Tora smiled and closed her eyes. She sighed happily, believeing only for a second this could be real. Tora looked into Shagatsu's eyes and smiled. "I'm glad we had this talk, it's helped my poor heart," she said with a loving smile. "I wanted you to know I will always love you."

kawaiitanpopo Popo snapped back into reality. She sat down with her onee-san and looked to her. "Onee-san...why is the Teahouse such a..a...a..." She could not figure out the right word to say and thought about it. Popo hoped Iyasu could find the words for her..

"The world of the Teahouse seems sad, onee-san. How will I ever be able to overcome it?" Popo asked sadly.

Luna gripped Popo's hand. "Because you'll have us. we can tackle it together I don't mind doing something silly to lighten the mood. and, it can't be that bad, I watched my mother entertain when I was little, and my family often had guests that worked with ym father. is it really hat much different?" She hadn't said anything until now though it was clear she'd been deep in thought.

"It's not too much different, but the people from then and now are. This why you must becareful with some of actions, depending on the person. We are here to help one another out, espiecally your sisters. Do not worry, the tea house is only of the many places we will be entertaining." She said with a smile, "Now then girls, have some more news for you."

Tora's heart sank at Shagatsu's silence. She nodded to herself and stood and walked away, shaking her head and giving a sad sigh. She leaned against the base of one of her trees and let her tears flow. Tora caught sound of the last part of Iyasu's warning. She rolled from behind the tree to face the group. "What she says is very true, girls. Listen to her...," she trailed off. Tora's blue eyes were distant and cold.

Luna nodded at Iyasu's words though as she was about to say somethign she heard the other woman's voice and fell silent becomming shy again, as she usually was with new people. Her eyes flicked up and she noticed the girl seemed to have been crying. Not wanting to make her uncoimfortable luna stayed silent gripping Ppopo's hand.

Tora smiled and walked over to the table. She sat down with a sigh. "Luna-chan, Popo-chan," she stared. "Just be careful," she said with a sad smile. "I let my feelings get in the way and was hurt very badly."

She looked up to see Tora's red eyes and a sad smile came to her mouth to match her friend's. Iyasu leaned over, hugged her friend tightly and whispered to her, "Don't worry, things will only get better." She faced the maiko infront of them and nodded in agreement to Tora's statement.
"Do not worry, I will do my best to prepare just in case of such an event were to arise." She assured her younger sisters with a nod. "Now then, ready to continue our lessons? Tora-san, would you like to help me out?"

Luna had been quiet. "I understand what you mean, my mother tried to explain it once to me but I was to littl eto understand what she warned me about. Now I know. The heart is a delicate thing that a geisha must push aside and put into her dance music, and gift not give to a man who does not understand the place of the geisha." It was strange how mature and insightful she shounded for being so young.

Popo smiled slightly. She was unsure what to think anymore. There was ((social psychological principles...ugh..)) dissonance inside of her running through her head. She always believed that the Teahouse and being a geisha was a wondrous, magical thing, but now thought it was a cold and sad profession to be in. Popo worried that she would become a victim of the lifestyle.

She nodded to them, "For a geisha it does mean that our hearts must be pushed to the side, however never completely locked away. One day you will meet someone and that is when the trail and tribulations begin. You will learn in due time though to play in both worlds and know how to act and when to act upon your heart's calling. I will do my best to help you girls now and when you become a geisha." Iyasu smiled to her younger sisters, the wise Luna and the timid Tanpopo. The moon and the flower. She smiled to them, "Now then, shall we go into introductions or head straight into tea and serving food?"

Luna smiled. "I suppose the best form of experience is to go and see what it's like for ourselves and learn from that, I've been in the teahouse a few times but I have not entertained anyone before." She nodded and gripped Popo's hand for reassurance.

Kaida entered the garden and smiled at Keiji. She got close to him and held his hand. "It's never a sad place here," Kaida said looking around. She looked into Keiji's eyes and smiled.
