Mokona smiled back to Yuko. "Yes! Mokona will use his secret 108 techniques to teach the students!" he replied. "But Mokona isn't sure what to do now that the students are in a different class..." he confessed, looking towards the ground (which wasn't too far from his face anyways...).

Yamazaki stared at Chiharu, his mouth gaping open. How...how could she ask such a thing?! Was she not afraid that he was going to rip her face off?!
Kurogane was surprised and slightly amused to see that the girls seemed to take to him better than the boys. The guys seemed to be rather petrified of him - well, except for that one dark-haired boy with glasses in the front row. He seemed rather unpreturbed. The girls however were generally almost annoying perky - something he hoped to cure with lots and lots of running. One girl, however, was different and treated him with a respect he rarely saw towards gym teachers before seating herself besides the boy in the front row. Hm, she was an interesting one...
Suddenly, another girl spoke up, asking her about his name. Kurogane stared at the pigtailed girl as if he had never seen anything quite like her. Well, at least she had spunk.
"You're right, I'm not," he replied in a gruff voice. Deciding he might as well get this over with, he stood and barked loudly, "If I catch any of you so much as whispering that ridiculous name printed on your schedule I swear you will be running laps after school for the next three months." He cleared his throat once. "As for my proper name, it's Kurogane."

Yuko scrunched her face in thought, "I believe that the science teacher has a free period currently. Have you met him yet? I'm sure that the two of you would get along very nice." Yuko said with a smile.
Watanuki looked down at the schedual, "Kuro-wanwan...Kurogane..." He tried the two names out for himself, and decided for a fact that Kurogane fitted the large man that stood in the front of the class.

The teacher seemed to be...a little on the upset side. Most men like him would probably be upset with such a name on the schedule, true, but it seemed more than that. Did he have a rough morning or was Himawari reading too much into it?
So his real name was Kurogane. Now that she knew how to refer to him, Himawari raised a delicate hand. "Kurogane-sensei? What will we be doing besides running?" she inquired.
Mokona gave the idea some thought. It would be good, after all, to make friends with some of the other teachers. "What's science teacher's name? Mokona might want to meet the teacher..." he asked.

"His name is Fai D. Flowright." Yuko said, remembering the information she had read on the teacher earlier. "He's probably in the science labs right about now."

((lol, Phiso I have to ask, was Yamazaki's eyes still closed when he gaped at Chiharu?))
Chiharu nodded. "Hai, Kurogane-sensei. I shall call you that!" She grinned at Yamazaki who was looking at her in shock. "To say the least, I'm considered straightfoward." She said to him. She imagined running round the track a hundred times every day. Fun.... But Kurogane-sensei also had a shinai. Chiharu had never learnt kendo, it could be fun if they learnt it!
((edit: whoops... I wrote "couldn't" instead of "could" *scribble scribble* fixed it!))

((Um...hm, that's a really good question. How would one gape with closed eyes? *ponders* Then again, Yamazaki manages to cook without opening his eyes, and well, too...Um...all right, in this case, he DID open his eyes *GASP!* but only Chiharu noticed. blaugh Oh, and the stick is called a shinai or something, I think.))
Yamazaki felt Chiharu's description was a bit understated, but chose to say nothing. Smiling a rather relieved way - thank goodness he didn't eat her! - he replied softly (in case Kurogane had good hearing), "I'm glad you didn't get in trouble with Kurogane-sensei, Mihara-chan. He looks terrifying." He wasn't sure if Mihara was too formal considering it was their first day, but she seemed so nice he didn't think she'd mind the -chan.
Kurogane looked at Himawari for a moment before opening his mouth to answer. Just then, the bell rang, and Kurogane figured it was time to start anyway.
"Before I begin, I'm going to tell you right now to get a good look around, because the seat you just chose will be your seat for the next term." He took out a seat of paper and handed it to the boy with glasses in the front row ((who(m?) I am assuming is the first person, pretty much, in desk order)). "Write your name down on this sheet of paper on the corresponding desk for attendance. I don't want to have to waste time every day checking roll."
As they did so, he went on with the lesson plan. "To answer the question asked before the bell, we will cover track, kendo, various team and individual sports, archery, and if we have time I might cover basic gymnastics and martial arts. We'll also go over health curriculum, so don't think if you're good at sports you'll breeze through this class." He gave everyone a stern look. "You will be tested on the human body and its maintenance throughout the year."
Heading back to his desk, he took out the roll call sheet. Scratching out the -wanwan and scribbling in -gane with a frown, he surveyed his class for a moment before looking down at his list. Calling out the names one by one ((we'll make roll quick)), he quickly went through roll, though he noticed with a frown that there were two Sakuras and two Syaorans. Weird.
"Everyone named either Sakura and Syaoran stand up," he said with a frown, wondering how he would fix this problem. Dammit, couldn't parents give their children original names? Though to be perfectly honest, Syaoran wasn't exactly common...

((lol, great Kurogane post! Oh! And thanks on the shinai concept, I'll change it after this post))
Chiharu smiled at Yamazaki. "If he wanted to get me in trouble, I would have run far away 30 seconds ago!" she whispered. "And call me 'Chiharu-chan'! It's cuter!" She received the sheet of paper and wrote very quickly, Mihara Chiharu, then passed the sheet on to Yamazaki. She was grinning as she passed it to Yamazaki. Did Kurogane-sensei say gymnastics? That was Chiharu's best sport. She had done cheerleading before and had gotten really good at gymnastics!

Himawari blinked a few times, trying to figure out if the teacher was telling the truth. He didn't seem the type to lie...but martial arts? She had been pretty sure that was not allowed, after all, students could get hurt easily and try to sue the school. But whatever the teacher said...
Mokona nodded towards his employer. "Fai-san is in the science labs. But Mokona only knows how to get to Mokona's room..." he confessed, although not truly embarrassed. He had only been here a few times before to set up his English room, and then he had only had to visit a few rooms.

Syaoran politely did as he was told and stood up, smiling sweetly at his teacher. He was a little embarrassed about this, and he had that nasty "it's your fault, you're being a burden to the teachers" feeling though he knew that it wasn't his fault and there was nothing he could do about it.
The barely younger Syaoran stood up as well. He glared a little at the other Syaoran. Who the hell was this guy? He looked a lot like him too... Maybe this was another prank being pulled on him. Well, it turned out that his english teacher, Mokona, wasn't a prank, but... this school was just way too weird.

"Ohayou gozaimasu, Kurogane-sensei!" Sakura said, standing up from her seat with a smile. This was starting to get amuzing, seeing as the two Sakuras and the two Syaorans looked so much alike and had the same name.

"If you want, I can take you there?" Yuko suggested, "I could use a bit of time to talk to the teacher myself." The headmistress decided suddenly.
"Well, shall we go?" Yuko asked, glancing down at the small creature.
