Through the comlink, Kayako could hear Rain's slow breathing coming through. This was going to be harder then she thought, but they still had to hurry. There was no telling how long they had before the building was destroyed.
She got herself ready for launch. Resting at the controls, she relaxed as the panels closed around both her forearms, locking them in place on the handles. Lights came on, and the radar appeared on screen. The sky was clear, and there were good trapar readings. If she could get Rain and Eden off the ground, they could be out of there in no time.
"Rain, can you hear me? Senturi can tow you, but you need to take off by yourself, or we won't be able to get you in the air!! Are you gonna be able to do that? Look for the controls on either side of you, that look like handles."

"ONE MINUTE...." At this Point, Gray was comfortably viewing the world from behind Mecury's controlls. Not bothing to wait for the stall gate to raise, Gray bashed it aside and tore it from it's moorings; winging the bent metal aside with a crash. "So far, so good....Let's see, the fins are repaired, the armor's okay, the board's reconstructed, and..." Gray's eyes became cloudy. "And...A..N...D....Nnnggg! NO!" Gray jerked violently, rejecting the vemous touch re-sufacing in his thoughts. "NO, NO,NO! GET OUT-!" Mercury bolted into the main hangar floor, sprinting for the exit. Halfway there, it's armor shifted and it's body colapsed in upon itself; a second later there was a screech of rubber and a burst of afterburner. Gray vioce apeared on the comlink window of the other two mecha, but no picture; vioce only.... "Go,C-come on! We...Got to go!...huh....hufff..." Gray's vioce was strangely ragged...

Rain became more alert at the sound of Kayako's voice. She looked around the cockpit and located the handles Kayako told her about. She slowly put her hands on them and gripped her fingers around them.
A strange feeling flowed through her when she made contact. She couldn't explain what it was, or really how it felt. To her, it seemed like some sense of familiarity; like she had known Eden all her life. That did not make sense, however. She had just met it, for crying out loud! Or... maybe like... rightness? she pondered, trying to figure it out.
Shaking all of that away, she spoke, hoping Kayako would hear. "Ok... what next?" she asked.

'Gray you idiot!!' she thought.
She looked to the comm again at the sound of Rain's voice.
"Ok, you need to get to vehicle mode! That's a right turn on the handles, I think. After that I can tow you!'
Senturi collapsed as well, transforming itself. The black and violet vehicle sped forwards, stopping at the enterance to wait for it's friend. If they hurried they could catch Gray before he got too far away.

Rain nodded. "Alright," she said to herself. "Right turn on the handles." She tightened her grip on the handles and turned them to the right. Eden detached from the dock and started to change from its humanoid shape into one resembling some strange vehicle.
"Ok," she said. "Now what?

Kayako kept an eye on Rain, making sure she was doing alright.
"Ok, now, engage the thrusters. There should be a button on or next to the handles for that. After that, you need to drive over here where I am, and then transform back so we can take off......."
She scanned around for Gray, finding him on the radar up above them in the air. Shifting the controls, Kayako transformed Senturi back into it's normal form, readying it's board for a quick takeoff once Rain and Eden got there.

"Y-you mean that when I press them..." Rain began. "I'll just... go forward?" Rain looked around for the button for the thrusters, finding it on the side of the handles for the thumb to press without the hands needing to come off the handles. She was hesitant to activate the thrusters until she knew exactly how this button worked.

(((By the way...this isn't 'official' of anything...I have no idea where all the controls are!! I'm making this up as I go....dun hurt me! >.<)))
"Yeah...that's it!" Kayako tried her best to explain it.
"Those turn on the thrusters. You control speed with the pedal on the floor. When you want to stop, just let go of the thruster button. The ground isn't slippery, so you should be able to stop no problem! And once you get over here, switch back to normal mode the same way as before, ok?"
They needed to hurry.....There was something up with Gray again....

((Works for me. razz I'll have the rest of the controls figured out later. I already kind of have an idea about the guitar playing, though. razz Damn... I really have to figure this out... I wish Rain had a third arm or leg! xd ))
Rain nodded her head. First, before pressing the thruster button, she looked down at her feet for the the pedal. There were three of them. Why don't they label anything? she questioned worriedly.
Thinking she'd just have to wing it, she pressed the thruster button. Eden took of with a jolt, knocking Rain against the back of the seat. When she got out of the hangar, she let of the button. Eden came to a halt a little ahead of Senturi.
Rain was breathing heavily. "O... ok..." she said, still unnverved by that experience. "Now what?"

Rue's radar lit up at the three LFOs. "Nic! Mark those three, make sure that you don't take a hit. I don't know what kinda airspace we're in so stay close"

Kayako held back her laughter; this was not the time to make jokes.
"Alright, now change back, the same way you went into vehicle mode. After that, follow my lead."
Turning back to her own controls, Kayako took hold of the handles again. Senturi grabbed it's board and ran forward out of the building. At the end of the military launch pad, it threw the board out in front of it and jumped on hovering for a split second in the air. Catching on the trapar, Kayako and Senturi shot upwards, riding the waves into the sky.

Rain nodded. She watched Kayako launch Senturi into the sky. She looked with wide eyes, amazed by the feat. Getting back to what she had to do, she turned the controls the left. She felt herself being rose as Eden took its humanoid form once more.
She was at a dead stop again. I think I should try walking first... she figured. Her eyes scanned the cockpit for anything that would seem like it would make the LFO walk. They fell upon the pedals once more, which gave her an idea. She put each foot on the ones directly infront of them. Pressing down on the right one, she felt Eden lurch forward. She pressed the left one and it lurched forward again. She began to press each at a time, making Eden walk forward. Well... I got that down, for the flying thing...
((And I still need to figure that out... Board or wingthinys like the Beams's... oO`))

(((Hmmm.....I say wingies. That'll give you an advantage in zero-trapar zones....and your guitar coupled with that let's you mess with enemies while you remain fine!!)))
Senturi's radar went wild. Two unidentifies LFO were in the area, about 300 yards away. They didn't seem to be enemies, but at that distance, it was impossible to tell just who it was. Kayako wanted to make sure Rain was in the air so they could get out of there is there was trouble.
She looked down and zeroed in on Eden.
"Hmm....Rain, your LFO is different than ours. I think you have jets instead of a board....but the controls are about the same. The handles control you body movements. That's how you move around in the air. If your LFO has jets, then there should be another button like the thruster one that ingadges them!"
Kayako looked nervously at her radar.
"And hurry it up, we got company!!!"

((Okies, wingines it is. But.. I thought those worked like boards, by using trapars or something... right? oO` Well... let's say the jets will be when there ain't no trapar.))
Rain nodded. She was more nervous than ever. Rain could tell by the sound of Kayako's voice that something was bugging her. Hastily, she searched for the button to activate the jets. "Well.. here's a button..." she said as she found one on the left control handle. Her thumb made contact and pressed down.
She felt something on the back move. Looking behind her, she saw two long, thin wing-like things detach from body. A green light began to eminate from under and grew stronger. Before she knew it, Eden was blasting off into the sky. She wanted to scream, but couldn't; she was too frightened. Remembering the handles, she turned them, which made Eden turn.

"YIPES!!!"
Kayako turned Senturi to avoid being hit by the fast-moving Eden shooting upwards from the ground.
"R-Rain?? Ya might want to slow down!! Turn the handles over, that's how you hover!!"
She didn't want to draw any more undesired attention to the three of them. The two LFO's in the distance were getting closer, and if they were indeed enemies, they would surely notice something amiss if Rain and Eden kept flipping around in the sky.
