woopdidoodoo Dawn grinned and let Buffy get away with ruffling her hair that she takes forever with looking after. "Cool... that would be great then" she grinned when Buffy almost said sex. " You know you can talk to me about that word Buff" she giggled as they headed back to the kitchen. "Sandwhiches would be great" Dawn nodded. "Buffy and Angel sitting in the tree, k.i.s.s.i.n.g" she sang teasingly. It was good to be friends again as she knew that Buffy was going to Europe and Dawn would have to be more responsible. "First comes the love, then comes the marriage and then comes the baby in the baby carriage" she laughed and sat at the kitchen table with Faith and a new guy. "Hi guys" she said, Dawn was in a better mood now and was glad that she had gone and gotten the milk earlier. "OOH another one of my fave songs" she said and went to turn the radio up slightly. It was Robbie Williams 'better man', she started singing along to it. "I'm Dawn" she said to the new guy after she finished singing. ((i hate quoting)) Buffy states simply, "Babies". Oh crap... cuz she knew she wasn't on the pill. She had forgotten why they were in the kitchen and she nearly sat down at the table, when she noticed Dawn taking out the bread. Right. Sandwiches. Buffy got out the cold cuts.

Dawn looked at him and grinned "I can take you shopping, I love shopping" she said and realized why he was here and who he was. "I would like a coffee" she piped up. Dawn loved it when poeple made her coffee as it makes her feel special. "White and one?" she said as she wandered what she was going to do today She spread butter on the bread and finished making sandwhiches for whoever wanted them.

Amy sighed, and walked up behind her. What had she expected? "I deserved that. I'm sorry. But a lot has happened since Sunnydale..." she hung her head. "Can't we at least talk? We used to be best friends. My treat." She smiled. "I'll even get you a scone." She had enough actual money to cover it. If Willow let her talk, it probably wouldn't do to then immediately steal from the establishment.

Andrew nodded, giving the cups to the two Slayers and Dawn. Buffy seemed a little out of it, but he figured she could take it or leave it. "That sounds great, er... I don't actually have any money." He smiled at her a little weakly. "Just tell me when you want to go." He popped another orange slice into his mouth and started to gulp down his tea, then sputtered and spit into the sink. "Oh yeah..." he muttered, "Hot. Got it."

Willow put in her order, paid, and then took a stool at one of the high tables, thinking, Jeez, these look just like the seats at the Bronze. She looked at Amy. "Whatever, Ame, I'll hear you out. But it better be good. Cuz I am. And you never wanna cross me again."

Faith finished up her pizza, and began cleaning off her spot, as Andrew brought over the tea. She dumped her plate, the crust remaining from her pizza, and grabbed the milk and sugar, coming back to her spot at the table. She sat quietly after making her tea, and stared out the nearby window.

"Cool well I am ready whenever you are" she grinned at him and finished her coffee quickly. "I know the best places to shop and they are cheap to" she said."Hang on, I will get you an old top" she said before heading to her room and getting one of her old surfwear tops as it was the only male clothing she had. She also got him a pair of male sandals which she had found in the back of her wardrobe and handed them to him. "Here you go" Dawn said.

Amy paid (actually paid!) for her coffee, and sat in the stool across from Willow. "Wow, where to start..." she put her finger tips together and looked towards the table. There were various nicks and scratches in the surfacetop. Some of them looked like faces. She continued to stare at them as she talked. "Well, after Sunnydale was gone, I backpacked across America. Learned a lot of stuff about dark magic... not using it, I mean." she looked up and tried to make eye contact with Willow. "Just what it can do to you. Any magic, really... I knew how addicting and dangerous darker magics could be. I mean, I went through it, right? But there was this one girl who had gotten way too into the lighter side of the art... it wasn't pretty." she shuddered a little inwardly, paused a moment, then went back to looking at the table. "I don't cast nearly as much... only when I have to, or for holy days." It was a little bit of a lie, but it was true that she had been casting less. She smiled. "What about you? How are things with that Kennedy girl?"

Willow had no earthly idea what to say, and when she saw that the guy at the counter was beckoning her, she got up and got her food. Taking it back to the table, she gathered herself. "Um, well... I'm glad you're supposedly not using the darker side of the magicks.. but I'm sure you understand if I don't believe you." She processed everything else Amy had said. "But what about the lighter side? What could possibly happen there? Too many bunnies?" Which made her think of Anya and .. sad. She ignored the topic of Kennedy, and instead slathered butter on her scone.

Buffy grinned and grabbed the bag, saying "Presents! I love presents! Unless it's a mummy hand...." She then cautiously reached into the bag and pulled it out. Grinning from ear to ear, she jumped at Angel for a hug, murmuring thank you over and over and slathering him with kisses.

Dawn whispered to Buffy if she could make a loan for Andrew as he needs new clothing. She waited for Buffy to answer and thought well if not then she could always just use her own money as she has no life to spend it on anyway. She grinned at Andrew and thought a shopping spree would be great. Dawn bit into her sandwhich and listened to the banter from everone else and waited to hear what Buffy had to say.

Upon putting on the top and sandals, Andrew smiled at Dawn and got his keys. "Ready?" he asked, and made his way to the car parked outside. This felt good. Weird, but good. It had been a while since he'd been a part of any gang, except for the Watcher's Council, and they weren't the kind of gang that take you shopping.

After spending the day shopping with Andrew she had been able to get to know him somewhat. They came home with bags of shopping and Dawn had even gotten herself some new clothing which she needed. She grins at him as she dumps the shopping bags in the entrance of the mansion. "That was fun" she enthuses as he follows her to the kitchen.

Amy shrugged. "It wasn't really that different then what happens with darker magicks. They just took control of her. She had been a priestess and had focused on cleansing things mostly, but she started to use magic for everything. I guess she just snapped. Decided she wanted to "cleanse" the entire town of sin... I'm assuming you can guess how she ended up going about that." she sighed, still concentrating on the tiny little faces looking up at her. Then again, how had she expected this to go? She should of just gone straight to the shop. "Listen, sorry. I guess I thought it would be nice to see an old friend, I don't really know anyone here." She dug around in her bag and pulled out a pad of paper and a pencil, then scribbled down her number on it. "If for any strange reason you want to talk about anything, though, just call me. Room 413." she gave her once-friend a parting glance and left, leaving her order forgotten. Once she was a block or so away, she ducked into an alley and muttered a quick incantation to take her back to her room. She was depressed, all of a sudden. She needed some hard magic. "A little ironic," she thought to herself, "considering what we just talked about..."
