Mizu was too distracted by what she could see of fight taking place. “Holy crap poor Takara.” Mizu thought to herself. Mizu continued to watch the fight then the guy that Takara was fighting disappeared; and then soon after their sensei stopped the fight. “Wow.” Is all Mizu had to say when she decided it was high time she got out of this hole.
Mizu looked to her side then over her shoulder. “That’s perfect, a rock!” she said. Mizu closed her eyes and said, “Kawarimi no Jutsu” with her attention focused on the rock.

Mizu opened her eyes to see that she was finally free she took a few steps away from the hole. “I feel stiff she stated. Mizu sighed and thought “Where to now.”

Haruko entered the Grove with a jaunty little walk. He was in a good mood today. He'd finally managed to get someone to teach him the Mizu Bunshin Jutsu. Well...to be completely honest, Aunt Reiko had pulled some strings to find someone to teach him. She had been busy lately and didn't have the time to teach him at the moment. But he'd apparently pestered her enough that she had found someone else to do the job for her. He grinned wildly, thinking of her expression when she informed him. It had been a mixture of relief and annoyance. And maybe just a little pride. Either way, whoever she had gotten was supposed to meet him here. He had wanted to arrive early just in case. Reiko could be a stickler about some things. And being on time was one of them. Better safe than sorry, you know?

A young man in a while jacket and a sword slung around his back walked up to the boy. He had no identifying marks But he stood tall and made no movements of fear. He himself was proud of who he was and didn't think he needed any kind of proof of who he was.

"Itou Haruku... Right?"

Seiko cocked an eye brown and looked down at the boy.

"Reiko asked me to over see your training."

Haruko turned at the sound of the voice. He smiled at the man who approached him. "I'm afraid that's me. You must be the Mizukage. I am honored." He made a little half-bow, free of irony and sarcasm. "What did Aunt Rei have to do to get you to give up your time?" he raised a brow in question. "I would have thought that you would be even busier than she is. Especially since you have a team to train." The young boy shrugged. "Either way, I'm ready to begin when you are."

"Eh, time is precious however, I give it to those that need it. Your aunt merely asked and I complied. I hope that you can use what I can teach you and serve us well. To me there is nothing more important than defending this country and the way i've devised to do this is to give power to those that need it. I believe that everyone should have the ability to fight and protect what is most precious to them and whether thats fighting to live or fighting for the right to live a peaceful life..."

Seiko walked away and started heading to the water. He walked on to the water and formed a set of hand seals and three copies of himself appeared from the water.

"So this is the technique, right? Mizu Bunshin?... In order to do this we're going to have to get you to manipulate water to begin with."
PostPosted: Mon May 21, 2007 8:37 pm

Haruko nodded, his respect for the guy going up a few notches. He sounded like he knew what he was talking about and believed in it, too. Plus, Aunt Rei seemed to tacitly approve. And while Haruko didn't have quite the same hero worship that his little brother did...he still looked up to his aunt alot.

Following Seiko over to the water, he watched closely as the three clones were made. "Ok. Manipulating water. It shouldn't be too much harder than walking on water, right?" Haruko was eager to learn the jutsu.

Takara faultered. She wondered if there was any use to continue the exercize when their sensei was no longer looking. No, she shook her head, he would probably find out later, anyways. She had a feeling her would. She sighed and half-heartedly tried again. And as usual, she did not make it up the wall.

Takara stood back up calmly. She was used to the pain already, since she fell most of the time. It was just proof of her weakness, yet it did not stop her from continuing. Takara took a few steps away from the wall. She then sprinted towards it, continuing as she went up the wall completely. She could not help but grin as she ran back down, glad that she accomplished something, even though she was not even halfway done.

Since she did the last one correctly, Takara did not expect to be able to go up the wall again for quite a while. She was not disappointed, though it was odd, since she should have. It meant she would be out there longer, trying to catch up with her teammates, while they advanced quicker than her. Of course, she would never give up, though. It only motivated her to become stronger and stronger. It was nothing like what she felt as an academy student.

She remembered her fathers words. How he expected so much, yet so little out of her. He wanted her to become a great ninja, yet he did not think she would ever be strong enough. She would prove him wrong, no matter what. Even if that became her reason of being, only temporarily, of course. With such a goal, she would not advance very much. With a great goal, people become stronger, and she felt it may be that reason that she was barely advancing. She shook her head. She needed to pay attention to her wall runs, or she would never finish. Takara ran up the wall, and back down again, landing easily on her feet.

Takara remembered her academy student days. Though it was not that long ago, it felt as if it had been at least a year. She missed it a bit, the time she spent with her two friends. She missed fightin Hiro and Mizu, training together until late, eating Shokuto-san's food. She smiled as she reminisced. Once she had the chance, she would like to visit Mizu's house again and maybe, just maybe, she would stop by her home, if only to greet her mother. She laughed. She was not concentrating, yet again. She guessed she would not be concentrating for a while, and left it at that. Her mind continued to wander as she attempted at running up the wall, yet failed.

Takara dashed up the wall and back down. She felt like she was getting better at it, yet she also knew that if she let her guard down, she would only continue to fall. She only hoped her luck would continue. Takara paused for a moment. Why was she being punished anyways? She was only standing up to Maverick's challenge. Of course, she lost terribly like she vaguely imagined she would, yet she still enjoyed the fight. She felt like it would make her stronger, if it did not kill her.

Takara stretched and bit back a yawn. She was becomming a bit tired, yet she still had five more runs left. If only she were better at it... She sighed. Wishful thinking would get her nowhere. Yet it seemed like the only thing she did lately was train and think, even though she hated thinking. Thinking was annoying; it took too much effort and time... and thinking was what she was doing that exact moment! Takara resisted the urge to kick something--anything--and instead continued with her wall runs. She failed to go up all the way.

Takara's mind was not on track, as it barely ever was, as she continued her punishment. This time, however, she was successful in going up and down the wall. However, it barely registered in her brain as she began to wonder what she would do after finishing the runs. She could learn a jutsu... No, she was not skilled enough. She would have to train a bit more before she could learn anything else.

Hiro couldnt get how hard this jutsu was till he tried it. His legs were burning he was breathing harder then he ever had. It seemed like his lungs were being shrunk with ach jump. He had to master this jutsu, he would need it down the line he just knew it. He tried to charge the chakara again and jump this time but he went down. The force of the blow knocked him to the ground hard. "Damn it, I have to learn this jutsu."
