The vampire awoke, and sat up with a stretch. She glanced at the still sleeping MK beside her, and ran her fingers through his hair before kicking the covers off, and slipping her feet back into her boots.
She nosed around the laboratory instead of heading straight out for once, tugging on her labcoat, when something caught her eye. She picked up a small bottle, read the faded label, and with a quick look back to make sure the Captain was still asleep, snuck it into her pocket, and exited to the Main Level.

*The boss woke up, and sleepily slipped on his boots. He moved over to his coat, and took a look at his watch while putting it on. He realized that he was expecting mail today, and then ported out*

Nalini phased back into the lab, kicked off her boots, pulled off the labcoat, and clambered into the bed, wondering where MK had gone. She closed her eyes, and had drifted off into a dreamless sleep within minutes.

*MK entered the lab on a soft ray of light, and crawled into bed with Nalini. Even if it would only be a short while, he still wanted to be there when she awoke. He gave her a gentle kiss on the cheek, and held her softly, careful not to wake her up.*

Nalini yawned and rubbed her eyes, opening them to find an arm across her chest. She looked over to its owner and smiled.
