He smiled, unable to keep himself from giggling once the big scary lion started purring like a kitten. He nuzzled Coen's back, and continued to rub his shoulders. "Y'know, you're going to end up falling asleep like this, kitty-cat."

"I know," Coen mumbled sleepily, rubbing his face against his arms in a vain attempt to keep himself awake. "It's your fault, you know. You're just so sweet and cute. And I swear what you do with your hands is magic." With a sigh, he relaxed even more, his tail still stroking Jazz's side but more slowly as time passed. With his mind hazed with sleep, he spoke without thinking. "You should come stay with me. I could get used to this sort of treatment.."

He giggled a bit, smiling at the sleepy lion, still massaging his shoulders gently with his alleged magic hands. "Yes, I suppose it is my fault, but I don't think it's because I'm sweet and cute," he giggled, kissing in between the lion's shoulder blades again as his tail flicked down and wrapped around Coen's. He blushed a bit at the kitty's last statement, but he couldn't help but smile. "I'd love to come stay with you, Coen. I love to give massages, especially to you. It's so cute when you purr," he giggled again.

"Yes it is," Coen murmured. "You're so sweet and cute that you put me at ease. I feel so comfortable with you even though we just met today." The more he talked, the softer his words got until they were barely above a whisper. When he heard Jazz say he'd love to come stay with him, Coen blushed and asked, "Really? I'm glad for that, too. But, even if you hadn't said you'd like to come stay with me, I would've found a way to get you all to myself anyway.."

His ears twitched a bit, reminded that they just met today, but somehow it didn't bother him. He smiled, amused at Coen's words and how they kept getting softer and softer until he could barely hear him. He giggled softly at the lion's next statement, kissing his back again. "Oh really? How would you have done that?"

"I'm not sure," Coen admitted, more than half asleep by now. "Probably would've slung you over my shoulder caveman style and took you home that way," he said then he smiled and added, "Kiss my back again please. I like it when you do that, Mousie."

Another slight blush bloomed in the mouse's cheeks, and he planted another gentle kiss on Coen's back. "Well maybe you can carry me like that sometime, since you didn't have to this time," he giggled again softly, placing another kiss on the lion's back, still working his magic on Coen's shoulders.

"Mmm, sounds like a plan to me," the lion rumbled before the capacity for words left him entirely and he started to drift. His breathing evened out and slowed then little snores started to escape, making it obvious that Coen had slipped off to La-la Land.
And who should come downstairs just then but the terror himself, Eli. Rubbing at his left eye with a little paw, he trundled down the stairs, his tail dragging along limply behind him. At first he didn't notice the two older hybrids laying there on the couch but one of his over-large ears caught the sound of Coen's snoring and he turned to look. "Wha'cha doin?" he asked of Jazz, wandering over and clambering up on top of the sleeping lion with the mouse.

He smiled, still gently rubbing the lion's shoulders. His ears perked as he heard someone small plodding down the stairs, and he looked over at the young foxboy. He smiled at him, poking his nose gently. "I was giving Coen a massage, and he fell asleep. You slept for a while, too, I think it's just about dinner time." He got off the lion, lifting Eli off too, then searched for a blanket. Finding one, he carefully laid it over the slumbering lion on the couch, and knelt down to be eye level with Eli. "What d'you want me to make for you?"

Eli wiggled his nose then smiled brilliantly at the mention of food. He yielded easily as the mouse lifted him off the lion, swishing his fluffy tail around while he watched Jazz cover his large playmate with a blanket. "I dunno," he answered truthfully, shrugging. "Somethin' yummy!"
Coen sighed and snuggled under the blanket, one big hand reaching out to grab a throw pillow then pulling it in close for a hug. "Mmm, Jazz," he murmured, smiling.

He giggled at the lion, then held onto Eli's hand and led him into the kitchen. "Hmm... Something yummy, something yummy... How about macaroni and cheese? I can make it home-made, if you'd like!"

Elijah's eyes lit up at the suggestion and he nodded vigorously. With the enthusiasm only children can muster, the foxchild informed Jazz that he loved mackencheeeez. Truth be told, anything involving cheese was alright by him..

Giggling again, he picked up Eli and set him on the counter. "Okay, you can watch me make it, then!" He said as he got out all of the things he needed for it, beginning to make it. "I guess you really, really like mac and cheese, then."

"I do!" Eli chirped, swinging his legs to and fro so his heels tapped the cabinet door set into the side of the counter. "Coen duz too. He eats lots, tho'," the little fox said, holding his arms out to his sides to show just how much Coen liked to eat.

"Oh, okay!" He giggled, preparing the cheesy dinner. "I guess I'll have to make extra, then! Maybe he'll smell it cooking and wake up!" He giggled again, tail flicking behind him.
