"Alright." Itazura said confidently, getting into position at the trunk of the tree once more. Latching onto the bark with all the remaining strength he had, he quickly scrambled up onto the tree without stopping once to the nearest branch. Mizaku's strategy had worked, or so it seemed. Yawning once more, he settled himself on the branch and quickly dozed off, snoring lightly.

*being rather small for her age she whinnies happily. Starting a dash she finds herself straying away from the group. Only to be chased after and stopped by another adult."where do you think your going young lady". foldeing her ears back wards she looks up at her moms face."umm.. i was just off to the watering hole...yeah..". Giveing her mom a cheesy smile she finds herself being nudged back towards the sleeping herd."i dont think so.. its night.. their are other on the prowl. besides its bed time.". Sighing milia slowly hooved back towards the herd where she nuzzled next to her mom. before closeing her eyes she sent a wink towards fedha, as if saying, next time. Lowering her head she sleeps contently against her mothers warm fur*

((kk bye! ))
Fedha prances after and is to stoped by his father who nudges him hardly. "get back over to the herd!" fedha fights his father playfully then runs towards the sleeping group only to then spot a lion prowling, his eyes widen as his pink muzzle flares. his tail wags, but then his father snorts and shuves his son down. "if you sleep now, they wont bother us, i'll keep watch" fedha sighs as his head lowers, and his eyes slowly droop down.

Laio suddenly lifted her head of her paws, blinking in the sunlight that no covered her as the shade had moved round the great tree. She had slept for far too long! She scampered to her feet, looking back at the silver lion, who was still snoozing. As she headed over to tap the pride-cat with a black-tipped paw, her stomach gave an annoyed grumble. "Ciyari, time to move," the cheetah said solemnly, stretching out her paws in front of her and yawning.

It's nice to sit here and rest, in the heat of the day, under the massive tree. The valley rolls out before them, beautiful as ever...if starting to get a bit brown with the lack of water. Ciyari loves this spot. It's one of her favorite spots in the entire valley. She plays idly with a little beetle that meanders on by, tapping it gently with a paw, then flops her head down upon the ground. A soft breeze tugs at her fur, cooling and refreshing. She gives a cheerful, contented little sigh.

The cheetah cub tried again. "Ciyari, I'm hungry. Time to move, maybe?" She ran a little way down the hill, and then back up to the shade where the lioness lounged. "It's a nice view, but views aren't food..."

A muffled grumble. The silver cub raises her head, looking rather irritable. "I'm comfortable," She complains. Even though she's dead hungry, it's a sensation she's used to...so she can ignore it. She gets up onto all fours, sighing heavily. The cheetah cub had a point, of course. "Coming, coming," She says, ears folding back as she trounces along after Laio.

"I vote hunt, then see these pretty caverns, if you want to," the cheetah said generously, striding forward with a lot more confidence than she felt. Plans went through her mind... to hunt, you had to catch the preybeast by the throat, right? And hang on? But catch it first... it would be weird with the pride-cat helping. She'd never really thought about two cats chasing one prey, but it made a weird sort of sense... Ciyari could hide on the opposite side and stop it running somewhere, and she could chase it. Yes, that sounded right. Of course, it would have to be quite a small preybeast...

"Okay," The cub says, surprisingly peacefully. She must be in a good mood to resist arguing, or perhaps she's simply very hungry. Her ears tip upwards. "What shall we hunt?" She asks this as if she were the one in charge, and graciously giving Laio the choice...when in reality, she has no idea how to hunt, or even what they can hunt for their size and stature.

Laio pretended to ponder for a while as they made their way back down into the forest. "Well, first off we have to find some preybeasts. Then if there's a little one, we can attack it... I don't really think we have a choice until we find some! Did you see that eland yesterday? Maybe there's some more... but they're quite big. I don't think we would be good at that unless there was a baby." Laio blinked a little, not liking thethought of killing a baby, but then her stomach complained again, and she shook the feeling off, holding her head higher than she felt.

The tan leopard yawned, his tail flickering a bit as he awoke. He stretched his legs, leaning back on his hind legs. With a deep breath and hopped to a different branch to look over the leaves. Mizaku crawled to the edge and watched the grassy plains. His eyes moved swiftly, shifting his view over to the dead eland. It was still there, but a few vultures were pecking at it.
"Hey!! Hey get away form there!" Mizaku shouted, jumping to a low branch and then to the ground. He swiped at each of the vultures until the flew up, only to land down again and start eating. "Stop it!! Go away!! This is our food!!" the leopard insisted, jumping at one of the birds. It bit him on the tail and he soon let go form the pain. The others conitnued, not feeling very threatened at all by a small tree-cat like Mizaku.
"Shew!!! Leave you stupid birds!!!" Mizaku ordered. He tried to snap at one again, but they squawked and crowed, snapping their beaks at him. He ran to the tree, not climbing but just standing under it. Mizaku growled and hissed, crouching to a pounce position. ...aw what's the use he thought to himself.

Ciyari personally thinks even teh baby elands would be too tough for her to tackle, but she decides against saying so. "Yeah, maybe. Or maybe some hares!" She perks up considerably. "They're fast, but they're small, an' if we confused 'em enough..." She should probably stop talking soon so they can actually find something to eat. "You lead the way, an' I'll...I'll be rear gaurd. Keep quiet, maybe we can find somethin' and surprise it, in that case, I'll try goin' around to the back, since us lions are excellent stalkers an' all." She hears noises in the distance; bird calls. A possible carcass, perhaps? She stops, listening hard. "What's that?"
