Raine nodded slowly. She knew what Sheena meant. "That's very mature of you Sheena." She took a seat near the two. "Taking a child in while governing the village of Mizuho." She shook her head. "Adventuring still on your mind?" She asked. She guessed that to cover up her stay at home boredum, Sheena had saught out other things to keep her attention off the adventuring days. A kid rarely promotes restlessness. Genis stayed quiet, fearing a second dose of Raine's wrath.

"Well... I was actually thinking about setting out again." Sheena said smiling, looking over her shoulder at Ichigo, who just pouted and moved behind Lloyd, not wanting to talk to the new comers. "Ichigo is getting older now... and he should learn how to fight and take care of himself out in the world. He always loved hearing about our adventures, and it's about time he went on one of his own."
Sheena's smile widened. "Not to mention that I miss the days of fighting and sleeping under the stars. Fancy dinner parties and political meetings are alright.. but that sort of leader stuff was always more of Zelos's thing."

"Leader? Zelos. That's funny." Genis scoffed at the mention of Zelos being capable at anything. "He just throws on a face and meets girls. I hardly call that being a leader."
Lloyd looked over, slightly bemused. "Could you do it? I mean, in front of one pink haired girl, you could barely construct a sentence." Lloyd was obviously talking about Presea, but Genis acted like Lloyd was the only one who had noticed. This caused a slight smile on Raine's face. Of all the brains Genis was capable of, he was still just a boy.

Sheena laughed a little but covered her mouth so Genis wouldn't notice. "Why don't you come say good morning Ichigo? Don't you want to meet Genis and Raine?"
Ichigo shook his head and held onto the back of Lloyd's suspenders, as if he thought that someone was going to pick him up and force him to say hello.
"That's not very nice, Ichigo. You have to be sociable if you want to be chief some day. You can't hide behind Lloyd forever..." She said, frowning slightly.
"I'm not hiding... I'm just... using him to keep the sun out of my eyes." Ichigo retorted.

Genis smirked. "Wow, Lloyd, He found a good use for your head." He laughed. Lloyd was about to get up and strangle the half-elf, but Ichigo's added weight to his clothes made it impossible.
Instead, Lloyd muttered darkly, "Watch it, Genis!" The threat was there, so the boy backed down. Lloyd shook his head, knowing full well he couldn't tell Ichigo to get off his back. Sure, Lloyd could force him to say hello, by standing up and swinging the boy in front of him. That wasn't the hard part. The hard part would be getting on Ichigo's good side, again.
Raine proved to sget the answer by standing up tall in front of Lloyd. Perplexed, the red-clothed one just gave her an odd look. In her best teacher tone, She addressed Ichigo, "Now, Young man, Get out from behind Lloyd and greet me."

Ichigo looked at Sheena and she simply looked back at him. "You'd better do what she says."
Ichigo reluctantly let go of Lloyd and stepped to the side of the swordsman, standing in between Lloyd and Sheena. He looked a little sheepish and didn't make eye contact but he held out a hand and said quietly "Nice to meet you, ma'am."
Sheena smiled and glanced at Lloyd.

Lloyd looked over to Sheena and caught her glance. Unsure why, he just gave a soft smile.
Raine looked down at the boy expectivly. After a quick assessment, she shook his hand and gave him a smile. "Nice to meet you Ichigo." She gave his hand an extra hard tug up, but nothing that didn't seem intentional. But the trick worked, as she got the boy to look up at her. She let go of his hand and looked over to Lloyd and Sheena. "So, were here to talk about Wyverns?"

"Yes, and we'll all have to do more than talking soon enough." Sheena said with a sigh and Ichigo settled himself in her lap, his eyes darting around at all of the grown ups quickly before settling on the camp fire.
"The Wyverns are becoming a real threat... and as heros, it seems like it's become our job to deal with them."
While Sheena was explaining the situation and telling Raine and Genis about the Wyvern attack, Ichigo leaned over to Lloyd and tugged on his shirt sleeve. "Psssst... Red. Red..." he said in a whisper "I want to ask you something..."

"I agree." Raine admitted, twirling her staff idly in her hand. "Although, I'd be uneasy with just us..." She admitted. "I mean, My Healing arts are effective, but against a bunch of Wyverns, I may need Regal's Healing Arts to help out as well."
Genis nodded. "I agree. I hate to say it, but we may need some help from Zelos too. An extra Meat shield is always nice." He said, smiling.
Lloyd leaned over, to show he was listening to Ichigo.

Sheena smiled. "I guess we're going to have to get the gang back together." She felt so happy that she was almost glowing. When she was a child, she didn't really feel like she fit into her community... she was an outcast because she had failed and caused a disaster that took innocent lives. She didn't find true acceptence until she was on the journey to join the worlds.
Even if she and her friends didn't always get along, they all knew in their hearts that they would do anything for each other. Even the self centered Zelos was willing to sacrifice himself for the good of the group... for the good of the family. Because that's what family is, isn't it?
"I can't wait for Ichigo to meet everyone." She said, still beaming.
"Sheena said earlier that she had to go back to Mizuho to get her cards... I was wondering..." Ichigo whispered to Lloyd, trying to make sure Sheena wouldn't hear "Could I stay with you when she goes?... I want to start training. I want to learn how to use a sword."

"That's fine with me. Just make sure to check with Sheena. Don't worry, I'll make it so you can take a Wyvern by yourself!" Lloyd whispered back to Ichigo. He gave a thumbs up in accordance to this. Sure it would take awhile, but taking out a wyvern was like an art more then a battle.
((In the game, hit it once and don't let it get back up. XD ))

Ichigo nodded, smiling. Then, he remembered it was Lloyd who he was smiling at and whispered "Don't think it means I'm your friend now or anything" in a very serious tone. He then started to listen to what Sheena was saying again.
"We should get prepared and gather all of our old friends. It might be best if we split up so we could get things done faster," the ninja said, thinking up a plan. She then realized, she wasn't the Mizuho Chief Sheena with her friends, she was just the clutzy assassin turned friend Sheena. "What do you think, Raine, Lloyd?" she also realized that Genis was old enough to have an opinion on it and after a short delay asked him as well. "Genis?"

"'Course not." Lloyd said, finishing their conversation. Turning to Sheena, who just addressed him, he was quick to answer. "That's plenty easy. Split up. Raine, you should probably stay here and tend to any who are sick and wounded, it's not everyday that the best healer in the world happens upon a town with a statue of her." Lloyd admitted. Raine nodded slowly.
"Your right Lloyd, that's a good plan. But you left out Genis with me. What are you planning?" She said, sharp as a tac.
Lloyd smiled. "Your right Professor, I need Genis to head to Altimira and check in with Regal, and get our Rheairds back. He's the fastest, ever sense he found out how to use his spells in a less practical sense." He muttered. Genis smiled and rubbed the back of his head - a trait picked up from Lloyd - and gave a small thumbs up. Raine didn't look to pleased, but she knew what Lloyd was talking about.
"Sheena, you need to go back to your village and inform them of everything, and everything else you need to do there." He finished up. "And if it's alright, Leave Ichigo with me. He wants to learn how to use a sword and this is some good downtime for him to learn it." He explained. He leaned back on his hands a little. "That's my plan, anyway."
Genis smiled. "Not a bad Plan Lloyd. When did you start using your brain?"
Lloyd smiled. "When you stopped to look at Presea!" He started to laugh, and even Raine had to stifle a giggle. Genis went red with embaressment.

Sheena laughed and then said with a smile, in a mocking voice. "Yeah, both of you have grown up so much."
Sheena looked to Ichigo who had gotten up and started messing with the now burning out fire, so he wouldn't have to join in on the conversation. His plan didn't work. "Ichi-kun... Do you want to stay with Lloyd?"
Ichigo didn't look up but he answered in a very serious voice. "I need to train... you understand, right?" He seemed really upset... he had never been apart from Sheena for the past three years. "It's just what I have to do, Sheena..."
"Ichigo... you don't have to." Sheena said, reaching out to touch his shoulder.
He smacked her hand away and ran off a bit, turning to her once he was a few feet off. "I want to get strong like you and Lloyd! I can't do that if you keep babying me!" He then ran off, rubbing his eyes on the sleeve of his dress shirt which he was still wearing from the meeting with the mayor.
The ninja sighed and sat back. She looked at Raine with a small smile, "You always made it look so easy... I really admire you."

"That's because Genis is my little brother. If I smack him, it isn't child abuse. It's sisterly-love." Raine said wittily. Lloyd smiled at this, even though Genis was not impressed.
"And the daily murder attempts were okay?" He asked, tapping his foot impatiently. Raine turned to him with a quizzicle expession on her face. Genis pulled a face. "Your cooking!"
Lloyd shook his head and turned to Sheena. "Don't worry about Ichigo, I'll watch him." He looked to where Ichigo took off from. "It's hard on him to have you leave without him, but I think he knows he has to get more independent." He related. "I should know, I watched Genis do the same thing." He said, whispering the last part.
