*Li'ad landed at the top of the waterfall, barely able to maintain a decent cloud and transform to his human shape in the state he was in. He wasnt injured very badly, but he was drained beyond anything he had felt in a very long time. The light apparition creature wasnt especially skilled, but it was powerful, and only the strongest of his ice spells penetrated the heat of the creatures raging aura. It was as if the creature was new to its power and unable to fully control it, yet it had as much magic within it as he did. This just reinforced the idea in his mind that the creature must have been created by the light beings somehow and released in response to the shadow demon. But why would they set such a thing loose if it would be as much a danger to the people as the demon itself was? He had used almost all the magic within him for once, and for once he felt almost too drained to continue thinking about this. For now, he took a seat on a rock at the top of the waterfall to gaze down on the glowing lake and ponder.*

Sten nodded as he stepped into the open area of the clearing. "Alright," he said, stretching idly. "Let's do this."

"Yes." Vincent agreed, then sighed a bit before removing his shirt. Stepping away from Sten, he let out a roar, needing the adrenaline rush it would give, and transformed, again turning into a dragon, his left claw the same diamond his hand had been.

Sten grinned and readied himself, his feet sinking into the ground slightly. "Your move Sparky."

Rolling his great shoulders rather lazily, Vincent crouched down, lightning crackling over his fangs as he studied Sten. Then, at this point still more interested in gathering data on how the man fought than anything else, he opened his maw and sent a bolt of electricity towards the man, at the same time lashing out with his spiked tail; if it connected, the spike on the tip would dig itself into Sten's left knee.

Sten raised his hands and a wall of stone rose to both block the lightning and block him from Vincent's line of sight as he slid quickly backwards, stopping just out of reach of the man's tail.

Snorting when Sten disappeared from his sigh, Vincent heaved upward and took to the air. Lazily, he circled above the clearing; after doing so several times, he suddenly dived at Sten, claws outstretched.

Sten stumbled slightly to the side, putting him in perfect striking distance for the artificial claw.

Letting out a roar that also released another surge of lightning at the man, Vincent slashed at the man with said claw. He realized only belatedly, when it was too late to stop the movement, that Sten had created it, and there might well be reason refrain from using it over much in this fight.

Sten grinned as the lightning inexplicably diverted towards a patch of ground several feet from him. At the last second the claw wrapped around Sten firmly encasing him.

Vincent let out a hiss as the lightning was diverted, but at least he now had Sten in his grasp. Flapping his wings hard, he began to lift up, trying to pull the man from the ground and into the air, where he would have more of an advantage.

Trying to take to the air, Vincent would find his new claw securely part of the ground.

Vincent let out another roar, this one full of annoyance, mostly with himself. He struggled with the claw, even thrashing about though he knew it would be of no use, one eye fixed on the other man.
