Tiana ducked inside, nodding hesitantly. "I think so...I just hope Kalo has enough sense to know that if he kills the fool boy Kite will hunt him down no matter what I do or say. I'm still just a student, after all. So..." She sighed. "Guess it's up to us to make sure no one ends up dead, at least." Suddenly she heard a rustling from her pack. She started and turned her head, sliding it off. "What the...oh. Um, s**t." She opened the bag and blinked, staring at the container of sand kept warm by a Flare stone in which an egg was rocking back and forth furiously. "Guess whatever's in there's ready to come out..." Suddenly she was rather glad she always kept some jerky in her pack. If this thing was carnivorous she wanted it to gnaw on something other than her.

Tiana had only half an ear on Vikki as she watched the egg as it moved. "True. Found it on the beach around here...didn't know what it was, but figured I'd see if it hatched." Suddenly she quieted as a crack appeared in the shell, grabbing a couple pieces of jerky. A piece of shell broke loose, and a tiny blue muzzle poked through, nostrils flaring as the creature inside rested a bit.

Vikki backed up a half an inch as to let Tiana get the first looks from the thing. She knew all about imaging and immprinting and animals. "Tis cute my friend."

Vikki caught the sounds of the battle starting to escalate and hoped that everything was ok. The last thing she wanted was for something to happen that would cause Tiana to go running into the middle of a chaotic mess.

Vikki smirked. "Very cute Tiana." She leaned back against the rocky wall of the cave and caught a small glimpse of the action on the beach. Geez, these two are gonna be dead before long

*He smirks to Kalo* Ah, but you're wrong. This blast wouldn't kill me. It would weaken you, because that's the secret of the Doomsday's Dropout. It will make us have even health, and since I can only stand one more hit. SO CAN YOU! *He takes his metal hand and punches the ball, the ball imploding between Kalo and Sigma, Sigma panting heavily, wondering when the hell it would all be over* I... can... beat... You... *His eyes were daring as the ball had shrunk enough that he could see Kalo's face, and in an instant the ball was gone.* Totally... Unavoidable... but... I... had... to... *He hears a noise behind him and turns* Who's there?! Is this another of your tricks Kalo? *He spots a man dressed in purple, his face shrouded by a hood*

He was right you know, I do want you dead.

*Sigma looks at his old comrade with tear filled eyes as the shock is sent through him, Sigma screaming in pain, smoke rising from his clothing after it was all finished. Sigma fell to his knees, then to the ground, face first. "He lost, was his luck finally running out?" He thought as he lie motionless on the ground. "Just a little rest, it's not my time to die yet." His eyes slowly close, the smoke still rising off his body. He'd put up a good fight, Kalo would be vulnerable for a bit longer at least.*

Davrick lowered his arm, watching Sigma fall in silence. "Help you?..." He echoed, shaking his head. "The sorceress only helps those who help themselves." He ended with heavy breathing. "Whatever it was Sigma used, it has quite an effect." The Seer remarked, resting on his staff. In reality, even if he wished it, he had not the strength to heal him after that unforseen attack. But mentioning that would only make himself look weak infront of the enemy, which could not be allowed.
"He must remain in intensive care for quite some time to recover, if he is to live. His life is in your hands." He turned his back to them, ignoring Tiana's struggle to help Sigma. "If your headmaster wishes to find me, he need only ask...I will know."
The raven cawed, taking flight once more. The Seer cast his hood over his head, a shadow fallen upon his face as when they first met, he peered over his shoulder slowly towards the fallen student.
"Sigma...remember...your fate is already written. You can never change what you are." Kalo told him, no longer holding himself up with his staff. The dark figure vanished instantly into the air, the raven above had glided out to sea.

"Damn you, I'm not done with you! Get back here!" Tiana screeched futilely at the area where Kalo had been, leaping to her feet as if to give chase. She slumped back down next to Sigma as Tidus chittered irritating, the flit wrapping his tail around her neck in a near chokehold. She sent soothing thoughts in his direction, and the tail loosened. "I don't know...we need to get him to the infirmary, though. Wait..." She thought a few minutes, biting her lip as Tidus fluttered his wings restlessly. "Think you could manage getting him back to Garden? I think...Kalo might come back if I'm by myself." Her jaw clenched. "And I need to talk with him."
