Every Dir en grey song is good.
A lot of people say they changed after like...Vulgar or Withering...but Dir en grey is ABOUT changing. That's what they do. They're always trying something different. If you don't like that about them then you don't like them. Sorry.
How can anyone not like Marrow of a Bone? Listen to Namamekashiki, the pledge, ryojoku. The emotion in these songs is so incredibly strong.

The emotion in these songs is so incredibly strong. Those are individual songs, not the entire album, and they are vastly different from the other tracks. For a while I saw quite easily why people didn't like the album, though, now, the songs have grown on me.
That isn't to say I dislike this or that era, I like them all, and I greatly disagree with those people who b***h all the time about how Diru 'sold out' or whatever. They are about evolution, they've stated it time and time again that they're constantly growing and changing.

mm...I can't really say the 'worst' songs..but I can say the best...b/c I think all their songs are good~ <3
The best for me are:
Mushi - esp. when it is performed live...I can't help but to cry...
Raison D'etre - the guitar part is so awesome...
Child Pray - It is so catchy...lol
Cage - the song that is always a best...<33
Ain't Afraid to Die - different from the rest, but still a wonderful song...

Best? That's way too hard. I like nearly all of their songs. Worst, on the other hand, would be Pink Killer. It sounds way to cluttered. There's really nothing musical about it. The only thing I liked about it was the sounds Kyo made towards the end. XD

One of my favorites is Mr. Newsman. "In my head a blue fish has just died." That line makes me happy like you won't believe. I also like Embryo, Kodou, Mushi, The Final, Ash, Child Prey, Cage, Jealous Reverse, Audience Killer Loop, Amber, Garden, Jesus Christ R'R, Concieved Sorrow, The Domestic ******** Family (FOOCHA!), Mercilous Cut, Agitated Screams of Maggots, The IIID Empire, R to the Core, Obscure, Amber......
Wow, that's a lot. There's more, but I can't think of anymore right now.

My favourite would have to be Machiavellism. Don't really have a least favourite at this point - the ones I don't listen to as much are the ones I don't learn the names of.

I was going through my ipod the other day because i wanted to add some new songs. And with all the sadness of my hearth i had to erase some of Dir en Grey's songs. So I erased all the Kai album, because is CRAP! And the IIID Empire which i kinda hated for being so repetitive.

My favorites are:
Jealous -Reverse- Cage Yurameki Ash Unknown...Despair...A Lost Fukai Toguro
Of course I like almost all of Dir en Grey. But those songs are on the top of my list. heart
One song I dont really like at all is Agitated Screams of Maggots. To me it sounds to much like American hardcore/metal. It's almost as if it's lost it's true Japanese feel. But that's just me. :B Although...I still rock out to it at concerts...
