Naito Caliber DOA will be more popular cause there is a Halo character in it. Sadly, you're right. Well they needed something aside from the sex appeal I guess. 3D fighters don't do it for me though so I'll still pass. It's all button mashing in those. You could play those for years & still lose to a wild chimpanzee. Actually, Naito.. With DOA your very wrong, everybody who button smashes in DOA usually looses.. *owns DOA 3* You see, DOA has a unique physics and countering system. There Counters, grabs and blocks are all right there on the action buttons, usually a button smasher is constantly hitting Block, Counter, Or Grab along with there punch and kick, and it cancels out a ton of moves ^^;.. And actually, with 2d fighting games, i've played a whole ton, and i still feel you can button mas the hell out of those O.o.. I've beaten people buttonmashing everything from Guilty Gear to Queen of Hearts '99 O.o

DOA counter window is fricken huge compared to other games. And does like 1/3-1/4 total HP of your opponent if you do it right. And you can counter while being comboed as long as your on the ground. This one they cut the window in half for countering and will probably reduce the damage too. Ive only played DOA2 hardcore for the PS2 years ago. And FFXI is having problems someone keeps attacking the server. So people are having difficulty logging in and out. Since you cant log out people are saying its .hack for real. Cant use the Auction House cant search for other members which means you have to shout in areas for parties.  Found this in someone's sig on the website I usually go to for FFXI needs. I like being a BLM

Actually, im not biased towards Any fighter, but im usually negitive towards most at first..
I dislike Tekken because it feels rough...
I enjoy most 2d fighters, but i dislike Guilty Gear cause alot of the characters are just kinda.. Stupid..
My favorite 2d fighter is Capcom's pocket Fighter, with all the little jewels for powerups, that's always fun. biggrin
My Favorite 3d Fighters would be Soul Caliber and Dead or Alive. I love the intertwining of different characters and the strategic feel of SC, and i love DOA cause of all the sexy Shinobi and the incredibly smooth and rich physics engine. It's like every move has it's own interruption animation that just really makes it look believable.
