Hi, I'm Caitlyn.
I'm not a total beginner in Japanese, but I wouldn't call myself intermediate. I can read hiragana and katakana, and I know a few words, but I'm finding grammar somewhat baffling. I guess the Nintendo DS tutor can only teach one so much, lol.
It would be best to reach me by email. My address is sleepwakkawakka@gmail.com. I will currently be online guaranteed from 11:30am-2:30pm (PST) on Mondays and Wednesdays, 7:30am-11:30am on Thursdays, and 9:30am-3:30pm on Saturdays. However, these times will change when school starts in a couple weeks.

こんにちは皆さん！
1: あたしの名前はＫａｔｉです。ケーティと呼ぶことが出来る。
2: I am between beginner and intermediate. I know all hiragana, katakana, some Kanji (Thank you Chinese class) and all the basics. While doing this I will still continue my learning at smart.fm (formally known as iknow.co.jp) so I am always learning. (^-^) From that site I have recently learned about 400 words and about to start learning 200 more.
3: gaia messages is good for me, but maybe I could go to e-mails.
4. I am free all through the summer, but school is starting again August 24th (around there I am not sure) I have classes in the morning and on mondays I have a three hour math class... xp tuesdays and thursday afternoons I am free though because of the late math on monday I may be tired tuesdays. wednesdays I have morning classes and another class a little later, but I should be free between them. ((I may go back and get the time and translate them into Pacific time later, but basically I am free most any time that is needed))

2. Intro/beginner. I Have the DS game for Japanese, but the college I plan on attending does not have a course.. *sigh*
3. Gaia, MSN, AIM, WoW... I am not handing out my email.
4. I work at Taco Bell as the Crew trainer. I'm generally on every day, for several hours at a time. They are, saddly, random.

As for the hours I'm online, I'm not sure. I just go on when I have the time. I can try to go buy a schedule, though. BUT if my mother doesn't allow it, then IT IS NOT ALLOWED. ^^; Kind of embarrasing... but I think that's it.

2. Level: Introductory, probably, but I know a good number of words and I'm getting used to phrases.
3. Your preferred means of communication: email (origami.flowers@hotmail.com) and Windows Live Messenger (same email) though Gaia messages work as well.
4. Maybe even the hours you are usually online: Once school starts... afternoon and evening. Maybe two or three PM is when I'd be getting on, and I usually don't get off until ten or eleven, later on weekends or during holidays (those times it's between one and three AM).
If possible I'd like someone that can teach to an intermediate level because I'm not sure how much the class at school will be teaching me since it's a new class there and there are only two levels of it. Either way, I just want to get as used to the language as possible. (Another goal... hopefully this one isn't as hopeless as becoming ambidextrous seems to be... The only good thing is that I don't give up.)
