Hello! I'm Jackie, 16 and a juinor in high school. I just started getting into plays at the start of my sophomore year, and I have no idea why I didn't start sooner! I was on crew for my school's performance of A Midsummer's Night Dream, I was a slave in Aida, and just finished (last night actually) being a smoking nurse, an actress (love the irony) and a painter in City of Angels; and in December, I'm going out for Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead!
I love more than theatre of course...like, for example, music -- and especially Show Tunes...oh crap...that's theatre!...lol No, I love all kinds of music, with the expection of Rap/Hip-Hop/R&B...everything else, I love. I also write, I'm working on my first screenplay right now...it's not that easy!
Anyway, feel free to hit me up, I love to talk too! mrgreen

Hey I am Raina Lily. I actually never acted but just loving going to Theatres/Musicals. I have been to Broadways shows such as Phantom of the Opera, The Music Man, Aida, Les Miserables, and lots more. For Off-Broadway, Blue Man Group, and others I can't remember right now. I have been singing though since the age of nine years old. I also took private voice lessons for five years. That is pretty much it for now.

Hi, I don't feel comfortabler posting my real name, so you can just call me Brilliant or Idiot, though most people choose the latter. I'm a freshman in high school, and I've been in a few shows which I don't feel like mentioning at the moment. The first musical I saw on Broadway was Wicked, but my all-time favorite is The Last 5 Years.

Hi, I'm Anneko, 23, theatre major in college. I mostly act, though I enjoy dancing and singing (singing I mostly do for myself-- I'm not the best sweatdrop ). I love musicals and straight plays-- if you asked me for favourites, I could come up with a list, but not one or two single favourites. I do adore Oscar Wilde, and of course, William Shakespeare. And on the musical side, Sondheim and Schwartz are a couple of favourites. Okay, gonna stop before I really ramble...
Backstage, I enjoy helping out in the costume shop, and have assisted other actors with makeup. I directed a one-act once, but... never again. Directing is not for me. Right now I'm teching for a show--today I painted some flats.
Outside of theatre, I love film, art, literature, and music, and cats. I'm the proud 'mom' of a lynx point birman mix named Mohinder. I'm also a gamer (RPGs) and a comic book nerd and otaku. And I think that's absolutely everything about me. Whew!
=^__^= Anneko

Hey guys, I'm 22. I switched to theatre from art in my sophmore year of college and thusly will be going back for my fifth year because I suck at all the GE things, this summer. I'm in theatre for the script/screen/playwrighting aspect but I dabble in everything. Scenic painting and costume design are faves of mine as well. I stage manage, house manage, make posters and programs and basically run around like a chicken with my head cut off most of the time. I own a set of work clothes that I keep clean, but every other item of clothing I own, no joke, has paint of some kind on it. I was in art for illustration but I paint and sculpt fairly well as well. I am currently working on a screenplay I intend to finish within the year. I've been writing a science fiction novel since junior high. I love to rp also and I've rped things like Beauty and the Beast and Brigadoon. Fiddler on the roof is one of my all time favorite musicals and I own almost every animated Disney movie there is. ^^
In high school I had secondary parts in My Fair Lady (which is an uber fave of mine) and the 3 Musketeers. I painted backdrops for Mouse Trap and for Annie Get Your Gun or got your gun or whatever it's called, gah it's been so long >.<
I've helped make sets in college for Romeo and Juliet, How I Learned to Drive, Translations and sadly some more recent ones that I don't remember the names of because I've taken a mental health break, year off of school, can't wait to go back though!
Lol that sounds like a resume but I just felt like sharing, thanks!

Hi every one smile My name is Mitsu and I'm 26 (old on here, I know...) and I have been involved in amateur theatre for 16 years. I have done pretty much everything there is to do with ami theatre, onstage and off, and i much prefer to be onstage... but that's my forte.
Im a professional street performer, but haven't been for long, and I make a crust, albeit a small one, by being a sim patient for med students.
I also love to make short films, but i prefer to be behind the camera...
my favourite play is: 'someone who'll watch over me' by Frank McGuiness... if you ever get the opportunity to see this play done well... i recommend it, it changed my life.
my favorite actors would have to be Sir Ian Mckellan and Dame Maggie Smith... consummate performers.

Well, hi. I'm The Tendo Ninja and I'm seventeen years old. I've been in theatre for, well, longer than I can remember. I love every aspect of it more than I can put into words! In those rare free moments of time, I like to play video games and read.

I'm Briella, a sophomore in high school, and you can call me Ellie. I am absolutely addicted to theater (not an exaggeration). I live in the music wing of my school (not my house). The sense of community you get from theatre is just beyond comparison. My fave musical is definitely Sweeney Todd, and perhaps Rent.

Hi everyone! I'm 20, a junior theatre and english major, and a HUGE drama geek. Pretty much all of my friends are drama geeks as well. My favorite musicals are Les Mis, Rent, Jekyll and Hyde, and Avenue Q (but I pretty much love them all). I like classic plays, like Shakespeare, O'Neill, etc, but I'm also getting into more modern stuff lately, like Carol Churchill, Doug Wright, Martin McDonagh, Tracy Letts, Neil LaBute, Adam Rapp, and many others.
Acting is my passion, but I'm trying to expand into other areas as well because I think ALL the parts of theatre are fantastic heart . I'm stage managing Intimate Appareal next semester at my school and I'm really excited about it, as well as working on a student production of Lonesome West. I'm also trying to get into directing, playwriting, and dramaturgy in the near future. Looking forward to talking to others here with similar intersts biggrin
