Ulrich grinned and picked up Miyu carefully. "What do you like," he asked her, "shoulders? Head? Or just in the arms?" Since she was small enough for him to carry her any way she liked best.
Ulani laughed again and set Skye on the table - since she was way too small to sit on any of the chairs.
"But we're going to take your sandals off," she grinned, bending over to untie them. She set them aside and poked the bottoms of Skye's feet.

Skye watched as her sandals were put to the side and giggled when her feet were poked - but she didn't move her feet at all. She wasn't very ticklish, so different from the rest of her family.
"Poke!" she giggled, reaching forward and poking Ulani's nose.

Kara grinned watching Ulrich as she passed him to go into the kitchen, seeing Skye there too. It looked like Skye was going to have a few stories to tell, she thought to herself. Hopefully, Celebor wasn't going to get jealous.
Miyu looked up at Ulrich and pointed to his shoulders, that way she could see everything, and everything wouldn't seem so big to her, which was why she tended to skitter very easily.

"Morning," Donovan greeted Ulani, since he didn't get the chance to before.
He stopped at the table to pull out a chair for Kara.
"Skye," he greeted the kid.

"Good morning, Donovan!" Ulani called out cheerfully. "Slept well, I presume? Go ahead and start eating, we don't stand on ceremony here, as I'm sure you recall." She laughed.
Ulrich chuckled softly and set Miyu on his shoulder, careful so that she wouldn't slip at all. "Here we go," he grinned, and headed into the kitchen. He sat in his chair and tickled Miyu's side a bit.
"Want to sit with Skye?" he asked her, looking up at her and grinning.

Skye waved at Donovan. "Hi Gampa!" she giggled. "A' Miyu!" she added, her eyes sparkling, her wings fluttering excitedly again. She clapped her hands and giggled.

Donovan blinked at that before settling down with Kara, "I'm still not use to that," he muttered more to himself giving Skye a small wave.
It was a scary thought, with the younger generation entering the family, he was having people call him grandfather.... and worse yet... father. Well, not that it was a bad thing, but still...

Kara giggled at that waving at Skye as well as she sat herself down. She was more amused by Donovan than anything else, it reminded her fondly of when Jin had his first word, what a sweetie it was.
Miyu curled up a bit so she wouldn't be tickled as much giving off a slightly soft eeping sound. She looked down at Skye hearing her name and waved, noddint to Ulrich, that sitting beside Skye would be fine.

Ulrich grinned again and set Miyu on the table next to Skye. They were so cute, the two of them ...
Ruel was already half finished his breakfast. It almost seemed as if he were trying to set a record - or that he was beyond anxious to get out of there quickly.
Ulani sighed at Ruel, but took her own seat. "So you had a talk with Serenity," she smiled at Donovan and Kara. "How did that go?"

Skye grinned at Miyu and patted her wings a bit, then pointed at the food that was in front of them. "Nummies!" she told her cousin wisely, since of course that was what Ulani had told her the food was. She reached forward and grabbed a piece of ... whatever it was ... and held it out to Miyu.

"Oh it went well," Donovan replied, though most of it wasn't sarcastic, "Actually," he admitted, "We're hoping she can visit the other children, it would be good for her... and it would be good for Elnara quite frankly," he told her, "Also Celebor has been bugging his mother to visit here, so this would be a good place to start really."
He slid over the problem about Ruel and all that.

"It's good to see her again," Kara added happily, "It'll be good to have time to catch up on things."
Miyu stared at the food before taking it with both hands. She nibbed away at the edges, the taste was very good. Skye was right to say it was yummy, Miyu nodded to her cousin quickly, yes yes it was very good as if she was saying.

Ulani's eyes grew bright. "Yes! Yes! It would be wonderful for everyone if Serenity could go visit Elnara and her family!" she enthused. "Valar know, Serenity needs a break from this world - and seeing Elnara would be perfect!"
Ulrich turned from his breakfast to look at Donovan. "Is that what you meant about Serenity being in a hurry to leave?" he asked curiously.
Ruel had no idea what they were saying - he didn't speak a single word of English - but he understood the names they were using. His eyes narrowed, his face darkened, and he left the room abruptly.

Skye grinned delightedly and reached for a piece of the food for herself, and she took a huge bite (for her, which was still of course a tiny bite to most people).
She giggled. "Nummies," she agreed, taking another bite before her first was even finished.

"Actually," Donovan watched as Ruel got up, his eyes followed the elf.
The man paused what he was saying, it was bothersome he couldn't hear the elf at all, but he was sure Ruel was not going to stay within close range. Not that the guy could understand.
"Actually," he restarted his sentence, "She was hurrying to leave when she realized Ruel was here," he told Ulrich, "You know... no confrontation and all that," he explained, "But she was very eager at the idea of going to Gaia."
