Ruby glanced at the both of them, and scooted closer to the bed. "Maybe I should stay here....just for a little while. I know she's a lyin' b***h, but I think Ora meant it when she said she'd keep me safe."

Blitz stopped as he heard Ruby. "..." He sighed and sat down on the bed. On one hand, he doubted this was the best place for her, with illusions and lack of food and all that. But on the other, Blitz was not one to rip someone from a place without their will. "Okay Ruby. It's up to you...

"Had you just let her answer for herself, I would have let it go." He grabbed the pillow case and spun it up into a whip(like you would a wet towel.) "But if you've been feeding her bullshit like that, I really don't know if I should let her stay."

Cresil moved swiftly, grabbing Ruby with his clawed arm and slamming her into the wall. Ora followed it with a pulse of nullifer, sending the knife into melted puddle. "It's what the Eldon said, I can have Drake verify this, if you'd wish, he'd rather see you dead than see you tainted by me. And if you remember he also wanted to kill you and Scarlet both."

Ora turned to Blitz. "If it's what you want, you're free to take her." She spread her hands in front of her, a peaceful gesture. "I will shut down the null field, and you can walk out, the same way you walked in, and this time with Ruby. I'm not the monster you believe me to be, despite the tales you've heard."

She turned back to Ruby, "please, Cresil, let her go, she won't harm me." The Griffin lifted his foot and stepped back a ways. "Ruby." Ora put a cautious hand out, and gently touched one of Ruby's curls. "As difficult as this is to believe. I meant you no harm. Yes, I do this in my own self interest, I admire your powers and crave them among my rankings, I won't try and lie about that, but despite my motives, I am concerned for your safety. However, I admit I didn't think this through. In the eyes of the AA, anything that makes contact with me becomes suspect and tainted. Be careful how you answer their questions, they will be looking for any piece of evidence to doubt you. If something should happen, if you get into trouble and need my help," Ora slipped something into Ruby's palm, "use this. You can contact me through it, I will assist you in anyway I can, or simply talk if you need it. Surprisingly enough, I find myself rather alone, and without friends far too often." She looked away briefly, her eyes glossing over, but the moment vanished quickly. "As for your son, humans do have a place here. Many work among us, and are accepted, and your son would be well cared for if you were to join us."

Ora stood up and lithely moved towards the door. "I'll go turn off the null field now."

Ruby nodded, and glanced at both Erica and Blitz, her grey eyes tearing up, "I just wanna go home, please just take me home."

The spark came to life, and the null field was indeed down. Erica glanced at Blitz. "Have you thought of what it is we will do with her after we save her? I mean, it's not like we can stay around here in Union if we're taking her out of this place."

Blitz looked back at Ruby. "We can do that." He looked to Erica. "Right? Won't be too hard."
