He knelt by her bed, and watched her thrash and whimper. He knew she was having a nightmare, so he decided to sing a melody he remembered from his child-hood. ''When the night, seems to roll on for ever, and there is no moon to light your way...Everyone hurts you, and you will feel, all alone...But I am always there, I will always be with you, where-ever I am, I will help you...Because I will be that star you wished upon, I will be the moon to help you, I will be the dream that you have, but never remember...I will be there...''

Her feline ears flicked lightly and her whimpers ceased. She took in a deep breath and sighed in her sleep. Sayeh even smiled softly at the singing, and without knowing it, she rolled onto her side closest to Cassius and nuzzled the pillow. However, this was a big mistake as she woke up quickly eyes flashing and she sat up, panting, her hand holding over her head. "Ow.. I'm such an idiot.." She reminded herself before her violet eyes glanced over to see Cassius. She blinked lightly. "Sir Cassius..?" She had not remembered him coming in or even moving her as her head turned this way and that. "How did I get here?"

''Amnesia?'' He wondered silently when she asked how she got here. ''I moved you because you said you hurt too much.'' His crimson hues flicking over to the pie, he asked her quietly, ''Are you hungry, thirsty? I can go and get something I'm sure.'' The naga stood up to move and find Leena to ask about food or drink, but then paused and turned back.

Her eyes grew sad. "I.. have disappointed you with my weakness haven't I?" why else would he hurry away from her. She turned her face away. "I'm sorry Sir Cassius. Please, forgive me. I need nothing. See? I am fine." She tried to get up, to stand, but a sharp pain came through her head; an intense dizzy spell and she fell down to her knees. She made no noise beside a thud and frustrated growl at her own weakness. With long blue hair hiding away her face, she whispered again. "I'm sorry."

He shook his head. ''The only disappointment you cause me is your slave-like manner.'' Walking forward, he picked her up and placed her back on the bed. ''You surely must need something. I will go find Leena, and ask her for a nice, cold drink for you.'' The naga made sure she was comfortable before gliding out going to find Leena. He was sure she would be with Aussi, so he headed back the way that he followed before.

Hearing his words caused Sayeh to look up with a sorrowed expression. She was nothing more then a slave of a distant land. For him to dislike her slave-like manner was for him to dislike all she had been. As she was lifted and placed back on the bed, her violet eyes merely stared at him. She was silent, her red lips pressed shut. She only watched him as he left.

Leena was indeed with Aussi, having laid him down on the bed, and she was beside him, cleaning him up, some parts having already been wrapped in gauze. When the naga approached, she glanced over to him curiously. "Is there something you need Cassius?"

He noddedd slowly to Leena. ''Yes. I came to ask about a cold drink for Sayeh. She's woken up.'' He ignored the lizard on the bed, feeling a little angry again. The naga managed to suppress it though, and waited paitently for a reply about the drink from Leena.

"Some toilet water would b e fine enough for her." Aussi spoke before laughing.

Leena rolled her eyes. She then rose up from the bedside. "I'll be back for you later, Aussi." She then motioned for Cassius to follow her as she led him out of the room. "That gecko loves to start trouble." She smiled lightly though. "But he's really sweet when he wants to be." As they moved through hallways and passed rooms, she brought him into the kitchen. The girl looked this way and that inside of the frigerator before she finally found some iced tea. Pulling it out, she poured some in a glass, and handed it to Cassius. "If you head out, and turn right and walk forward, you'll come back to her room."

Sayeh had had enough of laying around. Slowly, she sat up, her hand coming to her head to hold her place and remind her where her bearings were as the room shifted around her. Her mind was sinking in both dizzyness, pain and one phrase: She was a disappointment to him. The words burned at her. However, the feline did not let it stop her. She actually used that burning pain to motivate her into moving.

She had to will herself to her feet and as she rose her head swung with the dizzy sensation and she stumbled over to a trunk. It was there she knelt down in an awkward fashion and pulled out her usual garb from within the container. She redressed herself quickly, although it was more sluggish then usual and threw her white outfit within the trunk again.

Her violet eyes stared blankly at whatever was before her as she rose to her feet and moved over to a wall to lean on, but turned and leaned her back against the wall, panting. Maybe if Cassius saw her standing, changed into her old clothing, he would be reassured that she was alright, though there wasn't much she could do to hide her sharp intakes of breath now and then. All she could do for that was to have her hair hang over her shoulders.

The naga gave a menancing, warning, snarl at the lizard. ''It's better than what you deserve you filth.'' He followed Leena, hissing with fury, before stopping and nodding his head. ''Alright, and thank-you Leena. I apologise.'' Cassius left the room, following the directions he had been given carefully, before coming to her door. He coughed quietly to let her know that he was there, before slowly pulling open the curtain and moving in. Seeing her, he shook his head.

The cough had caught her attention and Sayeh looked up to see Cassius had entered. She smiled sweetly to him. "Welcome back, Sir Cassius. I'm so sorry for all the trouble you've been caused. Would you like something to eat or drink?" Despite her offer, she dared not move from the wall to keep her balance.

''No. I am fine. You should be in your bed, resting.'' The naga moved forward warily, placing the drink next to her bed, before gripping her arm and pulling her gently towards her bed. ''I must leave now. I don't know when I'll come back, but I now that I'll see you. If you need me, or that filth tries to harm you, just send me a letter or something.'' He let go of her arm, and bowed slightly. ''Good-bye Sayeh. I'll see you soon I hope.'' With that, he turned around, and left the room.

When he moved her, Sayeh gasped as she stumbled with his movement. However, she followed him and came to sit on her bed, as she looked up with worried violet eyes. What happened? Something seemed different. Wrong. Although she was saddened, she made no movement to try and stop him. She only bowed her head, and whispered. "Goodbye, Sir Cassius."

Rp In Leena's Home

Aussi stood in the middle of the destroyed livingroom, with his fists clentched tightly. His eyes were hard and cruel as eh glared down at the floor. Already, Leena had sent out a message to Sayeh but she had not arrived soon enough. Things were broken and his long hair was messed about, some in his face. He was panting from his fit of anger.

Sayeh came into the room and gasped. "Sir Aussi! What.. happened here?" Her violet eyes were saddened. Slowly she came forward.

The leopard gecko didn't look at her as his body trembled. "You left.. against my word.. you left me.. here alone in this house.." His voice was low and angry. But there was a hint of sorrow lining it as well.

Sayeh looked at him with a face that was both confused but yet gentle. Slowly she came over and touched his arm. "Please, Sir Aussi, you're alright now, yes? You were never alone. You had Mistress Leena, and Lady Christmas, and"

"DON'T YOU GET IT!? THEY DON'T MEAN ANYTHING TO ME!" With a powerful turn, he snatched up her hand and glared at her from behind his glasses. "I wanted YOU here with me. YOU, Sayeh! And you just left me, here, alone! WHY! Why do you do this to me?! Did you go off to see that stupid naga again! HUH!?"

Sayeh looked at him with wide eyes and a shocked expression. "Sir Aussi.. " was her whisper and she slowly glanced to the floor. "No, I did not see Sir Cassius. I have disappointed him and therefore may not see him again until I can be better for him." She then looked up at him with violet eyes full of compassion. "But Sir Aussi, although your wish is for me to be with you, I cannot grant that."

Aussi stopped and looked at her with a hurt expression. "Why not? Why?"

Sayeh bowed her head. "Because, Sir Aussi, I must fulfill my first request. My own request. And I am sorry to say it does not mean I can stay with you."

Aussi bit his bottom lip. "Sayeh, please.. please tell me your request has nothing to do with that naga!" He dropped her hand and turned his head away. "PLEASE Sayeh, TELL me it has nothing to do with Cassius!"

Sayeh sighed. "Sir Aussi, my request does have to do with Sir Cassius. My reuqest that I have made my own choice is to try my best to bring him happiness, no matter what the cost."

"NO!" Aussi glared over at her. "Its not fair! Cassius will never care for you like I do!" He turned his head away and hurried off to his room.

Sayeh watched him run off and she bowed her head. "Please, forgive me Aussi, but whether or not Cassius cares at all, I just want to see him happy." The feline then began to move around the room, picking up shattered pieces.

Rp: Calanthia Meets Love Part 1
((Copied from IMs))
Rpness

Love was sitting in the orchard, out of the home and the tower for the first time since his last encounter with Aphrodite had scarred him so. He was on a bench, sitting quietly, trying to be unnoticed.
Calanthia was moving through the forest as she felt a presence. She wasn't too far from the orchard when she had felt this.. strange aura. And she was far from the type to ignore it. Slowly the bengal entered the orchard to see a winged man sitting on the bench by himself. Her violet eyes blinked, and her head cocked to a side. Why would he be alone? She walked over to him and looked at him in a slightly concerned fashion. "Are you okay?"
Love blinks and scoots back, startled, looking up at Cala. He finally whispers "I was just... sitting here in the garden, enjoying the sun... Not bothering anyone, am I?" His voice went worried.

Calanthia blinked and smiled to him kindly. "Of course not. How could you be? Are you okay though?" Her feline ears drooped lightly. "You seem.. down."

Love inched back. He was convinced it would be bad for him to make new friends. "I... just didn't want to bother anyone, I'm no one important, I don't need be worried about."

Calanthia seemed to sadden as she moved back from her. Concerned he was worried about her weapon, she untied it from her waist. "I won't hurt you, I promise. See? I'm putting it down okay?" She placed the sheathed weapon on the ground before him and came to sit on her legs in an oriental fashion infront of him. "My name is Calanthia but please, call me Cala. Did.. something happen to you?"

Love looked confused at her weapons business. "I never thought you would, gentle lady... I just...." At her question, he looked away. "I hurt some one by being who and what I am. I do not wish to do so again. I am isolating myself, to avoid it."

Calanthia looked at him and her ears drooped and fell backwards. "If.. you want to be alone.. I'll leave.. but.. I am sorry about what happened in the past. But I assure you you could never hurt me." She smiled lightly. "I don't care about past things."
Love sighs. "I can hurt people just by being myself... I have seen the evidence all too well.. I hurt by loving people, and they get hurt if they care back."
Calanthia smiled to him and closed her eyes. "I don't hurt, Sir, because I don't care. Whatever you do to me now, thats in the past. There's no use for me to dwell in the past and continue a pain that can't be changed. So you could never hurt me, Sir, because," Her eyes openned and her violet eyes were warm. "You aren't doing so this very moment. Nor this one and even if you tried for the next one, the one right after that you didn't do anything."
Love blinks slowly at her. Who didn't care about the past? It was a strange thing. "I... see..." He didn't know what to make of this.
Calanthia giggled and smiled up at the sky. "I know, I'm weird. I've been told by many others I've come to meet that I'm kind of unique with this belief. But I feel that if theres nothing that can be done about it, why worry? The past will always be what it is, so why should I worry about something that cannot be changed? I rather focus on here and now while there's still time to shape my future." She glanced back down at him. "Sorry, I'm rambling."
Love blinks. "But the past effects who you are and will be... It affects how you will react... How can you act so?"
Calanthia giggled and smiled to him. "But I am not my past. I am me, Cala, and I live here, in the present, not my past. As long as there is hope for my future, I rather work towards that then work backwards in my past. But, that's just me." She shrugged and smiled to him.
Love blinks a little. "But the past WILL effect how you think... it's... if it didn't, you'd never learn, and repeat mistakes..."
Calanthia looked at him curiously. "Why would I not take what I've learned and move on with my life? I feel I already have learned my lessons from my past and don't need to hold onto that anymore. So I let my past go and keep its lessons." She smiled at the ground in a gentle manner. "I think I've become a good person without my past haunting my footsteps. What do you think?" She glanced up at him. "Do you think I'm a good person?"
Love shrugs. "I cannot judge you, as I barely know you, Miss Cala, no offense." He sits back, and closes his eyes. He was unsure of all of this. Part of him wanted a new friend... part of him wanted to run.
Calanthia watched him with a smile on her lips. "None taken. But you never answered my question: Do you wish to be alone?"
Love shrugs. "I... don't know what I want..."
Cala continued her smile. "Well then, would you mind if I sit with you for a while? I haven't been here before and it seems pretty here."
Love nods slowly. "All right... that works..." He closes his eyes, and finally says "My name is Love."
"Love. What a very nice name you have. Nice to meet you." Calanthia smiled and stood up as she brushed off her dress and moved to sit beside him, RIGHT beside him as she smiled up at the trees, not noticing that they didn't even have an inch of space between them. Her tail swayed. "Its so peaceful here! These trees. They're lovely. What are they called?"
Love backs up, pressed tight to the tree. "It's an apple tree, Cala...." He was unnerved by how close she sat... In it's way it reminded him of Aphrodite, but more guiless.
"OH! I know these!" Calanthia jumped up. "Good timing since I am hungry and left my food behind." She smiled. "I'm going to get something to eat. Want me to drop some down for you too?" The feline was eager to get climbing as she slipped off her gloves and folded them beside her katana before moving over to the tree, her claws extending.
Love blinks. "No... I'm ok... I'm not hungry, I ate before I came outside..."
Calanthia's tail swayed behind her. "Aw not even one apple? They're tastyyy.." She giggled. She slipped off her shoes and began to climb up with a quickness known for her bengal blood. she sat on a branch and took a rippened apple, taking a bite. "Yum! Fresh! You sure you don't want one?'
Love shrugs. "I like apples but no, I am fine... I ate plenty before I left."
"You sure?"
"Positive, Miss Cala."
Calanthia giggled and jumped down, landing with a thud on her feet and hands on the ground,. apple in her mouth. She stood up, brushing her hands before she removed the fruit. "Now, now, none of that Miss stuff with me." She winked.
Love blinks slowly at her. "I... call everyone Miss or Misses, or sir...."
Calanthia laughed. "Oh, I am far from a Miss and even further from a Misses and I'm pretty sure I'm no Sir either." She spoke softly. "Cala is fine for me, Mr. Love."
Love blinks. "I'm not Mr... I'm just Love... But... Miss is... polite..." He was so confused by this cat woman.
Calanthia giggled and came over to him, poking his nose playfully. "If you are not a Mr. then I am not a Miss, okay?" Her violet eye winked to him once more before she moved back to give him space. She was very playful as she returned to sit down once more beside him. RIGHT beside him. "So, Love, what is your favorite color?"
Love pushes back, tight against the tree, a little uncomfortable with her closeness, and the contact. "I... ummm I love them all..." He finally says.
Calanthia looked at him curiously. "There must be one you like above the other colors?" She took a bite and now her violet eyes were focused on him completely.
Love shrugs slowly. "Never thought about it much. Depends on what I am thinking about, how I feell...."
Calanthia finished her apple and pulled out the seeds from the core, tossing them out onto the grass to grow. "Love, can I give you a hug?" She asked him curiously as she tossed the center of the apple to the ground to let it return to the earth.
Love blinks and finally, nervously nods. "All... right..."
Before Love could know what hit him, Cala lunged forward and hugged the anthro tightly, nuzzling him and purring. Her tail was waving happily.
Love froze. A HUG? this was more of... he didn't know WHAT to call it. He hugged her back as best her could, but felt awkward.
Calanthia purred as she nuzzled him and smiled up at him. "You looked like you needed a hug." An explanation. Not something she usually offered.
Love blinks and says "Ah.. I see..." He pats her between the ears, rather as he would a full cat, but was rather confused by her
This caused the girl to mew and smile brighter but she released him from the hug and stood up stretching. "Have you been in these lands long?"
Love ponders this and finally says "I... have lost count. Long enough to see children grow to adulthood..."
Cala looked at him in surprise. "Wow, you have been here almost too long!" She giggled and twirled around before she began to put back on her shoes. "Do you like this place?"
Love blinks slowly. "Too long? I am here as long as I am supposed to be... and I suppose I do."
Cala giggled. "Supposed to be? Do you have a mission here or something?" She then looked at him curiously. "Dont you choose to be here rather then anywhere else?" She began to slip back on her gloves. "I don't know what to make of this place yet. Its different."
Love blinks at her slowly. "Chose to be? Mission...? I am here because I am needed, because... my... creator... you might call her... is here."
Cala shook her head. "I don't understand what you mean, Love."
Love looks at her, then sighs, having to explain. "I am Love. It is my name, what I am, what I exist as."
Calanthia blinked and tilted her head. "Your name is Love, you ARE love, and you exist as Love?" She blinked. "So........ that means I just hugged Love?" she looked SO confused.
Love nods. "I am... I am an embodiment of emotions."
Calanthia blinked. "So I just hugged the emotion of Love?" Still looked utterly lost and she pouted. "Aww.. but I wanted us to be friends."
Love nods a little and blinks. "There is something wrong with being my friend... See? Even you think so."
"No, no you don't understand." She pouted with her ears drooped. "Me and the emotion Love don't get along very well so you must already hate me." She sniffled alittle.
Love blinks slowly. "No... I don't hate you, Cala..." He stares. "Not at all... I just... seem to hurt my friends, because I love EVERYONE."
"But I thought you said you ARE love and if you ARE love, that must mean you know what unrequietted love feels like and how many people I have turned away and therefore you must hate me." She sniffled again.
Love blinks at her. "I know all kinds of love... and unrequitted, while it hurts, is better to have then have the other lie and pretend..."
She sniffled again. "Thats what I think too but so many others would disagree with us and and you must hate me.." She was tearing up like a child would.
Love moves to her and hugs her. "No, no no no! I don't, not at all!"
She sniffled several times, "Really?" She pouted. "Promise?" She was so childish it was rediculous.
Love nods at this. "I promise, Cala. I don't hate you."
"Yay!" Calanthia hugged him tightly. "Then you can't be completely the embodiment of Love! That means you are your own person afterall!" She seemed so happy.
Love looks confused. "I don't see how that follows. I love everyone. I have only ever hated ONE person, and she... was evil.."
Calanthia looked up at him. "Who did you hate?"
Love paused, then finally said "A woman who wanted to kill a..." He paused, and the next word was pained "friend of mine."
Cala looked up at him and she could see the pain in his eyes. "Do you doubt you have such friendship with this person anymore?"
Love sighs. "It's a very long story..."
Calanthia shook her head. "And you don't have to share it with me if you don't wish to. But do you doubt that you have such a relationship with this person anymore?"
Love sighs. "Things that were said. I... do not wish to discuss it."
Calanthia looked away. "You have a funny way of not answering my questions, Love. I thought love is supposed to be honest." She then smiled to him and nuzzled him. "No matter. I think you're nice."
Love sighed and looks away. "Love is often blind to the truth."
Calanthia poked his nose. "Blind or not, you are still very nice. Don't you think that means you could have viewed things not as they were intented to be viewed though?"
Love blinks and wrinkles his nose. "I don't know..."
Cala giggled and nuzzled him. "You're so cute!" She then moved away from him to stare up at the trees. "Love, do you ever feel loneliness?"
Love blinks, then nods. "Who doesn't...?"
"Well I am trying to understand you a little more. You are the first embodied emotion anthro I've ever met! Are there more like you are?" She smiled.
Love nods, quietly. "Yes... there are... well several at my home, and others else where."
"How can you live with others. Are there others there who go against your emotion?"
Love looks at her, and finally says "What do you mean, how can I live with others? We live in a big house. The others... are different..."
"Doesn't it bother you when they are not like you?"
Love shrugs. "I love them, even so."
"Love, you confused me but thats okay." She smiled
Love shrugs again. "You confuse me some too."
Calanthia giggled and twirled. "I'm glad. For once, there's someone who feels just like I do."
Love blinks. "I... ok." He was so lost, this girl confused him so.
Calanthia then walked over to him and poked his arm. "Love, you seem like someone who likes to be around people. You should try your best to always be around others since I think you must be a good friend."
Love blinks and wriggles away from the poke. "I'm tired of hurting people."
"People will always get hurt with or without you around." Calanthia moved away from him and swayed to one side as her eyes closed. "With you, they are hurt they can never be your only one. Without you, they miss you so deeply it hurts them inside. So either way, you can't win that fight, Love. Wouldn't you rather them be happy just alone with your presense?"
Love sighs. "No one misses me, I suspect. I've not heard word of any of my old aquaintances asking for me."
Calanthia twirled around once more, her long red ponytail flowing around her form. "Maybe they miss you but are too upset to see you themselves. People can be funny like that sometimes."
Love shrugs. "If they wanted me, they can find me..."
Calanthia turned to face him. She had a smile on her face. "Are things really that simple when emotion is involved, Love?"
Love shrugs. "Nothing is simple in life."
Her violet eyes seemed to soften with their gaze. "Why? Why must life be so complicated? I never understood why people felt it must be so." She then giggled. "Then again I never understand that kind of stuff."
Love shrugs. "I know not. It's just how it is..."
"I never see my life as complicated. Then again, I'm weird, remember?" Her violet eye winked to him playfully. She then moved to sit down on the bench once more, swinging her feet playfully. "I must imagine your friend misses you terribly and feels bad about how things were left."
Love shrugs, as he watches her. "I don't know. She said I'd never see her again."
"You probably said something to hurt her feelings. She sounds like she cared quite a bit for you." She shrugged and smiled up at the sky. "It must be nice to know you are cared for."
"She loved me. And another." He looked away. "I could not be what she wanted."
"Did she not just want you then if she loved you?" Her violet eyes watched a cloud drift by.
Love sighed. "It is a complicated situation..."
Calanthia smiled to him. "Do not worry so much since she has been keeping her distance. Things like that shouldn't worry you if they are over unless they mean something."
Love shrugs and looks away.
Calanthia stood up and walked to stand infront of him. She knelt down and stared up at him with violet eyes. "Love your heart is so burdened. I'm sorry I pulled up hard topics for you."
Love sighs. "I will survive, Cala."
Calanthia smiled and placed her hand on his. "If I was worried about your survival, I would be much more concerned. No, I am certain this is just a rough time. But, please, Love, I really am sorry." Her hand moved away. "If you ever want someone to just listen to you, I'll be around okay?"
Love vlinks a little. "I... thank you, Cala."
Calanthia smiled and rose up to stand completely. "Love, what do you like to do most?"
Love blinks at her, and thinks, then finally says "Bake..?"
"OH! What kind of things do you like to bake, Love?" She smiled.
Love smiles. "Oh just like cookies and stuff."
Calanthia blinked and moved in close. She then smiled. "Would you bake some for me? Some cookies?"
Love blinks and nods. "Sure?"
The bengal giggled and moved far from him. "Thankies Love!" She twirled around light on her feet.
Love stands and heads towards the tower, nodding at her to follow
Calanthia blinked and followed after him, and when she caught up, she hugged his arm tightly and smiled up at him.
Love blinks and smiles at her, then heads for the kitchens.
She never missed a beat and kept in toe with him. "I've never had homemade cookies before."
"You... haven't?" He blinked and sped up. "Wellt hen!"
"Eekk!" She moved faster to keep up with the pace and smiled brightly. "You must really enjoy baking."
Love blinks. "yes and never to have home made cookies is a TRAGEDY."
Calanthia smiled. "Well the thing is I'm on the move so often, its hard for me to get anything baked."
Love blinks and nods. "Ahh ok." He gets inside, and nods at a seat.
The bengal sadly releases his arm and takes the seat. Her tail waved and she seemed alert, watching him curiously. "I've never seen cookies baked like this before."
He smiles and gets to work, pulling ingredients and utensils out.
"So what goes into cookies exactly?"
"Flour and suger and butter and eggs and salt and other things, depending on the kind."
"How long have you been baking for?"
"Oh I don't know, ages."
"Ages? You always make yourself sound like you're so old."
Love shrugs. "I've seen two sets of children grow, and a third is working their way up."
"So? You still shouldn't give me hints to your age." Her eye winked."Its not flattering for you at all."
Love shrugs. "Emotions are ageless." He begins to mix things up.
She watched him intensely. "Is there a certain way to add things together, like an order?"
"Oh yeah. One should always find recipes, first few times around." He begins to beat things.
"What rescipe do you follow, Love?"
"The one I invented. I used several and mixed the best ones together til I found the way I liked em."
Calanthia smiled. "That is very nice that you are able to do such things."

Love smiles and begins to grease a cookie sheet, then puts the dough on them, and pops it into the oven
"Now how long does it take from this point?"
Love blinks. "Mmmm 35 minutes to an hour... depends on how it bakes, then youy have to let em cool some."
Calanthia sighed. "So there must be some patience involved with this baking process."
Love nods quietly. "Yes, or it all gets messed up."
Cala glanced at him curiously. "What do you do while you wait then?"
Love blinks. "Depends. Some times I read, sometimes I listen to music, sometimes I practice fencing... sometimes I talk to some one..."
Calanthia smiled. "So where did you live before this place?"
Love ponders and finally says "Through a door..." He doesn't know how else to explain it.
"A door?"
"Yes... it leads to where I live which is sort of... not here."
"What was your previous home like?"
"Ummm... I don't recall..."
Her eyes looked at him without a single blink. She obviously doubted that
Love blinks, confused.
"You.. really forget your own home?"
Love blinks. "I wasn't... physical... before..."
"I still don't understand but," She shrugged. "So what is your home like? Sounds like a crazy place to live."
Love shrugs. "Busy. LOTS of of there. LOTS."

*MISSING THIS PART*

"If they can't accept the rules of engagement with you, then they can't be with you. Simply put yes? Since you can't love fully, does that mean you are an incomplete emotion, Love?" The bengal's words weren't mean or cruel. More like questioning and curious and trying to understand.
Love sighs slowly. "No... I am a full emotion. I am... Love. Purely, simpley. I love EVERYONE. Equally... Even the one I hate."
"So does that mean you love even me although you don't know me?"
He nods calmly.
Calanthia looked at him and pouted. "I'm sorry, dear Love, but I do not love you back. Though I find you to be cute." She winked to him playfully.
Love laughs softly. "I do not need you to love me, I am fine."
Calanthia stood up and walked over, she still seemed a little sad, but instead, she hugged him tightly, and nuzzled him. "You're so nice. Don't you think you deserve love back?" Her violet eyes stared up at him curiously.
Love shrugs and hugs her back. "Don't you see...? That's the problem! When I am loved back, they want... more of me... then I can give!"
"So what if you can't solely be theirs or anyones? If they love you, truly love you, just being near you should be enough for them. They should appreciate that you love them at all. Though not going to bed with them might sting them alittle on their egos." She giggled and kissed his cheek before she moved away from him. She wandered over to the oven and sniffed at the air. Were the cookies nearly ready?
He sighed, quietly. "It hurts them, to know my heart is so divided... I've seen it too well..." He glances at the timer, and noted another five minutes on it.
Calanthia came back and twirled. "That is their choice to let it hurt them, Love. They know who you are. If they really love you, they should accept your faults as well as your gifts. Don't you think?" She glanced over with a smile.
Love sighed, as he moves to get a trivet to put the hot pan on. "I... hate... seeing people in pain..."
Calanthia walked up behind him and peeked over his shoulder. "You cannot stop how people want to live. If they choose to feel that pain, its what they want." She came to rest her head against his shoulder. "You worry far too much for your own good."
Love sighs again. "I... am what I am..."
"Love," She looked up at him with a sad but curious look. "Can you be your own person?"
Love blinks at her, then shakes his head.
A smile came to her lips, and she moved to stand infront of him. Her long gloved hand came to rest on his chest. "This body is your own, is it not?" She was now staring into his eyes, her own violet hues watching.
Love blinks quietly, and then says "For as long as I am needed, it is the body I reside in... but I am... created... of the emotions of one who needed me, to support her against her... other..."
Calanthia's short gloved hand came to rest her finger on his lips. "Hush. Purpose or none, this is your body and your life. Just because you know why you're here, doesn't mean its not your own, correct?" She moved her finger away from his lips and the bengal female was smiling. Her voice was warm.
Love looked blankly at her. "I do not understand... I... if I do not do what I am here to do, how could the one I exist from continue? If she died... so would I..."
Cala looked at him with a smile. "Silly Love. You are not her. You are here to support her but who is here to support you?" She came to rest her long-gloved hand on his face. "It is not her here before me, but you. Do you not feel my touch?"
Love blinks at her. "Yes... but... I don't understand you.." He moves, as the timer beeps, to get the cookies out.
Calanthia waited for him to move the cookies from the oven and to set them aside. "Do you really wish to understand me?"
Love sets them down. "Yes... but... What do you mean?"
Calanthia came over to him and held out her hand to him. "Will you show me where the bathroom is?" It seemed random but there was a purpose.
Love blinks, then takes her hand, and leads her there, and stops outside it.
Calanthia only gripped his hand tightly and dragged him inside to the mirror. She positioned him infront of it and she smiled as she stood to the side of him. "What do you see?"
Love stares, and finally says "I see me... so?"
"Did you hear what you just said?" She came close to his ear. "That is you there. You. Only you. Even though you have a mission and a purpose here in this life, you have a future as well. Sure you don't know what will happen or when it will end. But your whole life isn't just your mission. You have the ability to live as anyone else does because you now have your own soul to occupy that body as well." Her arms came to wrap around him.
Love blinks, so confused. It was like when Obsession had tried to convince him maybe he could love one person above the others.
Calanthia smiled at his expression. "You still don't understand?" She kissed his cheek. "You are more then Love. You are alive."
Love shrugs slowly. "I am alive, but... I do not know that I am more then love... even when I wanted to hate some one, solely... I still loved her while hating her."
"You were able to hate though, right?"
Love nods. "But I still love her too."
"Doesn't matter if there was still love. You were able to hate. That is living." Her hand came up to brush at his bangs. "You can do more too then just hate. You can live more life if you choose to."
Love sighs. "But I can't get passed the love! I wanted to JUST hate her for what she did!"
"You can't have everything you want, Sweety." The bengal slipped away from him. "You will always feel a sense of endearment because of your mission in life. But you are able to be more as well."
Love looks away. "If I can't break free, how can I be more...?"
Calanthia looked at him and she came back to him, her hand reaching up to his chin to gently turn it back to her, her violet eyes staring up at him. "If you wish to be free, be free, dear Love. Tell that to the person who created you. If they love you, I am sure they can find a way to free you. Or you could always free yourself. But you can have a mission and have a life at the same time."
Love blinks. "No... I don't think she can free me.... I think it would end me... I am an embodiement of her emotions, to be detached from her... would be to end what I AM." He shrugs and sighs.
"Love.. promise not to hate me okay? I swear this has a purpose." Without a single warning, she kissed his lips sweetly, her eyes closed. It was fast and she pulled away her eyes openned to look up at him and monitor his reaction.
Love jerked, startled. "I... don't hate you, but why did you do that?"
Calanthia giggled when he jerked and looked so surprised. "I did it to prove a point. You aren't just love because I was able to shock you. Love is always prepared. See? You can be more then who you are when you don't think about it."
"Since when is Love always prepared? Love is OFTEN startled, because things didn't go the way it wanted..."
Calanthia giggled some more. "And see you are still upset by it. That isn't love, that is life."
"I'm not upset, I'm confused!" He stared, blankly.
Calanthia giggled some more and shook her head. "You're too much, Love." She was amused but she only winked to him with a smile. "I won't do that again then since you hated it so much. But really, you gotta learn to seperate what is Life and what is your Mission."
Love blinks. "I didn't hate it! I'm confused!" He was frowning now, as she was completely misinterpreting his reactions.
Calanthia couldn't help but to giggle and she took a step closer. "Oh really? You didn't hate it huh? Maybe I should do it again until you're collapsed from confusion?" But she couldn't keep up with the joke and she was now laughing.
Love blinks, even more confused, and finally says "I think the cookies are ready."
Calanthia laughed and without a single thought, she clung to his arm. "So Love knows how to bake. Does that mean if I ever fall in love, I'll know how to bake too?"
Love blinks slowly. "No... I just do because Aria does... and loves to do it."
"Aww and here I was hoping to be able to bake too." She pouted and smiled up at him. "I bet you can do things Aria doesn't love to do."
Love laughs. "You can always learn to bake! And I've never tried."
Calanthia was about to open her mouth and let her mind go STRAIGHT to the gutter but instead she stopped herself and giggled. "You're so cute!" She nuzzled him. "I bet you're innocent too." She then looked at him. "I'm not that good of a learner."
Love blinks at this, slowly. "Innocent? I... doubt it..."
Calanthia looked up at him surprised. "You must be innocent!"
Love arches a brow. "Love is rarely innocent."
Calanthia giggles. "I don't think you understand what I mean when I say innocent. I mean, you must not be familiar with going to bed with people." She didn't want to be blunt with him as he was cute.
Love blinks slowly. "No.. no, I know plenty about it... I live in a home with Lust, after all."
Calanthia looked at him curiously with a devious smirk. "But you've never gone to bed yourself with someone before have you?" She was expecting a no.
Love laughs slowly. "Actually, yes, I have."

This caused Calanthia to release him as her jaw dropped. "ARE YOU KIDDING ME?"

Love arches a brow. "No."
"BUT BUT BUT YOU'RE SO... so..." She looked stunned as she just stared at him unable to move.
Love watches her, and steps into the kitchen, and puts cookies on plates, while he waits for her.
She didn't even move. It was HARD for anyone to surprise Calanthia let alone SHOCK her like that.
He looks out the door. "You ok...?"
Her eyes were merely wide. She didn't even twitch. No blinking. Nothing.
He blinks, and moves to her, then gently shakes her shoulder.
Calanthia looked up at him and she suddenly just laughed. "That.. was NOT something I was expecting!"
Love blinks, and then steps into the kitchen. "Cookies?"
Calanthia followed after him. "Are you SURE you've slept with someone before?" She seemed still in disbelief in such a manner she didn't even hear his question.
Love nods, and arches a brow. "It's that thing, in the bed, with the nudity, and the physical joining, last I checked?"
Calanthia laughed and shook her head. "Love you are so strange to me!"
Love blinks, and waves at the cookies.
The bengal moved over to the cookies and sniffed at them. "Think they're cooled?" She then looked at him curiously her eyes were now lit and devious. "So were you with a man or a woman?" She was not about to let him get away without questions.
Love blinks and nods at the cookies part. "Now then... That's my business."
Calanthia pouts. "Aww, Love! Thats mean of you! I would answer any question you asked me about my past partners!" She reached out and grabbed a cookie, sniffing at it first.
Love shrugs. "But... I wouldn't ask..."
Calanthia laughed. "No one does." She took a bite and smiled. "Yum!"
Love shrugs. "It's not normally something you ask some one."
She sighed and her eyes grew sad. "Calling me weird?"
Love shrugs. "Never met some one who isn't."
The bengal turned away from him and she moved away from Love, coming to sit by herself at a table. "You all here are strange to me. You don't mind being friendly but always keep such a distance that this place is rather cold to me. Even you have treated me this way," She took another bite.
Love blinks and sits on a counter. "Mmm... If I let people to close, some one ends up hurt."
Calanthia could feel herself becoming upset. "I already told you though you can't hurt me like you hurt other people because I'm not like them. And still you pushed me away. Just like everyone else.." She sighed.
Love blinks and sighs. "I can't help it!"
"You can too!" She glared over her shoulder at him. "Its a CHOICE Love to push me away, knowing FULL well I don't care like that about you. But just because I don't love you doesn't mean I won't take offense when you treat me like a stranger."
Love blinks slowly. "I don't mean that! I..." He turns away, and buries his face in his hands.
"You WHAT Love! What! Finish your sentence, please!"
Love is silent, shaking, not moving beyond that.
Calanthia sighed, taking in a deep breath to calm herself down. Slowly she stood up and walked over to where he sat, her arms wrapping around him in an embrace. "Love, please. Finish what you were going to say?" Her voice was low and soothing.
Love was softly sobbing, and shaking. "No... no no..."
Calanthia pulled him in closely and whispered in his ear quietly. "Love, I am here.. its alright. I'm here and I'm listening." Her hand caressed his back as she rested her head against his. Her long red hair ponytail was cascading like a crimson waterfall.
Love turns, and sobs into her shoulder, unable to speak.
"Shh, shh, Sweety, its alright. Go ahead and cry. I am staying right here for as long as you need me to be." Calanthia held him close and let him cry, her violet eyes closed as she did as she promised. She remained there, holding him, comforting him with her one hand rubbing up and down his back to soothe him.
Love basically collapses against her, the bitter weight of the pain he felt over the Dite incident just pouring out of him.
Even though Calanthia was not the strongest anthro by far, she was able to still keep her balance, and hold onto him, letting him cry and not minding that her furr and her shoulder's covering were getting wet from his tears. Her hand pet his long silver hair as his emotions were finally freed.
He slowly pulls his head up, after who knows how long, and whispers "Sorry..."
Calanthia whispered back. "Don't be, dearest Love. You must have been hurt deeply, and crying is the first step of healing." She nuzzled him softly.
Love sighs slowly. "But I hurt her first..."
Calanthia began to wipe his cheek. "Not on purpose it would seem. It was accidental and its okay. You are sorry for it and thats all that matters." She kissed the top of his head. "You are a good anthro, Love."
Love sighs slowly. "But I don't want to hurt anyone again."
"You will always end up hurting someone or another. It can't be helped. But whats important is that you don't try and you do your best. Thats what counts." The bengal gave him a smile. "And I know if anyone can try, its you, Love."
Love looks down, his face blank.
Her hand moved under his chin. "Hey, now. Come on, dear Love, we can't have this." She rested her forehead against his. "Love, you've suffered enough. Now its time to heal, okay?" Her violet eyes were soft with their gaze.
Love sighs. "I... don't know I deserve to heal."
Calanthia kissed his nose affectionately and her eyes watched him. "You know how you know when you have earned the right to heal?" Her hands moved to cup his face, fingers brushing over the trails of where his tears fallen. "When you have experienced this. True sorrow."
Love looks at her. "I... Mmm... I guess..."
Calanthia smiled to him and purred. She hugged him tightly. She said nothing as she hugged him and nuzzled his neck affectionately. She then looked at him. "I'm going to get you a glass of milk." She slowly slipped her arms away from him and turned to grab a glass as she had promised of the white liquid.
Love blinks and sits on a seat, carefully. He was confused, and still sad.
Calanthia walked back with the glass of milk and handed to him with a smile. "There you go. Now drink up the whole thing okay?" It was only halfway full but Cala knew that a good way to chase away sorrow was with something to drink.
Love sips it slowly, blinking at her, and eats a cookie for good measure
Cala sighed and slowly removed her gloves. "We should keep up your face too." Her delicate hands underneath folded up the gloves as she left them on the table nearby. She turned and walked over to the sink to grab a cloth and she dampened one end. She came back to him and smiled softly. "Feeling any better?"
Love blinks, confused. He'd never been... babied... like this. "Yeah, i gues..."
Calanthia carefully climbed onto his lap, straddling him as she faced him. "Now let me see that handsome face of yours."
Love froze completely, and let her, but was a little stunned.
Her fingers slipped away his glasses and she smiled as she carefully washed over his face with the dampened end. The dry end she carefully brushed against his skin and she sighed with relief. "There, thats the Love I met." Her fingers moved up to brush his bangs a bit and she slipped back on his glasses. Her violet eyes watched him curiously, alittle confused at why he was so still. "Love? Are you okay?"
Love looks up at her. "You're... on my lap..." He said, in a slightly strangled tone.
Calanthia blinked at him curiously. "So? Does this bother you?" The bengal seemed completely unfamiliar with this kind of reaction. "I can move if you wish. I just needed to get this close to make sure I took care of your face that's all."
Love nods. "Please.. unless you're looking for more excitement thaan I think you want..."
Calanthia giggled and smiled to him, her arms now coming to drape around his neck. "If that is all it would take to make you happy again, I don't mind at all. I think it is you does not want that kind of thing from me." Her violet eye winked to him playfully. "So for your sake, I'll move." Her arms slipped away from him once more as her hands rested on his thighs, and she pushed her body off of him in a gymnastic-like fashion. She would come to stand before him with a smile.
Love closed his eyes, and begins to breath in and out, then says "It's more that it's been awhile... and I am not ready for that with any I know at this time."
Calanthia leaned over his lap drawing her face close to his, her eyes staring up to those closed ones. "That is your choice, Love, and I respect your decision." She kissed his nose affectionately. "And I also respect if at any time you change your mind as well."
Love blinks slowly, and nods. "I prefer to wait, to know some one for a time first."
Calanthia smiled to him and nodded. "There is only one rule and one thing only: No strings attached, okay?" She kissed his forehead before she stood up straight and looked at the cookies. "Would you be willing to write down this rescipe for me to try out on my own?"
Love nods, blinking, then nods again. "Of course, Cala."
Calanthia smiled brightly. "YAY! Thank you Love! Let me go get a pen and paper for you!" She hurried off to look for said items. Even though she had been so warm to him she now was switched off and had the excitement of a child.
Love smiles and laughs, amused.
Calanthia came back and offered him the pen and the paper and came to sit on the ground infront of him, like a model student would, her violet eyes watching him with excitement.
Love, amused, began to write. It took about 10 minutes, with a lot of pausing as he thought.
Calanthia's tail twitched as she waited quietly. However, she seemed to grow dull as her eyelids were starting to fall. Her breathing was growing shallow and her smile was fading.
He finishes up, and looks up, and blinks. "Are you ok?"
Calanthia smiled but now she was using her arms to keep her body from the floor. "I'm fine, Love, just a little.. tired.." She had been up so early and had no meat in her system. She had the apple but it was barely enough.
Love offers her the cookies, as they were high in sugars. "Are you sure?"
Cala just smiled but her eyelids fell closed and she allowed her body to slip to the floor, curling up. "I'm.. sure.. just.. tired.." So much running around for the bengal had left her not taking very good care of herself.
Love's eyes widen, then he leans and picks her up, stronger then he looks, and carries her to a bedroom, then lays her on a bed.
Calanthia looked up, exhaustedly at him as he had carried her and when she felt a bed underneath her, the bengal sighed. "I'm.. sorry.. I haven't been sleeping so well.." She left out the part about eating. She moved to sit up. "I left my gloves.." She went to get up from the bed, but her movements were so sluggish as she had been worn out much more then she had expected
"Stay there.. I'll bring you everything, Cala." He tucks her in, then goes back. He collects the pen, the paper, the recipe, her things, and the cookies, and brings them back to her.
When Love came back, Cala's eyes had grown glassy in appearance. She looked up at him. "Love?" Under the covers, Calanthia could look so much like a child.
Love looked down at her. "Yes, Cala?" He sets her things down, and checks her for a fever, just to be SURE
Calanthia was slightly warm but nothing more. Her hand reached up to touch his and she looked up at him in a pleading manner. "Will you lay with me?"
Love blinks slowly, and sits down. "I... um... all right?"
Calanthia held out her arms, like a child who was begging for a hug. It was obvious that from the look in her eyes, she was far too weak right now to try anything with him. She just desired to not feel alone with such weariness
Love lays down, and holds her, comfortingly, and smiles. "Rest, Cala."
Calanthia nuzzled him. "But, Love, if I rest, you will be so bored.. I'm sorry.." her voice was getting softer but her arms hugged him tightly. Even if she didn't want to, her body was demanding sleep.
"I'll be fine... sleep, Cala." He stroked her back, relaxingly.
Calanthia slowly drifted to sleep and without realizing it, she whispered quietly. "I'm sorry.. I just don't.. want to be alone.. right now..." And off she was in deep slumber, where her grip to him never faded away.
Love nods and smiles a little, and lays with her as she sleeps.

Rp: Calanthia Meets Love Part 2
((Copied from IMs))
Rpness

Her sleep was light and she was out of it for two solid hours before she came back to conciousness. Slowly her eyes opened. Where was she?
Love was meditating quietly besides her at this point, lost in thought.
Calanthia took in a deep breath, and nuzzled his chest. She felt a lot better then before and her hand caressed over his stomach. However, she was being good from that point on.
Love 'wakes' and jumps, startled. "Bwah?"
Calanthia looked up at him when he jumped her violet eyes seemed in a daze. "Love.." She spoke quietly. She kissed his cheek and purred lightly.
Love blinks at her. "Yes Cala...?" Hewatched her.
"Did you stay with me this whole time..?" She nuzzled him and stared up with a loving gaze. Her hand was brushing over his chest now.
He nods, blinking, and inching back a little.
When he inched, Calanthia just moved in closer. "Love.." From her expression it was apparent she was not herself.
Love slides off the bed, quickly, standing. "Cala.... I do not know what has gotten into you... but... I am not one to play so soon."
Calanthia began to crawl, her violet eyes hazed over, her voice not changing. "Love.. you.. don't like me? Am I not pretty enough for you?" She was getting closer and closer towards teh edge.
Love blinks slowly. "You're lovely, Cala... really... but I'm not... wanting to... til I know you better..." He was confused, the woman had changed completely!
Calanthia moved towards him, her hand stretched out but she had moved too far, and fell right off the edge, slamming on the ground.
Love inched back, and then moved to the other side of the bed. Normally, he'd check on how she was, but right now... he was too unnerved.
Her tail was limp and she didn't move. She was completely asleep once again. It seemed Calanthia could be dangerous to those around her when she was half awake.
He moved back, and CAREFULLY put her back in the bed, but sits carefully out of her range.
Calanthia was out for another two hours and now she was awakening once more. This time she rubbed her eyes and yawned.
Love was watching her carefully, his eyes quiet, out of touch range.
Calanthia blinked and sat up. "Love?" She glanced around. "Where am I?"
Love looks at her suspiciously. "In a bed in the tower..."
Her violet eyes blinked. She moved to sit next to him. "Are you okay, Love?"
Love moves a little back. "Are you... going to try to seduce me again...?"
Her violet eyes blinked and she looked at him confused. "What are you talking about?"
Love stares at her. "You... woke up... after two hours or so... got... VERY friendly... and seemed a little upset when I backed away... stuff about 'Am I not pretty enough?' and the like... Til you fell off the bed and back asleep..."
Calanthia just stared at him. She only blinked. "Are you sure about that? Because I only remember falling asleep here. Thats it."
Love nods, very certain. "Oh very much so!"
Her bengal ears drooped a little. "Sorry about that. I honestly don't remember doing anything like that. I do respect your decision." Her violet eyes looked sad.
Love nods. "Maybe because you were half awake..."
Cala moved away from him and slipped off the other side of the bed. "I'm really sorry, Love."
Love smiles. "It's ok... you seem calm now..."
She turned to look over her shoulder at him with a sorrowed expression. "I'm sorry Love. I really wouldn't do anything like that knowing your decision." It appeared to really bother her as she turned her face away.
Love moves over to her, then hugs her. "It was a mistake... You were sleepy..."
She looked up at him, her ears fell backwards. "I really wouldn't do that I promise you. I really don't remember doing anything like that." She pouted.
Love frowns a little, and steps back. "Are you suggesting I am lying, then, or I hallucinated?"
Her violet eyes looked up at him. "No I believe you I just can't believe ME." She bowed her head. "Awake or not, that was wrong of me, and I'm really sorry."
Love relaxes and sighs. "Well it's over... I accept the apology."
Calanthia smiled to him but it seemed like she was shaken a little as she turned to get her gloves back on. "I'm going to be making some chicken. Would you like some?" She smiled in a small manner for her.
Love nods, but watches her, concerned.
The bengal took the rescipe he had written and folded it up, slipping it into her chest, the only compartment she had on her entire outfit. She glanced over at him and smiled in a small way again. "Would you mind leading the way back to the kitchen? I don't remember how we got here."
Love nods, and leads her back, heading calmly for the kitchen.
Cala followed after him, walking right behind him with her hands clasped behind her. Her ears remained folded back. Even though she could always leave the past behind her, she was bothered that she had no memory of doing such things. Whats worse is she dreaded what would have happened if she had not fallen off the bed.
He steps in, and sits down, letting her have at
Left to her own devices, Calanthia immediately headed towards the freezer, taking out a chicken that had been defeathered and the head cut off. Gizirts still remained but that was okay. She moved to the counter, removing her gloves once more as she gathered up spices and cooking instruments. The whole time she worked in silence as she was in thought.
He relaxed, watching her, silently, concerned
Calanthia moved with amazing speed and deligence as she was now seasoning but stopped a moment and glanced his way. "Are you allergic to anything? And do you like spicy things?"
Love ponders her questions. "Not that I know of, and sometimes, yes."
Calanthia smiled meekly to him and nodded before she twirled, her back facing him as she worked on the chicken with spices and soon it was in the oven. She was washing her hands and her violet eyes glanced sideways at him, almost as if she was afraid to look at him. "Would you like anykind of side dish with your chicken?"
He considers this. "Perhaps something with potatoes?"
Violet gaze looked away from him. "How about some garlic mashed potatoes?"
"Sounds DELIGHTFUL, Cala!"
Calanthia smiled to him but never looked back at him as she dried her hands. She moved to the area that would have veggies, pulling out several mashed potatoes and cloves of garlic. She went to work boiling the potatoes after cleaning them. As they cooked, she crushed the cloves of garlic and worked in silence.
He smiled, and goes to get some beverages. "Do you drink wine?"
Calanthia nodded but remained in her quietness as she worked. Finally, she openned the oven, and with an ovenmit on, turned the pan around, shutting the door once more. The potatoes were ready and she drained out the hot starchy water before she lifted up the potates, slicing them, then placing the slices into a bowl where she began to mash. It was there she added butter, TINY crushed garlic.
He pulls out a good white wine that would match any chicken, and some glasses, then a bucket and ice, to chill the wine quickly.
Finally, after mixing and such, warm buttery and salted mashed potatoes with slices of the skins and bits of garlic was set down on the table. Her body moved to grab plates and she set the table as well before turning back to the chicken to pull it out of the oven with care. She found a large serving plate and placed it carefully with lettuce garnishings. She set it down on the table.
Love sets the wine glasses down carefully, and sits, smiling at her.
Calanthia smiled back but she did not once look at him as she pulled out carving fork and knife. "Would you like the honor of carving this bird or would you like for me to do that for you?"
"I've never carved a bird, so perhaps you could?"
She nodded, and began first by slicing off the legs and the wings. "Would you care for either of these pieces?"
"Mmm no I prefer breast meat, but thank you, Cala!"
A smile was flashed but she moved in silence as she sliced into the breast of the chicken, cutting large slices of the meat. A crisp skin crunched as it was coated in a salty spice that had a faint hint of seasoning that wasn't hot. She placed several of these pieces on his plate, still avoiding to stare at him directly. She kept adding and adding as if she wasn't even paying attention.
"Ummm... thank you! That's plenty, Cala!" He said just before it was too much. He frowned. "Cala... You're upset."
When he had said something, the bengal nearly jumped back. "Oh! Sorry." She stepped back and shook her head. "I'm not upset. Just a little in thought thats all." She tried to smile it but was obviously forced as she moved a wing and a leg to her own plate. She set down the utensils with the chicken and fetched a spoon for the potatoes. "Just say when." She began to scoop them out for him onto his plate.
He nods when there is plenty, and studies her silent.
She stopped and, after scooping out some to her own plate, came to set the spoon in the potatoes. Calanthia seated herself down. "I hope everything is to your liking." She still would not look at him.
"Yes, but something is bothering you, Cala... I can tell... It's the whole not looking at me thing..."
She blushed lightly and bowed her head. "I am just embarrased that is all." Her cheeks had flushed.
"It's over and done with, Cala... Don't be. I've dealt with worse in the end. I just had been confused, having it come from you."
Calanthia took in a deep breath and sighed. "I've never behaved like that before to my memory and it bothers me because I am not sure what caused it so I don't know what I can do to prevent that from happening again."
Love considers this, silently, for a moment. "I don't know. But if it occured again, I'd be ready for it."
Calanthia stared at her plate and lifted up a fork to twirl her mashed potatoes with. "I don't want it happen again and thats what is bothering me. Theres no way for me to pevent it that I don't know what caused it."
Love listens. "Well, I don't know what to suggest, Cala..."
Calanthia shook her head and she smiled but her eyes remained closed. "Listen to me, I'm not quite myself. Anyway, please enjoy this dinner." She began to dig into her potatoes, and eating, with a smile on her face.
Love eats, but watches her, worried about his new friend.
She managed to eat the potatoes like that but when her eyes openned to cut her chicken, they were glassy with worry and sorrow. Something she was obviously trying to fight and hide.
Love sighs and says "Cala. Please... There is more, I see it in your face."
She cut a piece of her chicken and brought it to her mouth and she closed her eyes once more, smiling to him. "Love I will be fine. There is no need for worry. I'm just lost in my own thoughts and questions that is all. Please try the chicken and let me know if it is to your liking."
Love taps his fingers, then cuts a piece off, and considers it, slowly. "I'm more concerned about you, then hunger. You wouldn't be put off earlier on things... I think it's time to turn it about."
Her eyes were staring at her plate with that look in her eyes. She smiled amused. This was true. "I am just wondering if I should stay in these lands any longer. I'm not really fitting in around here and I'm not sure if anyone would care if I left. Infact I've made quite afew people unhappy here, disrupting their lives."
"Don't leave, Cala... You're my first new friend in some time... I'd care..."
"But then I can't trust myself to sleep near you anymore." She glanced up at him. "I don't want that to happen again and the only time it would happen is if I slept."
"Then we would not sleep in the same room. We would still be friends, Cala."
Calanthia sighed and nodded a little. "I guess." She stared at her plate for a long time before she took a bite of her chicken once more. "I'm just.. really sorry, Love.."
"I understand, Cala... It was a mistake. We're ok."
"It was a mistake I can't even remember.." Her eyes teared up and she swallowed back her fear of what could have happened. "I am still really really sorry. "
Love reaches over and gently squeezes her hand. "You were half awake, and not thinking. More then forgiven, Cala."
Calanthia looked up at him with pleading violet eyes. "Are you sure you forgive me, Love?" Tears now were peeking at the corners of her eyes.
Love nods, vigourusly. "Forgiven, and more then!"
For the first time since she had fully woken up, she actually smiled and with her one hand rubbed away tears that had never managed to fall. "Thank you Love."
Love smiles and nods. "You're welcome." He gets the wine and pours her some, then tastes the chicken.
When he poured her wine, Cala lifted up her glass. "How about a toast to new friendship?" She smiled to him, appearing as the Cala he had first met. It was as if that sorrowful and repenting girl was never there to begin with.
Love pours some for himself, and swallows. "The chicken is wonderful. And of course." He lifts his glass. "To new friends, may it last an age."
Calanthia let out a "Here Here!" And clinked her glass with his before taking a sip. "I'm glad you like the chicken. I'm not used to the spices of this land so I had to make it up."
Love clinks it and trhen sips gently, before taking another bite. "Tis good, well blended, Cala."
"I'm glad I could do something to make up for earlier." She then munched on the mashed potatoes.
Love smiles and conintues to eat chicken, nodding.
Calanthia finished her chicken rather quickly. "Now I won't have anymore chicken so you are more then welcomed to bring the rest home with you. I'm not sure if you have any housemates like I do."
Love smiles and blinks. "All right... and I do. LOTS."
"Oh yeah! I remember now you said you had a very full house!" She sweatdropped. "Sorry I'm still alittle out of it. I am sure it would go fast in that house."
He nods. "No, it's all right!" He smiles.
"I take it they eat chicken?"
"Oh yes. Just about anything food."
Calanthia laughed and finished her foot. She smiled. "The rest is yours to bring back then." She sipped at the wine. "How many live with you exactly."
Love ponders this, and scratches his head. "Ahhh..... 42 other anthros... I think..."
Calanthia blinked. "Whoaa thats alot of mouthes to feetd." She glanced down at the chicken. "Maybe I should make two more to just send home with you."
He laughs. "We manage... I'm not sure how, but we do!"
Calanthia jumped up from her seat. "I better get to work to make the other two chickens for you then!"
Love blinks. "If you'd like!"

The bengal could be seen running to get more chickens, de-gutting them, working at a hyperfast speed before they BOTH went into the oven and she sighed as she washed up her hands. "That should be enough right?"

Love watches her, amazed a bit. "Yeah I think so."

Calanthia looked worried as she looked over at him. "THINK so? Do you think I should make more?" She seemed a little frantic to get it done soon enough.

"Well no it's ok! There's always some one who suddenly wants to cook, so even if the chicken runs out, there'll be food!" He was watching her, eyes wide.

Calanthia laughed sighed with relief as she smiled. "Oh good."

Love nods. "Some more wine, Cala?"

Calanthia smiled to him. "Thank you but no thank you. I should be going as I have work to do." She moved over to her plate to collect and clean it. "Thank you for joining me for dinner. It was fun."

Love blinks. "Ahhh... all right... It was delightful, Cala."

She blinked at him curiously. "Do you wish for me to stay longer, Love? Because I am a feline of my word." A warm smile danced over her lips. "I promised I would stay here with you for as long as you need me."

Love smiles at her. "I... do not NEED you, and thus would not wish you to stay if you have duties callingm you, Cala."

Calanthia smiled to him and set her plate inside of the sink before she came over and hugged him. "If you ever need me for anything, anything at all, leave a message with Leena and I'll make sure to come find you."

Love nods quietly, and hugs her back. "All right, Cala... I will."

Cala smiled and kissed his forehead. "Take care Love." She then slipped away from him, and finished cleaning her plate before washing her hands again and placing on her gloves before she turned and waved to him, heading to the exit.

Love nods, and watches her leave, then sits back, unnerved but in a good mood.
