He nodded and followed behind her. "It may be best if we remain incognito." His eyes lifted to the sky. "They were attacked by Ninja, and I fear that contrary to Nyl's best efforts, they may still be hesitant to offer their friendship to Nin they do not know."

"Yeah...I guess my eyes are a give-away." She laughed softly and dropped the Byakugan. After a few blocks, she'd glance again. Otherwise she was free of any ninja attire, except for her Konoha pendant...but that didn't really mean anything unless one was from the village. "You don't think people will ask us who we are do you?"

"They may. But we're Nin. Most of our lives are centered around lies, as it is." He smiled at that thought, almost a sad smile, then turned back toward the half-city. He whistled aimlessly, pocketing his hands. Resting against his scarf was a solid white bandana-like fabric. It had many functions, but to keep drawing the wrong kind of attention their way, he kept it where it was.

"I suppose it is." She said with a soft smile before chuckling. "So what's our story then?" She arched a brow at him as they continued on down the sidewalk.

"Just passing through," he said, turning and watching a few people pass by. He smiled and bowed slightly in acknowledgment, then turned back forward. He frowned some. "We need to find a place to use Byakougan again."

"Well, we can duck into an alcove or something...if all else fails just hug me since I can see through you with it." She shrugged, hand drifting to her stomach absently as she side-stepped an over-turned crate.
She was hungry but that could wait until after they found Eli.

"Well, if anything, I think we should start off by taking a quick break." He began to walk at an angle. "I'll get you some water. Go examine the side of a house for a few seconds to see if you can see anything." The sentence seemed absurd, but he really meant hide in an alley and use Byakougan.

"Yeah...sure." She smiled at a passerby while answering Seph and ducked into a near-by alley. Just for safety's sake, she crouched as though tying her shoe so that her hair fell to obscure her face.
"Byakugan." She whispered and soon was lost in a world of gray...with a very familiar figure off in the distance. Cancelling her bloodline, she stood again, straightened her jacket and moved back out to the sidewalk to wait Seph's return.

He returned with a bottle of water and a few apples. He handed her some water and an apple. "Anything?"

"Yeah...she's in an inn about...three football fields to my left." Nami said after moment, accepting both items with a smile. "Thanks for these." She added with a nod before twisting the top off of her bottle as they started to walk again.
Every so often, Nami would covertly use her Byakugan to make sure they were on the right path and after what seemed like an eternity they came up to a newly renovated inn. It looked comfortable enough but not terribly expensive. Nami needn't ask for Eli at the desk by this point. She could detect the girl's signature without Byakugan.
After a short flight of stairs they came to a stop outside of numbered door. Nami raised her gloved hand and knocked.

She jumped a little bit at the knock. She'd just gotten back to her room, and she hadn't expected anyone to come by.
She walked to the door and looked through the peephole.
...What are they doing here?
She didn't want to open the door. She'd left, and she wasn't so sure she wanted to be dealing with anyone there.
But then again, she also knew that they obviously knew she was here.
She took a deep breath and opened the door.

Nami could tell the instant that the door swung open that Eli wasn't exactly exstatic to see them. " Hey." She greeted softly. "We just came to talk. We'll leave once we've debated our point...I promise." Nami's white eyes were surprisingly full of emotion while she spoke, still standing in the doorway. She glanced back at Seph.

Seph remained silent. Nami had control over this mission for the time being, and until he was needed, he knew it would be easier on Eli to get their opinion from one person, than it would be to get the same opinion twice over. He didn't want her to feel ganged up on. He smiled at Eli in greeting, wanting to wave, but restrained himself.

She stepped aside and let them in, and said "ok" softly. She wondered what exactly they had to say.

Nami stepped into the modest inn room and removed her gloves, casting a quick glance around. "Would it be okay if we sat down?" She asked.
