"Nah... There's other stuff," Sid said, making more effort to sound reassuring. "Like the theatre."

Sid snickered. "There's not much else to do, is there?"

"Outlet? Wha' sor' o' outlet?" The octopus shifted, the spines along his back flairing and flattening as he used his limbs to push himself into an almost sitting position leaning against the side of the tub.

"I mean I'm still waiting on the typewriter... Sent it off to someone to be fixed. Until then..." He flexed his fingers. "It's kinda hard to write."

"I'd offer t'try, bu' m'no good wit' letters n' words," Billy sighed, shiftinguncomfortably on the tile. "Y'got anymore o' tha' weed, then?" He debated crawling back into the bathtub, but he wasn't quite sure what he wanted to do. He liekd at least pretending he was normal and dry.

"It's nothing, really." Sid stepped back into the other room long enough to retrieve a few other joints he'd rolled. They were sloppily done, as the inspiration hit when he was still getting used to the new fingers, but they would suffice.

"Dude," Sid said as he went through the arduous task of lighting up. "If all goes well it'll be too surreal to even move."
He handed the first sloppy joint over to Billy and has a little less difficulty getting the second going.
