Victor Cross enters the ring, the crowd looking psyched for this special match. "Ladies and Gentlemen, the following contest is a special challenge match scheduled for one fall!"

Forgive her...For she knows not what she does.

The lights in the arena dim completely to a dark blue shade as these words are uttered over the sound system, the haunting chords of "Christian Woman" by Type O Negative filling the arena. Purple smoke gathers at the top of the ramp, obscuring everything below the BarTron.

A cross upon her bedroom wall
From which she will fall
An image burning in her mind
And between her thighs...

As the main beat of the song kicks in, the purple mist slowly dissipates at the top of the ramp, leaving behind a flock of holographic ravens covering the curtains. A few moments later, the ravens disperse, leaving Ravena standing behind them, a huge cheer erupting from the crowd at that. Ravena smiles, then begins to make her way down the ramp, high fiving some fans and blowing a kiss at others, the dark blue lights sweeping over the arena in time with the song. "Introducing first, from Queens, New York, she is an Archetype of eXcellence...RAVENA!!!"

As she reaches the ring, she hops up onto the apron, slipping a leg through the ropes and keeping herself upright, looking out over the crowd for a few moments before moving through the ropes fully. She blows another kiss out to the crowd, then heads over to her corner, leaning back against it as the song fades out, ready for her opponent.

The lights in the arena cut out again before a voice is heard over the speakers, heavily synthesized.

Who is this irresistable creature with an insatiable love for the dead?

LIVING DEAD GIRL!!!

Pyro explodes at the top of the ramp as the lights become a red of pure blood and evil.

What are you thinking about?...
What are you thinking about?...
Everything you are!!!

Black pyro rains down from above the tron as Hika Lai makes her way out through the curtains and stands at the top of the ramp, looking down over it to the ring where Ravena awaits. As the first verse of her song plays, she points up to the sky and thrusts her waist out, then begins to make her way down to the ring, ignoring the endless boos and jeers that come from the crowd. "And her opponent, from Durem, Gaia...HIKA LAI!!!"

Once she reaches the ring, Hika pulls herself up onto the apron and puts a leg through the second rope, slowly slipping into the ring before straightening up and walking to the center of it, looking over at Ravena for a few moments with a gleam of insanity in her eyes, finally heading back over to her corner, but not bothering to lay on the top rope this time.

The ref checks to make sure both women are ready, then steps back and calls for the bell.

DING DING DING!!!

The two quickly begin to circle around the ring, finally coming to a stop at the middle of it as Hika begins to exchange words with Ravena, probably some kind of insult, but we can't hear from the ring. Ravena seems nonplussed, not here to make fun of her opponent. Finally, Hika throws a punch at Ravena, who quickly ducks and catches Hika with a right hand of her own, then pulls her into a Side Headlock. Hika quickly moves backwards to the ropes and runs forward to push Ravena off of her into the opposite set, quickly falling to a prone position and forcing Ravena to jump over her as she rebounds. Hika runs up behind Ravena as she heads to the opposite ropes, but Ravena hops up onto the ropes and backflips off of them to land on Hika's shoulder, spinning around to grab Hika's arm and take her over in a Quebrada Arm Drag! Hika's quickly back up onto her feet, but Ravena leapfrogs over her as she comes back, falling down onto her back on the mat and lifting her legs up to catch Hika with a Monkey Flip as she comes off the ropes! As Hika gets up to her feet on the other side of the ring, Ravena runs forward, jumping up and TAKING HIKA OVER THE ROPES WITH A CROSSBODY!!! The crowd is going nuts for the insane action here, the ref quickly moving over to the side of the ring as Ravena and Hika get up on their feet on the outside. Ravena quickly rolls back into the ring, running across it as Hika gets up, but sees that she's ready for her at the last minute, and manages to grab the ropes as she goes over to land on her feet on the apron. This doesn't stop Hika, however, as she pulls Ravena's legs out from under her and tosses her down to the floor! Ravena lands hard on her back, the crowd booing that. Hika stomps Ravena a few times, then lifts her up to her feet, grabbing the back of her shirt and pulling her over to the corner of the ring before throwing her headfirst into the steel steps! Hika lifts Ravena back up as the ref demands they bring this back into the ring, rolling Ravena under the bottom ropes into it, where Ravena lays on her stomach. Hika climbs up onto the apron, then grabs the top rope and throws herself over with a Slingshot Swanton onto Ravena's back!

Hika takes a few moments to taunt the crowd after that as Ravena clutches her lower back, her momentum having been taken away now by the harsh attacks from Hika. Ravena lifts Hika up to her feet, knocking her back into the ropes with a chop and grabbing her as she comes off of them to connect with a European Uppercut that knocks Ravena back down to the mat. Hika lifts Ravena up to her feet, pushing her against the ropes and going to whip her across the ring, but Ravena reverses it and sends Hika into the ropes instead, jumping up and connecting with a Dropkick to her face on the rebound! Ravena runs off the ropes as Hika gets up to her feet, flipping backwards to go for a Handspring Back Elbow, but Hika ducks the elbow and wraps her arms around Ravena's waist, falling backwards and countering with a Back Suplex! Ravena cringes and clutches her back as Hika gets up to her feet, picking Ravena up as well and pullilng her into a Front Facelock, bringing her to the middle of the ring and lifting her up before falling back in a Vertical Suplex, floating over for the cover. "1...2" Ravena kicks out. Hika picks Ravena back up to her feet, whipping her across the ring and catches her as she comes back into a Tilt-A-Whirl Backbreaker! Hika quickly hooks the leg for another cover. "1...2..." Ravena kicks out. Hika looks a little annoyed with the ref for not getting a three count on that, but ignores it, standing back up to her feet and picking Ravena up, slinging her arm back and locking in an Abdominal Stretch. Every so often, Hika brings her other arm over and scrapes her forearm across Ravena's eyes with a Crossface, working the stretch as much as she can. The crowd boos this heavily, and Hika finally brings Ravena up to hit a Pumphandle Backbreaker, once again going after the lower back of her opponent. Hika pulls Ravena back as she rolls away, going for another cover. "1...2..." Ravena kicks out, and Hika brings her hands up to hold in a Knucklelock, trying to pin Ravena from this position. "1...2..." Ravena gets a shoulder up, and Hika follows this with a few more pins, mounting Ravena in an attempt to keep her down, but Ravena gets a shoulder up each time. Finally, Hika swings her legs up to try and put her whole weight down into her hands for the pin, but Ravena brings her knees up and pushes Hika to a standing position, kipping up to her feet and pulling out of one of the Knucklelocks as she hops up onto the top rope, springing backwards and using Hika's arm to spin around her neck and pull her into a CUTTHROAT TORNADO DDT!!!

The crowd pops huge for that, Ravena not going for a cover quite yet, instead taking some time to rest her back, now getting back up to her feet and running across the ring as Hika stands up, coming back to nail a Dropkick that sends Hika through the ropes and out of the ring! Ravena comes over near the ropes, running across the ring to a set of perpendicular ropes and pulling herself off in a TWISTING SPRINGBOARD PLANCH-NO! Hika rolls into the ring, but Ravena manages to grab the top rope and land on the apron, only to have Hika stand up and connect with a Dropkick of her own that sends Ravena down to the floor! Hika takes a few moments to recover in the ring, then heads to the outside and picks Ravena up, whipping her back-first into the steel guardrail. Ravena cringes and falls to a sitting position, but Hika picks her right back up and pulls her back over to the ring, rolling her into it. Hika follows in, walking over and grabbing Ravena to pull her back into a Camel Clutch, crossing her arms under Ravena's neck and wrenching back hard in the submission. Ravena cringes, even more so as once again Hika slashes at her with Crossfaces, but Hika finally breaks the hold after it's gone a little while without any signs of tapping out from Ravena. Hika stands up and brings Ravena up to her feet as well, pulling her into a Standing Head Scissors and flipping her up for a Powerbomb, but instead pushes Ravena's legs down off her shoulders and grabs her arms and legs, locking them together and bending down to lock in a Gory Special! Ravena cringes once again as her back is stretched out heavily by the submission, trying to wrench away and get out of it, but Hika has it locked in well. Ravena shakes her head each time the ref asks her if she wants to tap out. Finally, Hika loses grip on one side of Ravena, and it's enough for Ravena to swing over and pull Hika into an Arm Drag. Ravena tries to catch Hika with a Dropkick as she stands up, but Hika side steps, and follows it up with a Dropkick right into the back of Ravena's head as she lands in a seated position. Hika stands up, grinning a bit at that, then pulls Ravena up and Gutwrenches her onto her shoulder before dropping down into a Canadian Back Breaker, pushing Ravena off. Hika then grabs Ravena's head and thigh, placing her knees against her back, then rolls backwards and pulls Ravena up into a Bow and Arrow hold! Ravena won't tap out, no matter how hard Hika wrenches back with the hold, though, and she finally releases it.

Picking Ravena back up, Hika whips her into the ropes and catches her with a Flying Leg Lariat, dropping down over her and hooking the leg for another pin. "1...2..." Ravena kicks out. Hika seems to be getting angry at this point, wondering what she's going to have to do to Ravena's back to get her to stay down. Picking Ravena back up, Hika pulls her over to the corner and smashes her head down into the turnbuckle, turning her around before connecting with a European Uppercut. Ravena falls down to a seated position in the corner, looking dazed. Hika pulls Ravena back up and connects with a hard chop, coming back in with a right hand, but Ravena blocks it and hits one of her own. Hika goes for another punch, but Ravena blocks it again, this time coming in with a flurry of punches to Hika's jaw, switching places in the corner and hitting a few more before going to whip Hika across the ring, only to have Hika reverse it and pull Ravena forward right into a Toekick. Hika then turns Ravena upside down, placing her back on the corner, this time in a Tree of Woe. As Ravena hangs there, Hika follows it up with a Dropkick right into her face, the crowd booing this, Ravena hanging limply in the corner. Hika grins, then walks all the way across the ring to the opposite corner, grinning before running forward and going for a Stinger Splash in the corner, but Ravena suddenly leans up and grabs Hika's waist, lifting her up and tossing her up over the ropes and out of the ring! The crowd cheers loudly for that, Ravena hanging herself back down and clutching her stomach, having used a lot of abdominal muscles to be able to do that, but still has to bend upward again to get out of the Tree of Woe. Finally, she gets her legs untangled and stands up on the top turnbuckle as Hika gets up on the outside, turning to face the ring before jumping back in a DIVING MOONSAULT TO THE OUTSIDE!!! The crowd lets out a giant pop at that, Ravena and Hika crashing to the ground on the outside. The crowd at ringside pounds the barriers rapidly in appreciation for that move, and Ravena gets up after a few moments of recovery, lifting Hika up to her feet and connecting with a chop before rolling her into the ring.

Following her in, Ravena lifts Hika back up again and goes to whip her into the ropes, but Hika reverses it, sending Ravena into them instead. As she comes back, Hika swings her up around to possibly go for another Tilt-A-Whirl Backbreaker, but Ravena lands on her feet, jumping up for a Kip-Up 'Rana! With bridge! "1...2..." Hika kicks out. Ravena gets back up to her feet, only to be caught by a Clothesline from Hika, who then whips Ravena into the ropes. Ravena bounces off the opposite set and flips backwards, but Hika drops down and rolls forward to dodge whatever was coming, standing up and grabbing Ravena before she can get her balance back and going to throw her out of the ring, but Ravena grabs the ropes and swings around into a 619! Hika sidesteps it and grabs Ravena's legs, though, swinging her up around by her legs for another move, but Ravena grabs the ropes again and hooks her legs around HIka's head, swinging forward and pulling Hika over the ropes and out of the ring with a 'Rana! The crowd cheers loudly for that, Hika hitting the ground hard outside the ring. Ravena gets back into the ring and up to her feet, running across as Hika starts to stand up, diving over the ropes with a ROPE FLIP SENTON INTO A RAVEN'S FLIGHT INTO THE STEEL GUARDRAIL!!! The crowd goes nuts, Hika slamming back first into the steel guard rail, both women lying motionless on the ground. "HOLY s**t! HOLY s**t! HOLY s**t!" Finally, Ravena gets back up and grabs Hika, pulling her over to the ring and rolling her into it near the corner, then climbs up onto the apron and onto the turnbuckles, facing out to the crowd before twisting back in a CORKSCREW MOONSAULT! COVER! "1...2...TH-" Hika gets a shoulder up to many jeers and boos from the crowd. Ravena lifts Hika back up, not discouraged yet, picking her up and dropping her in a Scoop Slam, then turns to the ropes, going up to sling over them and flip back into an ARABIAN PRE-NO! Hika gets her knees up, and Ravena lands stomach-first right on them. Hika gets up to her feet, bringing Ravena up and wrapping a hand around her throat, borrowing a signature from her friend(?) Voorhees and bringing Ravena up for a CHOKESLAM TO HELL!!! COVER! "1...2...TH-" Ravena gets a shoulder up!

The crowd cheers loudly for this, having thought that it might have been over there. Hika turns and argues with the ref for a few moments, but he assures her it was only a two count. Finally, she turns and picks Ravena up, pulling her up for a Fisherman's Suplex, but then drapes her across her shoulders. She turn turns towards a corner, running forward and bringing Ravena down in front of her body with her back facing the turnbuckles, smashing her into them back-first with a Krush Rush! Ravena slumps down to the mat after Hika hits that, and Hika grins, walking back across the ring to stand in the opposite corner as Ravena gets up. Finally, Hika dashes forward, going for a move into the corner, but Ravena suddenly ducks down and grabs her legs, tossing her back for an Alley-Oop Snake Eyes! Hika stumbles around after her forehead gets smashed into the top turnbuckle with that, turning around right into a Spinning Wheel Kick from Ravena! Ravena rolls out onto the apron and stands up, grabbing the ropes and watching as Hika slowly gets back up to her feet. Finally, as she does, Ravena uses the ropes to pull herself into a Slingshot 'Rana, but NO! Hika sidesteps and grabs Ravena, bringing her down into a Backbreaker in mid-air. Hika takes a few moments to breathe, then drags Ravena over to a corner before climbing up onto it, looking out over the crowd before springing into a SKY TWISTER PRE-NO! Ravena rolls to the side and Hika connects with the mat back-first. Hika uses her momentum to roll forward to her feet, however, turning around in the corner as Ravena dashes forward, but she Alley-Oops Ravena just as she had done to her, making her land on the top turnbuckle. Hika quickly turns around and nails a few forearms to the back of Ravena's head, then climbs up onto the middle ropes and hooks her head under Ravena's arm, trying to pull her into a Back Superplex, but Ravena connects with a few punches to Hika's head, making her pull away. However, Hika then turns around and hooks both Ravena's arms, the crowd getting up on their feet as Hika lifts Ravena up in the air off the turnbuckle, smiling evily as she jumps off for the CROSS POWERBO-NO!!! RAVENA REVERSES IT INTO A HURRICARANA!!! The crowd cheers loudly for that, both getting back up again, but Ravena quickly runs to the ropes, springing off and going for a SPRINGBOARD RAVEN'S FLI-NO!!! Hika throws Ravena's legs off of her, pulling her back in a Dragon's Sleeper before connecting with an EXTREME TWIST OF FATE!!! Hika plants Ravena into the mat, then turns to the ropes, smirking as she quickly runs over to them and jumps off, flipping back into the LAI'NSAUL-NOOOO!!! Ravena rolls forward and dodges the move, kipping up to her feet as Hika lands on her feet and tries to keep her balance, only to get hit with a Toekick and get pulled into a Standing Head Scissors. Ravena throws her arms out to the side, signalling the BLACK NO. 1!!!

THE LIGHTS GO OUT!

GONG!!!

VOOOOOOOORHEEEEEEEEEEEEEES is in the ring as the lights come back on, standing in front of Ravena and grinning evily as he connects with a Big Boot, knocking her out of the Standing Head Scissors with Hika. Voorhees reaches down to grab Ravena as Hika moves off to the side, a little shaken after the possibility of getting hit with that Sunset Flip Piledriver. Voorhees turns Ravena over, wrapping his arms around her waist, and holding her in the position for the TOMBSTONE PILEDRI-NOOO!!! VOORHEES GETS TAKEN OUT FROM THE SIDE WITH THE SPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEER!!!! Dar had hopped the barrier as soon as Voorhees picked Ravena up, dressed in his black BTWF hoodie, though the hood was down so everyone could see who it was, the BTWF World Title strapped around his waist. Voorhees drops Ravena as he gets hit, but she lands on her back, not her head. Dar turns Voorhees over onto his back and begins to pound into his face with a series of punches, looking extremely angry, the crowd up on their feet and cheering wildly for the champion. Dar looks up as Hika tries to pull Dar off of Voorhees, turning around and pulling her arm down to toss her across the ring with a RELEASE WRIST CLUTCH EXPLODAAAAAA!!! The crowd cheers even louder for that, but it all changes back to boos as Dar gets hit with a Big Boot to the back of his head by Voorhees, who then turns him around into a Standing Head Scissors. Voorhees then hooks Dar's arms and lifts him up over his shoulder, stretching out his arms and slamming him down to the mat on his head with the CRUCIFIX POWERBO-NOOO!!! RAVENA DROPKICKS VOORHEES' KNEE OUT FROM UNDER HIM!!! Because of this, Dar is able to slide down to his feet behind Voorhees, and then lifts him up over his shoulder, still in the crucifix position, before flipping him over and falling to a sitting position to smash Voorhees' face into the mat with the OBLIVION!!! The crowd pops HUGE for the retro Dar finisher, Dar unstrapping the belt from his waist after doing so and getting on his knees and lifting Voorhees' head up by his hair, screaming at him in anger and shoving the belt in his face, saying something about wanting the championship. Finally, Dar holds the belt in place with one hand, then KNEEEEEEEEE STRIIIIIIIIIKES THE BELT INTO VOORHEES' FACE!!! The crowd goes NUTS for that, Dar finally stopping and pulling the belt away, revealing red streams of blood on it, Voorhees' head busted open. Dar seems satisfied with this, letting go of Voorhees' hair and letting him fall to the mat limply before standing up and wrapping an arm around Ravena's shoulders to pull her against his side, slinging the belt over his other shoulder, looking down at Voorhees for a few moments, then turns and exits the ring with Ravena. The two make their way up the ramp, but the crowd suddenly gasps as Voorhees sits up, a GONG sounding, Dar quickly turning around to face the ring, his eyes widening as he sees Voorhees get up to his feet, walking toward the ropes, leaning over them as he faced Darson.

Dar and Voorhees stare each other down for a few moments before Dar raises the title, yelling out to Voorhees that it's his, pointing at the blood, Voorhees' blood, that's dripping from it, yelling that that's only a taste of what's to come. But Voorhees suddenly responds, in a way Darson hadn't counted on. Voorhees eyes come into the back of his head as the lights suddenly begin to freak out, flashing on and off, changing colour to the eerie blue and purple. Voorhees paces back a bit and stares at Dars through his cold white eyes. Dars looks around, not knowing what to do, but all he can do is jump back as Voorhees throws his arms up. The crowd gasps as a lightning bolt strikes on either side of Darson, one knocking Ravena away from him. Darson calls out to her, but Voorhees then points at Dar, the crowd gasping and screaming as lightning flashes around the champion and Ravena, though not actually hitting the two. Dar looks around, finally letting out a sigh as the lightning stops. He walks backwards, but jumps slightly as a final lightning bolt strikes, this time distinctly at Ravena, striking just at her feet, knocking her back. The camera pans to the ring to see Hika Lai standing atop the far east turnbuckle, staring down Ravena as she made a cutthroat sign, her eyes coming up and into her head like Voorhees'. Ravena gets up and dashes to Darson's side as they walk up through the curtains. Voorhees and Hika grinning evily from the ring at the two as blood trickles down from Voorhees' forehead and we cut to a commercial.

Victor Cross enters the ring, the crowd getting ready for this important tag match between some of the most well-known cruiserweights in the BTWF.

Cross: The following tag team contest is scheduled for one fall!

One, two, three, GO!

"Step Up" by Drowning Pool tears into the sound system as the crowd erupts into cheers, smoke filling the top of the entrance ramp as green light shines through it, revealing two silhouettes of familiar figures to the BTWF crowd. Finally, Seraph and Kanyon burst out through the fog, hopping up and down at the top of the entrance ramp and riling up the crowd. Finally, the two begin to run down the entrance ramp, holding their arms out for high fives from the loudly cheering crowd. Following after them is none other than Ravena

Cross: Introducing first, being accompanied to the ring by Ravena, at a combined weight of four hundred forty-one pounds, they are Archetypes of eXcellence...The team of Seraph and Irvine 'The Grand' Kanyon...H.A.L.O.!!!"

Sliding into the ring, the two headed to opposite turnbuckles and climbed up onto the ropes, throwing their arms up in the air and working the crowd some more, getting them pumped up for the match to come. Ravena blows a few kisses to the crowd as well, eventually sliding under the ropes to the outside. Finally, both men hop down and remove their vests, handing them off to an official as they head over to their corner, discussing strategies with each other.

The lights in the arena dim completely, a brief sound of wind heard blowing as fog gathers at the top of the entrance ramp before a voice comes over the speakers.

I will forgive, but I won't forget...
...And I hope you know...
...You've lost my respect.

The entrance ramp lights up in a red glow as a guitar riff rips into the speakers, all the crowd recognizing it as the beginning of "Blood (Empty Promises)" by Papa Roach. The crowd has already begun to boo and jeer heavily, full of hatred and contempt for the team about to emerge.

Y' BETTER WATCH OUT!
If you don't know what's goin' on around you.
Y' BETTER THINK TWICE!
Before you fly off the handle and lose it.
Y' BETTER JOIN US!
Before you get lost in the shuffle.
YOU GOTTA RISE AGAINST...
The demons that are gonna try and hold you down!

After a few more moments of boos and jeers, the fans sit back down, deciding to wait for the wrestlers to emerge before continuing to show their contempt. Finally, a lone figure makes its way through the smoke, emerging to reveal it to be Austin Azure. Stopping just at the edge of the fog, he turns and looks back towards it, crossing his arms and looking into it. The crowd notices that Revision isn't coming out right away, taking it as a sign that perhaps "The Future" has abandoned Empty Promises and Austin. However, their hopes are dashed as another figure walks out through the smoke, revealing it to be Revision, dressed in his normal blue and white boxing robe, glancing over at Austin and giving a nod before beginning to walk down the ramp with his partner.

Does it run in your blood to betray the ones you love?!
Does it run in your blood to betray the ones you love?!
The ones you love!

The ones you love!
The ones you love...

Cross: Making their way to the ring, at a combined weight of three hundred ninety-seven pounds, one from Fairbanks, Alaska, the other from the City of Sin, one is the current reigning BTWF Gaia Champion, they are legends in the making, the latest in greatness, the supreme rulers of old and new school, consisting of "The Future" Revision and the "Wrestling G.O.D." Austin Azure, they are...EMPTY PROMISES!!!

Cross moves through his introduction quickly, not bothering to give it the pomp and flair that David Stetson would, tossing the card off to the side after he finishes reading off of it. As Austin and Revision make their way down the ramp, the two stop every so often to jaw off with a particularly vocal Barton fan. Reaching the bottom of the ramp, Austin turns and looks over at the familiar Green Lantern fan, pointing over at him for a few moments before hopping up onto the apron with his partner and vaulting over the ropes while Revision slips through them normally.

'CAUSE I'M NOT A PAWN...
for you to play in your ******** game!
I'VE GOT DIGNITY...
and a dream that I want to achieve!
UNDER PRESSURE...
you crumbled and you let me down!
BUT I'M NOT DEAF
and all I hear are your empty promises!

Stopping in the middle of the ring, Austin falls to one knee and crosses his arms in front of his chest in an X while Revision stands behind him, lifting his arms up and making the gun symbol with his fingers, waiting a moment before jerking them up and mouthing the word "bang" before turning and heading over to their corner, both removing unnecessary accessories and looking over at their opponents.

Joe Schmoe steps forward to get ready for the match, but Austin stops him while Revision gets a microphone from an official outside the ring. Walking forward into the middle of the ring, Joe clears off to the side, the crowd calming down as they wait for Revision to speak.

Revision: Last week, Austin and I had a bit of a miscommunication. My Gaia title defense against Steve Twist, possibly the biggest match in my entire career, came down to a non-finish that left a bad taste in my mouth. That non-finish was due to none other than my faction partner, Austin Azure.

Revision turns to face Austin, the crowd booing his name.

Revision: Austin, I acted on emotion after the end of that match. And just like you apologized last week for your actions, I want to apologize for mine. My thought process wasn't working very well after a Cross-Armed Brainbuster, Twister and Tranquility. I was upset over not getting a clean win over Twist and showing that I am the greatest Gaia champion of all time. And due to those shaken feelings, I left you at the mercy of Steve Twist when I knew you wouldn't be able to fight back after that long match you had with Riona. For that, I also want to apologize.

The crowd boos and jeers this heavily, having wanted to see Revision break off from Empty Promises, but it doesn't seem like he's going to do so.

Revision: With Xunkai gone, our mission to take the spots of these overrated veterans is in more danger than it's ever been, Austin. And we can't have any bad feelings between us making it evern harder to accomplish. So let's put this behind us and prove another point.

Turning around to face Seraph and Kanyon, Revision starts speaking directly to them.

Revision: HALO! You two have been one of the most popular tag teams in BTWF history. The only two-time tag team champions. Members of one of the most popular factions, the Archetypes of eXcellence. All the Barton idiots in this arena probably think we have no chance of beating you.

A rioutous cheer comes from the crowd at this, showing that they were indeed rooting and betting on HALO to win.

Revision: ...But they will be proven wrong, HALO. Sure, Austin and I aren't normal tag team wrestlers. But we can work together far better than either of you. And tonight, we're going to beat you and show that we, together, are better than any tag team the BTWF has to offer, as well as any singles wrestler.

The crowd goes right back to booing and jeering, obviously disagreeing.

Revision: And you, fans of Barton! The thing that makes you like HALO so much is their high-flying, high energy offense, right? The same offense that I'm the most well-known for using, and for sure the best at, seeing as I've beaten the last Small Fry Champion and the most well-known cruiserweight outside BTWF?

The crowd boos this, still thinking Red Comet, Twilight Tokyo Rose, or some other cruiserweight is a better wrestler than Revision.

Revision: Well, tonight, you won't see any of that from me. Tonight I'm going to deprieve you of that style you love so much. I'm going to keep my moves on the mat, and you can take all your flippity-floppity entertainment from those two dorks in the opposite corner. And even without working my best style, Austin and I are going to take these two apart.

Dropping the mic, Revision heads back to his corner as the crowd boos and jeers again, HALO looking over at them with angry glares. Joe Schmoe then steps forward, asking both teams if they're ready to begin, then steps back and calls for the bell.

DING DING DING!!!

After a few moments of debate, the teams decide to start out with Kanyon and Revision starting off the match. The two circle around for a few moments, but Revision suddenly offers a handshake. Looking down at the hand for a few moments, Kanyon slowly reaches out to take it, but Revision just swipes it back at the last second and runs it through his hair, grinning as the crowd boos. Circling for a few more moments, the two finally lock up in a grapple, fighting for a bit before Kanyon twists Revision's arm up around into a Hammerlock. Revision slowly twists out of it, countering the move into an Overhead Wristlock on Kanyon, bringing his leg forward and pushing down on the back of Kanyon's knee, bringing him to a kneeling position. Revision then twists the arm around again, this time into an Armbar, circling around Kanyon with it to keep him off balance. Finally, though, Kanyon manages to twist out of the hold and pull Revision into his own Armbar, seeming to be trying to show that he's more technically sound than the Gaia champ. Revision twists out into another Armbar, but this time heads back over to his corner, allowing Austin to tag in. Austin slips through the ropes and hits a quick forearm to Kanyon's shoulder, grabbing Kanyon's arm and twisting it around to switch between an Armbar and an Overhead Wristlock every few moments to keep Kanyon guessing, finally sweeping his legs and taking him down to the mat with an Armwrench Takedown, locking the Overhead Wristlock in again, but Kanyon fights his way back up to his feet, only to have Austin twist the hold around into a Hammerlock. Kanyon twists out into his own Hammerlock, but Austin brings his leg up and knocks Kanyon's arms away, grabbing his head and taking him over in a Snapmare before locking a Full Nelson on in this seated position. Kanyon gets back up to his feet, but Austin keeps the hold locked in, moving backwards and heading over to his corner to allow Revision to tag back in. Revision picks up the Full Nelson right where it left off, but Kanyon breaks out of the hold and pulls Revision into a Hammerlock before heading over to his corner and tagging in Seraph, who comes in to hit a quick kick to the back of Revision's leg as Kanyon releases the Hammerlock.

Revision cringes and clutches his leg as Seraph goes after it with another stomp, then brings Revision back up to his feet and twists him into an Armbar. Revision rolls forward out of the hold and sweeps Seraph's legs, quickly reaching down to go for an Ankle Lock, but Seraph gets to the ropes before he can get it locked in properly. Stepping back, Revision allows Seraph to get back up to his feet, the two now coming forward into a Knucklelock. The two men seemed to be pretty evenly matched at first, but Seraph manages to push Revision back into the ropes and jump up to pull him back in a Monkey Flip. Seraph then tries to flip backwards, but Revision brings his knees up and pushes up on Seraph's chest to make him land on his feet, kipping up to a standing position and bringing his knees up to toss Seraph back in his own Monkey Flip. As Revision goes to flip backwards, Seraph catches him in a Body Scissors as he lands, then quickly goes to change the hold into a Cross Armbreaker, only to have Revision quickly get to the ropes before he can get the hold in, the crowd booing that slightly. The two men seperate for a few moments, collecting themselves after that exchange, then come back in another grapple, Revision taking control and pulling Seraph into a Side Headlock. Seraph pushes Revision up against the ropes and whips him across the ring, however, only to get taken down by a sudden Shoulderblock from The Future as he comes off the rebound. Revision runs to the ropes, Seraph rolling over to make Revision jump over him, then hops up to his feet and leapfrogs over Revision as he comes back again, turning to catch Revision in an Arm Drag, only for Revision to hop up and pull Seraph down in another Monkey Flip! Seraph gets up, only to be caught by Revision in an Arm Drag, quickly locking in an Armbar on the mat. Seraph gets back up to his feet, however, pushing Revision into the ropes and going for another Irish Whip, but Revision reverses it and sends Seraph into the ropes instead. Seraph leapfrogs over Revision again, this time dropping down to his back and rolling backwards as Revision turns around to catch the Gaia champ in a Head Scissors, Revision grabbing Seraph's legs and trying to swing him around and throw him off, but Seraph counters it right into a 'Rana Drag!

Revision gets tossed across the ring to land hard on his back, the crowd cheering that counter from Seraph. Revision shakes it off and gets back up to his feet, only to have Seraph Shoulderblock him back into the ropes before running across the ring. Revision counters, however, taking him down with a Crossbody as he comes back, landing and staying on him for the pin. "1..." Revision only gets a one count, Seraph not close to being ready to get pinned yet. Revision picks Seraph by his foot, making the former tag champ hop on one leg. Just as it looks like Seraph is about to hop up for an Enzuigiri, though, Revision sweeps his free leg and tags out to Austin. Revision then moves to Seraph's arm and locks in an Armbar while Austin grabs his leg and holds in an Ankle Lock, the two then switching to different body parts every so often, working the limbs of Seraph to the crowd's displeasure. Finally, they both stop with a Double Ankle Lock on Seraph's legs, both dropping down into a Leg Split hold, jarring Seraph's hamstrings. Austin and Revision turn to gloat after doing so, but this turns out to be a mistake, as Seraph is able to get over to his corner and tag in Kanyon. Austin turns around and sees this, sighing a bit before beginning to circle around with Kanyon for a few moments. Finally, the two lock up in a grapple, leading to Austin locking in a Half Nelson on Kanyon, and then brings him down to his knees and flips forward over him, grabbing his head and locking in a Cravat. Finally, Kanyon twists out of it and nails a kick to the outside of Austin's thigh before grabbing his arm and twisting it around into another Armbar. Austin rolls forward out of it and knocks his hand away with his feet, rolling back up to a standing position and grabbing Kanyon by the head, locking in another Cravat. Kanyon pulls out of this again and grabs Austin's arm, dropping him to the mat and going to lock in a Jujigatame, but Austin quickly rolls over and clasps his hands together, preventing the hold from putting any pressure on his arm. Austin then rolls out of the hold, bringing Kanyon over on his stomach and launching forward to pull him into a Front Facelock, lifting him up to his feet and switching it into a Cravat once again, twisting and wrenching at the neck of Kanyon. Kanyon breaks out of this again with a series of stiff kicks to Austin's legs, back and chest, then twists Austin into another Armbar, only to have him pull out of it and push Kanyon into the ropes chest first, catching him with a Back Brain Kick as he comes off the ropes. Austin picks Kanyon up, locks in another Cravat to keep him stationary, then walks to his corner and tags Revision back in.

Revision and Austin take Kanyon over with a Double Hiptoss, both locking their legs around his before dropping down into Kneebars! Austin only holds this in for a three count, though, before he has to break it and head back to his corner. Revision lifts Kanyon up to his feet and pulls him into a Snap Suplex, floating over for the cover. "1...2" Kanyon kicks out. Revision tries to pull Kanyon into a Butterfly Lock as he gets up, but Kanyon manages to back up into his corner, allowing Seraph to tag in. Kanyon then locks his arms around Revision's and keeps him held there long enough for Seraph to enter the ring and hit an elbow into his lower back. Seraph grabs Revision and Snapmares him over, following it up with a Rear Chinlock, digging his knee into Revision's back as he does so. The Gaia champ gets back up to his feet, though, and Seraph turns it into a Side Headlock. Revision pushes Seraph into the ropes, hitting a hard shot to the ribs once they're on them, following it up with a few chops before grabbing Seraph's head and pulling him back over to his corner, smashing his forehead down into the top turnbuckle before tagging back out to Austin. Revision locks in a Double Chickenwing on Seraph from behind, allowing Austin to hit a forearm to his jaw, and a second while he's still stunned and Revision has let go. Seraph goes down, but Austin lifts him right back up and knocks him into the corner with a European Uppercut, going to whip him into the opposite one, but Seraph reverses it, sending Austin into the corner, only to be met with a boot to the jaw as he charges. Austin hops up onto the ropes, jumping over Seraph as he charges again and rolling forward into the opposite corner, turning as Seraph comes back at him and ducking a Clothesline, countering with a bash of his shoulder into Seraph's mid-section before turning him around and pulling him into a Dragon Sleeper. Austin then lifts Seraph up and backwards as if for a Reverse Suplex, but keeps him going backwards until his feet lie on the ropes. Austin holds that for a minute, then drops down, pulling Seraph down into an ACE CRUSHER OFF THE ROPES!!! Austin turns and rolls Seraph over for a cover. "1...2..." Kanyon is in to break the pin for his partner to cheers and sighs of relief from the crowd.

Austin climbs out onto the apron after this, moving up onto the top turnbuckle as Seraph slowly gets up to his feet, only to be caught with a Flying Crossbody off the top! "1...2..." Seraph kicks out. Austin looks a little mad at this, picking Seraph back up and pulling him into a Front Facelock, hooking both arms before dropping back in a Double-Arm DDT! Austin isn't done, though, picking Seraph back up and pulling him into another Front Facelock, this time reaching down and hooking Seraph's leg, pulling him up onto his shoulders and turning to taunt the crowd for a few moments, then spins around and drops Seraph with the TUNDRA DRO-NO! Kanyon is in with a boot to the gut, causing Austin to drop Seraph, then quicklky follows it up with a Swinging Neckbreaker to put some more hurt on Austin before heading back to his corner. Both men get up about the same time, but Seraph is the first one to act, quickly stepping off Austin's knee and grabbing his head to pull him into the ARCHETYPE CUTTER MARK III!!! The crowd is immediately up on their feet for that as Seraph rolls Austin over to hook a leg. "1...2...TH-" Revision is in with a stomp to break the pin. Seraph looks ready to go after Revision, but decides to ignore him for now, lifting Austin up and pulling him over to his corner to tag in Kanyon. Kanyon pulls Austin out to the middle of the ring and connects with a hard forearm to the jaw, but Austin fires back with one of his own. The two trade hits for a few moments, but Austin finally ends it with a Drop Toe Hold, rolling over to his corner quickly and tagging out to Revision. Revision manages to grab a Superkick attempt by Kanyon, spinning him around to face away from him before applying a Dragon Sleeper and lifting Kanyon up for a Reverse Suplex, but then drops him down in an Inverted Brainbuster! AND ROLLS IT BACK INTO THE FUTURE CLUTCH!!! The crowd boos and jeers heavily as Revision locks in the trademark modified Dragon Clutch, wrenching back on the neck of Kanyon, but Seraph is in to hit a Yakuza Kick right into Revision's face, effectively breaking the hold. Both men get back up to their feet, Kanyon attempting to whip Revision into the ropes, but Revision reverses it and catches Kanyon with a Back Brain Kick as he passes! Kanyon rolls out of the ring due to this, and Revision quickly runs to the ropes, deciding to break his match strategy just once, flying over the ropes with the FRONT FLIP CRUCIFIX SENTON SUICIDAAAAAAAAA!!! Ravena comes over to try and help Kanyon, but Revision pushes her away as he gets up, trading words with the woman for a few moments.

Back in the ring, Austin and Seraph quickly match up, but as Austin misses a Clothesline, he turns around right into a Hurricarana from Seraph, who then rolls Austin onto his stomach and locks in the BROKEN WINGS!!! The crowd immediately lets out a huge cheer for that, but Joe reminds Seraph that neither he nor Austin is the legal man, and a tapout won't mean anything. In any case, Revision breaks it up after sliding back into the ring, both men rolling out to the apron to recover. Meanwhile, Kanyon rolls back into the ring as well, catching Revision off-guard with a Toekick before pulling him into a Vertical Suplex, but Revision floats over, locking in a Neckbreaker position before running up the ropes and flipping back into the FULL CIRCLE DDT!!! Revision spikes Kanyon's head into the mat with the maneuver, quickly rolling over for the pin. "1...2...TH-" Seraph breaks it up. Revision and Kanyon get back up to their feet, Austin trying to keep Seraph at bay while Kanyon goes for a Clothesline, only to have it be ducked and get pulled into a German Suplex! Bridge! "1...2..." Kanyon kicks out, but then grabs Revision's arm and locks in a Jujigatame! Revision cringes as he's put in the arm submission, trying to get to the ropes, but Austin manages to get over and break it before he even has to. All four men are out of breath after all this, but finally get back to their feet, only to have Revision grab Seraph and throw him out of the ring. Meanwhile, Austin gets behind Kanyon and locks in a Double Chickenwing, flexing back into a Tiger Suplex. Revision grabs Kanyon's legs and lifts him up in the air, Austin letting go and bringing his knees up to allow Revision to slam Kanyon down chest-first onto the knees. Revision then lifts Kanyon up in an Electric Chair, turning around to face away from Austin and letting Kanyon lean back a bit as Austin kips up to his feet and grabs Kanyon in a Full Nelson, pulling him down off Revision's shoulders in a Dragon Suplex, completing the QUINTESSENCE BUSTER!!! Austin isn't the legal man, and thus doesn't bridge, instead getting up to see Ravena on the apron, starting to come through the ropes to help her faction mate. Austin tells Revision to get the pin, then runs over and grabs Ravena's head, Guillotining it down against the rope. Revision slowly drags himself over towards Kanyon, fatigued from this match. Meanwhile, Seraph is up, only to see Ravena getting choked out with the rope, and quickly gets up to go help her, punching Austin until he lets go and Guillotines him down into the rope. Austin stumbles back away from the ropes and clutches his neck, and Austin turns to see Revision flopping an arm over Kanyon's chest. "ONE...TWO...THREE!!!" Seraph stops just a foot away from them, unable to get there in time to break the pin.

Cross: Here are your winners...EMPTY PROMISES!!!

Austin grins, coming back over to help Revision up and smirking at Seraph as he glares at the two. Revision smiles as well, heading to the outside with his partner to retrieve his title before making his way back up the ramp. Meanwhile, Seraph and Ravena come over to check on Kanyon, helping him back up to his feet. Suddenly, though, Kanyon pushes their arms away, looking very angry. The crowd is shocked at this, watching intently, wondering what's going on. Kanyon begins to yell loudly at Seraph and Ravena, the camera's microphone only able to catch a few words like "...going to help her..." and "should've broke the pin!" Seraph and Ravena try to calm Kanyon down, but he suddenly grabs Seraph and begins to punch him repeatedly, the crowd gasping in surprise and booing heavily. Ravena tries to pull Kanyon away, but he just knocks her back, finally whipping Seraph over the ropes and out of the ring. Turning around, he catches Ravena with a surprise boot to the gut, then jumps up and hits the DUSTY ROAD!!! The crowd jeers Kanyon as Ravena's face gets driven down to the mat, Ravena not moving afterwards, the match she had earlier with Hika Lai still taking its effects on her, this Dusty Road too much. Kanyon gets up and looks out at Seraph, running to the ropes and springboarding off of them with a KANYON KALLING SUICIDA!!! Seraph gets knocked back down from the Suicida Star Press from Kanyon, who then gets back up and walks over towards the announce table, knocking an official out of his chair and grabbing it, folding it up. Seraph gets back up as Kanyon walks back over, woozy from the previous attacks, and thus isn't able to counter the CHAIR SHOT FROM KANYON!!! Kanyon smashes the chair right into Seraph's skull, making his tag team partner crumple to the ground limply, the crowd booing and jeering him heavily. Finally, Kanyon turns and climbs up the nearby turnbuckle, still holding the chair, and suddenly jumps off and flips forward, sticking the chair under his leg and hitting an ATMOSFEAR ARABIAN FACEBUSTER!!! The crowd gasps in horror as Kanyon hits the Front Flip Leg Drop with the chair beneath him, smashing it down hard into Seraph's face. As he stands up, we see that Seraph is busted open, eyes rolled back into his head. Kanyon tosses the chair back down on Seraph, laying into him with more verbal abuse that Seraph probably isn't even hearing, before finally turning and heading up to the ramp, Ravena getting up in the ring and looking towards Kanyon, Dar coming down out of the crowd again and getting into the ring to help Ravena to her feet, looking up at the ramp towards Kanyon with a glare, who just smirks before going behind the curtains. Dar and Ravena turn to go outside the ring and help the paramedics that have come down to take care of Seraph, the crowd wondering what this means before we cut to another commercial.

Victor Cross enters the ring, the crowd getting ready for what seems to be a very interestin exhibition. "The following contest is scheduled for one fall!"

The lights in the arena cut out for a moment, but then begin to strobe quickly along with a fast drum beat, changing back to their normal glow as guitars burst into the song and a shower of white sparks explode from the bottom of the BarTron with a popping noise. A figure makes its way through the falling sparks, finally emerging at the beginning of the first verse, revealing that it is none other than Eric Renz, a man many in the arena have never seen, and some having not seen in a long time, though there are a few indy fans that have been following his activities as of late. Some recognize his entrance theme as "Nitro (Youth Energy)" by The Offspring. "Introducing first, from Detroit, Michigan, weighing in at two hundred twenty-nine pounds...'ARCHETYPE' ERIC RENZ!!!"

Our generation sees the world
Not the same as before
We might as well just throw it all
And live like there's no tomorrow

Renz makes his way down the entrance ramp, high fiving a few fans who bother to stick their hands out for him. Once reaching the bottom of the ramp, Renz rolls under the bottom rope into the ring, hopping up to his feet and throwing his arms up in the air as he walks across it before taking his jacket off and handing it off to an official, not bothering to do much showboating. Renz begins to do some last minute stretching as he watches the ramp, his entrance theme fading out.

Tear my heart open
I sew myself shut

The lights in the arena fade as a low guitar note is heard throughout the speakers and "Scars" by Papa Roach hits. Small lights, almost like the flickering of candles, begin to appear around the entrance ramp and ring.

And my weakness is
That I care too much

Suddenly, a huge blast of pyro lights up the entrance ramp and all four corners of the ring, the crowd letting out a big cheer for it.

And my scars remind me
That the past is real
Tear my heart open
Just to feel

Shadow throws open the curtains and walks out to the top of the ramp, the crowd chanting his name as he looks around the arena, smiling. Finally, he begins to make his way down the ramp, high fiving and shaking hands with the fans, coming up to the ring and jumping onto the apron, turning out to wave at the fans before moving through the ropes. "Entering the ring, weighing in at two hundred fifty-three pounds...SHADOW STARR!!!" Shadow heads to all four corners, Renz walking out of his to allow him to do so, showing his respect for his opponent. Finally, Shadow hops down from the last one and leans against his own corner.

Jackie Kiddo steps forward, asking if both men are ready, then steps back and calls for the bell.

DING DING DING!!!

Shadow and Renz step forward, Renz offering his hand, which Shadow takes with a nod, giving him a handshake before stepping back and beginning to circle around the ring, the crowd giving a little cheer for the show of respect. Shadow and Renz then lock up, Shadow grabbing Renz's wrists for a few moments and trying to pull him over, but they eventually turn it into a normal grapple, only to have Shadow pick Renz's leg out from under him. Renz kicks Shadow away, though, getting back up to his feet as Shadow backs off, the two beginning to circle again. The two then lock up again, this time bringing the action down to the mat, each one trying to get a good hold in on the ot her, but a series of sitting out and rolling out of holds finally leads to both men getting back up to their feet and seperate again, Renz looking thoughtful, seeming to be thinking about a strategy while Shadow seems a little put off, obviously having had to use a lot of quickness and cunning to keep up with Renz on the mat. Renz doesn't give Shadow any time to get his senses back, however, coming back in with another grapple, only to have Shadow take his legs out again and try to mount him and go for some punches. Renz fights this off, though, locking in a Body Scissors and ducking to the side to grab Shadow's arm, wrenching it over in an Armbar while still holding Shadow in place with the Body Scissors, leaning his body up and staying too close to Shadow to keep him from getting any strikes in. Renz finally breaks the Body Scissors and rolls Shadow over with it, attempting to twist his arm up in an Overhead Wristlock while trying to push Shadow down to the mat in a pinning position. Shadow arches his body up to keep his shoulders off the mat, though, finally rolling out and getting over Renz's back, trying to roll him over into a Cradle, but as he does, Renz gets his foot on the ropes, showing his ring prescence, Jackie not even able to get a one count, telling Shadow to break it up. Shadow gets up, releasing his hold and looking a little disappointed that he wasn't even able to get some kind of pin on Renz, backing up as Renz rolls over and gets to one knee, watching Shadow for a few moments, then stands up himself.

Renz and Shadow come back forward again, this time starting a Knucklelock. The two fight hard to get control of the hold, eventually going down on one knee and placing their heads against each others' shoulders to try and get more leverage in the hold, but both seem evenly matched. Finally, Renz manages to get Shadow into the corner with the hold. Despite Shadow's size advantage, Renz's thick build and lower base allows him to get just a little bit more leverage in the move, not to mention his highly technical backround. Jackie calls for a break, and though Renz tries to get another arm submission in off the ropes, Shadow pushes him back away to get some room. The two begin to circle again, the crowd watching with anticipation, hoping for some action soon, though the subtlety seems to be building the excitement for the crowd. Another lock up between the two ends with Renz getting a Full Nelson on Shadow, who tries to twist out, but Renz just twists right through Shadow's attempted counter and locks in a Side Headlock. Shadow reaches back and tries to pull at Renz's face to get out of the hold, but finally just pushes Renz up against the ropes and whips him across the ring, only to get caught by a Shoulderblock from Renz as he comes back. Renz backs off for a few moments until Shadow gets up on all fours, then comes back in and pulls him into a Front Chancery, finally pulling Shadow down to the mat and hooking a Leg Scissors to keep him from rolling away. Shadow attempts to pull his head out of the hold, and finally does manage to do so, but can't get away because of the Leg Scissors. Grabbing Renz's arms and shoulders, Shadow tries to push him down into a pinning position on the mat, but Renz keeps rolling his shoulders to prevent this, but Renz finally lets go of Shadow's leg. Shadow tries to roll out of the hold, but Renz quickly rolls over and gets Shadow in another Front Chancery, not letting him get away and get a vertical base, knowing that he has the advantage on the mat. Shadow manages to get out of this and work a Cravat on Renz, but Renz gets up to his feet, only to be pulled into a Front Facelock. Renz grabs Shadow's arm, however, pulling at it for a few moments, then twists it out and around into another Armbar as both men are back on their feet.

Renz pulls Shadow into a Side Headlock out of this position, but Shadow whips him into the ropes again, dropping to the mat and making Renz jump over him, standing up as Renz comes back. Renz tries to jump up and go for a Dropkick, but Shadow is one step ahead of him and lands one of his own directly into the ribs of Renz, who cringes and falls to the mat, Shadow going for a cover. "1...2" Renz kicks out. Shadow lifts Renz up to his feet, dropping his hand and connecting with a quick chop across Renz's chest. Shadow continues his assault, grabbing Renz as he doubles over and connecting with a knee to the gut, then pulls him back up straight and knocks him back into the ropes with a right hand. Shadow goes to whip Renz across the ring, but Renz reverses it and sends Shadow into the ropes instead, catching him with a Drop Toe Hold and making Shadow connect with the mat on his face. Shadow rolls out under the ropes to the floor to recover, and Renz gets up to his feet, watching him, the crowd getting anxious, thinking they might see a suicide dive. Finally, Shadow gets up to his feet and Renz dashes forward, only slide through the bottom ropes as Shadow moves to the side, Renz knowing he wouldn't have hit anything if he had gone for a dive there. Shadow turns around, but Renz catches him with a big European Uppercut, knocking him back against the side of the ring. Renz grabs Shadow after a moment and goes to whip him into the barrier, but Shadow manages to stop himself by sticking his foot out to hit the guard rail and break his momentum, turning as Renz dashes forward and catching the Archetype with a Spinning Back Elbow. Renz stumbles back from the blow, only to have Shadow grab him around the waist and lift him up for a Hotshot right into the steel barrier, smashing Renz's abdomen onto the steel. Renz falls down into a sitting position with his back against the guardrail, and Shadow follows up with a swift stomp into his chest, knocking him back against the steel. Shadow then lifts Renz up, pulling him back over and rolling him into the ring, seeming to have gained control of this match by taking it out of the ring. Shadow follows up with a cover. "1...2" Renz reaches over and grabs the bottom rope, once again showing great ring prescence, and marking Shadow's mistake of not rolling him farther into the ring before going for the cover.

Shadow looks a little annoyed with himself for not noticing how close to the ropes Renz was, but shakes it off, lifting Renz up to his feet and holding him up horizontal before dropping for a Backbreaker, but doesn't let go of Renz, standing back up and twisting him over as he goes down again, this time hitting a Gutbuster before letting Renz roll off his knee. Shadow lifts Renz back up to his feet, connecting with a right hand, before hitting another one that levels Renz and sends him down to the mat. Shadow quickly drops down and hooks the leg for another cover. "1...2" Renz kicks out. Shadow lifts Renz back up, hitting another right hand, but Renz catches his arm as he goes for another one, pulling Shadow into a Knucklelock. Rather then trying to force Shadow back into the corner again, Renz hops up and presses his knees to Shadow's chest, falling backwards and flinging him over with a Monkey Flip. The two then roll over and get back to their feet, still fighting for control of the hold, but Renz comes in with a sudden Headbutt, hitting a second one, but Shadow manages to twist his arm and intercept Renz's head with his elbow as he goes for a third, Renz dropping to the mat, the elbow strike having had more momentum from him swinging his head forward. Renz seems to be done with this Knucklelock now, swinging his leg up and pushing Shadow's hand away, kicking the other one hard in the elbow joint and making Shadow back off and clutch his arm, and this allows Renz to shake off the effects of Shadow's attack earlier and get up, walking over to where Shadow has fallen down to one knee and connecting with a sharp kick right into his shoulder from behind, making Shadow cringe and fall over to the side. Renz doesn't let up, though, pulling Shadow to a seated position and hooking in an Overhead Wristlock, bringing his foot up and stomping directly down on Shadow's elbow after doing so, jarring his arm. Renz then pushes Shadow down to his back and stretches his arm out to the side, stepping on his hand and pressing his other foot down hard into his shoulder, Jackie not quite sure if this is an illegal maneuver or not, but Renz breaks it anyway with a Knee Drop right onto Shadow's shoulder, making him cry out from the extended arm work.

Renz doesn't let up, hooking another Overhead Wristlock and bringing his legs over to hook Shadow's arm in an Arm Scissors, then reaches over and hooks his hands behind Shadow's head, locking in a sort of Inverted Crippler Crossface, pulling Shadow's arm away from its socket with his legs while stretching Shadow's neck forward and making his head bend down towards his chest with his hands. Shadow brings his other arm up and tries to push Renz's face back and dig at his eyes and nose to break the hold, and Renz finally does lay off, only to grab Shadow's arm he had been scissoring before and lift him up to his feet, twisting it into an Armbar and connecting with a hard chop on Shadow while he's in this position. Shadow retaliates with one of his own, and the two trade chops for a few moments until Revision reaches down and hooks Shadow's leg, hitting a modified Fisherman's Suplex, twisting Shadow's arm over as he does so and jarring it down into the mat with the hold. Shadow cringes and clutches his shoulder as Renz takes a moment to catch his breath. Finally, Renz turns and rolls Shadow over for a cover. "1...2..." Shadow kicks out. Renz doesn't seem to mind the two count too much, methodically continuing his assault on Shadow's arm, lifting him up to his feet and taking him over to the ropes before hooking his arm in them, leaving Shadow's shoulder exposed for Renz to pound his forehead down against it in a series of Headbutts, breaking off at four to avoid a DQ count from Jackie. Shadow stumbles away from the ropes and clutches his arm, only to have Revision grab him and nail another European Uppercut that knocks Shadow into the corner where he falls to a sitting position. Renz lifts Shadow back up out of the corner with another Armbar, only to have Shadow swing his free arm forward in a series of hard forearm strikes to Renz's jaw, ending in a knee to the gut that makes Renz break the hold. Shadow quickly grabs Renz as he bends down from the knee, and jumps forward, bringing him over in a Sunset Flip! "1...2..." Renz kicks out.

Renz looks a little angered at Shadow having countered his hold like that, coming back with a series of stomps to the back of Shadow's neck and shoulder before he can get up, finally lifting him up and tucking his head under his arm, going for a Northern Lights Suplex, but he only lifts Shadow a little bit off the ground before Shadow falls back and counters the hold into a DDT, Renz flipping onto his back from the momentum. Shadow manages to roll back and pull Renz into a Front Chancery onto the mat, seeming to be trying to one-up Renz at his own game. Shadow pulls Renz up to his feet and changes the hold around into a Front Facelock, then brings Renz around into a Hammerlock, but Renz easily counters out of this, pulling Shadow into a Reverse Waistlock. Shadow counters with an elbow to Renz's temple, spinning out of the hold and hooking a Dragon Sleeper, but Renz twists around and grabs Shadow's waist, flexing back in a Northern Lights Suplex, bridging the maneuver. "1...2" Shadow kicks out. Renz and Shadow take their time getting up to their feet, having gone through a rough sequence there, but Renz is first on the attack, connecting with another European Uppercut. Shadow comes back with a slap across Renz's chest, only to get another European Uppercut for his troubles. Finally, Renz rears back and connects with a final, vicious European Uppercut that sends Shadow sprawling to the mat, Renz doubling over and taking a breather as Shadow tries to regain his senses. Renz finally walks over and lifts Shadow up, pulling him into a Front Facelock and going for a Vertical Suplex, but Shadow blocks it, fighting for a few moments before lifting Renz up and putting momentum back in his favor by dropping Renz right on his head with a Brainbuster. Shadow rolls over onto his side, and clutches his shoulder, having used his bad arm to hook Renz's head rather than lift him, but it still hurt to perform the move. Shadow finally moves over and attempts to lock in a Crossface, but there isn't too much power behind the move due to Shadow's weakened arm, and Renz brings his hands back to grab both sides of Shadow's head, twisting it over in a Cravat while Shadow works the Crossface. Finally, though, Jackie breaks the hold with a stalemate call, seeing as neither man can really do much else and neither seem to be near tapping out.

Shadow is the first one to recover, grabbing Renz and picking him back up in another Vertical Suplex, still using his good arm to lift Renz, but Renz floats over, only to have Shadow catch him with a Neckbreaker before he can get away or counter, following up with a pin. "1...2..." Renz kicks out. Shadow lifts Renz back up to his feet, knocking him into the ropes with a right hand before going to whip him across the ring, only to have Renz reverse it and pull Shadow into a Hammerlock, suddenly trying to hit the Sudden Impact, but Shadow keeps shifting to prevent Renz from sweeping his leg. Finally, Renz abandons the Hammerlock and instead pulls Shadow into a Reverse Waistlock, flexing backwards and pulling Shadow into a Head Drop German Suplex, bridging the maneuver after nailing it. "1...2..." Shadow kicks out. Shadow rolls over onto his back after that, looking dazed from getting dropped on his head hard from the maneuver, and Renz turns his attention to the ropes, walking over and climbing up onto the top turnbuckle, steadying himself for a few moments and watching Shadow before diving forward and flipping into the Houston Hangover! Renz drives his leg down hard into Shadow's face, quickly rolling over for a cover. "1...2..." Shadow kicks out. Renz looks a little angered at not having got a three count there, but stands back up, picking Shadow up and hitting another of those hard European Uppercuts, then whips Shadow across the ring. Shadow ducks a Clothesline attempt, Renz ducking one of Shadow's own, only to have Shadow hit a Leg Lariat to the back of his head, knocking Renz down to the mat. Shadow lifts Renz up and nails a German Suplex of his own, but rolls back up to his feet, lifting Renz up as well and turning him around to face him before jumping up and connecting with an X-Factor, smashing Renz's face down into the mat and rolling him over for a cover. "1...2..." Renz kicks out. Still, Renz is weakened after that, and Shadow senses his chance, picking him up and pulling him over to the corner, where he hits a Toekick before pulling Tenz into a Standing Head Scissors. Shadow lifts Renz up in a Powerbomb position, facing away from the turnbuckle, then spins around to hit the first Powerbomb in the SHADOW BUS-NO! Renz hops forward off Shadow's shoulders and lands behind him, quickly turning and picking him up in a Back Suplex position to set him on the top rope, nailing a series of hard forearm shots to the back of his head and neck before climbing the ropes and hooking his head under his arm again before falling back and hitting an AVALANCHE BACK SUPLEX!!! Shadow lands right on his head and neck with the maneuver, mostly, and Renz has a hard time covering right away, the punishment from earlier catching up with him, but he finally drapes an arm over Shadow's chest. "1...2...TH-FOOT ON THE ROPES!"

Renz looks over at the ropes afterwards, sighing and shaking his head before picking himself back up to his feet and bringing Shadow up with him, grabbing his head and connecting with another European Uppercut, knocking Shadow's brains around inside his head. Shadow suddenly responds with his own right hand though, connecting with a punch to the side of Renz's face. Renz fires back with one of his own, the two continually trading punches. DISCUS PUNCH FROM RENZ - DUCKED! DISCUS PUNCH FROM SHADOW - DUCKED! DOUBLE DISCUS PUNCH - BOTH CONNECT!!! Shadow and Renz go down hard, both hitting Discus Punches at the exact same time, falling down hard on their backs. Finally, the two manage to get up a kneeling position, and trade chops from here, occasionally mixing in punches and slaps, Renz finally digging his fingers into Shadow's face and forcing him back into the corner, breaking away at four from Jackie. Renz comes right back in with a series of chops and European Uppercuts though, unleashing the flurry on Shadow and finally walking away as Shadow slumps down to a seated position in the corner. Renz takes a moment to catch his breath, then walks over and picks Shadow up, whipping him into the opposite corner and running forward, only to be caught with an elbow to the face. Shadow waits for Renz to face him again after stumbling away, then picks him up and drops back, smashing Renz's face down into the top turnbuckle with a Snake Eyes! Renz stumbles away, clutching his face, but Shadow catches him as he turns around and nails a Hammerthrow Clothesline! Renz goes down hard, and Shadow quickly follows it up with a pin. "1...2...TH-" Renz barely gets a shoulder up to gasps from the crowd. Shadow senses his chance now, though, standing up and backing off to the side, watching Renz as he slowly starts to get to his feet. Finally, Shadow dashes forward, grabbing Renz's head as he passes and spinning it around into the SHADOW SLAM!!! The crowd lets out a huge cheer for Shadow connecting his finisher, finally rolling over to drape an arm across Renz's chest. "1...2...THR-RENZ GETS A SHOULDER UP!!!" The crowd stares in shock as Renz manages to get a shoulder up and break the pin. Shadow stares at Jackie, but Jackie tells him it was only a two count. Shadow quickly turns over and hooks Renz's leg for another pin. "1...2...TH-" Renz gets a shoulder up again. Shadow is just in shock at this point, wondering what he's going to have to do to put Renz away. Finally, he lifts him back up to his feet in a Reverse Waistlock, but Renz quickly spins out of it, hooking Shadow in a Full Nelson and flexing back in a Dragon Suplex! "1...2...TH-" Shadow kicks out, just barely.

Finally, Renz gets back to his feet, picking his hand up and drawing it across his throat, signalling the end. Renz gets Shadow up, then locks in a Hammerlock, hooking one of his legs with Shadow's and sweeping it out to hit the SUDDEN IMPACT! Renz quickly shifts forward into a crouched position over Shadow's back, reaching forward and locking in the SHATTERED!!! Shadow cries out in agony as he's put into the submission hold, flailing his free arm in the direction of the ropes, but Renz rears back, working the neck and shoulder of Shadow for all he's worth. Finally, though, he doesn't seem to be getting a tap out, and Shadow's getting closer to the ropes, so Renz breaks the hold, twisting Shadow's arm out of the Hammerlock and into an Armbar, then dives over him and rolls him up in a LA MAGISTRAL!!! "ONE...TWO...THR-NOOO!!!" Shadow somehow manages to kick out of that pinning combination, the crowd just staring at the ring, wondering how these two are kicking out of their opponents' best efforts to put them away. Renz slowly gets up to his feet and gets to the corner, climbing up it again, thinking maybe another Houston Hangover will put Shadow down. As Renz starts to get settled on the top rope, Shadow is back up again, however, coming in and hitting a series of hard punches to Renz's head, starting to climb up the ropes, but Renz tosses him back down before starting to climb the ropes again. Shadow gets right back up, though, coming back and hitting a DISCUS PUNCH! Renz looks dazed after that, but as Shadow climbs the turnbuckles and goes to hook a Front Facelock on Renz, he just tosses him back down once again. Finally, Shadow turns and pulls the nearby top rope, making Renz fall and crotch himself. Shadow takes his as his moment of opportunity, climbing up the buckles and hitting a few more punches before putting Renz in a Standing Head Scissors, spinning him up into a Powerbomb position and turning around to face the ring, then jumps off and hits the GRIM REAP-NOOOO!!! RENZ COUNTERS IT INTO A HURRICARANA IN MID AIR! BRIDGE!!! "ONE...TWO...THR-NOOOO!!!" Shadow kicks out once again. Renz seems to be working on a rush of adrenaline now, though, picking Shadow back up and hitting a Toekick on him before locking in a Front Facelock and hooking one of Shadow's legs, lifting him up vertical before dropping him down in a FISHERMAN BUSTAAAHHH!!! Renz rolls his legs and gets back up to his feet, however, picking Shadow up again and lifting him up for a second FISHERMAN BUSTAAAHHH!!! Renz swings his legs around one more time, getting back up to his feet and lifting Shadow up, then drops down to a seated position and pulls Shadow into the RENZ DRIVER '05!!! The crowd lets out an "OHHH" as Renz nails his signature Fisherman's Suplex Piledriver, grabbing Shadow's legs and flipping over in a Jacknife Pin. "ONE...TWO...THREE!!!"

"Here is your winner...'ARCHETYPE' ERIC RENZ!!!" Renz rolls off Shadow to lay on his stomach next to him, the crowd rising to their feet and giving a standing ovation, having never expected to see a match like that as the opener on Madness. Renz slowly gets up to his feet, walking over with Jackie to check on Shadow, who seems to be okay, Renz helping Shadow up to his feet. Shadow looks over at him for a few moments, seeming disappointed that he lost the match, but shakes Renz's hand. Renz smiles, then grabs Shadow's forearm and lifts his arms up into the air, the crowd letting out a cheer for that. Renz lets go and allows Shadow to exit the ring, Renz now moving over to the corners and celebrating for a while as "Nitro (Youth Energy)" fills the speakers, finally exiting the ring and heading up the ramp to the back as the crowd cheers and claps loudly for the great match they just saw.

BRUISES!

Coming right off a commercial break after the last match the Barton Arena crowd is pleasantly surprised to hear "Bruises" by Skindred which plays across the arena's sound system somewhat unexpectedly. The noise from the cheers in the arena almost drowns out the chances of viewers at home hearing the lyrics of the song, but that isn't a problem for Steve Twist who walks out from the back in a plain looking pair of khakis and a plain white Hanes t-shirt. Of course he has his usual "Steve Twist" signature Nikes on as well, but no one really takes much notice to what he is wearing as people are either cheering for him, or for the few Durem fans in attendance, booing him. The praises of the crowd and applause largely outweighs the jeering however, and Steve likes what he hears as he walks down to the ring somewhat quickly, wanting to get right onto this planned meeting between Austin Azure and him before their one on one match at fadetoblack next Tuesday. Many fans notice that Steve isn't posing or playing to the crowd like usual and seems amazingly focused as he enters the ring via the ring steps and walks over to the opposite set of ropes from the entrance ramp immediately where a microphone is handed to him. Steve holds this with his right hand, partially because he is right handed and partially because his left shoulder still has bandages on it under his shirt thanks to the attack by Austin last week. Knowing full well Azure won't try anything if he values his life tonight Steve looks sure of himself as he glances at the crowd for a moment, noticing some of the signs, before raising the microphone up to his lips and beginning.

Twist: "Usually, as the fans here know, I come to Barton to entertain and amaze through great wrestling matches, but tonight things are going to be a little different."

This announcement gets some jeers from the crowd who would much rather see Steve in a wrestling match even if he is very charismatic.

Twist: "You know I feel that same way, but I've waited almost six months for the match that is going down next Tuesday at fadetoblack so really what is another week? It isn't a whole hell of a lot as I'm sure my opponent is starting to figure out right now because of the stress on him to not only beat me, but to also walk out of this ring in one piece."

Just the mention of someone tearing Austin Azure limb to limb gets an enormous pop from the Barton fans while the scattered Durem fans voice their disapproval.

Twist: "Of course that doesn't mean our match at fadetoblack is going to be like a brawl I might have with Omega. Nor will it be a big stiff-fest like I had with TT at MXC. And it will most definitely not be like my matches with Xunkai or that one 'Cage' guy. What it will be, and this is important since it's the main reason I'm coming out here tonight, is a..."

*Steve isn't able to finish this sentence as suddenly a familiar guitar riff begins to play in the Barton Arena before being joined by another as "Better Than You" by The Hellacopters starts to play. A great amount of sound and noise is once again generated by the crowd like for Steve's entrance earlier, except this time it is a loud amount of booing and jeers except for the heel loving smarks in the crowd, most of which hail from Durem.*

YOU'RE A KNIFE TO HIS GUN
WHEN YOU'RE BORED
HE'S OUT HAVING FUN

YOU'RE ALWAYS ON THE LOOK OUT
HE'S A STAR
YOU STRUGGLE WITH DO'S
AND WHO YOU ARE

SO C'MON - C'MON YOU WANNA GET ON
AND IF YOU ONLY KNEW
YOU'RE A GIVER HE'S A GETTER
JUST A LITTLE BIT BETTER THAN YOU

*While the crowd continues to let their hate or love be heard for the self-proclaimed "Wrestling G.O.D.", Austin Azure makes his way out from the back and onto the top of the entrance ramp where he pauses and looks around at the fans. Of course doing something like this without shouting "******** you redneck hicks" would be weird for Austin, thus he throws out that line which only gets him more jeers. Even with these the young and talented wrestler has a smirk on his face and begins a very slow walk down the entrance ramp towards the ring.*

HE'S A DOCTOR
YOU'RE A NURSE
HE'S GOT UNBOUNCED CHECKS
YOU GOT AN EMPTY PURSE

HE'S A HUNDRED AND TEN
WHEN YOU GOT A HUNCH
A FIVE STAR KING
AND YOU'RE OUT TO LUNCH

SO C'MON - C'MON YOU WANNA GET ON
AND IF YOU ONLY KNEW
YOU'RE A GIVER HE'S A GETTER
JUST A LITTLE BIT BETTER THAN YOU

*Throwing out insults left and right to people in the crowd while his entrance theme continues to play amuses Austin for the time being while Steve stands in the ring yawning. When Azure finally makes it down to the bottom of the entrance ramp however, Steve finally gets fed up with the young wrestler and suddenly begins to speak again.*

Twist: "Alright someone cut his damn music! I mean damn Austin, you used THE HELLACOPTERS as the artists for your theme and you picked THAT crappy song out of all the possibilities. I guess 'tastes in music' must just be another category you can't quite cut it in when it comes to being superior to everyone."

*Looking up at Steve for the first time since coming out from the back for this confrontation Austin just continues to smirk as he calls for an official to come give him a microphone. Even seeing that Steve still has an injured shoulder Austin is not one bit anxious to get into the ring with a guy he has been besting for close to half a year now. It takes a few moments, but an official hands Austin a microphone which Azure pats with the palm of his hand a couple of times to test it before speaking into it.*

Azure: "That's real funny coming from you of all people Steve seen as how you used some band that doesn't know whether they are punk, metal, or reggae. And don't give me some s**t about them being a hybrid of that stuff because no matter what you say it doesn't change the fact they are as indecisive as you."

Twist: "How, may I ask, am I indecisive?"

Azure: "Well first of all..."

*Austin jumps up onto the ring apron while going to answer this question from Steve, but quickly hops off after to protect himself from a possible charge from Steve who stays stationary through all of this.*

Azure: "Like I was saying, you obviously can't decide if you are a wrestler, an entertainer, or just a no talent loser the BTWF hired because they were such a small, shitty promotion at the time."

The fans get on Austin's case about this answer rather quickly, but Steve quiets them down after a moment and seems to be amused by what Austin just said according to the expression on his face.

Twist: "Well your first two answers may be right there Austin since I do enjoy entertaining as much as wrestling, but at least I'm not always spouting off about how great a wrestler I am when really all I can manage to do is a bunch of submissions with maybe a couple of 'entertaining' moves thrown in so the crowd doesn't fall asleep."

Azure: "Just the type of answer I would expect from you due to the lack of interest you actually have in wrestling anymore thanks to your retarded fanbase. Now all you have to do is throw on a pair of wrestling boots, do a bunch of moves, bleed a little, and BAM the Wrestling Observer is giving you MOTYC shills like they were crappy Rap CDs at Sam Goody. Me on the other hand, well I have to go out to the ring, give it my all plus some, and then I might get some mention while these fans still refuse to cheer me thanks to the blinders being put on them by the likes of you, Brian Blade, and the rest of the guys in the BTWF who won't allow any upward movement. Not that I have a problem with losers like anyone who isn't with EP getting held down, but when people are standing in my way because of their own interests, or the fact they think they are a draw, that's when I get pissed off."

*The Barton fans seem slightly confused at what Austin is saying, but boo him nonetheless since it is what they have always been doing and have no problem with it. Steve on the other hand loses the amusement from his look and gets a tad bit more serious with Austin.*

Twist: "That seems mighty noble of you Austin, thinking of your teammates and all, but really what you meant to say is anyone besides yourself. Keeping that in mind you also have to realize something that you haven't yet Austin and that is you aren't a draw in some places. Maybe you are in Durem, but in Barton you don't have the ability to draw flies with week old garbage. The same goes for Gambino thanks to how anti-anything with blood or weapons you are. On the other hand, while some people may not like to admit it, I could draw at any arena we have been to..."

An out of line Durem fan suddenly stands up and yells "NOT DUREM!" at Steve who turns towards him and continues.

Twist: "You seem to think that, but yet you're here tonight and obviously have some reason to jeer me meaning that, even if it wasn't all me, you still had booing me in mind as part of your agenda when you bought that ticket. Like it or not you Durem sheep would come in flocks to the arena just to jeer and boo me and you know it. The difference with Austin though, is that the Barton fans don't come to jeer him. They come here to be entertained by the likes of me and other exciting wrestlers, not to sit around on their hands or boo during some 'technically sound' Austin Azure match. This is why you weren't immediately pushed to the top of the card Austin and had to use me to get there, but now that you are here you have something to prove and that is..."

Azure: "Whoa whoa whoa."

*Once more Austin cuts Steve off during his little rant on Austin which annoys the Barton crowd, but is perfectly fine with Austin.*

Azure: "Like that huh? Anyway I had to stop you right there Steve because at fadetoblack I am not the one that has something to prove. In the history books I have a clean win over you and one win is all that matters to me Steve. This means that you are the one that has something to prove at fadetoblack and that is whether or not you can beat me."

*More negative crowd reactions are all Austin receives for this as he pauses and jumps up onto the ring apron once again as he continues to talk.*

Azure: "Knowing you Steve I already am going to assume you have some come back ready to get the crowd on their feet going 'oh yay Steve Twist have my babies' so I'm going to stop you for a moment and continue with what I am saying since the last time I checked this was a conversation you invited me to."

*Now Austin steps in between the ropes and into the ring finally after being so cautious at first. It seems that he is really sticking to what he said last week about his resolve to not run from Steve.*

Azure: "So like I said, you have something to prove to me and these people you seem to have so much of a connection to whereas I have nothing to prove. I've already shown these fans I am the best technical wrestler in the BTWF and quite possibly the best in the world today. I've already shown all the damn people who think they can wrestle on the roster that they can't, among those being both of the current Tag Team Champions, the current TV Champion who I proved couldn't beat me without help during the 8-Man tag before ToG II, and soon I'll show the BTWF Champion that he can't hold a candle to me either."

Twist: "I think you're forgetting someone."

Azure: "Oh I haven't forgotten about Revision, but I have no intention of wrestling him because like you saw last week we are a force that can't just be broken apart like the shallow bonds between these people and you."

Twist: "Actually I was talking about a certain someone who beat you at ToG II."

*The "Wrestling G.O.D. pauses for a moment as if he is trying to figure out what Steve is talking about.*

Azure: "Doesn't ring a bell."

With Austin now in the ring with him Steve is trying his best to remain calm, but this forgetfulness of Austin actually makes him laugh a bit.

Twist: "So the name Killa K wouldn't mean anything to you then?"

Azure: "Oh that guy, the one I let beat me. Everyone has already seen what happened to him when Darson choked his a** out at Madness: Night of Champions IV. The only reason I let go of those submissions to give him another chance in his match with me was to let the world see how much of a fraud he really was when he went up against someone the caliber of Darson who could rip him apart."

Twist: "In other words Darson is a caliber above you and you admit it?"

Azure: "That's real funny, but you're missing the point. All I did was have Darson do my dirty work while I focused on an infinitely more important title than one of being the 'best wrestler' in this federation."

Twist: "Anti-diva b***h is a more important title than best wrestler? Wow..."

The crowd laughs along with this joke as Austin's face turns a bit red, showing that he is a bit flustered.

Azure: "Well at least being against women who can't wrestle is a better cause than trying to save a shitty federation like this by pretending to wrestle and kicking the s**t out of people who are smaller than you."

Twist: "Xunkai got everything that was coming to it and you know it."

Azure: "That doesn't mean you should have taken him out!"

Twist: "And why not!? You think you know him so well, but you don't! No one knows him like I did and the real reasons he did what he did!"

Azure: "Don't talk down to me like you know everything Steve! I came into this federation for a reason and somewhere along the way that reason got lost so now I'm staring down the barrel of a match at fadetoblack with you because I thought you could help me with that reason!"

Twist: "You and your damn reasons don't have anything to do with me Austin. Trying to wreck my career so you can take my damn spot I've earned has nothing to do with me except the fact I was the one you targeted."

Azure: "You really don't get it at all do you? I came to this federation to WRESTLE my way to the top, but apparently management didn't like that concept! I thought maybe, just maybe you could help me with my problems since we used to wrestle together in Michigan indies, but obviously stardom has gotten to your head."

*The crowd doesn't seem to know what Austin is talking about and stays silent as Azure explains himself.*

Azure: "Didn't know that I used to wrestle some Michigan independents, huh? Well I did seen as how I have some family there and one of the wrestlers I met in the premier federation at the time was none other than the spectacular Steve Twist with the backing of that sack of crap Dan Tritan. Back then you had some love for the business Steve, but now all you do is the same thing as your awful trainer, look for the big paychecks. Up until my arrival in the BTWF I looked up to you Steve because I thought who I saw on TV was the same, arrogant, cocky, don't take no s**t from any ******** wrestler that I grew up with. Hell, you were the reason I was able to start wrestling at age 17 which usually wouldn't be allowed thanks to your star power and telling the guy in charge I would do some good for MTW."

Azure: "Of course I'm sure a bit more explanation is needed here for the fans who've read my bio on BTWF.com and unlike what you might think I actually started getting taught by T.J. Luminous at the age of 16. I'm not going to go on about my past however since I shouldn't even be telling anyone this, but you are the one who brought it upon yourself that I hate you Steve. Even when I couldn't wrestle in MTW anymore because you, my endorsement, left I still watched you and tried to learn what I could to be like you."

*Austin pauses after this and doesn't seem so sure about what to say next as Steve decides to step up and take the floor instead.*

Twist: "I wondered about that...You may be right that I don't wrestle just because I enjoy it anymore Austin, but I'm not the one who has lost my way. I've had good times, bad times, and bloody times here in the BTWF, but even when I've got my a** pummeled to the ground and injured I have still been enjoying my time here. Like you said before I'm the type of guy who doesn't take s**t from people and if someone on the roster has a problem with me so what, it's their problem not mine. As for leaving you in MTW that wasn't my decision and you know it. Besides all you had to do was tell me that Chase was giving you s**t and I would have set him straight, but instead like the little a*****e you are you held onto your pride and almost got arrested for trying to wrestle despite being underage."

Azure: "Age shouldn't matter when it comes to wrestling and I've already made a point to prove it here. As of August 19th I'll be 21 and by that time I'll have beaten you once more and have a shot at the BTWF Championship waiting for me. What I'm talking about right now isn't the future, but the past and I'm not done yet Steve. When I came into this federation in late October of 2004 I was so excited because I figured that I could talk with you, get a couple of warm-up matches, and before long I would be in some title scene, but I never got any of that."

Azure: "Maybe it is because you were too much of a big shot at the time, but you never even said hello to me. Not to mention I waited, and waited, and waited around here to get booked in a real damn match and when I did I got to go against total jobbers. I could have been in any title scene and would have made it better at that point, but instead I got to go up against a bunch of losers who probably weren't even trained to wrestle. Things didn't stop there either as soon I got my big break which was a shot at the absolute crappiest of all crappy titles, the Television Championship. A title that I held longer than anyone else, but one that meant absolutely nothing. Hell, it still doesn't mean s**t and I don't know why that Russian Reject Yumir Ugoslav or whatever the ******** his name is hasn't thrown it into the trash."

Twist: "Let me get this straight. You're mad because I didn't blow the owner of this place to get you a higher up position? That's just pathetic Austin and I know you could do better than that."

Azure: "And I did. You seem to forget that I'm your opponent at fadetoblack too, not just that you're mine. Like all the other people before you, you think that you will walk by me with relative ease because I'm not some freak with a zombie gimmick that is staler than listening to Coldplay three times. I'm not some large Samoan man who steals all his tricks from a single wrestler who stole all his tricks from another wrestler either. What I am Steve, is the toughest opponent you'll ever face in this insignificant federation!"

*With this Austin drops the hand he has his microphone held in to his side to let Steve state a few things.*

Twist: "You're tough, I'll give you that, but I think you may be overestimating yourself. You see Austin, just because you've admired me and just because you can talk down about people you've never faced doesn't give you some kind of bragging rights going into a match against me. Sure you have beat me, once with help from Xunkai, but that doesn't mean the result will be the same here. This time I will prove to you that I can beat you since that seems to be what you want me to prove, but before we end this conversation I have something to ask you. If you were trying to emulate me why do you have the style you do now?"

Azure: "That my foe, is the right question. Basically when I was training I was told that having one style was much better than having a hybrid of styles, so instead of doing all the flippy stuff which I found amazingly contrived anyway I decided to actually wrestle. Not to mention due to my amateur background it comes natural. Now with that out of the way and our hard feelings aside how about showing a little bit of honor and respect and shaking my hand to prove this will be a wrestling match at fadetoblack and not one of your attempts to make yourself look good at my expense because it just isn't happening."

*Austin moves towards the middle of the ring and extends his hand to Steve as the crowd starts to boo to tell Steve to refuse it.*

Twist: "Usually I wouldn't, but we do go back a long ways so I guess I can this one time, but this doesn't let you off the hook and I can't promise that I won't pummel the s**t out of you."

With this Steve goes to shake Austin's hand, but as soon as he grabs it Austin pulls Steve towards him before setting him up for and nailing Steve with the UNSUNG GENERATIONS!!! Azure immediately stands back up to his feet and grabs his microphone off the ground after having to let go of it to hit Steve with this move.

Azure: "You lied to me Steve! Telling me that you wouldn't take s**t from anyone, all it takes is a little trust from the past for you to let yourself be betrayed again!"

*Now more than ever the crowd is on Austin's case as the jeer the fact Austin attacked Steve after Twist had tried so hard to restrain himself for their whole conversation.*

Azure: "Oh shut up you stupid assholes! At least now I get what Steve sees in all of you and that is a piece of himself. He sees the stupidity he has in each and every one of you and thrives off it to act like more of a jackass each and every time he steps through those curtains."

Azure: "You know, don't even bother booing that because it's so damn predictable. Just keep your mouths shut while I tell Steve a few things here."

*Azure walks over to where Steve is struggling to get up off the ground after being caught off guard by the Unsung Generations and goes down to one knee in front of Steve.*

Azure: "You really have become soft lately Steve. Everyone in this federation thinks they have seen your bad side, especially after you almost killed Xunkai, but really you have a side of you that is even worse. The thing is you don't want to show this bad side to the fans because you have fear and doubts they won't like you after seeing it. That is the weakness you have Steve and is why you can never beat me, not even on your best day."

Azure: "Back in the day we used to do a lot together, but in those only three months we wrestled together in MTW I saw a side of you that you don't want people to see. These fans may think it is some kind of angry brutal side, but it isn't. The side of you that you never allowed anyone to see was your soft side, and for some reason you let it slip out when you were off guard. The thing is, just like that you ended up once again being betrayed, just like you were betrayed by Travis who took your initial spot in Japan thanks to him telling Dan you didn't want it. Of course Dan kept working to get you over there, but you never did and now look at you."

Azure: "But what I'm really surprised by is the fact you still have an ounce of trust in me after all that we've been through in the last few months. I almost ended your career last week and this week I could if I wanted to, but I did what I wanted to Steve. I wanted to show you that you cannot trust me so that you would come at me with your all at fadetoblack. You were absolutely right when you stated earlier that the only person I care for is myself, but I do have some respect for people like Xunkai and Revision. I used to have that respect for you too, but I lied when I said I didn't hate you after you left MTW. I despised you like nothing ever before and never had any interest in your career until I came to the BTWF. From that point on I made it my job to see to it that you would never get back into the spotlight again without me grabbing it from you and once you made your return I made my move."

*Being bored of Austin's story and still angry that he attacked Steve the Barton fans start a "shut the ******** up" chant directed at Azure, but the "Wrestling G.O.D." doesn't even seem to care as he continues talking.*

Azure: "Screw you people. You don't have any idea how long I've waited to expose the weak side of this fool to the world. Not to mention have a one on one match with him that we were going to have in MTW. The reason that didn't happen though, as I'm sure you remember Steve, was that I became ill before the match and a replacement was made. The funny thing is, that really I was never ill. Plus that was the only time in my career when I've complained about being sick to get out of a match. I'm sure that is all starting to make sense to you right about now Steve, and you also realize that I've been playing you like a fiddle this entire time. Of course I didn't expect what happened at Madness: Night of Champions IV, so I improvised and ended up turning this match you made against me around so now I'm in control and calling the shots. Of course it is still a must win situation for both of us, but I would have beat you either way, meaning that with the edge in this match there is no doubt as to who should win it."

*A look of anger has been growing on Steve's face during all of this, but as Austin stands up after completing this he stomps the left shoulder of Steve a few times to keep Twist down on the ground.*

Azure: "Knowing all this must be a comfort for you Steve since now you know that next month you'll be able to meet some crappy wrestler like Red Comet again in another one of your 'spectacular' PPV matches. For me on the other hand, all this is really is my chance to prove beyond any doubt how good of a wrestler I am. So prepare yourself Steve, because you're going to end up wrestling whether you like it or not to try and make good on your promise to defeat me as well as to not end up another casualty in an Unsung Generation."

The microphone that Austin had in his hand drops to the ground as Azure turns around and leaves the ring before starting up the entrance ramp. Right when he reaches the top however, he is stopped by the sound of Steve's voice. The former BTWF Champion is up to his knees holding his left shoulder with the microphone in his right hand, but Austin doesn't see this as he keeps his back facing Steve.

Twist: "Don't worry about me Austin, I'm used to being betrayed. I'm also used to having my trust broken, but the end results aren't what you might expect Austin. You want a wrestling match at fadetoblack, you got it, but if you think that I'm not going to find a way to beat you as well as dismantle you until you are in overwhelming pain then you have got another thing coming!"

*Austin laughs a bit under his breath before walking forward again to the back as Steve stands back on his feet, knowing full well that fadetoblack is going to be a very personal match, but one that is a bit different than any other match he has had before.*

Hell?s Guardian (champ) VS Tsunami FS CHAMPIONSHIP

The next match is set for one fall and it is for the FS Championship, first entering the ring Tsunami.

The crowd is chatting amongst themselves, when suddenly the lights dim in the Durem Superdome and the DDD flickers into life. After several long moments of nothing but "snow" on the screens, the fans begin to mumble amongst themselves. Suddenly the words "You Can''t Hide from the Tide" are superimposed on the screen. The fans begin to boo as "So Cold" by Breaking Benjamin blares across the PA system. Tsunami emerges donning the usual ring attire, to trumultuous jeers. He reaches the top of the ring and the crowd jeers, if possible, even louder as he holds his clich餠fists up. A shower of blue sparks shoots up behind him. As the pyros die, the lights brighten again and Tsunami begins his descent down the entrance ramp. He reaches the ring and vaults over the top rope. He walks around in circles for a few moments. He then turns to look up at the entrance ramp and wait for his opponent to arrive.

Introducing next, he is the current FS Champion, Hell?s Guardian

GOODBYEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
GOODBYEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
GOODBYEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

November 10th, a cold dark night
You could feel that something wasn''t right.
That night many hearts did cry
When we learned we had to say goodbye.

All embraced under one common song
the body is dead but life lives on..

All embraced under one common song
the body is dead but life lives on..

Good-bye Stephen. Good-bye you friend. You were so young.
* Suddenly Hell jumped out of the back with the FS championship on his shoulders as fans stood to their feet with cheers*
Good-bye Stephen. Good-bye you friend. You were so young

The Cars lined the streets, as it was coming to an end.
The sun shined so brightly the day we buried our friend.

All embraced under one common song
the body is dead but life lives on..

All embraced under one common song
the body is dead but life lives on.

Good-bye Stephen. Good-bye you friend. You were so young.
* Hell got down to the ring and stopped then circled the ring shaking hands with the fans*
Good-bye Stephen. Good-bye you friend. You were so young

Losing in the fall, lost innocence came down
An 18 year old boy was buried in the ground.
A family''s broken hearts, a friend''s streaming tears.
The light lost in death, the living''s growing fears.
Of Eternal darkness or is it spiritual light to come with terms with death on the darkest night.
A brother lost a brother, a friend lost a friend, a mother lost a son but Stephen''s soul will never end.

(You were so young)
A brother lost a brother, a friend lost a friend, a mother lost a son but Stephen''s soul will never end
(Good-bye)
(You were so young)
A brother lost a brother, a friend lost a friend, a mother lost a son but Stephen''s soul will never end.
* Hell slid into the ring ready to fight *
(Good-bye)
(You were so young)
A brother lost a brother, a friend lost a friend, a mother lost a son but Stephen''s soul will never end.

Ding?ding?ding

Tsunami and Hell get right into each others faces, they have fought each other so many times they just about know each others moves. Hell starts off faking a left to Tsunami?s stomach and then delivers a right to his face and punches him back to the ropes, Hell bounces him off the ropes to the other side but Tsunami reverses it sending Hell running. Tsunami ducks his head to soon and Hell running back rolls over Tsunami?s back and rebounds off the other ropes. Tsunami sees Hell coming from the other side and ducks Hell so Hell jumps over him, Tsunami grabs Hell on his next rebounds and reverses him towards a turnbuckle, Hell just keeps running up the turnbuckle till he reaches the top and moonsaults off taking down Tsunami. Hell stayed on the mat and quickly went to work hitting Tsunami with some punches to the face. Tsunami pushes him off and gets to his feet and tries to run at Hell, but Hell sees him and rolls out of the way and gets to his feet. Both men are again up and move to the center of the ring and lock up. Hell gets the strength advantage and grabs Tsunami around his neck and hits him with a DDT. Hell goes for a quick pin but is only able to get a two count. Hell gets up and waits for Tsunami. Hell went up and tried to punch Tsunami but he ducked the punch and grabbed Hell around the waist from behind and tried to suplex him but Hell rolled out and landed on his feet and pushed Tsunami towards the ropes, when he was going towards Hell of the rebound, Hell ducked down right in time and hit a huge shoulder back toss, sending Tsunami out to the floor facing the entrance ramp. Hell stayed on the opposite side of the ring and when he saw signs of Tsunami standing, Hell charged and jumped off the ropes and hit a huge body press against Tsunami causing both men to be out on the outside. Hell made it to his feet first but Tsunami was right behind using the guard railing to get himself up. Hell went to attack Tsunami but he elbowed Hell in gut and then slammed his head into the railing. Tsunami then jumped the railing and started exiting through the fans. Hell got up and hit his head some and then tried to catch up to him being followed closely by the ref.

Sharpton: Hey where are they all going???

Hartman: Looks like they are heading for the back area, this is a falls count anywhere match?

Sharpton: Camera people; get your Asses in gear and started following them.

Tsunami made it through the fans and to the merchandise area before Hell came up and hit him from behind. Hell then got on Tsunami and locked him in a headlock on the floor with fans standing near being held back by guards. Tsunami eventually got to his feet and got Hell off of him, turned around quickly and hit Hell with a huge clothesline. Tsunami then mounted Hell and started punching Hell right in his face. Hell rolled him over and began punching him. Eventually the two separated and stood to their feet and started taking deep breathes. Tsunami moved in and tried to kick Hell in the face, but Hell grabbed his foot and turned him around and went for the SKF, but Tsunami pushed him off. Hell turned and Tsunami went for a close range clothesline, but again Hell ducked the clothesline and nailed an SKF on Tsunami right to the floor. Hell stood up right away looking down at his opponent and he then turned around to meet with Kage who punched Hell right in the face. Hell shook it off and started fist fighting with Kage. By this time the ref had already announced this as a no contest match due to Kage?s Interference. The two went back and forth until Hell through Kage into one of the nearby merchandise stand. Hell went to look over and got met by a chair shot from Kage. When Hell hit the floor Kage jumped over and went to work on Hell?s back. Tsunami when he got up saw the fight and started to walk away until Kage ran up to him and cracked the chair over Tsunami?s head. Kage left the area as fans stared down at the bloody Hell and Tsunami as we fade?to?commercial.

The Durem crowd has come to life, as the camera fades back from commercial, showing the Durem Arena from the outside, the crowd giving a little pop, seeing their arena. The camera then fades to the Vic and Jim, The Voice and Headhunter, who are seated at ringside, smiling as they look around the arena, while they begin talking to each other.

The Voice- "It's rocking in here, huh Jim?"
Headhunter- "What a crowd. They're going crazy!"
The Voice- "Speaking of crazy....last week at Fadetoblack, we saw some footage that I personally found disturbing."
Headhunter- "You mean Conners? Bah, he's lost it because he lost to Ford in his last match. Who could blame him?"
The Voice- "Regardless of it all, Maxwell is scheduled to be here tonight to...."

As the arena is just beginning to settle down, "With the Fire" by Fozzy begins to play and the arena begins to darken, which recieves a mixed reaction from the crowd. While some of the fans throughout the Durem Arena begin to boo, most cheer out of excitement for one of the biggest stars in the BTWF's return. After a moment, Maxwell Conners emerges from the back with a rather cocky smile laden across his face. Instead of his usual ring attire, Maxwell instead is wearing a white suit, complete with a coat that goes down to the waist, along with his trademark shades. Once Maxwell has completely emerged from the curtains, he straightens his collar as he looks all around. "Ladies and gentleman, welcome the RETURNING "Pinnacle of Perfection" Maxwell Conners!" The announcement gets a mixed reaction from the crowd, most people cheering him though, as the camera flashes to a quick sign that says "Welcome back Maxwell," before flashing back to Maxwell, who is on the right side of the entrance ramp, pointing and taunting random fans, before walking, albeit quickly to the other side of the ramp, where he crouched down and points to the fans before pointing back to himself.

Headhunter- "I think he heard you Vic."

Maxwell has now made his way back to the center of the ramp, where he simply takes a moment to gather himself before heading down the ramp. He passes along random fans, a few giving him a "thumbs down" sign, most wanting a high five from the returning Maxwell. Regardless, Maxwell ignores all of them, as he keeps his eyes set on the ring. Once Maxwell reaches the ring, not wanting to wrinkle up his suit, he instead takes the stairs, preceding to take the advantage to taunting one last fan before he begins to climb up the stairs. He climbs them slowly, taking his time to look out at all the fans and to take in the reaction he is getting, despite it being boos with a mixture of cheers. Once up the apron, Maxwell quickly climbs through the ropes as the arena lights begin to turn back on, as Maxwell makes his way towards Victor Cross' station. He reaches out his hand for a mic, which a ringside crewsmen quickly hands to him, before making his way back to the center of the ring. He looks as he is about to speak, but the crowd is buzzing so immensly, he can't help but smirk at all the reactions he has provoked. After a moment, as the crowd seems to have simmered down, Maxwell begins to speak.

"You know, ever since I left a month ago, people have been asking me, 'How was it like to lose to Stephen Ford at Night of Champions?' And I keep telling them the same thing....I was flat out SCREWED in that match." The crowd gives a mixed reaction to that, most cheering for Maxwell, some just laughing at him in general, but regardless, Maxwell goes on, as if he was in his own little world. "That's when I realized that in order to stop the madness that is Maxwell Conners getting screwed, I must go back to the ROOT of the problem. You know...a few monthes ago...the Madness after Legacy of Supremacy. Maxwell Conners and Stephen Ford vs. the Renegade Assclowns. Tag team championship. We all know how that went down, so it's no use dwelling on it anymore. All I know is that in order to stop this chaos, these screwjobs, I need to win those tag team titles. Make up for the loss a few monthes back which started a series of events which led to Maxwell Conners being screwed and screwed...time and time again" The crowd keeps buzzing, wondering if Maxwell has become a tad unstable in his leave.

"Darkfyre and Eclipse...the Legacy of Destruction...our current World Tag Team Champs. They've been good, I give them that. They have beaten Nature, and they have beat the dreaded G...o....L." Maxwell says that in a voice of fake fear, before smirking to himself and laughing it off. "But they have yet to face someone as talented as myself. I mean, who else can claim to being the Pinnacle of Perfection in the BTWF?" The crowd cheers Maxwell, who is getting VERY cocky at this point, complete with a smirk, but settle down after a few moments to let him finish. "Who else can say they have defeated our current World Heavyweight Champion?" Maxwell lowers the mic and takes in the reaction he recieves from the crowd, seemingly asking them for an answer. "Wow, it seems the crowd in here is dumber than I thought. You guys make Stephen Ford look like Albert Einstein, I mean honestly." The crowd has a mixed reaction at this, some not happy at being insulted, some cheering at Maxwell regardless, which causes Maxwell to smirk. "The answer of course is simple...no one but Maxwell Conners. And Darkfyre and Eclipse...your tag titles are as good as mine as soon as...."

But before Maxwell can finish his thought, "Symphony of Destruction" by Megadeath starts to play, as the crowd seems to grow a little uneasy, knowing that the tag team champs will be out soon. Maxwell looks irrate by this, wanting to finish his promo, but he just shakes his head and makes his way to the opposite ropes from the entrance ramp, leaning back on them while talking trash to himself. After a moment, Darkfyre and Eclipse make their way from behind the curtain, as the crowd begins to boo them, but still some cheers arise. Both head to opposite sides of the ramp and hold their belts high above their heads. After a moment, both head back towards the center of the rampway and begin to walk down the ramp together, high fiving any fans that they can along the way. "Ladies and gentleman, please welcome our World Tag Team Champions, Darkfyre and Eclipse, the Legacy of Destruction!" Both members have now made their way to the ring, stopping to look at it, and Maxwell for a second, before sliding into the ring. Maxwell points at them and talks some trash, but stays on his side of the ring. After a moment, both tag team champions are back up to their feet and are heading towards Maxwell, who quickly scrambles to the other side of the ring, allowing Darkfyre the chance to grab a mic. Eclipse looks to want to grab one too, but Darkfyre shakes his head at him before turning his attention to Maxwell.

Darkfyre lets the reaction he is recieving soak in before he begins to speak, as Maxwell just leans against an opposite turnbuckle, not taking his eyes off of the tag team champs. After a moment, the crowd seems to simmer down a bit, so Darkfyre raises the mic towards his mouth and begins to speak. "If I may be so kind, what in the blue hell are you thinking?" Darkfyre stops for a second and looks at the crowd, some who boo him, while a few begin a "Darkfyre" chant, as Maxwell gets into an arguement with a fan in the front row. "You want my title? Are you joking me? You couldn't even beat Stephen Ford, what makes you think that you could beat the greatest Tag Team Champion ever? You must have something really wrong with your head if you're thinking that." Maxwell looks to be deeply offended by this, so he lifts up his mic and begins to snap at Darkfyre. "Listen buddy, I was making a name for myself in this buisness FAR before you or your lame brained partner even knew the difference between an Irish whip and an irish scotch. I'm a former World Heavyweight Champion. I've beaten Big Daddy, I've beaten Stephen Ford, I've beaten our current champion, Anthony Voorhees. So beating two jobbers such as yourselves to acheive a life long dream, and to stop the madness, should be a piece of cake." Maxwell now has a look on his face, as if saying, "what now?" feeling very confident after saying what he had, rightfully so by the cheers he is recieving. Darkfyre looks down, and looks to be thinking as to what he wants to say. Eclipse holds out his hand, wanting to speak, but Darkfyre brushes it off and goes off on his own.

"Quite frankly, I don't really care if you were making a name for yourself or making love to a gerbil, you aren't going to win these titles very easy." Some fans laugh at Darkfyre's comments, some boo him for insulting Maxwell. "I don't care who you've beaten. Big Daddy, he's gone. So he doesn't matter. Ford, he's nothing but a jobber that doesn't know which hole to stick it in at night, which is probably why his dog is pregnant right now." The crowd has a mixed reaction, obviously liking Stephen Ford getting insulted, even though he is a fan favorite. "And Voorhees, yeah he's the new World Heavyweight Champ, but you couldn't beat him without a tazer to the nutsack." Maxwell shakes his head at this as the crowd is buzzing immensly now, finding what Darkfyre said both utterly hillarious, as well as offensive. Maxwell seems almost ready to lose it by this point, but keeps his cool enough to be able to respond at least somewhat rationally. "Listen kid...do you know who you're talking to? Maxwell Conners has been screwed, and screwed, and SCREWED. I'm sick of being held down so some talentless superstars can hold the titles." The fans cheer at the fact that Maxwell called Darkfyre and Eclipse talentless as he goes on. "Titles are designed for greatness, which is why those titles you hold should be around the waist of the Pinnacle of Perfection and his partner...." Maxwell isn't finished his sentence when Darkfyre interrupts him and immediately fires back, Eclipse getting bored and just deciding to lean in a near corner. "Kid? Watch who you're calling a kid. And I don't care if it's your left or your right hand that you've been screwed by..." The fans chuckle a little bit at this comment, which obviously doesn't settle to well with Maxwell, but Darkfyre doesn't care as he goes on anyways. "And who are you calling talentless? Me? Couldn't be. Did you see my match last week? I basically took on both Iron and Apolo on my own and still won. Can you say you've done that? I don't think so. And I keep hearing about this partner of yours, are you going to arm wrestle me to try and win my title, or is this an actual person?"

Maxwell smirks to himself, obviously feeling pretty confident and cocky, regardless of all the insults he is taking at the hands of Darkfyre. He goes on anyways, feeling confident with the mixed reaction he is provoking out of the Durem arena. "Meaningless...juvenile...who the hell cares if you beat the GoL last week? Thats your problem Darkfyre. Your arrogance blinds you. You think that you're going to be the next best thing since Steve Twist. I hate to break it to you kid, but you couldn't even beat your tag partner for the frickin TELEVISION title." The crowd likes how low Maxwell seems to go, but he doesn't really care what the people think. He just smirks and goes on. "Speaking of partners...what do you want? A full tailed biography on HER?" Maxwell makes sure to add emphasis on that last word as Darkfyre immediately fires back, once again ignoring Eclipe's attempt to talk. "I think alot of people care if I did, to be honest." Some people cheer, obviously showing they care, while most of the arena boos the heck out of Darkfyre. "And I'm no more blind then Fast Eddie Vegas." The crowd buzzes, some people obviously not getting the reference while others laugh. Maxwell, on the other hand, doesn't look impressed, but Darkfyre goes on. "And another thing, have you seen Steve Twist lately? He's not looking too good. He's been getting his a** handed to him by Azure too much. And that Television Title match was ******** up to begin with. Wait...did you say HER? Your partner is a girl? Who is it? Twilight Tokyo Rose, Ravena, Hika Lai or is it your new girlfriend, KAT!"

Maxwell looks ready to pounce, but backs off and shakes his head, before garnering another cocky smile as he goes on. "Aww...thats just like you Darkfyre. Any mention of a girl sends you into fits....but as a matter of fact, you're right. My partner IS my girlfriend. But unlike Kat...she has actual talent. You know...the stuff that you guys obviously lack as well. You guys have yet to have a real challenge..." He smirks very confidently at Darkfyre, before leaning back in his turnbuckle and pointing back to himself. Eclipse leans forward and tries to grab the mic, but Darkfyre lifts it and begins to speak at that exact moment, which causes Eclipse to lean back again, boredly. "Just like me? I have my own fiance, but that isn't going to be discussed here, only for the simple fact that I don't mix my personal relations up in the ring, like amatuers like you do." The crowd jeers immensly, NOT happy at the fact that Darkfyre called Maxwell an amatuer. "And you say Kat doesn't have talent, but wouldn't you know. I could've sworn I saw her on her knees in the shower with you just the other day. I know I lack that, and I'm glad I do. I don't want to be like Kat and give head in the showers to a has-been."

Maxwell looks absolutely livid at this as the crowd is beginning to grow even louder in boos, but through them all, laughter can be heard. Maxwell looks out at this and eventually begins to speak, and his voice shows his anger and frustration. "Is this a joke to you kid? You expect your lacksadasical attitude to get you anywhere in this buisness? You always say you're going to be World Heavyweight Champion and as soon as you realize that saying whatever these people want to hear gets you NO where, you might actually have a succesful career. Talk is cheap Darkfyre." Maxwell leans back against the ropes, as Darkfyre looks down, seemingly comprehending what Maxwell has said before going on. "Maybe this is a joke to me, but lackadasical? It's that word a little too big for you to be using right now?" The fans have a mixed reaction at this dig, which causes Maxwell to look down and shake his head to himself, but Darkfyre goes on, knowing well that Maxwell is listening. "Aren't you a little mentally unstable right now? Maybe you shouldn't try to strain your brain. And I know I said all those things about being the next World Heavyweight Champion, but I decided to put that on hold until I feel like going after it again. I know I can get it if I just calmly wait. And another thing, who are you to talk about talk being cheap? Your talk has to be the cheapest I've ever heard. I mean, come on. The "Heartbreak Kid" who do you think you are? Shawn Michaels?" The fans give a big "OH!" at that comment, knowing Darkfyre went low with that one, but regardless, he goes on, with a smirk and swagger in his talk. "Not even close. And who ever said that my career wasn't successful? I know I didn't. Eclipse didn't. Brian Blade probably wouldn't, but he can't say much of anything anymore thanks to your zombie buddy, Voorhees."

Maxwell looks absolutely frustrated by this point at the fact that he allowed Darkfyre to get to him, but he goes on, with a voice that shows his frustration. "I said it before, and I'll say it again. Talk is cheap. To say I'm cheap, when I've done things you could never even dream of, shows your arrogance...and I am not unstable...it's just...these people. People like YOU all have it out for me. You're ALWAYS trying to screw Maxwell Conners over, and right now again, you're trying to screw with me. But you know what Darkfyre? I'm sick of talking." Maxwell turns around and puts one leg over the ropes and appears to be wanting to leave, the crowd booing him because of this, not wanting to see him go, but Darkfyre quickly makes his way over to Maxwell and grabs his arm, stopping him from leaving. The crowd has a mixed reaction to this as Maxwell climbs back into the ring and Darkfyre backs off a bit, sensing Maxwell is very close to losing it. Darkfyre and Maxwell have a staredown before Darkfyre breaks it with his talking. "Just wait a minute. I'm not done with you yet." Maxwell begins to talk some trash to Darkfyre without his mic, but Darkfyre goes on. "I've got some more choice words to say. As for my arrogance, what about yours? You've shown a lot of yours in the past, so you have no room to talk to me like that. And I'm not like every one of your little whores, trying to screw you. And there is nobody like me. And you know that. I'm not like everyone else, I'm better. You may think that I'm being cocky, arrogant and egotistical, but I'm not. I'm only stating a fact. But how about we make a deal for these titles...if you beat...Eclipse next week, you'll get your Title shot at Ragnarok."

Eclipse looks suprised by this, going up to Darkfyre and asking him what exactly he is thinking, but Darkfyre is ignoring Eclipse and keeping his eyes firmly on Maxwell, who takes a few steps forward towards Darkfyre, which causes Eclipse to back up a bit, since he obviously hasn't been involved with much. Maxwell gets eye to eye with Darkfyre before speaking. "It's called confidence when you can back it up kid." Maxwell gives Darkfyre a light slap on the face, which causes some cheers from the crowd, while provoking some jeers as well, but the slap doesn't faze Darkfyre, who keeps his eyes on Maxwell. "But if you're so confident in yourself, why don't YOU step in the ring with me next week on Madness?"

Darkfyre looks down, then looks back up and faces Maxwell right in the face, with a confident smile on his face. "Me? Step in this ring with YOU? I don't think so. I'm the backbone of Legacy of Destruction and I'm not putting my own career on the line over a title shot. Eclipse over there is just itching for a match, so why don't you try to not chicken out and face him next week instead?" Maxwell looks a bit frustrated by this, but shrugs it off and replies to Darkfyre's challenge, the crowd buzzing immensly as to what is happening before them. "You just signed the Legacy of Destruction's death warrant. You're on. And since we ARE making deals Mr. Darkfyre, how about in two weeks, once we have our title shot, how about me and you have a match...one on one. Maxwell Conners with his partner...vs. Darkfyre with Eclipse. What do you say?" Maxwell holds out his hand, wanting to shake Darkfyre's hand. Darkfyre looks all around the arena, wondering what he should do, but instead of waiting for an answer, he replies. "You know what...we'll leave that up to the match next week. If you win, we'll have that match. If you lose, then I get to have a match against your partner." Darkfyre holds his hand out and the two shake hands, Darkfyre looking extremely confident at this point, Maxwell just having an evil smirk on his face as he finishes. "Oh trust me Darkfyre. I'm going to win that match. And at Ragnarok, I'm going to prove to you that your arrogance is nothing but a handicap." Maxwell breaks the handshake and backs off, looking quite happy with how he negotiated a title shot, but before he can leave, Darkfyre says one last thing. "Fine. If you really want to think that, go ahead. I'm not going to stop you. I might see you two weeks, I hope you and your partner will be ready." Maxwell smirks at this as he climbs out the ring as "Symphony of Destruction" starts to play. He slowly begins to back up the rampway, pointing at the tag champs, who now seem to be arguing with one another, Eclipse obviously mad at the fact that he never got to talk.

Headhunter- "Well Maxwell is back, and it looks like he already is setting his sights on the gold."
The Voice- "Sure does Jim. So it's official, next week Madness, Maxwell Conners will have his return match with Eclipse. If Maxwell wins, he and his...partner will get a title shot at Ragnarok."

The camera shoots once more to the tag champs, arguing in the ring, and then to a very cocky Maxwell at the top of the entrance ramp before fading to commercial.
