With a thought, Kyna called her wind back to her, from the forests where she'd sent it. "Uck," she murmured. "I forgot how annoying it is to walk with this thing. Don't know why I bother." Her wind swirled around her lazily. "Why am I here? Oh, right, to kill boredom. So, think you can lead me to a decent bookstore?" The wind took off, turning right at the next crossroad, and continuing on. Kyna followed happily.

"Oooo, looks like a nice store," Kyna said when the wind stopped. She walked into the store and started to look at the old, dusty books that were inside. "Oooh," she breathed. "This one's out of print. And this one's rare!" She almost squealed aloud, happily, but stopped herself just in time.
The store owner walked up behind her. "Can I help you, miss?" he assked.
"Oh!" Kyna exclaimed, whirling around. "Yes, please. I'd like these books." She held out three books. "How much do they cost?"
"Hmm." The man took the books and examined them. "Usually, I'd charge a hundred for them. But, since you seem to like books so much, I'll give them to you for fifty."
Kyna's face lit up in a smile. "Thank you!" She dug the money out of her primary purse, in the pocket of her skirt. "Here you go." Humming softly and carrying her new books, Kyna walked from the store. "Hm, let's see, where was the inn again?" She looked around, trying to remember and failing. A wind picked up and led her down an alley. "Short cut?" Kyna wondered aloud. She shrugged and followed.
Partway down the alley, she heard someone laugh. "So easy," a voice said. "Call up a wind and she follows it. How naive can you get?"
Antoerh voice responded, "You're tellin' me. I can't believe she actually fell for it." Two men jumped down from a ledge a ways up the building next to Kyna.
She kept walking, thinking to the wind, Come on. You don't really want to work for these guys, do you? They're jerks. Thugs. Help me, not them. I promise I'll be nicer than them. Her gentle cajoling didn't seem to be working.
"Ignoring us, eh, missy?" the first man said. "That's not very nice." He grabbed her shoulder.
Kyna whirled around, but she really couldn't fight.
"Spunky, are we?" man number two asked. He grabbed her other shoulder. He slipped a hand into her pocket and grabbed her purse, tossing it to his companion.
"That's it?" the man with the wallet said. "There has to be more."
"As you likely know," Kyna said huffily, "I just went to the bookstore. I spent most of my money on books." She clutched the books to her chest protectively. "I haven't got much money. Why don't you go find someone else to rob?"
"That can't be it," the man holding her shoulder said. "She parted with the money quickly enough."
Kyna cursed inside her head. How could she have been so stupid?
"So, girly, where's the money?" the first man inquired. "Up your skirt, maybe?" He started to slide his hand up it, but was cut short. "Oho! A dagger, eh? I suppose you can't use it so well, or you'd have pulled it out before." He unhooked it and pulled it out, unsheathing it. "Hm. Good quality, but plain. Very nice."
Kyna's fist clenched. "Are you trying to get on my bad side?" she hissed, her eyes narrowing. A strand of wind, not under the command of one of the petty thieves, slipped in near Kyna. She jerked her hand, and the small breeze jerked the dagger from the man's hand and into his chest. "Having fun now?" Kyna asked innocently. A thought sent the wind into the other man's mouth. It came out, along with any air that had been in his lungs. The little wind snatched away any air that the man tried to breathe in. In a matter of minutes, he was lying on the ground, dead.
"Hmph," Kyna said. She walked off, not looking back once.
"Hm," Kaiya said from her vantage point on the building above where Kyna had been attacked. "Not bad. Not bad at all." She stood up and followed the girl down the alley.

Roze walked down the street still in her lovely blood red dress walking in a much cleaner enviorment. She stopped when she heared about an assasinaion, smiled as she kept walking knowing she was getting close. She would find her in the morning though as she turned to a tavern to prepare for the next day.

Kaiya stood up and stretched. "Well, I can find the little wind-witch anytime I want," she said. "I wonder who else lives with her?" She went down a conveniently nearby flight of stairs, which seemed to have simply fallen apart most of the way down. "As long as my legs don't break, I'll be fine." Kaiya jumped. She landed lightly, but she could still feel the shock go up her legs. As always, it didn't hurt. But that didn't mean she didn't feel things that should've hurt one hell of a lot. "That wasn't so hard." Kaiya walked into the inn.

Rose yawned as she awakened. She dressed herself in a pair of black pants with black roses embroed on the botton and a dark red shirt on she had died her hair black leaving a mess in the sink, didn't pay as she crept out with her bag. She hid her bag somewhere so she could retrevie it later prepare herself for the mission and went to find the young child as she carried the black roses. "I have a deliver Kia, and It's death...." she chanted softly with the look scary enough to kill a person.

"I'm not a lady," Kyna said, laughing as the wind played with her unbound hair. "I love being outside," she remarked. The wind changed direction at the next intersection. "This way!" She turned with it.

Sora smiled. "Every woman is a lady in some aspect..." He muttered watching her 'play in the wind'. The walked after her, watching as she went.

Kyna reached the alley where she'd had the run-in with the two thieves. She hesitated, apprehensive. "It has to be bad luck," she muttered under her breath. "Has to." She walked in. And started screaming. "Aaaaah! They're walking!" She pointed and started backing up. "But--but--but--!"
"Something wrong, miss?" someone said from nowhere. A small man peeked out from behind one of the upright corpses. Another man, who looked similar enough to be his brother, looked out from behind the other. "We're the local coroners. Someone reported that two men had been killed here, so we came to take the bodies away."
Kyna took a deep breath. "No, nothing," she replied hastily. "Just, you don't see dead people walking every day." The man who'd been stabbed was deathly white. The other, who had been suffocated, was blue-ish. "Yeesh. You shoudl put warnings up when you're toting dead people around." She shivered and moved aside, letting them pass.
"I wonder what can suffocate a man without leaving any marks?" one of the men asked the other as they walked passed.
Kyna watched them go. "That was scary," she murmured to the wind. "I hope I never do that again." Shaking her head to clear it, she looked to see where Sora was.
((n.n" It was just too fun to resist.))

The whole time Sora stayed just a few steps behind Kyna. Following her to the bookstore as she went. Slightly noticing in the back of his mind, that she seemed to be following in a way the wind. As they reached the alley way, Sora's eyes went wide in shock as she began to scream at the two bodies. Taking a step back so she didn't bump him. Instinctively his hands went to his daggers, and the kit's eyes began to glow a redish color. But then once realizing that they were dead already, the two of them calmed down quiet a bit. The kit's eyes turning to normal, and Sora's hand relaxing. But still had his hand slightly over where the daggers were. He sighed quietly as he heard Kyna start to say that the men should put up signs when they moved the bodies. "Almost seems like a good idea..." He muttered quietly behind her. Then began to look at the bodies they were talking about. The one was clearly stabbed. Sora had seen those bodies enough to see that. But the second was a lovely shade of blue, as if he were drowned, or sufficated. Sora looked at the man's neck, and from where he was could see no indentation or indication of a wire or rope or anything for that matter, that could do that to him. Maybe it's where the man died? He thought quietly to himself. And yet something in his mind said, not likely... He shruged it off slightly to the back of his mind then, watching as the men passed. His quick ears then catching the ending of Kyna's sentence. Hope she never does what again i wonder... He thought to the kit as he watched her slightly. Do you think... The kit began. No. I can tell... She's not like us, or them... the only way i could see her doing that is if it was in some sort of self defence... and even then it really isn't any of our business kit. leave it for the local authorities. Sora thought back to the kit. "You alright?" He then asked, as Kyna turned to look for him.

"Oh." Kyna turned around the whole way. "Yeah. Fine. It's just really weird seeing dead people walk." She smiled sheepishly. "I'm not usually that flighty. I guess I'm just jumpy today." She shrugged. "Come on, it's not too far from here." This part she remembered. You can go now, she called to the wind. See you later. It circled her once and flowed away. She caught a strand, wrapping it into her hair, where it could stay hidden. "Coming?" she asked Sora as she started to walk.

But they weren't walking... I mean if she really wanted to see dead people walking... The kit began with wide open eyes. Shut it kit... was all Sora thought without even looking down at the little kitten. "Aye I suppose it is strange for some people to see the dead walking..." He murmered, feeling the wind seem to wrap around them. With a small sigh, he calmed down almost the rest of the way, and took his hand away from where some of his daggers were. Slowly relaxing some muscles in his back and arms as well. Before they got stiff, or anything like that. "Aye, I'm comming. Just lead the way..." He then said. Following Kyna as she walked towards the bookstore she spoke of.

"That's strange..." Sora said. "I've never heard of a bookstore to close in the middle of the day... 'Course they could just be on lunch for a while." He then added with a smile. Or maybe the zombies broke in and killed and ate... and muti... the kit began almost inocently. Kit... please... there are no zombies here. And i'm still full from what we ate earlier. I would perfer not regeratating that... Sora told the kit sternly. "Hmm... some place to go..." Sora murmered, tilting his head upward in thought. Then suddenly something very bad poped into his head. His eyes opening wide, and a vib going to the kit as well. What's the matter? The kit asked worried. We were very close to Solstice when that mist came over us... What if Azreal got wraped up into it as well. Or anyone else for that matter.... He told the kit, keeping his body calm so that Kyna didn't notice. The kit twitched. Appollyon... It thought. It's eyes slightly wide, with a not so good look in them. Exsactly... Although I'm more worried about Azreal and Shannon at this point. Sora thought back. "Do you know if there is a tavern i think by the name The White Tiger near by?" Sora finally said. Trying hard to remember the name of the tavern he and his best friend once owned. And hoping that that might be the name of it.
