were missing. She frowned, worried about them, but then she sighed, and gestured Coal forward.

The chick pokemon hopped forward, and the burmy lowered itself further, and then it suddenly tackled Coal! -20 Coal: 50/90

A wild wurmple was also listening to Sherine sing, but he wasn't being affected by her song, only becoming irritated. This dreadful singing had awoken him! He decided that he would take care of the matter, she didn't look like she was very strong in his opinion, and so he dropped out of the tree and landed right in front of her.
Sheri's singing stopped with a cry of surprise, and she jumped backwards a few feet, so scared that her fur was standing up. How dare he! she thought, and then suddenly rushed towards him, stopping at the lats second, causing him to flinch. -30 Wurmple: 0/30

As Crissy sat back down, still holding Sheri, Liam swooped through the air overhead, testing out his power of flight, trying to do several different tricks.

Nightshade couldn't resist, and grinning, he rose through the air, invisible, and when he judged the moment was right, he suddenly reappeared right in front of the Beautifly. Liam frantically tried to back pedal in the air, and he swerved to avoid this sudden obstacle.

Joyce had seen what Nightshade had done. "That was a nasty trick." she chastised him, waving one finger in his direction. "What if he had crashed into a tree?"

Crissy had fallen asleep against a tree, Sheri curled up in her lap. While she was napping, Joyce had decided to explore the forest a little, not going to far just in case something happened. Faintly she could hear the sound of running water, and so the white haired girl headed towards the sound. She virtually stumbled over the source of the sound. A small stream was babbling merrily on it's way.

Joyce crouched down and cupped a little of the water in her hands, slowly bringing to her lips. She took a small sip, and a large smile spread across her face. It was delicious! She pulled some empty bottles out of her bag and started filling them from the stream water.

A small blue head popped up out of the water and regarded the woman crouched on the bank curiously. The piplup swam towards her, and then clambered up onto the bank. "Pip?"

Joyce jumped a little, startled. She hadn't seen the small penguin pokemon. "Oh hello. Aren't you curious?" she asked as the little pokemon started to rummage through the girl's bag. Seeing that it meant no harm, Joyce went back to filling the bottles, humming quietly.

The piplup pulled out all sorts of things, potions, ribbons, rings, lace, feathers, and balls! He grabbed hold of the little red and white ball, and started turning it around and around. He found a button on it, and he pressed it curiously. He let out a small cry as he suddenly found himself drawn into the ball with a flash of light.

Joyce looked over when she saw the cry, and she didn't see the piplup anymore. She shook her head, and since she had finished filling the bottles, she started to clean up the mess it had made. When she picked up the pokeball, it disappeared in a flash of light. She let out a small cry, "Oh! Well... I guess I know where he went..."
