"Kay, I think I'll hang out here for a bit then," Chloe nodded, watching the two leave. She simply sat on the shoreline, watching the waves for the most part, as she let her party out for some much needed rest. While Cael and Daimon explored the world underneath the waves, Mikami was enjoying himself underground. Midna had settled for a shady spot underneath a rocky overhang, and was enjoying tormenting the local Wingull population. Krad took a nap in the sun, giving the evil eye to anyone he felt would disrupt his sleep, while Kaze sat next to Chloe watching the waves as well as he eventually dozed off also.

The next morning found Chloe wandering the shore, her party along with her. While Krad and Midna still hadn't gotten over their little rivalry, and occasionally Chloe would hear a small explosion behind her, raining any local tourists with a shower of sand, the two were, for the most part, behaving.
Kaze was exercising a bit, limbering up his wings as he soared low over the beaches, making wide circles in the morning sun as he tried to get the remaining mobility back in his wings. The Charizard had recovered nicely from their little incident, Chloe was glad to note, smiling up to the fiery creature as she watched him chase down a flock of Pelliper, challenging them to a race. Although they took it more as a threat, and scattered, Kaze had much fun in herding them through the skies, roaring every now and again to have them pick up the pace as they flew in panic.

Chloe set out to look for Mikami instead, who was still under the sands from yesterday. Calling out for the trouble-making Trapinch, Chloe spotted a familiar face pop out from the beach sands.
"Ah, there you are!" Chloe grinned. "Enjoy your little excursion?"
"Traaaaaaaaaaa," Mikami readily confirmed with a wide-toothy grin. He popped from the sands, shaking the excess from him with gusto, before trotting alongside Chloe and the others for a brief moment. He then stopped, looked up at Chloe, blinked, and uttered a confused, "Trapinch?"
"What's up?" Chloe asked, curious as to his behavior.
An answering shrug, and a tell-tale glow gave the answer. Mikami started to grow, as his shell split, revealing paper-thin wings that beat at a high velocity, giving off a humming sound, as Mikami rose into the air, turning to a shade of green.
Mikami has evolved into Vibrava!
Chloe grinned broadly, before hugging the Vibrava, who was slightly startled, but fluttered to perch briefly on her shoulder, before taking off, chasing the wind, before getting bored of his newfound power of flight, instead returning to Chloe's side.

"Haha, you look great, Mika," Chloe reassured the Vibrava, who nodded, pleased at the praise, before fluttering off down the beach, as Chloe followed, Kaze swooping low to see the spectacle. Krad and Midna were too busy hurling Shadow Balls and Psybeams at each other to notice, but Cael and Daimon watched as well, sensing the change as they rose to the ocean's surface, Cael taking flight, sending water droplets scattering as the Dragonite landed on the beach as well.
"Hm... while we wait for Henna and Sasha, what say you to going after a few more Hoenn gyms?" Chloe inquired to her team. "Looks like Flannery's next, so that battle will rely on you, Dai and Mika," she smiled. Both nodded, Mikami eager to please, and Daimon interested in seeing any new place, having never been to a gym before.
"Well, that settles it," Chloe grinned, scribbling a note for Henna and Sasha, just in case she didn't return prior to them coming back from their cave exploration.
Hopping on Kaze, as she recalled the rest of her party, Chloe took off, headed for Lavaridge.

With the fall of evening again, and still no sign of the others, Chloe decided to do a little Dragon hunting instead.
"Since Swablu and Bagon are here in Hoenn, I can work towards catching those, then," Chloe decided, flipping through her Pokedex to find the locations of said Pokemon. She had recalled all of her party except for Kaze at the moment, in order for easier travel (and to prevent any more mishaps between Krad and Midna...).
"Well, this should be easy enough. We just head to Fallarbor, and try to catch a Swablu. Once done there, we can head straight south to Meteor Falls," Chloe grinned. Convenience was definitely a plus.
