Dark Regrets Shuici7 I was reaching out, crying out and asking for help, and I felt nothing but emptiness. I was christian/catholic, i don't really remember which. I went to a catholic church So this may be a bit easier for me. Finding God is hard work now. Not because He left you, or not because you don't deserve His love. It's because of sin. Of satan. The road to light is blocked for you. If you are from a Catholic Church, I think it would be best if you went in to pray. The Church is a central point for your struggle to begin. You don't have to go straight to Mass- go in, pray a little, listen to what you have in your heart. If you don't feel up to that right now, pray in your room. Or go straight to the source of some of your sins. Finding God is a process of letting Him have access to your heart- by wanting to find Him, and by wanting Him to forgive you, is the best way to become stronger in faith. It's already a step that you wanted Him to help you!! if you want to go right into it head first, ask a Priest. He'll clear up things much better, and he may be able to help you with your baby steps- it's like learning to walk again. It's important you find support in the Church. But if you don't feel ready, the best thing is to seek comfort in prayer. If you let God in, you'll find things get better gradually. Look for little miracles you can build on. Love the sinner, but not the sin. I don't even know what my sins are.

Online bible: www.biblegateway.com
It even has a search feature. If you want a modern translation, I recommend the NIV.

Kuroi Kokoro no Mendori Shuici7 I don't have a bible. And I remember hearing about something in it saying that you can't wear clothes of 2 different matterials/ Christians do not follow that ceremonial laws of Leviticus. (which includes 18:22 and 20:13) It seems kind of like nit picking when you say that. You say its a sin for someone to act on homosexual urges, but you decide that you can ignore that one rule about not wearing clothes of two different matterials. It would make more ethical sense that if you say it is god's word that homosexuality is a sin, you should also follow the clothes rule.

I believe 18:22 and 20:13 are part of the ceremonial law. Moreover, there is debate as to whether Colossians 2:13-17 fulfills all of Leviticus or simply the ceremonial laws. I'm only pointing out what has been completely proven: Ceremonial laws do not need to be followed.

How do you think I would feel if I broke up with my boyfriend and "followed jesus"?

Shuici7 Okay....I guess.....but we're not here to discuss technical writing Yes, we are. The technical writing is very important to whast is said in Leviticus and Romans, and the bible's position on homosexuality.

Ar-ca-nus It says in Deuteronomy 22:5 " Women are not to wear men's clothing and men are not to wear women's clothing; Th Lord your God hates people who do such things" That's right ladies so it's back into skirts and dresses for the lot of you. although i'm at a loss for what that has to do with homosexuality. That seems more geared towards transvestitism or possibly in adn extreme sence towards transgenderism. neither are directly linked with homosexuality.
