Thats why you invent the mage cannon!
It does the damage so you don't get whooped by angelic pact!
Simply put, you need to figure out something more than killing things or people...
Mabye have some of the other stats come into play too!

Still, how about a tournament where there are teams of 2 people, but the teams must be made of mages. Anything goes, whether it is attacks or spells, etc. No team-up, though. And the team with me will not be taking much damage. ^_^ Once I get my summon after getting enough CP after this dungeon I'm in I'll be able to heal about 15-21 points of damage each turn.

(After Gerbo's next 4 CP in skilled caster, If I equiped my preists staff, I could cast 2 healing spells of 8/ turn, Plus heal someone else another 8 with the staff, for a total of 24 healing/turn. Though I have someone else in mind for that build...)

Of course that doesn't matter if you get instantly killed by a 45 damage fireball ^^.
You want to see some crazy healing you should see what Gerbo and I were talking about. With the priest staff he wants to loan me and heal I could heal for 28 which will actually be 30 once I finish my tourney.

random mistakes 20 right now... AND WHATEVER AMMOUNT I GET IN MY NEXT DUNGEON! Not really... How bout 2:1 ratio? Every 1 chip I get, I'll give you 2! If you gave me 2 chips for every one you got, then you would just slowly crawl yourself into a debt you would have no way of getting out of! Bellamin, though since you did give me the heal spell for free... I'll give you a 200 chip coupon for my store! Usable at any time! What do you say?

Perrian walks into Gerbo's house and walks over to view what is being sold. "Hmm...Gerbo, I see your selling something I desire, a Potion of Endurance. You're selling it for 300 chips, correct? Would any of my items be able to reduce the price or do I still have to pay full? I do have the amount of money ready if I must pay full." Perrian said and brought out a bag of stuff. In the bag there was an Apprentice's Amulet, Shield, Seal Charm, Strength Potion, Combat Potion, Defense Potion, and a Goblin Patroller Token.

Bellamin's face twisted in pain as he dropped the bottle. ((Which was unaffected)) He tightly gripped his hand, not being able to feel anything except the feeling he was hit by a frost spell. Bellamin quickly put a foot over it so that it did not roll away and break.
